While it still looks as though more people support BLM than did prior to all of this, the amount of opposition is moving back towards the high water point after dropping down well below 30%. Just in the past 3-4 weeks about 10 percent of the country has turned against them, while support has dipped.
As more and more businesses get destroyed and as the protests in Portland, Seattle, and other places continue without provocation, the more and more I believe you will see people turn their back on the movement. It's one thing to support the "concept" of Black Lives Matter, but it's a whole other thing to support the tactics.
Right now we are hearing very little about the concepts of black lives matter and whole lot about their messed up, violent, mob-style, destructive tactics. If it continues much longer, look for these numbers to look worse for the movement.

FORT MILL, S.C. — A Charlotte man is charged with firing a gun near an Interstate 77 overpass in Fort Mill, where dozens of supporters of President Donald Trump were gathered Monday.
The crowd, which included children, was waving flags on the Sutton Road overpass. Others were driving in their cars back and forth across the bridge with Trump flags flying from their windows.
Witnesses told Channel 9′s South Carolina bureau reporter Greg Suskin someone in a red car screamed profanities before opening fire on the group as they drove along Sutton Road.
According to police, witnesses said three men drove by on the bridge several times yelling obscenities at them. They said as the vehicle turned on to the ramp to northbound I-77, the driver continued yelling before putting his arm out the window and firing several shots. The car then sped on to the interstate.

Authorities followed the driver and later found the shooter’s vehicle abandoned on Gold Hill Road and Deerfield Drive.
As they investigated, officers said they spotted someone who matched the shooter’s description in another car with two men. They stopped the car and questioned the men, which led to the arrest of 23-year-old Marquise Damarius Asomani. The two other men were released without charges.
Asomani was charged with six counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, one count of unlawful carrying of a pistol, one count of pointing and presenting firearms at a person and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.

Health officials in Texas have repeated calls for residents not to use bleach to treat or prevent Covid-19 after a spike in people ingesting harmful chemicals.

Jack Brewer, a member of Black Voices for Trump who spoke at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday, was charged with insider trading by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) earlier this month.
Brewer is a former National Football League player, who went on to work in financial services. The SEC alleges he sold 100,000 shares in a penny stock, because he had inside information that the company's share price was likely to drop. The charges, filed August 6, are civil - not criminal. The SEC is seeking financial penalties, a return of "all ill-gotten gains he received directly or indirectly," and a permanent ban on Brewer "from participating in any offering of a penny stock."

Four years ago, Erin Rosiello, a resident of the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio, voted for Donald Trump.
"But within weeks I was so sorry for my decision and have been kicking myself ever since," Rosiello told Insider.
In 2016, Rosiello was trying to start her own business and said she was convinced that the US needed "somebody with a good business sense" instead of a "lifelong politician" running the country. At the time she had also been diagnosed with lung cancer.
After the election, she had to undergo chemotherapy and a lobectomy. She said the Affordable Care Act, which Trump has pledged to get rid of, and the "little piece that's left (has) kept me alive."
"I still fear every day that he's going to pull the plug on ACA, which will take away preexisting coverage — which would cost me my life," Rosiello said.
