I double dog dare you to watch this video

Some points of fact:

  • Kyle Rittenhouse was a trained lifeguard with first aid training, and had been administering first aid all day.
  • Moments before the first shooting, Joseph Rosenbaum was committing arson by starting fires. Kyle Rittenhouse was on his way to the fire with a fire extinguisher when he was confronted, chased, and eventually cornered by Rosenbaum and at least two other individuals carrying baseball bats. A gun shot was fired and Rosenbaum charged at Rittenhouse just prior to being shot.
  • Moments before the second shooting, Rittenhouse was hit on the back of the head with the sharp edge of a skateboard and the person attempted to take the gun. Rittenhouse shot two warning shots into the air prior to shooting the person directly over him as he was being assaulted.
  • A third attacker Gaige Grosskreutz was carrying a pistol, which he aimed at Rittenhouse right before he was shot in the arm.

saw the video last night on tucker. self-defense all day long. how the DA filed 1st degree murder charges without first examining the evidence tells you everything you need to know about their motivation.

Nope... Murder is never okay.

But sometimes when put in certain deadly positions where your own life and safety is being imminently and violently threatened, a person must use force to get out of them.

obviously you didn't watch the video.

Either way, coming from a man who believes that assault, arson, destruction of property, and carrying a concealed weapon are all fine crimes to commit as long as you are part of antifa and rioting.

You have no credibility on anything anymore.

you have to be 18 to open or conceal carry a HANDGUN, milk cattle rancher.

Well Rog... that is fine and dandy.

But self defense applies when it appears "reasonably necessary to prevent an impending injury". It doesn't require "death".

So perhaps you want to explain why Rosenbaum and three people were chasing him with baseball bats or why Rosenbaum decided to charge him.

Or perhaps you want to explain what intention the guy had to hit Rittenhouse on the back of the head with the sharp side of a skateboard or why others were attempting to jump on him.

Lastly... maybe you can explain to me why Grosskruetz had a gun pointed at him?

Since you believe that none of these situations put Rittenhouse in danger of injury, bodily harm, or even death?

Did they just want his autograph or maybe shake his hand for washing graffiti or administering first aid all day?

What bothers me is that you keep trying to discredit the Black Lives Movement, and you justify criminal acts of murder conducted by a fellow right wing nutcase.

I understand different options on political issues. But you have closed your mind to non partisan questions. You say that disagreement with the President is TDS.

That's a kind of different reality.

Human beings have had this problem forever before.

Our founding fathers feared this situation. That's one reason why they limited executive power.

The appointment of William Barr is evidence, he has been supportive of the President, instead of his oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

So just to be clear... the three criminals (all convicted criminals) who were burning things down and rioting in the streets which means they are committing "more crimes" are the good guys.

The kid cleaning graffiti, administering first aid, and extinguishing fires is the "right wing nutcase".

Does that about sum up your opinion Roger?

I condemn the violence and property damage and looting.

But this is reminiscent of the civil rights movement, when violence and property damage and looting took place, the politicians used the same rhetoric to justify the civil rights movement.

Open carry of loaded handguns and long guns and knives is permitted without a license for adults over 18, or for minors 16 or older when carrying a long gun that doesn't violate WS 941.28.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_Wisconsin

941.28  Possession of short-barreled shotgun or short-barreled rifle.
(1)  In this section:
(a) “Rifle" means a firearm designed or redesigned, made or remade, and intended to be fired from the shoulder or hip and designed or redesigned and made or remade to use the energy of a propellant in a metallic cartridge to fire through a rifled barrel a single projectile for each pull of the trigger.
(b) “Short-barreled rifle" means a rifle having one or more barrels having a length of less than 16 inches measured from closed breech or bolt face to muzzle or a rifle having an overall length of less than 26 inches.
(c) “Short-barreled shotgun" means a shotgun having one or more barrels having a length of less than 18 inches measured from closed breech or bolt face to muzzle or a shotgun having an overall length of less than 26 inches.

Well Kyle Rittenhouse was videotaped during the day and interviewed doing just that. Had you ACTUALLY watched the video you would have known that. He was literally trying to help out the local businesses...

which included trying to put out the fire which led him to be being chased down.

And it was "YOU" who called him a "right wing nutcase".

