So here are a couple of questions:

Why is it that liberals believe that only the Police should have guns and that we should rely on them to protect us, when they cannot even protect their own police precincts, much less anyone else's businesses or homes?

Oh, and if they are really just racist monsters who are just out to kill innocent minorities for kicks, why is it that they should be the only ones with guns and the power that comes with them? Doesn't that just make it easier and more likely that they will abuse people?

One surely unintended consequence of this week's violence: When the National Guard is patrolling the streets because huge armed police forces can't keep criminals from turning cities into war zones, America's gun control debate is *finished* for at least a generation. Over. Done.

And if rogue cops can't be fired beforehand due to public unions it just shows we need to abolish them. We don't need unions to protect government workers from the government. This is just a scam now for DNC contributions and overpaid government employees. And everyone telling each other what a great job they are doing.

They aren't.

And this shows it.

Autopsy Finds George Floyd Died of Asphyxia

An independent autopsy ordered by George Floyd’s family found his death was a “homicide caused by asphyxia due to neck and back compression that led to a lack of blood flow to the brain."

The medical examiner’s initial findings revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.

I don't think it's particularly surprising but other than putting public pressure on the prosecutor I'm not sure what good it will do.

The prosecutor would have to use the private autopsy as evidence (in which place, the defense would use the state autopsy in rebuttal). So that is not likely to happen.

And the victim or the victim's family have no rights in a criminal trial. Certainly not a right to present evidence or have representation.

Another poll showing the GOP of trump in deep shit.....

Former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, has built a double-digit lead over President Trump in his bid for the White House, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

The survey, released Sunday, found that 53 percent of registered voters favor Biden in a head-to-head match-up against Trump, while 43 percent support the president. The 10-point lead represents a significant improvement for Biden from a Post-ABC News poll released in March, which found the former vice president in a statistical tie with Trump.

That survey showed Biden with 49 percent support and Trump with 47 percent support.

Despite Biden's considerable lead, the poll indicated that Trump still enjoys enthusiasm from his supporters. Among the registered voters who were leaning toward voting for the president, 87 percent said they would definitely vote for him in November

George Floyd’s brother says violence is ‘not going to bring my brother back at all’

‘Let’s switch it up ya’ll. Let’s switch it up. Do this peacefully, please,’ Terrence Floyd said

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — George Floyd’s brother pleaded for peace in the streets Monday, saying violence is “not going to bring my brother back at all,” while President Donald Trump berated most of the nation’s governors as “weak” for not cracking down harder on the lawlessness that has convulsed cities from coast to coast.

The competing messages — one conciliatory, one bellicose — came as the U.S. braced for another round of disorder at a time when the country is already buckling because of the coronavirus outbreak and the Depression-level unemployment it has caused.

“We are a country that is scared,” said Sam Page, county executive in St. Louis County, Missouri, where the city of Ferguson has been synonymous with the Black Lives Matter movement since the 2014 death of Michael Brown, a black 18-year-old, during a confrontation with a white officer. “We are country that is angry. And we are a country that is holding out for the promise of justice for all.”

In Minneapolis, Floyd’s brother, Terrence, made an emotional plea for peace at the site of where Floyd was pinned to pavement by an officer who put his knee on the handcuffed black’s man neck for several minutes.

“Let’s switch it up ya’ll. Let’s switch it up. Do this peacefully, please,” Terrence Floyd said.

The crowd chanted, “What’s his name? George Floyd!” and “One down, three to go!” in reference to the four officers involved in Floyd’s arrest. Officer Derek Chauvin has been charged with murder, but protesters are demanding that his colleagues be prosecuted, too. All four were fired.

The gathering was part rally and part impromptu eulogy as Floyd urged people to stop the violence and use their power at the ballot box.

“If I’m not over here messing up my community, then what are you all doing?” he said. “You all are doing nothing. Because that’s not going to bring my brother back at all.”

