An obvious attempt to single out businesses for cancel culture...

Former Fed Prosecutor Seeks Pledge From “Every Business In America” That 2020 Election Was “Accurate”
A former federal prosecutor, Glenn Kirschner, has launched a campaign to force “every business in America” to take a pledge that states, in part, that “The 2020 presidential election was free and fair, and produced accurate, reliable results.”
“The final piece asks companiis to ‘not support, donate to or endorse politicians, political campaigns or political action committees that promoted false conspiracy theories surrounding the 2020 presidential elections (or otherwise acted in ways contrary to a representative democracy)’.”

The irony to this is that there have been several court rulings in the ongoing election legal saga that is pointing to issues with the election. In three separate states (Michigan being one), executive orders regarding mail in ballots and other changes were ruled illegal and election officials have been ordered to no longer follow them in upcoming elections. Two other states (Georgia being one of them) have been ordered to audit mail in ballots in certain counties. Arizona is actually planning to recount the entire Maricopa county by hand.

This is the inherent problem with the Presidential election, safe harbor, and inaugurations dates. While we can litigate individual House or Senate seats till the end of time, there is almost zero time to litigate a Presidential election in comparison. These court rulings would have needed to be made in some cases prior to the election and in other cases within the first week to ten days after. But that is not how our legal system works as it pertains to Presidential elections. As it works, we end up having to look at may of these things retrospectively when it no longer matters. At this point many of the original arguments made by Trump and his team have been successful, but way too late to make any difference.

While none of this proves that the election was stolen or that Joe Biden didn't win, it certainly does not back the narrative that everything was 100% fair and accurate and that everyone needs to accept the results as reliable. You cannot "force" people to fall in line with a belief that they do not hold. Well you can try, but if you attempt to do so you are in league with Nazi Germany, Putin's Russia, modern day China, and other oppressive societies who practice the policing of opinion and thought to protect the dictators in charge. That is not America or at least it never was.

In the aftermath of the pro-Trump riots that left five dead at the United States Capitol, Republicans have focused on the real problem: cancel culture. Citing the president’s removal from just about every social media app in existence and the scores of companies announcing they would no longer do business with Donald Trump or his family, Eric Trump blamed the left. “We live in the age of cancel culture, but this isn’t something that started this week,” he said. “It is something that they have been doing to us and others for years.”

This fascination with the Insurrection on January 6th is getting worse.

Destroying trust in the media, science, and government has left America vulnerable to disasterMarc Hetherington and Jonathan M. LaddFriday, May 1, 2020

For America to minimize the damage from the current pandemic, the media must inform, science must innovate, and our government must administer like never before. Yet decades of politically-motivated attacks discrediting all three institutions, taken to a new level by President Trump, leave the American public in a vulnerable position.

Trump has consistently vilified the national media. When campaigning, he called the media “absolute scum” and “totally dishonest people.” As president, he has called news organizations “fake news” and “the enemy of the people” over and over. The examples are endless. Predictably, he has blamed the coronavirus crisis on the media, saying “We were very prepared. The only thing we weren’t prepared for was the media.”

Science has been another Trump target. He has gutted scientific expertise and administrative capacity in the executive branch, most notably failing to fill hundreds of vacancies in the Centers for Disease Control itself and disbanding the National Security Council’s taskforce on pandemics. During the coronavirus crisis, he has routinely disagreed with scientific experts, including, in the AP’s words, his “musing about injecting disinfectants into people [to treat COVID-19].” This follows his earlier public advocacy for hydroxychloroquine as a COVID-19 treatment, also against leading scientists’ advice. Coupled with his flip-flopping on when to lift stay-at-home orders, the president has created confusion and endangered people.

Finally, President Trump has consistently demeaned essential government agencies, labeling them part of a “deep state,” such as when he “joked” about what he called “The Deep State Department.” Not surprisingly, he ignored another part of the supposed “deep state”—the intelligence community. Greg Miller and Ellen Nakashima reported in the Washington Post that Trump ignored repeated warnings about COVID-19 in his presidential daily brief in January and February.

That is not America it was during the previous four years.

Sleepy Joe, listens to the scientists and medical experts, instead of follow only his uneducated Manipulative mind.

