Conspiracy Theory II Wisconsin: So there are also questions about a high number of voters in Wisconsin, specifically in Dane county where the number of Biden votes actually exceeded the number of Clinton votes by a larger margin than the total excess votes. In other words, Biden had 42,460 more votes than Clinton got, while the county as a whole had an increase of 39,770. So more than 100% of the extra votes counted (over 2016) went to Biden. The buzz is that the turnout in this county was well over 90% (although I don't have figures on that) and had an enormous increase over 2016. This appears somewhat strange considering the relatively lower turnout in Milwaukee county which saw a modest 5% gain over 2016 and a much smaller gain for Biden there.
Now this may be little more than a huge get out the vote drive along with a shift in voter sentiment since 2016 in this county. But why did this seem to happen "only" in this particular county? That seems a little odd? The Demographics of Dane Country (Madison) is not really all that different than Milwaukee and of the two, we might have expected better gains in the latter.
Reality: if you take away the gains Biden made in this one county, then he loses the rest of the state by an amount pretty consistent with 2016. If you take away his gains in Dane and Milwaukee, the rest of the state appears to have become much more Trump. Conspiracy? Or just a demographic anomaly?
Update on the 138K Biden vote surge in Michigan: Apparently there was a time last night when the Joe Biden count just surged by 138,000 votes (with no updates to the Trump vote). Obviously this pushed the conspiracy buttons of a lot of people. Today this is being explained as a data error that was corrected, versus an actual influx of 138,000 ballots that were all somehow found and counted at the same time.
Hard to know what to make of this sort of "data error" in counting a Presidential election in a deciding state that is currently within 46,000 votes total. But as someone who works in the software industry, I might be inclined to ask a few more questions. I think we need something a little more specific about what created the "data error" and how it was "fixed", if for no other reason than to make sure it doesn't happen again.
It's not that I don't believe that this was likely what they say it is, but at the same time I think Americans should be given a little more than just "computer error" to explain this. Of course, Biden supporters no doubt are vigilantly uncurious about this, just as Trump supporters would be if the 138,000 popped up on his count. But if it was Trump who appeared to benefit from a "data error" and Biden was now losing Michigan, the exact opposite reaction would be taking place.
Update on Georgia: The claims are that they are having an issue with the counting of approximately 80,000 mail in ballots that were part of the water pipe break situation in Gwinnett county. There is no actual indication how many of these are affected or how many are still left to count (their reports show 100% reported and they are already 75K votes ahead of 2016 pace). This, along with what appears to be between 15,000-20,000 possible ballots left to count in Fulton appears to be the hold up. The problem is that currently Trump leads by over 100,000 in Georgia and was winning over 40% in Gwinnett county. It doesn't appear to be enough to push Biden past Trump (regardless of what the NYT needle suggests).
It might affect whether or not Perdue can stay over 50%... although he appears to be running ahead of Trump (Perdue leads by about 190,000) and has about a 75,000-80,000 vote cushion to avoid a runoff.
Update: If there are more votes to count in North Carolina and Georgia, why at almost 10:00 AM their time have they not reported anything new? Why is this important? Because as it stands, Thom Tillis is leading Cal Cunningham in North Carolina by nearly two points and David Perdue is currently at 50.8% (which would avoid the runoff). If those two seats hold, and Collins holds on (she leads by about 64K votes), then the GOP shuts down the Democrat's chances to take back the Senate.