The country has been beset by angry demonstrations for the past week in some of the most widespread racial unrest in the U.S. since the 1960s. Spurred in part by Floyd’s death, protesters have taken to the streets to decry the killings of black people by police.

While most of the demonstrations have been peaceful, others have descending into violence, leaving neighborhoods in shambles, stores ransacked and cars burned, despite curfews around the country and the deployment of thousands of National Guard members in at least 15 states.

While police in some places tried to calm tensions by kneeling or marching in solidarity, officers elsewhere were accused of treating protesters with the same kind of heavy-handed tactics that contributed to the unrest in the first place. Cities struggled to keep police in line.

In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, an officer was suspended for pushing a kneeling woman to the ground during a protest. In Atlanta, two officers were fired after bashing in the window of a car and using a stun gun on the occupants.
In Los Angeles, a police SUV accelerated into several protesters, knocking two people to the ground.

In New York, the police commissioner said about six incidents were being investigated by the department’s internal affairs bureau, including a weekend confrontation in Brooklyn in which two police vehicles appeared to plow through a group of protesters. In another incident, an officer pointed a gun at protesters, drawing condemnation from the mayor.

Honest, decent, truthful Rev. said...

“I think some of the actions of the NYPD have exacerbated the anger,” New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. “There are videos of some NYPD actions that are very disturbing. There are videos of NYPD cars driving into a crowd that are very disturbing. Pulling a mask down off a person to pepper spray them. Throwing a woman to the ground. It’s on video! It’s on video!”

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said he was considering imposing a curfew on the nation’s biggest city after groups of people broke into Chanel, Prada and Rolex boutiques and electronics stores on Sunday night.

At the same time, the mayor said the law-breaking in the city of 8.6 million people was being “fomented by a very small number of violent protesters.”

Around the country, political leaders girded for the possibility of more of what unfolded over the weekend: protesters hurling rocks and Molotov cocktails at police in Philadelphia, setting a fire near the White House and smashing their way into Los Angeles stores, running off with as much as they could carry.

At least 4,400 people have been arrested for offenses such as stealing, blocking highways and breaking curfew, according to a count by The Associated Press.

Police officers and National Guard soldiers enforcing a curfew in Louisville, Kentucky, killed a man early Monday when they returned fire after someone in a large group shot at them, police said. In Indianapolis, two people were reported dead in bursts of downtown violence over the weekend, adding to deaths recorded in Detroit and Minneapolis.

Trump told the nation’s governors in a video conference that they they “look like fools” for not deploying even more National Guard members.

“Most of you are weak,” he said.

He added: “You’ve got to arrest people, you have to track people, you have to put them in jail for 10 years and you’ll never see this stuff again.”

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a Democrat, rejected Trump’s call for the use of force. He said he told Trump during the meeting: “No one is laughing here. We’re in pain. We’re crying.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential candidate, wrote a post online expressing empathy for those despairing about Floyd’s killing. On Monday, he met with community leaders at a black church in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware.

“The vice president came to hear from us. This is a homeboy,” said Sylvester Beaman, pastor of the Bethel AME church.

Authorities in Minnesota said Monday that George Floyd’s death was a homicide that occurred while he was being restrained by law enforcement.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said an autopsy listed Floyd’s cause of death as a “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.” A spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for clarification.

The autopsy listed other "significant" conditions, including hypertensive heart disease, fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine use, the medical examiner said in a news release.

The document’s release came hours after pathologists hired by Floyds’ family concluded that he died after blood and air flow was cut off to his brain, causing him to die by mechanical asphyxia.

That autopsy, conducted by Dr. Michael Baden, the former chief medical examiner of New York City, found that he had no underlying medical problems that caused or contributed to his death.

“He was in good health,” Baden said.

Derek Chauvin, a Minneapolis police officer, was arrested in Floyd’s May 25 death. Video footage showing Chauvin pressing his knee into Floyd’s neck for several minutes set off waves of sometimes violent protests that have rocked cities across the country.

