Blaming Trump for violence perpetrated by blm & antifa...

is like a student who refuses to do his homework blaming the teacher for failing!

Make no mistake. Black lives matter and antifa are to blame for their own violence. The local mayors and prosecutors who call off their police and refuse to prosecute are next in line for blame. The state leadership that refuses to step in and do something is next in line for blame. The media and liberals who downplay the violence and demand that it's all "mostly peaceful" are last in line. There is no more blame to go around.

To blame the President and the Federal government, who are the only ones condemning and offering to actually do something to stop the violence is immature and downright silly. Moreover, many of those who refuses the help of the Federal government are the first ones to point the figure at them in order to cover their own asses. Remember when the left determined that the only reason Portland was in a constant state of riot was because the Feds were there? Obviously that wasn't the case.

Does anyone "really" believe that the blame for violence lies anywhere other than with those actually responsible for said violence or for those tasked to prevent it?  It's become so kneejerk for people on the left to blame literally "everything" on Trump without any logical reason to do so, that it has sort of become it's own parody. They've literally become the Party of no responsibility.

Let me make something perfectly clear. You put people who take no responsibility in charge and you will get exactly what you deserve. Nothing but finger pointing.

Biden isn't making a cohesive case for condemning the violence. Rather he is still supporting the blm and antifa actions... just blaming them on Trump.

That is the new line of rhetoric. The TPM so to speak.

Liberals have declared that the violence may be bad and that blm and antifa probably shouldn't continue to blow everything up... but the only reason they are doing it is because of Trump.

It will all "magically" disappear if Dementia Joe is elected.

Even with the steady decline, Trump’s popularity in the poll remains better than former President Barack Obama. Obama had a 36 percent favorable rating and a 52 percent unfavorable rating in a January 2017 Military Times poll.

Still, the dipping popularity among troops — considered by Republican Party leaders to be part of the base of Trump’s support — could prove problematic for the president in the upcoming election.

Among active-duty service members surveyed in the poll, 41 percent said they would vote for Biden, the Democratic nominee, if the election was held today. Only 37 percent said they plan to vote to re-elect Trump.

Fox Business called out the lies by the President

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden said Monday he does not intend to ban fracking if he wins the November election, countering repeated claims from President Trump that his opponent would destroy Pennsylvania's fracking and fossil fuel industries.

"I am not banning fracking," the former vice president said during a speech from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. “Let me say that again: I am not banning fracking no matter how many times Donald Trump lies about me.”

TRUMP TELLS 'MORNINGS WITH MARIA' BIDEN PRESIDENCY WOULD BRING 'BIGGEST TAX INCREASE IN HISTORY'

Fracking, also known as hydraulic fracturing, is a technique of extracting natural gas from the shale rock. It involves a drilling process that injects water, sand and chemicals into the ground, fracturing rocks and releasing the natural gas. The method is controversial and is often criticized by climate activists and Democrats

During a March primary debate, Biden -- when Sen. Bernie Sanders spoke of his own proposal to eliminate fracking entirely -- said "so am I. No more -- no new -- fracking." But Biden's campaign said he misspoke and that his position was unchanged: he supports banning new oil gas and permits, including fracking, on federal land.

JOE BIDEN'S 2020 TAX PLAN: THE KEY POINTS

Biden has proposed an aggressive $2 trillion plan to boost investment in clean energy and stop all carbon emissions from U.S. power plants by 2035. It would set the country on a path to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. He has proposed a worldwide ban on fossil fuel subsidies

Banning fracking on state-regulated private lands would likely require action by Congress. Biden has cast doubt on whether lawmakers would support such a ban.

"Because you can't ban fracking right now; you've got to transition away from it," he told one anti-fracking activist in December.

Still, Biden's running mate, California Sen. Kamala Harris, endorsed a complete ban of fracking during her own presidential campaign and the Green New Deal, the massive climate change proposal introduced by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey. Vice presidential nominees typically defer to the top of the ticket on policy.

States with the most fracking, including Pennsylvania and Ohio, are key battleground states. Trump has seized onto the issue, offering misleading comments about Biden wanting to eliminate fracking -- and the hundreds of thousands of jobs the industry has created.

