State of Maryland is opening an "investigation" into the 17 year employment of Chauvin defense witness Dr Fowler....

Pressured by a letter signed by 431 doctors urging them to "take action" against Fowler "

The Maryland’s Attorney General’s Office said Friday it believes there should be a review of “in custody” death reports produced by the state’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner during the tenure of Dr. David Fowler, nine days after Fowler testified that an ex-Minneapolis police officer was not responsible for the death of George Floyd in police custody.

Most hated man in America

The announcement came less than 24 hours after the attorney general’s office received a letter from the former medical examiner of Washington, D.C., Roger A. Mitchell, signed by 431 doctors from around the country, saying Fowler’s testimony and conclusions were so far outside the bounds of accepted forensic practice that all his previous work could come into question.

To be clear, Doctor Fowler testified to almost the exact same thing as the Hennepin County Medical Examiner had written in his autopsy report. If this was so out of the boundaries of accepted forensic practice, apparently the largest county in Minnesota also has an incompetent medical examiner who needs to be replaced.

The reality is that this has nothing to do with proper testimony. This has to do with whether or not a doctor is allowed to testify in defense of the most hated man in America.

Now the "science" and "data" in all of this lends itself to Doctors Baker and Fowler. Science and physics suggest that it would take well over 200 pounds of pressure on the back of a normal sized person to cause asphyxia. General physics suggests that at 140 pounds and four pressure points (two feet planted on the ground and two shin/knees on two places on the back) Chauvin could not have applied anything close to to that force.

Moreover, statistically a normal person under stress would be about 800,000 times more likely to die from an arrest due to heart disease than positional asphyxia.  Statistically a person with high levels of Fentanyl would be about 8000 times more likely to die from an Opioid overdose than from positional asphyxia. Not to mention that the only person to physically examine the body testified under oath that there were no physical signs of asphyxia and multiple signs associated with arrest associated with high levels of opioids.

Now you can certainly disagree with Doctors Baker and Fowlers for following the science, trusting the examination, and going with the overwhelmingly statistically favorable viewpoint. But to make the claim that the former President of the National Association of Medical Examiners can no longer be trusted past, present, or future to provide a medical opinion?

Seems a little out of touch with reality... but in touch with the politics of this. Make no mistake, this is just the cancel culture at it's finest (or worst depending on viewpoint)!

The decisions Monday, which were handed down without explanation, are the latest in a series of instances in which the Supreme Court has skirted Second Amendment questions. The court passed earlier this month on three challenges to a federal ban on gun ownership for people convicted of nonviolent crimes, disappointing Second Amendment advocates who hoped a more conservative court would begin to chip away at the restriction.

The New York case made its way to the court amid a series of recent mass shootings, including in Colorado, Georgia and Indiana. It's not clear whether such events weigh into the decision to take a case or not because the court generally doesn't say.

They are currently considering the other case against the second amendment rights.

If Chief Justice Roberts sides with the traitors on a left wing justices President Trump will have him hung outside of Supreme Court CAPITAL.

Medical examiner rules death of 19-year-old black man in police custody an accident

A 19-year-old African American man involved in an altercation with police on Maryland’s Eastern Shore suffered “sudden cardiac death,” the state medical examiner concluded about an incident that has roiled the small town of Greensboro.

The medical examiner Fowler ruled the death of Anton Black accidental. The autopsy report for Black, signed Wednesday, said it was “likely that the stress of his struggle” with police contributed to his death, as did bipolar disorder and underlying heart issues, but said “no evidence was found that restraint by law enforcement directly caused or significantly caused or significantly contributed” to the Sept. 15 death.

Toxicology tests found no evidence of drugs in Black’s system, the report said.Bipolar disease caused his death

A statement released Thursday by attorneys for the Black family called for a grand jury investigation and questioned the basis for Black’s arrest and the use of force against him.

“There was nothing accidental about the police conduct here,” according to the statement, which said there was “an intentional and wrongful decision to arrest Anton Black who had committed no crime” and “intentional decisions to use the degree of force” that the family said led to his death.

The statement also said that Black “was no threat to any of them.”

Black died in a physical encounter with police after an officer responding to a call of a child abduction chased, Tasered and restrained Black. Police said Black fled an officer who told him to release the child, which he did.

This intersection has been home to a thriving Black, community and cultural corridor. However, since May 25th, its reputation has evolved and will now forever be connected to the memory of George Perry Floyd Jr.