No One Should Want Four More Years of This

“The nation’s downward spiral into acrimony and sporadic anarchy has had many causes much larger than the small man who is the great exacerbator of them. Most of the causes predate his presidency, and most will survive its January terminus.

"The measures necessary for restoration of national equilibrium are many and will be protracted far beyond his removal.

"One such measure must be the removal of those in Congress who, unlike the sycophantic mediocrities who cosset him in the White House, will not disappear ‘magically,’ as Eric Trump said the coronavirus would.

"Voters must dispatch his congressional enablers, especially the senators who still gambol around his ankles with a canine hunger for petting.

“In life’s unforgiving arithmetic, we are the sum of our choices. Congressional Republicans have made theirs for more than 1,200 days.

"We cannot know all the measures necessary to restore the nation’s domestic health and international standing, but we know the first step:
Senate Republicans must be routed, as condign punishment for their Vichyite collaboration.”

Because that is what the official Hennepin County medical examiner stated. What that examiner finds is what will go on his death certificate.

The guy who conducted this autopsy is a hired gun. Same guy the Michael Brown family and the Jeff Epstein family hired to do their private autopsy.

He may be right, or the Hennepin County medical examiner might be correct. Not like this examiner was hired by the police or Republicans. He is part of the most liberal county, hired by Democrats.

I suppose you can question his integrity if you want. But I am pretty sure that the examiner hired by the family was paid to find that the cop killed him by asphyxia.... there was never any question that he would say that.

C.H. Truth said...

btw... What the hired gun doctor describes is more of a brain hypoxia than asphyxia. I heard another medical doctor talk about this, and he seemed fairly unconvinced that a knee on a back and another on the neck would deprive someone of brain oxygen without something else present (most likely a very serious condition or a lot of intoxicants). He didn't call it impossible, but he did believe it was improbable.

POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has extended the county’s curfew another night following a weekend of unrest and criminal activity.

“The death of George in Minneapolis at the hands of that police officer was outrageous,” Sheriff Grady Judd said. “Had that police officer done here what he did there, he would have been locked up in the county jail by sundown.”

“But Minneapolis is not Polk County,” Judd continued. “And I want to say unequivocally that the community here is unbelievable … But please understand, that if you come here to riot, to loot, to injure people, we’re going to lock you up in the county jail.”

Judd emphasized his appreciation for peaceful protests, but condemned those who were there over the weekend looting and rioting.

Polk County’s curfew goes into effect from 8 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Judd ended his address by speaking on a possible threat they’ve seen referenced on social media that suggests riot activity may start trickling into residential neighborhoods.

“I would tell them, if you value your life, you probably shouldn’t do that in Polk County,” Judd said. “Because the people of Polk County like guns, they have guns, I encourage them to own guns, and they’re going to be inside their homes tonight with their guns loaded. And if you try to break into their homes tonight and try to steal, to set fires, I’m highly recommending they blow you back out of the house with their guns.”

Trump held a bible in his hand while standing outside the church for only a few minutes. Budde said Trump had "done everything to divide us and has just used one of the most sacred symbols of the Judeo-Christian tradition."
The pastor of St. John's also told Fox News on Monday that he was unaware Trump was coming to the establishment, saying: "I feel like I'm in some alternative universe in a way."

MINNEAPOLIS, MN—In a powerful display of their care for love and justice, protesters in Minneapolis burned the word "LOVE" into the city, arranging the inspiring message with homes and businesses set ablaze by their riots.

Heartfelt and moving.

"We just really wanted to show how much we care about love and social justice by burning this community into a powerful reminder of what it's all about," said local protester Jake Hernandez, who had flown in from Portland for the event. "Now, when police and fire helicopters fly over to try to restore order, they'll be inspired by our message of love and harmony."