In the aftermath of the summer riots that left dozens dead and hundreds injured... perhaps we should look at suppressing any concept of BLM or the "conspiracy" that George Floyd was murdered...

You know... as not to attract any more violence?

But I guess when there is an event or a belief that causes people to rise up, we need to embrace the violence and beliefs behind it in some cases. While we censor and cancel it in other cases?

I wonder how long the left will attempt to "milk" the one riot that was not BLM, Antifa, or otherwise 100% pushed by liberal activists... as if it was the only riot that mattered or was dangerous.

WASHINGTON — The Biden administration is taking the unusual step of making a public accounting of the Trump administration’s political interference in science, drawing up a list of dozens of regulatory decisions that may have been warped by political interference in objective research.

The effort could buttress efforts to unwind pro-business regulations of the past four years, while uplifting science staff battered by four years of disregard. It is particularly explicit at the Environmental Protection Agency, where President Biden’s political appointees said they felt that an honest accounting of past problems was necessary to assure career scientists that their findings would no longer be buried or manipulated.

The United States is coming back from Trumpism stage four brain cancer.

More evidence the Donks are hellbent on destroying the economy

Republican lawmakers are raising concerns that provisions in the sweeping climate bill from top House Democrats would stifle the plastics industry.

One late addition to the nearly 1,000-page piece of legislation, known as the CLEAN Future Act, is meant to curb greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution emitted from the petrochemical facilities that produce plastics or the raw materials used to make plastics.

Most significantly, the bill would impose a temporary pause on air pollution permits needed for approval of new plastics production facilities.

The legislation also directs the Environmental Protection Agency to issue new greenhouse gas and air pollution controls for these facilities within three years, including requiring plastics production plants to use zero-emissions power and improve emissions monitoring.

The EPA regulations must also require any permit for a plastics production facility to be accompanied by an “environmental justice assessment,” which would include consulting with the people who live in the region where the facility would be located, according to the bill.

Several Republicans, during a legislative hearing on the bill Thursday, argued it would dampen the plastics industry at a time when the pandemic exposed a need for more plastic materials for personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves.

Rep. David McKinley, a West Virginia Republican, asked whether the Democrats’ bill would preclude the opening of new facilities such as an under-construction ethane cracker plant being built by Shell near Pittsburgh or a similar plant planned for eastern Ohio.

“Yes, I believe that language would jeopardize future investment into those types of facilities,” said Kevin Sunday, director of government affairs for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, in response to McKinley’s question.

Sunday added that beyond PPE, plastics are also used to weatherize homes and can be found in automotive devices, recreational equipment, and even components used to transport and store the coronavirus vaccines.

Especially in natural gas-rich Appalachia, policymakers have seen plastics production facilities as a way to utilize excess gas and create jobs in a region already suffering economically from the decline of coal power. Former President Donald Trump had touted the endeavor, personally touring the Shell plant in 2019 to draw attention to the project.

This week, Shell said it expects its multibillion-dollar facility outside of Pittsburgh to complete construction next year and estimates it will create 600 permanent jobs.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a Texas Republican, questioned whether the provisions targeting plastics production would have any measurable benefit on curbing emissions or reducing plastic waste in the oceans.

“I take that cotton bag to Whole Foods, I do, but I know it’s virtue-signaling,” Crenshaw said during the hearing. He suggested that the bulk of the plastics waste in the oceans can be traced back to Asian countries and that the United States isn’t as big a piece of the problem.

The Pinocchio Test
Sleepy Joe Biden said the 1994 law brought down mass killings. The biggest hurdle for him is that correlation does not necessarily equal causation. But Biden also was careful to cite both the ban on assault weapons and large-capacity magazines — and new research increasingly supports the idea that restrictions on LCMs were effective in reducing the death toll when the law was in effect.
Moreover, recent research also supports the contention that mass shootings have increased since the law expired. What once was a hunch, unsupported by rigorous research, has now been largely confirmed. Biden did not say that, but it helps bolster the case that the law was more effective than originally understood.
If Biden had suggested the decrease in shootings was large, as Clinton did two years ago, he might have been in line for at least One Pinocchio. But we will leave this unrated. The body of research now increasingly suggests the 1994 law was effective in reducing mass-shooting deaths.

We need to ban IP militarily weapons.

The act of sedition may be used on the Capitol building Insurrection.