“Biden has promised to abolish the production of American oil, coal, shale and natural gas laying waste to the economies of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Colorado and New Mexico, destroying those states,” Trump falsely stated during his speech at the Republican National Convention last week.

TRUMP SAYS BIDEN'S CORONAVIRUS POLICIES WOULD CAUSE 'CRIPPLING, LONG-LASTING DEPRESSION'

Biden's comments in Pittsburgh came amid a fierce partisan battle over who is to blame for the violence and destruction during some of the anti-racism protests that have gripped the nation since the police killing of George Floyd, a Black man, in Minneapolis in May.

This column has been updated.
HILLSBORO, Ohio — Ohio has long been considered a reliable bellwether for presidential election outcomes, and recent polling has President Trump and his Democratic challenger Joe Biden more or less tied. Many analysts consider the Buckeye State a toss-up. In 2016, pre-election polling underestimated the size of Trump’s win there, and the same could happen in 2020. A recent NPR analysis observed, “There’s an argument for putting Ohio in the toss-up category, strictly based on the closeness of polling. But this is a state Trump should win based on demographic and voting trends.”
What these polls might not be capturing, however, is a series of recent scandals involving Ohio Republicans. These events might give anti-Trumpers reason to hope the president’s prospects here are in jeopardy.
AD

On July 21, the Republican speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, Larry Householder, was awakened by federal agents converging on his southeastern Ohio farmhouse. They were there to arrest him in connection with a $60 million racketeering and bribery investigation. Four others — lobbyists and Householder associates — were also arrested around the state in connection with the probe.
According to the criminal complaint, Householder funneled millions of dollars in contributions from Akron-based electric utility FirstEnergy Solutions into a non-reportable account. He then used the funds both for personal expenses and to support the 2018 election of Republican lawmakers — dubbed “Team Householder” — who would be loyal to him, back his bid to become speaker and then push for legislation providing a $1 billion taxpayer bailout for two nuclear power plants in northern Ohio.
Indeed, as planned, Householder was elected speaker last year in a close vote after he cut a deal with Democrats. The bailout bill passed the legislature and was quickly signed into law by Ohio’s Republican governor, Mike DeWine. A referendum effort to overturn the bill was opposed by FirstEnergy, Householder and others using money and tactics that also factor into the federal charges.

That’s the weight of a medieval battle axe

A battle axe (also battle-axe, battle ax, or battle-ax) is an axe specifically designed for combat. Battle axes were specialized versions of utility axes. Many were suitable for use in one hand, while others were larger and were deployed two-handed.
Axes designed for warfare ranged in weight from just over 0.5 to 3 kg (1 to 7 lb), and in length from just over 30 cm (1 ft) to upwards of 150 cm (5 ft), as in the case of the Danish axe or the sparth axe.

Pence Was Put on Standby Last Fall to ‘Take Over’

Vice President Mike Pence was put on standby to temporarily assume the powers of the presidency during President Trump’s unannounced visit to Walter Reed hospital in November 2019, according to a copy of Michael Schmidt’s forthcoming book obtained by CNN.

Schmidt writes that “word went out in the West Wing for the vice president to be on standby to take over the powers of the presidency temporarily if Trump had to undergo a procedure that would have required him to be anesthetized."

While Pence did not ultimately assume the powers of the presidency the account raises fresh questions about the reason for Trump’s unscheduled visit.

the economy and the disruption created by a failed covid-19 response.
Kids who went away to college this month will likely be back at home when their campuses have reverted to all-remote learning.
Schools that do open for in-class sessions will likely be closing or are soon to close,
with parents watching their kids’ anxiety rise while their education suffers.
There will be far fewer Friday night lights this fall,
and family reunions at Thanksgiving and at holidays that follow look to be extra-complicated,
both if you need to travel and then once you and yours finally get together.”

“The fabric of American life has been torn and the calming presence of a man who actually knows how to be president will be far more appealing than a red-faced screamer furious at what has happened on his watch.”