The Black businesses along George Floyd Square have suffered greatly. Lack of traffic down this once busy street has led to an unintended economic downfall for these businesses. As the community continues to hold space, it is imperative that decision makers consider the economic toll that has been paid. These once prospering Black businesses have seen great revenue loss. Justice is the ultimate goal, it should not come at the cost of losing one’s livelihood especially for these Black families. We must also fight for Economic Justice as well!

Another unintended consequence of the occupation of 38th and Chicago is the rise in crime that has had a profound effect on these business.

Baby boy is murdered after ultra-woke San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin let his 'killer' go free TWICE after domestic violence allegations

San Francisco District Attorney has been blasted by domestic violence advocates for failing to prosecute Joseph Williams after two previous arrests

Williams, 26, was let go twice after being arrested on suspicion of assaulting his partner in 2021

Boudin's office said the partner had refused to press charges against Williams

He's now been charged with the murder of 7-month-old baby boy Synciere Williams

California Governor candidate and reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner condemned the prosecutor over the incident on Twitter

Kathy Black, executive director of La Casa de las Madres, a shelter for domestic violence victims, said DA Boudin had abdicated his duty

Boudin was condemned in January after freeing an armed robber who is alleged to have caused a double hit-and-run shortly afterwards

City cops arrested 131 people on felony domestic violence in final 3 months of 2020, but Boudin's office dismissed 113 of them and charged just 13 of them

Andrew Brown Jr.'s family: Police bodycam footage shows 'execution'
Yahoo News
April 26, 2021, 4:44 PM
An attorney for the family of a Black man fatally shot last week by police in North Carolina says that body camera footage of his death that they were allowed to view shows an “execution.”

Andrew Brown Jr., 42, died Wednesday after deputies in Elizabeth City, N.C., shot him as they were attempting to execute a drug-related search warrant.

“Let's be clear: this was an execution,” Chantel Cherry-Lassiter, an attorney for Brown’s family, told reporters Monday after they were shown a redacted portion of body camera footage at the Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office. She said officials allowed them to view just 20 seconds of video of the incident.

Cherry-Lassiter said the video shows Brown in his car in his driveway with his hands on the steering wheel as police are shooting at him.

Brown then backs out of the driveway as the officers continue firing and drive away, hitting a tree.

“In no time in the 20 seconds we saw was he threatening the officers in any kind of way,” Cherry-Lassiter said.

She said that at least eight officers were seen in the footage.

Pasquotank County Sheriff Tommy Wooten II said previously that multiple deputies fired shots during the incident. According to the sheriff's office, seven officers were placed on leave while the shooting is being investigated.

“My dad got executed trying to save his own life,” Brown’s son, Khalil Ferebee, said after seeing the video of his father’s death. “It ain't right. It ain't right at all.”

The footage has not been released to the public, despite calls to do so from local and state officials — including Gov. Roy Cooper. Under North Carolina law, the release of body camera video must be ordered by a judge.

Officials in Pasquotank County said Monday they were working to redact parts of the footage due to the active investigation.

Lawyers for the Brown family denounced what they described as a lack of transparency.

“Twenty seconds is not transparency when you've got multiple officers gunning down a man with his hands on a steering wheel trying to get away,” said Harry Daniels, an attorney for the family.

Earlier Monday, Elizabeth City Mayor Bettie Parker declared a state of emergency in anticipation of the public release of the footage.

“City officials realize there may potentially be a period of civil unrest within the city following the public release of that footage,” Parker said in a statement.

The shooting came a day after former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted in the murder of George Floyd, whose killing sparked global protests against police brutality.

"If we don't have transparency we can never get to accountability," said Ben Crump, a civil rights lawyer and attorney for the Brown family. "And if we never get to accountability, we can never get to healing and trust."

Crump, who also represented the family of George Floyd, accused officials of trying to hide their misconduct.

"What is it on this video that is so damning?" Crump wondered aloud. "Just show the video."

I SAY THAT TOO. JUST SHOW THE VIDEO.

We’ve heard about heart conditions and drugs before, but Dr. Fowler’s theory of poisoning by carbon monoxide from a police car’s exhaust when Floyd was handcuffed and laying on the ground brought a new level of creativity to the trial. Not that Eric Nelson, Chauvin’s lawyer, and Dr. Fowler were suggesting that the main cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning, but rather that it could have been a contributing factor. “Now, again, you’re not suggesting to the jury that Mr. Floyd died of carbon monoxide poisoning?” Nelson asked the doctor. “No, not exclusively,” he answered.

