They are now protesting the very people who are on their side?

BLM Group Demanding Defunding Of Police Heads To Alderman’s Home With Bullhorn…Around Midnight

Members of the Waukegan People’s Council issued their demands through a megaphone on the sidewalk in front of Moisio’s home starting around 11 p.m. and continuing until just after midnight amid what they described as a large police presence.

“The police were blocking off all areas of the neighborhood,” [organizer Kim] Davis said Tuesday. “When we got to the public area in front of his house, we started chanting and stating our demands on a megaphone. We saw someone looking between the curtains, but no one came out.”…

Colin Byers of Waukegan, another organizer, said the protesters did not feel they were getting a response from the council and Mayor Sam Cunningham, so they decided to stage a demonstration late at night to get more attention.

“Demonstrations are not meant to be convenient,” Byers said Tuesday, referring to the late hour of the event. “We were chanting, ‘No justice no sleep.‘”

These are the very liberal politicians who are actually on their side, but apparently they are not doing enough to push the cause (which is what now, anyways).  With a cause such as this, it's good to have friends in high places. When you start treating those friends like you are treating those you see as the enemy, you make enemies out of your friends....

Then what?

The Mayor in this case was less than happy with the situation, calling them no better than the "bully on the block"-  which is probably the best way to describe the entire BLM Antifa movement right now. They are simply bullies who either pick on those who are defenseless, or pick on law enforcement under the pretense that law enforcement has their hands tied and will not actually fight back.

With any bully, the key is always to stand up to them. If, for once, the police did their jobs as designed, actually fought back, squelched the protests, knocked around a few skulls, arrested the lawbreakers, and then received the support they deserve from politicians and prosecutors... this would end quickly.

Once these protesters lose the support of the local liberal politicians and to a lesser degree the national posers, they will be exposed for what they are.  They are not heroes fighting for a just cause, but a bunch of spoiled psychopaths who have been given every reason to believe that they are above the law.