Trump Urges Keeping Tax Returns Away from Prosecutor
8:37 pm

President Trump urged a federal appeals court not to let Manhattan’s top prosecutor get eight years of his tax returns, saying the handover would cause him irreparable harm, Reuters reports.

The argument was made in a filing with the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan, which on Tuesday will hear oral arguments on Trump’s bid to delay Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance’s subpoena for the returns during Trump’s appeal.

Democratic Firm Predicts ‘Red Mirage’ and ‘Chaos’
8:25 pm

Hawkfish, the political data agency funded by Michael Bloomberg, is predicting “chaos” as the presidential election votes are tallied, Axios reports.

“We believe that on Election Night, we are going to see Donald Trump in a stronger position than the reality actually is,” Hawkfish CEO Josh Mendelsohn said, calling the phenomenon a “red mirage.”

That’s because Trump will win “potentially in a landslide” from in-person Election Day votes, “but lose a week later” as mail ballots are counted.

Prosecutors Have ‘Voluminous’ Emails In Bannon Case

Trump Questions Value of Fauci
8:00 pm EDT

President Trump questioned the value of Dr. Anthony Fauci to the White House coronavirus task force, telling Fox News that he “inherited” the federal government’s top infectious disease expert.

Said Trump: “I disagree with a lot of what he said. I get along with him, but every once in a while, he’ll come up with one that I say, ‘Where did that come from?'”

He added: “I inherited him. He was here. He was part of this huge piece of machine.”

HHS to Spend $250 Million to ‘Defeat Despair’ on Virus
7:55 pm EDT

As the presidential election fast approaches, the Department of Health and Human Services is bidding out a more than $250 million contract to a communications firm as it seeks to “defeat despair and inspire hope” about the coronavirus pandemic, Politico reports.

The vast majority of the money will be spent from now until January.

Exchange of the Day

President Trump was interviewed by Laura Ingraham on Fox News:

INGRAHAM: Who do you think is pulling Biden’s strings?

TRUMP: People you’ve never heard of. People that are in the dark shadows.

INGRAHAM: What does that mean? That sounds like a conspiracy theory: “Dark shadows.”

BREAKING: President Trump decried Black Lives Matter as a "discriminatory" organization that is "bad for Black people" as part of a broader diatribe against protests in response to racial injustice.

"Black Lives Matter is a Marxist organization," Trump claimed. "The first time I ever heard of Black Lives Matter, I said, 'That’s a terrible name.' It’s so discriminatory. It’s bad for Black people. It’s bad for everybody.”

And Trump & his White House STOOGIES still let it air?

This, coupled with the reporting about Walter Reed, makes one really wonder if he is mentally competent right now.

Even deranged Laura Ingraham realizes the loonie is OUT BEYOND OUR SOLAR SYSTEM...DERANGED PLANETARY DE-ORBITAL trump.

Rioting is not protesting. Looting is not protesting. Setting fires is not protesting. It's lawlessness, plain and simple. Those who do it should be prosecuted. Violence will not bring change. It will only bring destruction. It's wrong in every way.

I don't see the words ANTIFA and BLM. in this statement. Also no mention of the NAACP who said the abhor the violence but agree with to goals of the rioters.

And also no criticism of Kamala Harris who basically supported the rioting, burning, and looting when she was on with Stephen Colbert.

Blames Trump for trying to stop it however.

Earlier tonight, Alice Johnson, who President Trump just pardoned was speaking to a room full of people on Clubhouse, an app you may have heard of
Silicon Valley is going crazy for Clubhouse, a social media app with 1,500 users...

While she was speaking, she described the events of Thursday night after leaving the White House, where a mob had descended

She described being attacked, spit on, and having to take her heels off to defend herself from the out of control mob

The mob descended on Alice and she was in tears and afraid as they attacked her the same way they attacked Rand Paul

In the clubhouse room listening to Alice were Gayle King, MC Hammer, Van Jones and others

What was their reaction?