Upon seeing the heart-wrenching message of unity, police dropped their batons, ripped off their badges, donned bandanas, picked up bricks, and joined the protesters in their rioting and looting. "I don't know how I didn't see the light before," said former police officer, now Antifa chapter leader Bridget Morrison as she lobbed a Molotov cocktail into a minority-owned business. "I'm woke to the cause of love and harmony."

House Judiciary Democrats appear to be all in for protecting left wing terrorism, after their decision to strike down a commonsense proposal to include left-wing terrorism in H.R. 5602, “The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2020”.

The amendment, made by Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO), documented dozens of specific violent incidents by left-wing groups or individuals. As the text stands, H.R. 5602’s findings mention only right-wing or white supremacist attacks. The legislation does mentions recent antisemitic attacks in New Jersey and New York, but fails to mention that perpetrators were reportedly linked to the Black Hebrew Israelites, a fringe African American group that the FBI has identified as a potential terror risk. This follows on repeated efforts by some on the left -including Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib- to conflate these and similar attacks on Jews in the region with white supremacy, despite the actual identity of the perpetrators.

[...]

This tendency to eliminate relevant and informative terminology in identifying threats reached its pinnacle under the Obama Administration with the advent of “Countering Violent Extremism,” which deliberately obscured the nature of jihadist terror facing the United States. This led to the preposterous situation where individual jihadists not positively linked to an existing designated terror group are labeled both “homegrown” and “international terrorism” at the same time.

It has increasingly become clear that Countering Violent Extremism program was an utter failure as even government officials have said there’s no evidence Countering violent extremism ever prevented a terror attack.

This latest move by House Democrats shows once again how fundamentally dishonest and unserious the discussion of domestic terrorism has become. While Republicans are willingly to admit that there is some level of threat from violent white supremacists -acknowledging that it is a threat among several significant domestic terror threats- the left continues to ignore and dismiss any and all threats except those they can exploit for political advantage, even if that requires mislabeling incidents and eliminating references to terror threats that originated from other groups.

Getting harder and harder to tell the difference between reality and parody.

The Right Rev. Mariann Budde, the Episcopal bishop of Washington, was seething.
President Trump had just visited St. John’s Episcopal Church, which sits across from the White House. It was a day after a fire was set in the basement of the historic building amid protests over the death of George Floyd in the custody of Minneapolis police.
Before heading to the church, where presidents have worshiped since the days of James Madison, Trump gave a speech at the White House emphasizing the importance of law and order. Federal officers then used force to clear a large crowd of peaceful demonstrators from the street between the White House and the church, apparently so Trump could make the visit.
“I am outraged,” Budde said in a telephone interview a short time later, pausing between words to emphasize her anger as her voice slightly trembled.
She said she had not been given any notice that Trump would be visiting the church and did not approve of the manner in which the area was secured for his appearance.

“I am the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington and was not given even a courtesy call, that they would be clearing [the area] with tear gas so they could use one of our churches as a prop,” Budde said.
She excoriated the president for standing in front of the church — its windows boarded up with plywood — holding up a Bible, which Budde said “declares that God is love.”

Welcome to trumps vision of Marshall law.

you mean martial law.

and honestly BWAA, while i'm disgusted to watch what's happening in the cities, i don't have to live there.

minorities do. they're the ones who have spent a lifetime building a small business only to have some EBT card carrying asshole or some suburban trust fund antifa shitstain destroy it in an instant.

assholes like you and the alky whine about martial law or posse comitatus - first of all not know their definitions - but worse, while watching DEMOCRAT governors and mayors do absolutely nothing to stop the destruction.

in fact, these DEMOCRAT governors and mayors seem to be ADVOCATING for this shit, while soros-funded anarchists are making sure pallets of bricks are being delivered to these places. with not a construction job in sight.

you see dumb fuck, i'm content to watch this shit play out on TV. right up until the point that these clowns enter my neighborhood.

antifa is now on twitter calling for movement into residential areas. the "white hoods."

splendid.

we're prepared to welcome them.

and send them home to mommy in pieces. stuffed into a garbage bag.

