White protests bad, black protests good, experts find

And whitesplaining to blacks is good also while they burn black businesses, stores and neighborhoods.

No vote democrat, no peace.

The left is all-in with their efforts to defeat Trump in 2020 after failing in their coup attempt for four years.

And now it really is in plain sight

BWAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! You still hiding in mommy's basement fucking goats???????

Trumps BULLSHIT FROM just yesterday..... and the stogies proved correct again

Trump also repeated numerous other claims The Times has previously fact checked:

— He misleadingly claimed to have ushered in the “cleanest air, the cleanest water we’ve ever had.” (America’s air is much cleaner than it was five decades ago after years of progress, but independent analyses have shown that air quality has declined under Trump’s watch.)

— He misleadingly claimed to have “stopped people very early on from China,” a decision made with the support of “almost nobody.” (The travel restrictions had many exceptions, followed similar actions by scores of other countries and was made on the advice of career health officials.)

— He falsely claimed to have been left “empty cupboards” of supplies for a pandemic. (The Strategic National Stockpile had more than $7 billion worth of supplies when he took office.)

— He misleading claimed that the United States had conducted more coronavirus tests “than anybody in the world.” (It still lags other countries in testing per capita.)

— He falsely said China “paid for” the cost of tariffs and that a “small fraction” of tariff revenue went to farmers hurt by his trade war. (The cost of tariffs are largely passed on to American companies and consumers. They have generated $53.4 billion in duties, as of June 3, while farmers have received about $28 billion in relief.)

— He exaggerated the trade deficit with China as $500 billion a year. (It was $307 billion last year.)

— He hyperbolically claimed to have “rebuilt the military.” (The military has been buying new equipment but continues to use old and aging equipment as well.)

Another oops for the slurpers to ponder!!!!!

By Joseph Ax

(Reuters) - Republicans are more pessimistic about the country's direction than at almost any other time during Donald Trump's presidency, as a trio of crises – the coronavirus pandemic, an economic downturn and mass protests over police brutality – buffets his administration.

Only 46% of Americans who identify as Republicans say the country is on the right track, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted last week. It is the first time that number has fallen so low since August 2017, when a rally organized by white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia led to violent clashes with counter-protesters.

As recently as early March, before the novel coronavirus forced widespread shutdowns across the country, about 70% of Republicans said they were optimistic about the country's direction.

Trump's approval rating remains resilient at around 40%, with a large majority of Republicans still approving of his overall performance.

But sustained pessimism among Trump's supporters could portend potential weakness ahead of November's election, when he will face Democratic former Vice President Joe Biden, experts said.

Thirty-seven percent of Republicans said the country is on the wrong track; 17% of those said they would vote for Biden if the election were held now, while 63% still plan to cast ballots for Trump.

In an election most analysts believe will come down to a handful of closely divided states such as Michigan, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, even minor defections or a dip in turnout among the Republican ranks could imperil Trump's chances.

Actually, de Blasio SHOULD go.
BUT NOT CUOMO, NO.
______

New Yorker:
Bill de Blasio Faces the Fury of New Yorkers

“The record for the most notorious radio appearance made by a New York City mayor has long been held by Rudy Giuliani, who, on his weekly WABC call-in show, berated a ferret-loving constituent for showing an ‘excessive concern with little weasels’ and advised him to seek psychiatric help. The baton has now been passed. On Friday morning, Mayor Bill de Blasio called in to the weekly Ask the Mayor segment on WNYC’s The Brian Lehrer Show…

“What followed was a thirty-minute performance of defensiveness, denial, and bizarre false equivalence.”
____________

POLITICO:
TRUMP AIDE Retweets Video of Man Using Racial Slurs

Mercedes Schlapp, a senior adviser to the Trump campaign, retweeted a video of a man brandishing a chainsaw at anti-racism protesters and screaming the N-word multiple times, Politico reports.

She later deleted the tweet and issued an apology, claiming she had retweeted without watching the video.

WELL NOW, THAT'S NOT EXACTLY BRIGHT.
(TO DO IT, OR TO CLAIM IT)
____________

Minneapolis Mayor Told to Leave Protest

Protesters booed Mayor Jacob Frey and told him to leave the protest after he said he supported police reform but not abolishing the department altogether.
______________

Wall Street Journal
Trump’s Focus Shifts Away From Coronavirus

“U.S. coronavirus deaths have surpassed 100,000 and health experts say the pandemic remains a serious concern, but Mr. Trump and his advisers have made a strategic decision to shift focus, according to administration officials and others familiar with the matter. The move predates the nationwide protests following the killing of a black man in Minneapolis police custody, which have captured the attention of both the American public and the White House—and brought tens of thousands out of lockdown.

“The president and his aides have turned to issues they believe will animate the president’s conservative base ahead of the election while projecting confidence that the country is recovering economically.”

WELL NOW, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED TO GET PEOPLE TO FORGET ABOUT YOUR MISHANDLING OF BOTH THE PANDEMIC AND ALL THE EVIDENCE REVEALING YOUR DEFENSE OF SYSTEMIC RACISM. NOT AN EASY TASK.