They told Alice to never repeat the story was told Van Jones specifically told Alice not to repeat her story

The left wing coastal elites don't care that Alice was spit on and attacked

They're afraid people finding out the left wing mob attacked her will hurt Biden

Don't be surprised for more info to come out and more people to corroborate

I'm told there were about 350 people in the clubhouse room

Although the report says that Van Jones is specifically the person who told a source to never tell her story, it also mentions that Gayle King was present -- and it seems that Gayle King has decided to observe the Black Code of Omerta.

Add to list
In recent days, President Trump and allies have offered a fulsome defense of a presidential economic record.
Alas, the presidential record they’re describing isn’t Trump’s. It belongs to his predecessor, Barack Obama. And perhaps also to Obama’s second-in-command, Joe Biden.
Team Trump, in promulgating the myth of Trump’s economic genius, has recently doubled down on a false narrative: that Trump inherited a recession and magically turned it into a boom. This is almost the exact reverse of events of the past 3½ years. In reality Trump inherited from Obama an expansion — one that, in retrospect, turned out to be the longest in U.S. history — and converted it into a bust.
Not just any bust; a possible depression, at least for the working class.
Now, my standard disclaimer applies: Presidents generally get too much credit when the economy is good and too much blame when the economy is bad. They don’t control the business cycle and can affect things only on the margin. For example, they could bungle the response to an existing downturn (by, ahem, appointing incompetent aides, discrediting real experts, increasing distrust in government statistics, alienating crucial allies — that sort of thing).

But Trump has asked to be judged by cold, hard economic metrics. So let’s indulge him.
Right now, employment is down, on net, 6 million jobs since Trump became president. Contrary to White House adviser Peter Navarro’s christening of Trump as “the greatest jobs president” in history, Trump is on track to become the worst jobs president on record. That is, if not reelected, he will likely become the first president since modern employment statistics were recorded to leave office with fewer jobs than there were at his inauguration.
That’s because, while payrolls are growing, we remain deeply in the hole; the Congressional Budget Office recently forecast that under current law the U.S. economy won’t until 2022 recover all the jobs that existed when Trump was inaugurated. Recovering to the level at the start of the pandemic would take even longer.

Amid unrest in Kenosha, Wis., Biden leads Trump by 9 points, 52% to 43%.

Nationally, President Trump trails Joe Biden by 8 points among likely voters — identical to a poll conducted before the Democratic National Convention earlier this month.

Biden saw his favorability improve to 51% after conventions concluded, while 55% continue to view Trump unfavorably.

Despite two weeks of party conventions and amid civil unrest prompted by the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wis., the state of the race between President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden stands largely unchanged from its pre-convention numbers in some of the country’s most-contested states — with the notable exception of Arizona.

While Biden was trailing the president in the Southwestern battleground by 2 percentage points in an Aug. 7-16 Morning Consult poll conducted before the Aug. 17 start of the Democratic National Convention, the former vice president has improved his margin over Trump by 12 points.

According to the Aug. 21-30 survey of 943 likely Arizona voters, which has a 3-point margin of error, Biden leads Trump, 52 percent to 42 percent, driven by a 10-point increase in support among Arizona men, statistically tying him with Trump (49 percent to 45 percent), and a 7-point increase in support with suburban Arizonans, who now favor Biden by 9 points, 51 percent to 42 percent. He also leads among women (55 percent to 40 percent) and independents (51 percent to 37 percent) in the state.

Morris Gulett, a neo-Nazi leader who created an outpost of the Aryan Nations in Louisiana, has donated at least $2,000 to President Donald Trump's reelection campaign, according to data collected by Popular Information.

He has donated at least 29 times since 2017, and the Trump campaign was reportedly made aware of the donations in 2018 by The Forward.

Popular Information detailed donations from several others, including businessman Peter Zieve, who was sued by Washington state over accusations of discriminating against minority employees.

The Trump campaign has accepted thousands of dollars from racist extremists, including a neo-Nazi leader who runs an outpost of the Aryan Nations in Louisiana.

Trump Denounces Black Lives Matter
September 1, 2020 at 8:01 am EDT

President Trump denounced Black Lives Matter in a Fox News interview as a “Marxist organization” and said it was “discriminatory.”