A man accused of being a leader of a paramilitary group called the Oath Keepers was in contact with similar groups, including the Proud Boys, as early as mid-December to plan for potentially violent action in Washington on Jan. 6, according to a newly filed court document.

It was the first suggestion by the government that members of extremist groups were in touch with one another before arriving in Washington.

The allegation came in a Department of Justice memo opposing the pretrial release of Kelly Meggs of Florida. Prosecutors said he is one of 10 members of the Oath Keepers who played a leading role in the Capitol assault. Investigators have repeatedly said that members of both groups were among those who first breached the police lines around the Capitol and who first smashed their way into the building.

In the latest submission, prosecutors said Meggs "plotted with his co-conspirators to stop the certification of the Electoral College vote, prepared to use violence if necessary, and stormed the Capitol."

Not one faces a violent crime. No one attacked an officer, had a weapon, or vandalized any property. Their “conspiracy” was text chatter and travel plans. The alleged leader didn’t even enter the building. Why? He’s a 66-yo disabled veteran who can barely move. Thomas Caldwell...

suffers many “service-related” injuries. He’s a former Naval commander, not a terrorist. While our border explodes, the Biden Administration keeps criminalizing political protests and incarcerating nonviolent Americans. Read more here:

So Roger...

The family got the information from the doctor. Are you claiming that the doctors could not accurately identify a stroke or otherwise lied to the family?

95 out of a 100 times when someone dies in a Hospital, the doctors on staff sign the death certificate and provide the reason for death. Only a small percentage of overall deaths will have an autopsy performed. Most of those are because there was no doctor around at time of death, because the family requests one, or because there was otherwise "suspicious" reasons for it.

At this point there is quite literally no reason to believe that the autopsy actually says anything differently than what the doctors found. Strokes and Heart attacks are not difficult things for Doctors on site to determine. This was not a mystery death, despite your idea that it was.

And Roger... it's not a conspiracy to actually follow what we know. To trust both the doctors and the family who were there. Trust that the doctors both are competent enough to recognize a stroke and honest enough to tell the truth and that the family wouldn't lie about the death of their loved one.

What is a conspiracy theory is that the family and doctors are hiding something that the autopsy has revealed and that somehow the reason it is being withheld is to hide the fact that it was murder from bear spray.

I believe we should respect the family of dead cops.

Why do you disagree with this concept?

Overlooked is that Biden and his team are also making a strategic bet. Limiting his exposure to the press and, by extension, the public isn’t simply a defensive ploy to avoid an embarrassing gaffe. It’s a conscious calculation that people don’t need—or want—to hear from the president on an hour-by-hour basis, that they will be satisfied if he can revive the economy and end the pandemic. After all, Americans just had a president who entered their life and refused to leave, who gripped the megaphone and wouldn’t let go. Biden has no wish to resurrect Donald Trump’s in-your-face presidency.

Interesting about the increase in divisions between the Republican party and the Trumpets. I will link.

He is dropping his submission to The National Review.

NATIONAL REVIEW TURNS ITS BACK ON REPUBLICANS

National Review is now run by a nest of never-Trumpers. During the past four years, almost every issue criticized Trump for something he said or the way he said it. The editors were against Trump in 2016 (indeed, that was the cover title of one issue) and again in 2020. In 2016, NR’s editors proclaimed, “Donald Trump is a menace to American conservatism who would take the work of generations and trample it underfoot in behalf of a populism as heedless and crude as the Donald himself.”

National Review, like the rest of the Washington establishment, disdains working-class populists.

In future, we can expect that the few Trump supporters that appear regularly in NR—Victor Davis Hanson and Conrad Black come to mind—will be making fewer appearances, or perhaps, writing on different topics altogether. Maybe the essence of NR’s anti-Trumpism is as simple as this: Donald Trump was a populist president who appealed to working-class Americans; National Review, like the rest of the Washington establishment, disdains working-class populists.

In the most recent issue of NR, the editors write, “The GOP is like a shell, occupied by the hermit crab of Trumpism, an increasingly obstinate and delusional thing. Recovering the party from its current inhabitant will be a task requiring years of work.”(11) Another editorial in that same issue criticizes the Democratic House impeachment managers for failing to bring an airtight case against Trump that would have proved his obvious guilt of inciting a riot on January 6. Trump’s conduct, the editors write, “in the post-election period and on January 6 will blight his reputation forevermore.”