Mayor Bill de Blasio's daughter, Chiara, arrested at Manhattan protest

Play Video

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s daughter was arrested at a Manhattan protest on Saturday night, law enforcement sources told The Post on Sunday.

Chiara de Blasio, 25, was taken into custody around 10:30 p.m. after cops declared an unlawful assembly at 12th Street and Broadway in Lower Manhattan, the sources said.

She had allegedly been blocking traffic on Broadway and was arrested after refusing to move, the source said.

“That was a real hotspot, police cars were getting burned there, people were throwing and yelling, fighting with cops. There were thousands of people in that area at that time,” the source said.

Twitter Places Warning on Congressman’s Tweet for Glorifying Violence
The post, from Representative Matt Gaetz, a Florida Republican, had likened protesters to terrorists and called for them to be hunted down.

OAKLAND, Calif. — Days after restricting one of President Trump’s posts from view for glorifying violence, Twitter went at it again.

On Monday, the social media service used the same label to hide a message by Representative Matt Gaetz, Republican of Florida — which likened those who were protesting police violence to terrorists and called for them to be hunted down. The move also meant that the tweet could not be retweeted or liked, to prevent it from being amplified.

“Now that we clearly see Antifa as terrorists, can we hunt them down like we do those in the Middle East?” Mr. Gaetz had tweeted on Monday, referring to the far-left anti-fascist activist movement. Shortly after his tweet was hidden, he reposted a message from the president that called for a law that gives technology companies some legal immunities to be revoked. “Their warning is my badge of honor,” he wrote later on Monday.

Twitter last week engaged in a face-off with the president after adding fact-check labels to two of his tweets and then restricting a post in which Mr. Trump said that looting during the protests would lead to shooting. While the San Francisco company was applauded by some for taking more responsibility for the kinds of posts that appear on its platform, others said it was biased against conservatives like Mr. Trump.

President Trump has relentlessly attacked mail voting, calling it a free-for-all for cheating and a Democratic scheme to rig elections.

None of the charges are true.

But as eight states and the District of Columbia vote on Tuesday in the biggest Election Day since the coronavirus forced a pause in the primary calendar, it is clear that Mr. Trump’s message has sunk in deeply with Republicans, who have shunned mail ballots.

Republican officials and strategists warned that if a wide partisan gap over mail voting continues in November, Republicans could be at a disadvantage, an unintended repercussion of the president’s fear-mongering about mail ballots that could hurt his party’s chances, including his own.

In Pennsylvania, Iowa, Indiana and New Mexico, all states voting on Tuesday that broadly extended the option to vote by mail this year, a higher share of Democrats than Republicans have embraced mail-in ballots.

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Richmond Police Chief Will Smith got emotional during a press conference after the second night of protests in the city.

Chief Smith says last night protesters set fire to a few buildings, including a multi-family residence that was occupied by a child in the 300 block of West Broad Street.

As fire crews were arriving, Smith says protesters blocked the engine from reaching the fire.

“When you take a legitimate issue and hijack it for unknown reasons, that is unacceptable to me, it’s unacceptable to the Richmond Police Department, unacceptable to the city of Richmond,” said Smith.

While choking up, Smith said officers were fortunate enough to make it inside the structure to rescue the child and family.

If a Democratic President had declared martial law in response to demonstrators who were exhibiting their second amendment rights, you would be shouting #impeachment Scott A**hole.

First of all... Bullshit!

I have never ever been in favor of rioting and I would have liked nothing more than for my own Governor to have called up all 13,000 National Guards soldiers on day one. It doesn't matter to me that he is a Democrat or a Republican.

And if I had a Republican Governor who sat on this for several days and allowed entire city blocks to be burned down as well as ordering a police station to be abandoned (which also got burned down) - I would be just as pissed at him or her.

Secondly... you might as well suggest I have a problem with unicorns, because a Democrat who will actually try to put a hard stop to rioting is just as rare as a unicorn...