Said Trump: “The first time I ever heard of Black Lives Matter, I said, ‘That’s a terrible name.’ It’s so discriminatory. It’s bad for Black people. It’s bad for everybody.”

Most Think Government Making Pandemic Worse
7:59 am EDT

A new Axios-Ipsos poll finds 60% of Americans think the federal government is making the coronavirus pandemic worse.

There’s a stark partisan divide: 74% of Republicans say the federal government is making things better, while 80% Democrats say the federal government is making things worse.

However, 68% of independents also say the government is making things worse.

Most Expect Quick Election Results
7:55 am

A new Axios-Ipsos poll finds 36% of Americans think we’ll know who won the presidential election on the night of Nov. 3, and 60% expect the winner to be announced within a couple of days.

“The gap between public expectations and what experts are warning — that it may take weeks — shows the risk of a national crisis over trust and acceptance of this year’s results, whether President Trump wins a second term or Joe Biden unseats him.”

Conventions Did Not Change Battlegrounds
6:54 am

Morning Consult: “Despite two weeks of party conventions and amid civil unrest prompted by the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wis., the state of the race between President Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden stands largely unchanged from its pre-convention numbers in some of the country’s most-contested states — with the notable exception of Arizona.”

In Arizona, Biden has pulled away from Trump and now leads 52% to 42%.

Trump Compares Police Shooting to Missing a Putt
6:50 am

President Trump told Fox News that the police officer who shot Jacob Blake in the back seven times last month was just having a bad day, like a golfer who misses a simple putt.

Said Trump: “Shooting the guy in the back many times, I mean, couldn’t you have done something different? Couldn’t you have wrestled him? But they choke. Just like in a golf tournament. They miss a three-foot putt.”

Minnesota Tightens
6:44 am

Politico: “Public surveys and internal polling by Democrats and Republicans alike in recent weeks has suggested the race is narrowing, though with Biden still ahead. In a sign of its increasingly competitive nature, Biden today will begin airing his first television ads in the state, in the Twin Cities as well as Duluth and Rochester markets. And last week, Biden included Minnesota in a list of battleground states he said he wants to visit — travel that suggests the state is far from a lock.”

Trump Fans Strife as Unrest Roils Country
6:38 am

“President Trump has been throwing accelerant on the fire of the nation’s social unrest rather than trying to put it out, seeking confrontation rather than calm at a volatile moment his advisers hope will help salvage his campaign for a second term,” the New York Times reports.

“Other presidents in times of tumult tried to settle down communities convulsed by racial and cultural divisions, but Mr. Trump has encouraged one side against another. He has threatened to deploy federal forces, condoned freelance actions by his own armed supporters, conflated peaceful protesters with violent rioters and used the strife to undercut his political opponents.

Federal Worker Taxes Deferred Under Trump’s Order
6:33 am EDT

“The U.S. government will implement an across-the-board payroll tax deferral for about 1.3 million federal employees starting in mid-September, potentially forcing these workers to take a temporary financial boost now that they will have to repay next year,” the Washington Post reports.

“The policy, confirmed Monday by a senior administration official, comes in response to a widely panned policy directive issued by President Trump earlier in August. Unions have sharply criticized the government’s decision, fearing federal workers may not have a choice in whether to take the deferral — resulting in them receiving smaller paychecks in 2021 until the past-due taxes are paid off.”

XiNN: enemy of the people...

During a White House press conference with the president, CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins asked Trump to condemn a group of his supporters who traveled to Portland for a counter-protest on Saturday night. Some of Trump’s supporters were reportedly firing paintball guns at protesters from their pickup trucks as leftists threw objects and debris at them. Aaron J. Danielson of Portland, identified as a Trump supporter, was shot dead during the clash between the different groups.

“That was a peaceful protest,” Trump said. “Paint is a defensive mechanism, paint is not bullets.”

“It’s a paintball gun, it’s a bullet,” Collins replied.

“Your supporters — they are your supporters indeed — shot a young gentleman and killed him,” Trump continued. “Not with paint but with a bullet. I think it is disgraceful.”