Who would have thought that National Review would help the increasingly radical Democratic Party gain power and ridicule the 75 million Trump voters—a Democratic Party whose leadership has lock-downed the nation’s capital, freed up federal dollars to support abortion around the world, promoted transgenderism at the cost of womens’ and girls’ sports, made climate change the nation’s most important national security issue, allowed illegal immigrants to remain in the country, promoted seemingly unlimited immigration at the southern border, and supported and reinforced a “cancel culture” that seeks to silence all opposition to their agenda.

Officer Sicknick - possible idea that bear spray might have killed him even though it has never been considered a fatal drug or that there is evidence that it causes strokes.

George Floyd - only have to prove that Fentanyl had a reasonable chance to have killed him, rather than being strangled.

Officer Sicknick - would need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that bear spray killed him rather than a stroke.

Tell me Roger... apolitically (keeping personal political judgement out of each situation) - why do you see these two situations reversed from where a reasonable person would see them?

The media didn’t wait for the facts when it came to the state of emergency issued by the city of Miami Beach, Florida. They would like you to believe it was a COVID-19 issue, with everyone from CNN to VOX slapping the big red panic button on the “DeSantis-presented” super spreader event.

It wasn’t that at all. The city issued curfews and issued a state of emergency because, as one Twitter thread thoroughly shows you, the young crowds had gotten so rowdy and violent that authorities had to shut it down. Why can’t the media just say that? As you’ll see, it’s because the crowd that was primarily causing the problems consisted mainly of black people, and the media isn’t allowed to say anything bad about primarily black crowds.

The Twitter user “Mommar” presented a rather lengthy thread that showed video evidence of what exactly was happening in Miami Beach that led to the issuance of the state of emergency and even gave some background and context on what happens in the city during these times. Needless to say, you’re not going to find the media talking about this in detail like you will here.

For one, a big problem is restaurants getting trashed and people walking out on their very expensive tabs. Not only is the restaurant having to foot the bill for the food, but they’re also having to pay for any damages these crowds inflict on the establishment. One restaurant was hit with this kind of chaos two nights in a row.

Later Wednesday, Biden is expected to hold an event marking Equal Pay Day with Megan Rapinoe, Margaret Purce and other U.S. soccer stars. Media Now Claims Shooter Was Factually Arab, But Morally White

BOULDER, CO—After 24 hours lamenting the scourge of white supremacy in America, new details revealed that an evil mass shooter was Arab. The media was able to retain their narrative, however, when further details emerged that in spite of being Arab, the shooter was morally white.

"The mass shooter was morally white," said one CNN anchor. "This clearly shows that white supremacy is still the enemy here. Whiteness is a flexible thing that can mean whatever soulless political opportunists like us want it to mean, whenever we need it to! Did I say that out loud? Wait-- um, er, I mean... wow, such a tragedy."

The media is confident that even if the white supremacy narrative backfires, they will still be able to exploit an unspeakable human tragedy to roll out their standard gun-control narrative.

"Yeah, either way, we'll get some good political mileage out of this," said another media figure, who is factually human, but morally a pale, carp-like fish that lives in the murky depths of a polluted river. "That's what bottom feeders, er-- I mean courageous journalists like us do best

By Jonathan Allen

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden's response to an influx of migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border has been muted so far. But a tightening political squeeze may force him to act more aggressively soon.

Biden's Republican critics say that he's failing to handle a crisis and that his rhetoric and policies are actually encouraging migrants to travel to the U.S. from Central America. Democrats are more subtly urging him to ensure the humane treatment of undocumented children.

What both arguments highlight is the degree to which the two-month-old Biden administration was unprepared to handle a recurring political storm that has distracted and bedeviled presidents of both parties since the last major overhaul of immigration laws in 1986.

For now, immigrant rights advocates and fellow Democrats appear willing to give him some time to implement his own policies, because, they say, his approach is so different from former President Donald Trump's.

"Trump intentionally wanted to subject these migrants to hell, to hellish conditions," former San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro, who was secretary of housing and urban development in the Obama administration, said in a telephone interview Monday. "Not only did he commit cruelty in all of our names, but his grand scheme didn't even work."