PS This is a little experiment, folks. Will explain later.

ANOTHER NICE SUNDAY FACT:

Colin Powell endorses Joe Biden for president

Reuters Reuters•June 7, 2020
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -

Former Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell on Sunday endorsed Democratic former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, becoming the first major Republican to publicly back Donald Trump's rival ahead of November's election.

Powell, who led the U.S. military during the 1991 Gulf War under Republican former President George H.W. Bush and later led the U.S. Department of State under President George W. Bush, said Trump was "ineffective" and has only gotten worse since he took office.

"I cannot in any way support President Trump this year," Powell, who did not vote for Trump in 2016, told CNN in an interview.

Asked if he would vote for Biden, he added: "I will be voting for him."

Still wondering if Lil Schitty has looked up the origin of 2.2 million deaths he claimed the models got wrong!!!!!!! BWAAAAAAAAA!!!!

here you go, BWAA:

Speaking from the White House Rose Garden on March 29, Trump cited new mortality projections by Dr. Deborah Birx, response coordinator for the White House Coronavirus Task Force, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The two had predicted that if no preventive measures were taken, the pandemic could cause 2.2 million deaths in the U.S.; if such measures were taken, the toll could be between 100,000 and 200,000 deaths over an unspecified period of time.

https://www.wmfe.org/we-all-feel-at-risk-100000-people-dead-from-covid-19-in-the-u-s/155038

American officials said the report, which projected up to 2.2 million deaths in the United States from such a spread, also influenced the White House to strengthen its measures to isolate members of the public.

A report that helped convince Trump to take coronavirus seriously projected that 2.2 million people could die in the US if we don't act

Honest, decent, truthful Rev. said...

Thanks for giving us this, rat:
(forgive me if I put the emphasis a little differently from the way you did)

rat cited:
"The two [Birx and Fauci] had predicted that if no preventive measures were taken, the pandemic could cause 2.2 million deaths in the U.S.; if such measures WERE taken, the toll could be between 100,000 and 200,000 deaths over an unspecified period of time."

Well, rat, we're at 100,000 plus deaths now, so it looks like the two knew what they were talking about. Of course, in saying this, they were contradicting Trump who had predicted we would be down to close to zero cases within a few days.

** NOTICE OF CONSTANT SPAMMING and USE OF TAEGAN GODDARD's POLITICAL_LIRE ***

Regular readers of this blog know the constant spamming, lying and obsession for that left-wing Taegan Goddard blog by a certain poster. That poster james, also called the "pastor" (which he claims to be even if you can't tell by his actions) is the POS responsible and considers his mindless rude behavior his hobby. Sometimes he credits Taegan Goddard, sometimes he doesn't.

He has descended so far into TDS and desperation he fills every discussion thread with what people have described as an avalanche of spam. If this is being posted today is no different. He even gets his edited news from that site and spams that if he thinks it will hurt Trump. Every day he repeats what that site posts, regardless of topic. It gets so bad he feels the need to even repeat his spam multiple times in a single thread as well as posting in every active thread the very same spam.

He has exhibited the same mental deterioration as Joe Biden and his postings should be given the same consideration. Both their heads will probably explode when it becomes obvious that Trump will win a second term. Biden will not even notice his head did.

I'm JAMES'S FUCKING DADDY and I APPROVE OF THIS MESSAGE

NOTE TO READERS:
--Retired pastor James, an old white POS who will waterboy forever from his ultra-liberal GODdard and savior political_lire's blog.

No matter what the thread topic is.

And will try and do whatever it takes or approve of any means, legal or illegal, to dispose of a duly elected president.

Colin L. Powell, a former secretary of state and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Sunday that he would vote for Joe Biden in November because President Trump has “drifted away” from the Constitution, is a chronic liar and is “dangerous to our country.”
In a blistering interview with Jake Tapper on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Powell added his voice to a string of retired generals, admirals and Pentagon chiefs who have denounced Trump since his threats to use troops to break up nationwide protests over the killing of George Floyd at the hands of police in Minneapolis.
“We have a Constitution,” Powell said. “And we have to follow that Constitution. And the president has drifted away from it. I’m so proud of what these generals and admirals have done, and others have done.”
The former secretary of state called Trump — who has shown disdain for diplomacy and long-standing U.S. allies and has demonized immigrants — a liar who has harmed America’s moral authority.
“He lies. He lies about things. And he gets away with it because people will not hold him accountable,” said Powell, who served in President George W. Bush’s Cabinet.
Colin Powell: ‘The Republican Party has got to get a grip on itself’

Powell also rebuked Republicans who have been silent about Trump’s shortcomings and urged the American people to eject the incumbent out of office.
“We’re not the country of just the president, we have a Congress, we have a Supreme Court, but, most of all, we have the people of the United States, the ones who vote. The ones who vote him in and the ones who vote him out. I couldn’t vote for him in 2016. I certainly cannot in any way support President Trump this year.”
Powell told CNN that he didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 partly because of Trump’s support for the birther movement, which falsely claims that Barack Obama was born in Africa, not the United States.
