Media and Democrats happily misrepresent a Tara Reade statement:
So apparently Tara Reade in an interview suggested that she probably didn't use either then term "assault" or "harassment" in her complaint. Many players have used this to suggest that she didn't actually file any complaint that would have actually involved the allegations she is making today.
But that is not the truth, nor is it remotely the truth. Reade has suggested that the complaint will include a variety of allegations which would be described today as an assault or as harassment. But just that at the time those terms were not specifically put into the complaint (largely because they were not tossed around as they are today).
The headlines of several news organizations have now changed from Tara Reade did not actually accuse Biden of assault or harassment to Tara Reade did not use those specific terms in her complaint.

This is such a laugher that it should be wildly mocked as a top ten dumb thing for the media to say. Did they feel it wasn't their job to vet complaints against Brett Kavanaugh? Did they feel it wasn't their job to vet the stories about Stormy Daniels or other allegations against Trump.
So is the argument that the New York Times is actually making is that the news organizations are no longer able to make a serious effort to uncover the truth about "serious" political allegations? That it should have been up to the RNC to determine whether or not Trump conspired with Russia, because such a serious allegation is above their pay grade?
I wonder, very seriously, what goes through the minds of the people who run these outlets.

I agree with the times.....all the U Del papers should be vetted....Even though I believe there is nothing there....the problem becomes who are the reviewers!!!!! Every permutation of staff will be questioned by someone....But let the review begin and let the facts stand on their own....Like Reade's story changing 4 times.....lets find out what she said as there needs to be closure to shut you morons up!!!!!!

I guess Weinstein could argue the same about Clinton, if he had raped anyone it would have come out to stop Hillary and her hubby and his best buddy Bill.
Kind of a real weak argument. And actually it strengthens Tara's position because if it was politically motivated she would have come out 12 years ago. And she shouldn't have done all that documented evidence many years ago.
Even if Reade's charges were true,
and I am not saying they are,
how would that stack up against the NUMEROUS women who have alleged similar conduct by Trump, as detailed in Wikipedia's article "Donald Trump sexual misconduct allegations."
Many of those women claimed that Trump touched them inappropriately on their genitalia. (And then we have Trump's own proud recorded statement about grabbing women by the p....)
Democratic "progressives" have a long history of filing false charges and of being later charged themselves. That is why none of the supposed Trump women "victims" have filed charges, and also why all but one of these came up after Trump ran for office.
But this is about Tara and Biden.

The fact that Tapper had to say "to be honest" shows that it is a departure from what CNN usually reports.

Which is why looking at the Biden papers are so important. If there is a memo, minutes, or calendar entries indicating the allegation was discussed, then the 3 staffers lied.

“I remember talking about him wanting me to serve drinks because he liked my legs and thought I was pretty and it made me uncomfortable,” Reade said in an interview Friday with The Associated Press. “I know that I was too scared to write about the sexual assault.”
Reade said she described her issues with Biden but “the main word I used — and I know I didn’t use sexual harassment — I used ‘uncomfortable.’ And I remember ‘retaliation.'”
Reade described the report after the AP discovered additional transcripts and notes from its interviews with Reade last year in which she says she “chickened out” after going to the Senate personnel office. The AP interviewed Reade in 2019 after she accused Biden of uncomfortable and inappropriate touching. She did not raise allegations of sexual assault against Biden until this year, around the time he became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

Funny thing about all those allegations, there is barely any evidence to support them. Lisa Bloom even represented one of the accusers in a lawsuit. Mysteriously she moved to dismiss the lawsuit and petition the court to be removed from the case.
A lawyer would only do that if she suspected perjury and was put in a position of suborning that perjury.

That's not altogether true. She told her mother, brother, a neighbor, and to other AT THE TIME THE ALLEGE SEXUAL ASSULT OCCURRED.
Surly at the time when Junita Broderick and Monica Lewinsky was put through a humiliating ordeal she though ir was better to remain quite.
Maybe she foolishly thought that the feminist #metoo movement would believe and support her not knowing what vicious cynical cunts they are.