But there's no telling how long Biden's grace period will last if he can't get a handle on the surge, loosen Trump-era restrictions on legal immigration and make sure housing for detained children improves. Some Democrats want him to put himself in the center of the crisis.

------

Today he put The Vice President Harris in charge for fixing the border crisis.

It's a terribly difficult task. But she is a very intelligent and experienced lawyer and politician.

Former CBP Commissioner: Biden admin's border policies are 'against the nation's best interest'

"I believe it's for perceived political gain," Mark Morgan said.

The Biden administration's policies on the U.S.-Mexico border are inhumane to the illegal immigrants and harmful to America, says former acting Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Mark Morgan.

Regarding border protection, Morgan told the John Solomon Reports podcast, "This administration is absolutely — has dismantled everything, and everything that they're doing is against the nation's best interest, and I believe it's for perceived political gain."

According to unofficial statistics of illegal border crossers, Morgan said, "I think within the last 10-11 days, they actually had a single-day encounter of over 6,000. Have you seen that officially? Has anyone in [the Department of Homeland Security] reported that? No. Six thousand! They're averaging, now, anywhere between probably about 4,500 to 5,000 a day."

"But here's the truth, and here's the stat they're not presenting officially: 75% of the so-called unaccompanied minors are older teenagers — 15, 16, 17 years of age," Morgan said. "They're not being ripped from their parents. They're making a tough decision on their own to leave simply because they want a better job in the United States."

He also talked about how many illegal immigrants are being released into the United States.

"Do you know how many people that DHS has mandated and forced CBP to release?" he asked. "No, because it hasn't been officially released. It's over 20,000. Twenty thousand have been released since January, but they still get out there and say, 'Oh, we're still removing people' — under, by the way, the Trump-era Title 42 policy.

"But here's another thing: It's a blatant lie," Morgan said. "The secretary's still out there saying that they're removing most families. John, it's a lie. It's an absolute lie. But yet, they're not officially giving the numbers, right, to back up that.

Who’s Actually Running This Thing?

We have achieved what Buckley greatly feared: Not government by the first 2000 names in the Boston phonebook, but government by the faculty of Harvard. This is what an oligarchy looks like.

By Dan Gelernter

March 23, 2021

We’ve seen the headlines: Biden holding migrant children in cages. Biden crafts plan to raise taxes. Biden does this, Biden does that. But who is actually doing it?

No one believes that Biden is actually president. Forget for a moment the questions about the election itself, and focus on the man: Biden can’t speak coherently, can’t remember the names of his cabinet members, can’t be trusted to give a live press conference. He says he’s willing to take questions and they turn his feed off. So he’s not in charge. He’s not running the show. He’s not president. Who is?

The American press corps would like to think that it is they; which is why they’re willing to go along with the cover-up. They think they’re the ones running the country. And what exactly would be the difference between the current situation and an official government of the mainstream media? This administration promises to enact, as if by media direction, every single woke prescription and pipe dream. They couldn’t possibly do better if the New York Times editorial board were living in the White House.

Hollywood thinks the same of our situation. As do the universities. This is great for all of them—it’s as though they are finally, collectively president of the United States. We have achieved what Buckley greatly feared: Not government by the first 2000 names in the Boston phonebook, but government by the faculty of Harvard. This is what an oligarchy looks like.

Ted Cruz admitted that if the people are allowed to vote legally, the Republicans will never win am election. The power of the people to choose their leaders, is the foundation of the United States of America.

Ted Cruz slammed the Democrats' push to pass the voting rights bill H.R.1, labeling it a “power grab” intended to keep their party in control for a century.

"It is a brazen and shameless power grab by Democrats,” the Texas Republican said during a Senate Committee on Rules and Administration hearing on Wednesday. “It speaks volumes that this is HR 1 and S1, that the number 1 priority of Democrats is ... keeping Democrats in power for 100 years."

If we make that decision, that's why the founding fathers created our ability to vote. The power of the people.

The White House has sent a fresh signal that Biden may not complete his first term. As the 25th amendment stipulates, Harris would immediately become the President of the United States, but who takes over the second part of a new hyphenated administration?

Here’s Your Sign

A new directive issued by a top White House communications team member appears to elevate Vice President Kamala Harris’ role in running the federal government while gently pushing President Biden into the background.