Not a joke folks... 270-268 Biden might be the most realistic scenario right now
Unless my math is wrong, if Biden holds on in Arizona, Nevada, and Wisconsin, that gives him 253. If he comes through in Michigan, that brings him to 269. He now shows winning the Nebraska Congressional ECV, which means he gets to 270 without winning Pennsylvania, Georgia, or North Carolina.
He needs to hold on in Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, and overtake Trump in Michigan, which seems more likely than not at this point as Trump's lead has all but vanished. In fact, Michigan might not end up all that close if what is left to be counted is what it appears to be.
There were times last night where I was thinking this was Trump's to lose, but I always questioned this particular scenario (where Trump loses by one ECV because of Nebraska). I would have loved to see a 269-269 ECV tie. That would have been soooo 2020.
Where I got my personal predictions wrong was in Arizona, where Trump had moved the polls back to his favor, but underperformed. I honestly didn't see Trump underperforming any polling and it appears that Arizona will be the only place he did. I argued that if he won any of those close states (Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Iowa, and Arizona) that he would win them all. But alas, it looks like Arizona might put a wrench in things. Had I been right, we would be sitting around for days waiting for Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia to call.
I am not 100% sure what is going on in North Carolina and Georgia. There doesn't seem to be enough votes left anywhere to have not made these calls. But there seems to be a belief by some that there are still many votes to count, even as most every county shows themselves at 100% (and big Biden counties have effectively already matched 2016 totals plus). So who knows at this point what to believe. If there are really hundreds of thousands of votes left to count, then the transparency regarding where those votes are from is a problem.
Either way... as it stands, I am guessing that Joe Biden will be declared winner sometime later today as it becomes apparent that he has 270. He may not get another state, but at that point who cares. I am sure Biden will take a two ECV victory after last night.
Trump will likely fight the results in court, just as Biden would have had he lost. But I don't see any real case at this point for either side, unless there are circumstances that have yet to appear. But if I am correct, Trump will not be close enough in any state to make any challenge stick. He might be better off just riding off into the sunset. Something Democrats have failed to do in any of the elections that they have lost in recent history.
_______
Good news for Republicans is that they probably hold the Senate. I say probably, because it's not a done deal. Jodi Ernst won her race in Iowa, as did Steve Daines in Montana. Thom Tillis appears to have held on in North Carolina (Tillis had declared victory, although it is not called right now), Susan Collins is outperforming Trump by wide margins in Maine and looks to be hanging on there. It's even possible that John James takes Michigan for another GOP pickup offsetting the two Democrat pick ups. Which would leave one or two possible run-offs in Georgia, where the GOP should be favored Currently Perdue is over 50% - but again, there is that odd issue where Georgia doesn't appear to have any more votes to count, but are still not calling it. It's certainly not impossible that Democrats could still make it to 50 seats, but they would need to run a very unlikely table of events.
There wasn't much on the Governor front, but the GOP did manage to pick up one seat and hang on where they needed to. It also looks like the Republicans unexpectedly picked up seats in the House.
So whatever nonsense the Democrats had slated for a massive overhaul of our country (adding states, packing the Supreme Court, etc...) looks like that will have to wait. When you take a look at the overall closeness of this election (which was expected to be a blowout) - it tells you that this is a country is not ready to fall down into that liberal rabbit hole.