So are you disavowing that he was a "right wing nutcase" or standing by your stead belief that attempting to assist in preventing a city from being destroyed is akin to "right wing" and that doing so makes you a "nutcase".

Well not really...

But then again, the idea of innocent black children being hung from trees while KKK members in white hoods were dancing around with torches...

Is a different motivation...

than criminals resisting arrest with enough Fentanyl in their system to kill three people or a criminal breaking his order of protection, sexually assaulting his girlfriend, and then attempting to drive off with his ex-girlfriends SUV...

Perhaps it takes a younger eye with more wits about them to see the difference?

The director attorney charged him with illegal possession of the AR 15

Which is an interesting logical dilemma, isn't it?

He is in possession "illegally" because he is not 18. But in order to be charged by the DA for that crime, he needs to be treated as an adult (which is to say he was acting as an adult at the time). But if he is legally being treated as an adult (18 or over) then he cannot be charged with illegal possession of a firearm for being a minor.

So it would appear that he either needs to be seen as a legal adult (which would make his weapon carrying legal) or he needs to be seen as a minor, in which case he will be charged in juvenile court, which of course can only hold him till he is 18 and then they (ahem) seal the record.

An interesting question... now that we see video of him flashing the gun, as well as his friend claiming that he should have shot him first...

It's hard to justify "not" charging him. Since he was the aggressor.

You can also use deadly force to protect your property. You don't have an obligation to retreat.

SIX DAYS AGO---
Eric Trump Will Testify, But After Election

(OR AT LEAST, THAT'S WHAT HE SAYS)

September 17, 2020

“Eric Trump, the president’s son, said that he is willing to be questioned by New York state investigators examining the Trump Organization’s financial practices — but not until after Election Day,” the Washington Post reports.

“Investigators from the New York Attorney General’s office have been seeking to interview Eric Trump since May, as part of an 18-month-long investigation into allegations that the Trump Organization improperly manipulated the value of its properties to obtain loans and tax benefits. Eric Trump worked on some of the key properties.”
__________

SO SOLLY, ERIC, BUT----

HERE'S WHAT THE COURT SAYS:

Eric Trump Ordered to Be Deposed

September 23, 2020

“A state judge on Wednesday ordered Eric Trump to be deposed no later than Oct. 7 in the New York attorney general’s examination of the Trump Organization’s financial practices, rejecting a protest by President Trump’s son who has said he is too busy to meet with investigators until after November’s election,” the Washington Post reports.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

In unguarded moments with senior aides, President Trump has maintained that Black Americans have mainly themselves to blame in their struggle for equality, hindered more by lack of initiative than societal impediments, according to current and former U.S. officials.

After phone calls with Jewish lawmakers, Trump has muttered that Jews “are only in it for themselves” and “stick together” in an ethnic allegiance that exceeds other loyalties, officials said.

Trump’s private musings about Hispanics match the vitriol he has displayed in public, and his antipathy to Africa is so ingrained that when first lady Melania Trump planned a 2018 trip to that continent he railed that he “could never understand why she would want to go there.”

When challenged on these views by subordinates, Trump has invariably responded with indignation. “He would say, ‘No one loves Black people more than me,’ ” a former senior White House official said. The protests rang hollow because if the president were truly guided by such sentiments he “wouldn’t need to say it,” the official said. “You let your actions speak.”

In Trump’s case, there is now a substantial record of his actions as president that have compounded the perceptions of racism created by his words.

Over 3½ years in office, he has presided over a sweeping U.S. government retreat from the front lines of civil rights, endangering decades of progress against voter suppression, housing discrimination and police misconduct.

His immigration policies hark back to quota systems of the 1920s that were influenced by the junk science of eugenics, and have involved enforcement practices — including the separation of small children from their families — that seemed designed to maximize trauma on Hispanic migrants.

With the election looming, the signaling behind even second-tier policy initiatives has been unambiguous.

After rolling back regulations designed to encourage affordable housing for minorities, Trump declared himself the champion of the “Suburban Lifestyle Dream.” He ordered aides to revamp racial sensitivity training at federal agencies so that it no longer refers to “White privilege.” In a speech at the National Archives on Thursday, Trump vowed to overhaul what children are taught in the nation’s schools — something only states have the power to do — while falsely claiming that students are being “fed lies about America being a wicked nation plagued by racism.”