A leaked email from an employee of a federal government agency reveals the White House is shifting toward a communication strategy that seeks to elevate Vice President Kamala Harris in all official White House business.

The directive, the employee reports, came from a top White House communications team member and instructs all agencies to refer to the Biden administration as the “Biden-Harris Administration” in place of the “Biden Administration.”

https://getoutspoken.com/exclusive/to-downplay-biden-white-house-directs-all-agencies-to-refer-to-biden-harris-administration-in-official-communications

This new signal, seen just days after the president fell three times attempting to board Air Force One, adds doubt to whether President Joe Biden will complete his first term. While no single action gives a clear indication that Harris is about to ascend, the culmination of several unusual official acts hints that it may happen sooner rather than later.

The 2020 Presidential Inauguration was titled the Biden-Harris inaugurationThe daily press guidance sent from the White House Communications Office has indicated that Harris attends almost every single meeting and event that Biden doesHarris has made introductory calls to foreign leaders – a task traditionally reserved for POTUSBiden, after more than two months in office, has yet to hold a press conference and avoids questions from the pressHarris receives the Presidential Daily Brief in the Oval Office alongside BidenHarris is closely situated at every public appearance – traditionally the president and VP are kept apart to avoid loss of both in a single eventBiden has referred to Harris as “President Harris” on more than one occasion

With all that, the people want to know – who gets Kamala’s old office should Biden step down?

Making the Choice

Vladimir Putin said...

The U.S. Constitution gives the new president the power to nominate a vice president of their choosing. That nomination must be confirmed by a simple majority in both houses of Congress. But, who might Kamala Harris and her Democratic Party handlers choose to play second fiddle?

Traditionally, candidates for president have chosen running mates that balance out the ticket so that the pair can bring in support from a larger swath of voting bloc. If Biden slinks into retirement this year, Harris would enjoy 3 years without caring about support and she could decide not to run for re-election in 2024 allowing her to go hard left with her veep pick and push the most progressive policies in American history. If she wants a VP that could help her gain re-election in 2024, she’ll have to pick more of a moderate and likely someone who appeals to middle-class, white, working families.

Lasty, Harris will have to consider the Senate as she makes her choice. She will need every single Democrat in the Senate to vote to confirm her pick at which point, ironically, she’ll cast the tie-breaking vote.

The Who’s Who of Veepers

Possible Far-left Nominees:

Michigan Governor Gretchen
WhitmerStacey Adams
Sen. Elizabeth Warren
Sen. Bernie Sanders
Cory Booker
Pete Buttigieg
Michelle Obama

Possible Ticket balancing choices:

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf

Sens. Sherrod Brown

Tim Ryan (OH)Sen.

Gary Peters (MI)

If Biden slides off into the sunset, Harris will get to nominate the next vice president. Who do you think she’ll pick?

Former Member of Trump’s Legal Team, Sidney Powell, admits Trump and his Supporters are not Reasonable People.by Dennis R. Hill

Sidney Powell is currently being sued by Dominion for accusing Dominion of "vote rigging" and "stealing the election".

In her filed response to the lawsuit, Sidney Powell stated that the lawsuit should be dismissed because "NO REASONABLE PERSON" WOULD MISTAKE HER CLAIMS FOR "FACT".

Donald Trump mistook her claims as "FACT".

Rudy Giuliani mistook her claims as "FACT"

Senator Ted Cruz mistook her claims as "FACT"

Senator Josh Hawley mistook her claims as "FACT"

Senator Ron Johnson mistook her claims as "FACT"

Sean Hannity aka HandJobHannity mistook her claims as "FACT"

The Trump Terrorists who attacked the Capitol mistook her claims as "FACT"

Most Trump Supporters mistook her claims as "FACT"

IN FACT, all of the above mentioned people probably STILL mistake her claims as "FACT"

Sidney Powell is now saying that all of the above mentioned people are "NOT REASONABLE PEOPLE"

After all the damage that has been done to America by Sidney Powell's false claims, does she really believe she can use the "Only Stupid People would have believed me" excuse?

Sidney Powell is just as responsible for the terrorist attack on the Capitol and the related deaths as Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Ron Johnson and the Trump Terrorists. They all should be criminally charged, prosecuted, convicted, and sent to prison.