Yep they stopped counting so they could find "ballots"
It's now fraud vs Supreme Court.
We'll see who wins.
Polls were garbage.
As is our election "process"
Shameful
All legitimate votes should count. Not fraudulent ones.
And results should be quicker each election, not slower...

When did we stop counting votes on election night ?
How is it really possible that over 100,000 Biden ballots in Michigan are found while everyone was sleeping?
The 2016 coup continues...
Also now Fox hires a Democrat operative to call elections and somehow he couldn't call Florida until hours after it was obvious and called Arizona when it is still in doubt...
Slow calling every Trump victory and calling Bidens at warp speed. Like they wanted to create a narrative that Biden was ahead all night. Like the asinine polls.
Along with Brazile, Wallace and Williams their election coverage was atrocious. Even Baier was a joke.

Trump’s Attempt to Subvert the Election Is a Grave Threat
November 4, 2020 at 8:51 am EST By Taegan Goddard 86 Comments
Dan Balz:
“For four years, President Trump has sought to undermine the institutions of a democratic society, but never so blatantly as in the early morning hours of Wednesday. His attempt to falsely claim victory and to subvert the election itself by calling for a halt to vote-counting represents the gravest of threats to the stability of the country.
“Millions of votes remain to be counted, votes cast legally under the laws of the states. Until they are all counted, the outcome of the election remains in doubt. Either he or former vice president Joe Biden could win an electoral college majority, but neither has yet done so, no matter what he says. Those are the facts, for which the president shows no respect.
“A president who respected the Constitution would let things play out.”
Jim VandeHei:
“Now, whatever the resolution, close to half the country is going to feel robbed. Many of them will be angry, and will refuse to accept the winner as the legit president of all the people.”
Suddenly, all the Democrat-run swing states need to stop counting ballots for awhile
Is the U.S. on track to see its first election utterly stolen in front of its eyes? The way Venezuela's Hugo Chavez used to do it in the face of huge, huge enthusiastic crowds protesting against him back in Caracas?
How else to explain strange doings like these?
Michigan, too, needs some extra time to count the ballots. And so does North Carolina. And so do all of the states where Trump was running ahead -- Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan... The counting suddenly shut down. Arizona went down a suspicious 90 minutes before the announcement that the state had flipped to Biden.
In the past, every state counted their ballots and announced them well before sun-up. That's how elections have always been done. And most states did do it that way, producing the expected Trump victories, the votes for a booming economy against an old doddering, extremely corrupt, and tax-hike promising candidate who can't attract two dozen people to a crowd. All signs in fact, showed a wave of Republican victories, from gas prices below $3 a gallon to forecasts from always-right prognosticators.
For the Democratic swing states the early vote totals were just the heads up on what it would take to swing the election from their side toward Biden. If Trump was ahead in their states, too, same as Florida, all of a sudden, they needed ... time.
Time alone with the ballots, away from prying eyes, so that what they bring forth would, coincidentally of course, be a slew of all Biden ballots in every single case. Funny how the urban areas, closest to population centers that ordinarily vote blue, always get counted last. Easy to duplicate the ballots when they all vote alike.
Thomas Lifson noted that in Pennsylvania's case, they were caught on record as saying they wanted to keep the observers out. Hugo Chavez kept observers out, too, having Jimmy Carter to vouch for him. The Carter Center's report of Chavez's first likely stolen election, the recall referendum of 2004, proclaimed that all was free and fair ... with the minor exception of "what went on in the totalization room." It was like mostly peaceful riots, see.
Any questions as to why Trump in Florida won the Venezuelan-American vote?
Chavez used electronic voting machines to enact his electoral fraud, flipping numbers electronically. But he is far from the only comparison.
In California, ballot harvestors went to voters' homes, letting them know they knew where they lived, and then "helped" them fill out their ballots, turning in ballots and turning in ballots, well after the election until they got the result they wanted. Now we see the phenomenon of normal states counting and announcing their results and Democrat-run swing states using that information to calculate how much they would be needing to cancel it out.
It's scary stuff, and obviously, President Trump is going to take it to the courts. There ought to be new elections ordered with bipartisan observation and absolute transparency, based on this utterly suspicious pattern of behavior in these states. Suddenly stopping the counting while Trump was ahead, and needing "time" stinks of voter fraud and stolen elections on a very wide and scary scale.

SPENGLER
The Good News Is That Biden Is Screwed, Even if He Wins
BY DAVID P. GOLDMAN NOV 04, 2020
My gut says that Donald Trump will snatch victory from the jaws of the pollsters. A great deal hangs on Pennsylvania, where Trump now leads by 600,000 but where 1.7 million mail-in ballots remain to be counted. There’s a 2:1 ratio of registered Democrats to registered Republicans among mail-in voters, and the pundits are saying that this will cancel out Trump’s lead. What they don’t consider is that a lot of registered Democrats in Pennsylvania will vote for Trump. Of course, getting the ballots counted fairly is a non-trivial problem.
Politico.com’s headline this morning reads, “Biden looks screwed even if he wins.” The Republicans kept a Senate majority and reduced the Democratic majority in the House. If Biden squeaks by, he will have no popular mandate, no Senate, and no help from the Supreme Court. He won’t be able to pass tax increases, big changes in health care, or his Green New Deal boondoggles. He will have the same headaches confirming his favorite nominees as Trump did, and worse, as a Republican Senate casts a jaundiced eye at Biden’s supporting cast.
The good news is that the
That can’t be done in Washington. Whoever does that must be destroyed. And so the CIA and Deep State operatives became heroes of the liberal Left…They are now in a full union with the neo-cons, the Bush-Cheney operatives, the CIA, Silicon Valley and Wall Street.
Fifty former top intelligence officials published a manifesto on October 19 to denounce the Biden emails as a “Russian information operation.” They said: “We write to say that the arrival on the US political scene of emails purportedly belonging to Vice President Biden’s son Hunter, much of it related to his time serving on the Board of the Ukrainian company Burisma, has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
The mainstream media spiked the political story of the year at the diktat of the spook establishment — perhaps the scariest thing that ever has happened in American political history. If the Deep State can do this sort of damage when it is out of power, I shudder to think what they will do if and when Biden brings them back into power.
That’s why the White House is critical. It’s the Deep State vs. the American republic. But even if Biden squeaks through, the Republican Senate and the Supreme Court provide constitutional bulwarks against the Democratic cabal. We will live to fight another day and win another presidential election

