In a speech in October on the ‘Fight against Separatism’, Macron warned against leaving ‘the intellectual debate to others’ as he cautioned of the ‘certain social science theories entirely imported from the United States’.
His education minister Jean-Michel Blanquer also warned in October that there is a ‘battle to wage against an intellectual matrix from American universities’. Some French intellects have also argued that American universities are to blame for giving justification to acts of terrorism carried out by Muslims.
After three Islamist terror attacks last fall, Education minister Blanquer accused the universities of being complicit.
He was supported in an open letter from 100 prominent scholars that blasted social theories ‘transferred from North American campuses’.
One of the signatories, Gilles Kepel, argued that American influence led to ‘a sort of prohibition in universities to think about the phenomenon of political Islam in the name of a leftist ideology that considers it the religion of the underprivileged.’
During a time when our Democratic leadership is trying to blame the actions of some people on the words of a President (who quite literally said the opposite of what was done), it's ironic that other parts of the world are now recognizing that American indoctrination of many of these liberal ideals is a threat and possibly being used by radicals to justify violence.
The bigger problem here, quite obviously, is that the very people who are pushing the indoctrination of these liberal ideals actually have no issue what-so-ever with them being used to justify violence. In fact, according to most liberals, the mere comparison to the riots on the capital building to the rioting this summer is incomprehensible, for the very reason that "some violence" is actually justified and just. In this case, the idea that people are upset over "racial inequalities" makes it perfectly acceptable to burn down buildings and attack police officers.
This is just a difference of opinion where the rest of the world used to tend to agree with American liberals over American conservatives. But as our own liberals keep pushing the outer limits of appropriate activism, they are becoming well left of the rest of the world to the point where American liberals are fast becoming the isolated ones in their arguments. When you are too far left for far left Europe, then something is wrong.

Oh? Then why he was just so incredibly DELIGHTED when the first televised reports of the storming of the Capitol began to appear?
It was only when the reaction all across America began to come in that he realized he had better listen to his upset advisers and try to call his supporters back from acts of violence -- far, far, far too late.
Fight for Trump! Hang Mike Pence!
F..k the blue! Traitors!
Where're they counting the votes?
My theory is that a lot of this is being fueled by China and on the internet Chinese "bots"
And they fuel the cancel culture and policies like the Paris accord which cripples America and leaves Chin alone to capture world dominance. I saw Biden had another EO dealing with allowing Chinese indoctrination to continue in US schools, I forget the particulars.
I've also heard they've been involved in BLM, anything to disrupt and hurt the US.
So the country carrying out genocide is now lecturing America, and controlling the WHO and United Nations Human Rights for starters.....
And I'm not convinced they didn't interfere with the 2020 election. They sure got the result that they, Russia and Iran wanted

BREAKING: Ethics watchdog National Legal & Policy Center calls on Senate to censure Sen. Chuck Schumer for inciting violence while threatening Supreme Court Justices Gorsuch & Kavanaugh last March. "You won’t know what hit you!" he shouted as a crowd of leftist activists cheered
Yeah Schumer didn't say anything about being peaceful and patriotic which the House dems conveniently edited out.
That is spreading misinformation isn't it ?

You will do anything, to prove Donald Trump is innocence.
For the last five years, you have been his defense attorney.
Defense attorneys are required to provide reasonable doubt.
Unfortunately, you are a terrible lawyer.
You look as incompetent as his lawyers, yesterday afternoon.
LMAO
The house prosecutor said that the President directed them to invade the Capitol building.
He can say the moon is made of cream cheese. That doesn't make it true.

Exactly. Look at Schiff and all his lies. Ignorant dems always fall for it and there is no recourse so they continue doing it.
Defense attorneys are required to provide reasonable doubt.
Actually a defense attorney is not "required" to do anything.
The charged person starts off with the assumption of innocence.
The prosecution must prove their case beyond reasonable doubt.
If the prosecution fails to prove their case, then the defense attorneys can sit back and do absolutely nothing and still prevail.
Why is it, Roger... that you continue to be so wrong on fact?
Is it perhaps that a factual argument simply doesn't work for you?
Oh, and it also makes a sound bite for the FAKE NEWS media to spread.
Misinformation.
A regular tactic
Why is it, Roger... that you continue to be so wrong on fact?
The alky has taken so many *WAP* rakes to the face I'm surprised he's still conscious.

that's nice counselor alky.
only one problem -
that doesn't make it true.
the House has already admitted their biases by declaring Trump guilty on Jan 7th.
everything they say from that point forward can be assumed to have no basis in fact.
WAP!!!
you're up to around 5 rakes on this thread alone.
Well Rat...
In Roger's world... a defendant is guilty until the defense attorney proves his reasonable doubt. Moreover, he demands that I am a "bad attorney" for arguing differently even though I am not even an attorney?
This is the sort of place where he starts his arguments from.

If you are not familiar with it look up dunning kruger effect. I ran across it reading "The Biggest Bluff" by Maria Konnikova and it applies to roger to a "t".
Very good book if you have any interest in gambling and the people side of playing poker.
"Why is it, Roger... that you continue to be so wrong on fact?"
Because he does know squat.
The defense attorney is supposed to provide a reasonable doubt.
Scott lame lawyer

The house prosecutor said that the President's own words incited them to invade the Capitol building and commit an Insurrection. His December 19th tweet solidified the case against Trump.

Rep Raskin says Trump promoted the “big lie” that the election was stolen but didn’t Raskin promote the “big lie” that Trump stole the election in 2016? Wasn’t it Jamie Raskin who ‘incited violence’ by objecting to Trump electors?
Actually 2016 was a HOAX and 2020 was a theft

wrong again, alky.
a defense attorney makes a case and presents evidence in favor of their client. they do not "provide" reasonable doubt.
how many fucking times do you need this explained?
do you own stock in a rake factory or something?
according to the ABA, these are the standards, functions and duties of a defense counsel.
"providing reasonable doubt" is not one of them..
"WAP!!!"
Tell us Roger the legal genius.
Where are you finding the legal concept that the burden is on the defense? Because every other legal opinions tells us that it's on the prosecution.
The presumption of innocence is the legal principle that one is considered "innocent until proven guilty". In many countries, the presumption of innocence is a legal right of the accused in a criminal trial, and it is an international human right under the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 11. Under the presumption of innocence, the legal burden of proof is thus on the prosecution, which must present compelling evidence to the trier of fact (a judge or a jury). The prosecution must in most cases prove that the accused is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If reasonable doubt remains, the accused must be acquitted.

hopefully the Sec. 320 work the alky is doing for facebook and twitter is pro bono, because if it isn't they're getting screwed.
From Cornell law
presumption of innocence
n. a fundamental protection for a person accused of a crime, which requires the prosecution to prove its case against the defendant beyond a reasonable doubt. This is opposite from the criminal law in many countries, where the accused is considered guilty until he/she proves his/her innocence or the government completely fails to prove its case.

So Roger disagrees with that is taught at law schools as well.
The house prosecutor said that the President's own words incited them to invade the Capitol building and commit an Insurrection. His December 19th tweet solidified the case against Trump.
well then the burden of reasonable doubt has been met and the democrats will have absolutely no problem securing a conviction, right alky?
"WAP!!!"
LOL.
So Roger disagrees with that is taught at law schools as well.
the alky feels that the legal standards of Iran should apply to the Trump impeachment, where the accused is always guilty, and they publicly hang them from a fucking crane.
Some of these rake stomps need to be elevated from “WAP” to “THWAP”