By Pete Williams and Rebecca Shabad

On Dec. 19, the court filing said, Meggs posted a message on Facebook saying, "This week I organized an alliance between Oath Keepers, Florida 3%ers, and Proud Boys. We have decided to work together and shut this s--- down."

Three days later, he posted "Contact with PB and they always have a big group. Force multiplier," the government said.

Between Dec. 12 and Jan. 4, prosecutors said, Meggs organized and participated in approximately 10 online discussions on the videoconference platform GoToMeeting that were affiliated with the Oath Keepers. He led and planned the group's activities and paid for two hotel rooms in Washington, the court filing said.

The document does not allege that the groups formulated a plan to attack the Capitol before arriving in Washington. Asked during a "60 Minutes" interview last week if there was a premeditated plan to breach the Capitol, the man who supervised the investigation, Michael Sherwin, said, "That's what we're trying to determine right now."

JUSTICE DEPARTMENTOath Keepers leader coordinated with Proud Boys and others before Capitol riot, prosecutors say

“It’s gonna be wild!!!! It’s gonna be wild!!!!" Meggs wrote in a Facebook message, saying then-President Donald Trump "wants us to make it WILD that’s what he’s saying. He called us all to the Capitol and wants us to make it wild !!! … Gentleman we are heading to DC pack your s--- !!”

In another Facebook message Dec. 25, Meggs said he and other Oath Keepers would probably be guarding someone during the day, the court document said. The name is blacked out, but some Oath Keepers were providing security for Roger Stone, who had been an adviser to Trump.

He also listed provisions that people would need in Washington, including mace, gas masks, batons and armor.

In that message, Meggs appeared to contemplate some kind of street protest action, saying the Oath Keepers would march with the Proud Boys, "then fall back to the back of the crowd and turn off," prepared to engage with any members of antifa.

In another Facebook message, Meggs predicted that Trump would not resign. "Trumps staying in, he's gonna use the emergency broadcast system on cell phones to broadcast to the American people. Then he will claim the insurrection act."

But by the afternoon of Jan. 6, prosecutors said, Meggs and other Oath Keepers rushed into the Capitol in a military style formation.

Not a peaceful protest, but a coordinated attempt to overthrow the government of the United States of America.

rrb said...

Stealing in broad fucking daylight:

Democratic candidate Rita Hart is trying to steal a U.S. House seat in Iowa. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is helping her do it.

Pelosi wants to overturn Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks’s very narrow win in Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District. Her efforts are so blatantly partisan, dishonest, and anti-democratic that a few members of Pelosi’s own party caucus have come out against her.

“Losing a House election by six votes is painful for Democrats,” wrote Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips, the first congressional Democrat to voice firm opposition to this scheme. “But overturning it in the House would be even more painful for America. Just because a majority can, does not mean a majority should."

Those words are crucial right now. "Just because a majority can, does not mean a majority should."

Democrats are faced with a huge temptation. They use the word "democracy" as a shield for their power grabs, and they think they can get away with it. They want to abolish minority rights in the U.S. Senate in order to pass new power grabs. They want to add or create new states that will vote Democratic. They want to add new justices to the Supreme Court in order to remove constitutional roadblocks to their power grabs.

It's "democracy," you see, because as long as they have majorities, they believe anything that gets in the way of pure majoritarian rule is "undemocratic."

So, it's fitting of Pelosi's governing philosophy that if a majority of Congress can overturn an election, there's no reason that majority shouldn't. Never mind that, when they lacked a majority, Pelosi and her party sang from the opposite songbook about majoritarianism.

Suddenly, you get an idea of how undemocratic this democracy can be. Thankfully, a few other Democrats are on the side of Phillips.

“I want to see what compelling reasons there are for the feds to get involved in this,” said California Democratic Rep. Lou Correa. “I think these are issues that, right now, are probably best left at the state level.”

Democratic Rep. Dan Kildee of Michigan agreed: “Unless we see compelling evidence that there’s something seriously wrong, then we should defer to state and local officials.”

Iowa’s election officials have already confirmed Miller-Meeks’s win was legitimate, even if it was extremely close. The district held a recount and found that Miller-Meeks was still the winner, and the state’s bipartisan canvassing board voted unanimously to certify her win. Hart failed to challenge the result in state court.