President Trump’s campaign said Wednesday it would request a recount in the state of Wisconsin, where Democratic nominee Joe Biden currently has a razor-thin lead.
“There have been reports of irregularities in several Wisconsin counties which raise serious doubts about the validity of the results. The President is well within the threshold to request a recount and we will immediately do so,” Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien said in a statement.
Biden was up by a little more than 20,000 votes in Wisconsin on Wednesday morning. No networks have called the state for Biden yet.
Wisconsin offers 10 electoral votes, which could prove crucial to either candidate. Trump won the state by less than 1 percentage point in 2016 and Biden has pushed to return the state to the blue category this year.
There are not automatic recounts in Wisconsin, but a candidate who is within 1 percent of the winner can request one.
The recount would not occur until next week.

Joe Biden did win seniors, but by just one point (48% Trump/49% Biden).

Joe Pompeo:
“It was around 2:30 a.m. when all hell broke loose. That’s when President Donald Trump did the unhinged, dangerous, Democracy-destabilizing thing that we all hoped we wouldn’t have to see him do, giving a speech at the White House in which he prematurely declared victory even as millions upon millions of legitimate votes were still being counted. The goal, in all of its authoritarian bluster, was to get out in front of a result that might not land in his favor. The Real Polling Catastrophe
11:46 am
David Graham:
“Surveys badly missed the results, predicting an easy win for former Vice President Joe Biden, a Democratic pick-up in the Senate, and gains for the party in the House. Instead, the presidential election is still too close to call, Republicans seem poised to hold the Senate, and the Democratic edge in the House is likely to shrink.
“This is a disaster for the polling industry and for media outlets and analysts that package and interpret the polls for public consumption, like FiveThirtyEight, The New York Times’ Upshot, and The Economist’s election unit. They now face serious existential questions. But the greatest problem posed by the polling crisis is not in the presidential election, where the snapshots provided by polling are ultimately measured against an actual tally of votes: As the political cliche goes, the only poll that matters is on Election Day.
“The real catastrophe is that the failure of the polls leaves Americans with no reliable way to understand what we as a people think outside of elections—which in turn threatens our ability to make choices, or to cohere as a nation.”

“This isn’t law, this isn’t politics, this is theater. And let’s be blunt: it’s the theater of authoritarianism.”

WASHINGTON POST:
Trump Vows Legal Challenges In Close Races
1:27 pm
“Razor-thin vote margins in a half-dozen presidential battleground states are raising the stakes for legal fights over which ballots will count, a strategy that President Trump’s campaign vowed Wednesday to aggressively pursue.
“Legal experts noted that Trump cannot simply seek the Supreme Court’s intervention in the election and stop the counting of ballots, as he said early Wednesday that he intended to do.
“But with pivotal states such as Nevada, Michigan and Wisconsin still too close to call Wednesday morning, lawyers on both sides were gearing up for litigation — particularly over mail ballots.”
________
Over legal mail ballots?
USPS data shows thousands of mailed ballots missed Election Day deadlines
The Postal Service ignored a federal judge’s order to sweep processing plants on Tuesday after more than 300,000 scanned ballots could not be traced.
Someone should be investigated.

Trumpism is going to cause the Republicans to desert the small government, low regulations, and stand up against dictators like they did during the cold war.

DETROIT – The Trump campaign said it filed a lawsuit Wednesday that seeks to stop the counting of ballots in Michigan, despite the vast majority of votes already being unofficially reported by local clerks.
The lawsuit comes as Democratic challenger Joe Biden leads President Donald Trump by approximately 46,000 votes, with 96% of the estimated vote count already tallied. While thousands of votes still need to be counted, many are from absentee ballots in traditionally Democratic strongholds.
Voter suppression is unconstitutional.

I just spoke to the Antrim clerk's office. They are reviewing these numbers, said there are discrepancies. It certainly seems likely the numbers were transposed . Trump and John James will see a ~6,000+ vote gain statewide once this is corrected. This is a staunchly GOP county.

The truthers don't understand why we vote.
Our basic right is to choose our leaders.
You idiots hate it if they lose the election, they try to destroy the American dream.
This election is being counted now.
The latest …
Georgia — Trump’s lead narrows to roughly 83,000 Wednesday afternoon as the state’s most populous and Democratic counties tally their remaining votes.
Michigan — A Michigan official said unofficial election results are expected “within the next 24 hours,” with about 100,000 ballots left to count.
Nevada — Counting of remaining mail and provisional ballots is underway, and updated vote totals will not be released until noon Eastern on Thursday.
North Carolina — Most outstanding mail-in ballots are in the state’s biggest counties, Wake and Mecklenburg. They have until Nov. 12 to arrive, if postmarked by Nov. 3.
Pennsylvania — More than 1 million ballots were still to be counted as of 2:30 p.m., when counting was set to resume in parts of the state.
Funny that these errors never happen Trump's favor.
You believe a highly partisan person
Right wing nutcase people are standing outside of a ballot counting complex in Detroit are shouting Stop The Count!
This is like Nazi Germany.
The mail ballots favor Biden
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., a Trump ally who usually avoids criticizing the president in public, told reporters Wednesday that "claiming you've won the election is different from finishing the counting."
With millions of votes still uncounted, Trump in a 2:35 a.m. Wednesday speech at the White House baselessly claimed he had defeated Democrat Joe Biden and alleged "major fraud on our nation" as election officials work through a massive surge in mail-in ballots, which they had long warned would take extra time to count. The president called for a halt in "all voting."
LATEST RESULTS: See the latest results in the presidential race
"There's just no basis to make that argument tonight," former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said on ABC News. "There just isn't. All these votes have to be counted that are in now."
More proof
In addition to the large cities, eyes were also Northern Michigan's Antrim County, which has about 23,000 residents. It declined to release its unofficial election results Wednesday morning as county officials reviewed a "discrepancy" in the numbers, said Micki Hocking, the county's deputy clerk.
We are hoping to know by this afternoon," Hocking said.
In 2016, the county voted 62% to 33% for Donald Trump. That was about 8,469 votes for the Republican. However, on Wednesday, Republicans on social media were sharing images of unofficial results out of the county that showed Biden winning the county with 62% support.
Hocking said there was a discrepancy between the results reported to the county and the reported election results.
Fake news robotics are all you have.
Biden only needs 33 more electoral college votes to be the next President
So says the idiot that believed a blue wave tsunami was headed this way.

Trump Unlikely to Win Election In Court

Biden Campaign Gears Up for Legal Warfare
6:34 am
Politico:
“Biden’s team activated teams of attorneys in Nevada, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan in preparation for court battles, and blasted out requests for donations to combat myriad legal challenges.
“The campaign is gearing up for an onslaught of court challenges. The campaign told donors it expected Arizona to be called for Biden Wednesday evening — the Associated Press has already done so — and Nevada on Thursday morning. They warned that vote counting in Georgia, Pennsylvania and North Carolina would take time.
“As Wednesday wore on, Trump advisers privately acknowledged they had all but given up on Michigan and Wisconsin and were pinning their hopes in Arizona and Pennsylvania. They also said they were nervously eyeing Georgia, a state where Trump’s lead has narrowed as votes from Atlanta have come in.”