But here’s where something interesting happened: Dr. Fowler mentioned carbon monoxide so frequently that when he was being cross-examined by the prosecution, Jerry Blackwell, the state’s lawyer grilled Fowler about it. “Do you agree with me that there was no finding of carbon monoxide poisoning from Dr. Baker’s autopsy review?” Blackwell asked. Dr. Fowler agreed. Still, the whole idea of carbon monoxide as a remote and unlikely factor nonetheless somehow became normalized. Then, on Thursday morning, the state sought to include new evidence showing Floyd’s body had a normal range of carbon monoxide in it, but Judge Peter Cahill wouldn’t allow it.

The judge did not a doctor allowe Fowler to testify in defense of the most hated man in America.

School board surprised by recommendation to expand police presence in Berkeley high schools

A committee made up of students, administrators, parents and other community members recommended Wednesday that the district expand the role of the SRO to include more mentorship responsibilities and consider adding additional hours to the role or a second SRO. Several committee members said they had not expected to expand the SRO’s responsibilities, but came to believe that the SRO has a positive impact at Berkeley schools.

The recommendation came as a surprise to many board members, who hoped the committee would imagine school safety without an armed police officer stationed on campus. Save Laura Babbitt, who supported the recommendations, most board members prodded the committee to further investigate alternatives to policing.

Gabe Fredman, a teacher on special assignment who supports positive school and classroom culture district-wide, said he did not expect to get behind the SRO role. But he changed his mind when he saw what a difference it can make when students have an existing relationship with an officer.

“The need to call the police will continue to be there at a large secondary school,” he said. “It was really compelling how the SRO has functioned at Berkeley High, which seems different than my experience in other school districts, where, when the police were called, they sort of came in as an invading force,” Fredman said.

Indeed, when the committee surveyed students and staff, no teachers and fewer than 6% of students found the SRO “hostile or mistrustful of kids.” The majority of people surveyed supported the SRO position, including 72% of Black students, 73% of Latino students, 77% of Asian students, and 62% of white students. White staff members were the most critical of the SRO role, with 54% opposing the position.

Berkeley, maybe the most liberal city in America, asked students about on-campus policing.

Other than white staff it was widely supported by everyone.

Especially minority students.

I would like to be able to go to the tape, as they say, rather than rely on the Times to act as our intermediary. Until the time comes, however, analyze this: “Former Secretary of State John Kerry informed him that Israel had attacked Iranian interests in Syria at least 200 times, to his astonishment, Mr. Zarif said [on the audiotape].”

It’s predictable, perhaps, that the Times glides over this remarkable exchange in a single-sentence paragraph that is submerged near the bottom of the piece. (I guess it’s better than the Washington Post, which doesn’t even mention the interaction.)

A high-ranking American official feels comfortable sharing this information with an autocratic adversary — a government that’s murdered hundreds of Americans, regularly kidnapped them, interfered with our elections, and propped up a regime that gasses its people — about the covert actions of a long-time American ally.

Our Israeli friends shouldn’t take it too personally. Kerry doesn’t like the United States much more than he does Israel.

The I hate Democrats Party said...

Have you heard about the Republican arguments against President Biden’s economic plans? Me neither.

It’s not that Republican opposition doesn’t exist. Every Republican in Congress voted against Mr. Biden’s economic recovery package, the American Rescue Plan.

But roughly 100 days into Mr. Biden’s presidency, as he has proceeded with spending plans that the administration and friendly observers have increasingly described in historic terms — as an update to and expansion of the New Deal and a wholesale reorientation of the relationship between the federal government and the economy — the Republican opposition has largely been a matter of dull reflex.

What Republicans haven’t done is make a concerted public argument against Democratic economic policies. One complication is that to do so would be to engage in hypocrisy so blatant and obvious that it would negate any impact. But this stems partly from a deeper problem, which is that the party no longer has a cognizable theory of government.

Republicans spent the presidency of Barack Obama leveling attacks on Democratic fiscal policy: Debt and deficits were out of control, they said, and spending restraint had disappeared. The Tea Party was, at least at first, nominally a movement in response to Obama-era economic policy — the stimulus in the wake of the housing market crash and then the Affordable Care Act — that conservative activists saw as overreach.

Yet Donald Trump campaigned on not touching Medicare and Social Security, and during his presidency, the Republican Party ran up federal debt and deficits and increased federal spending even before the pandemic. Tea Party-style lawmakers in the House Freedom Caucus, instead of resisting this move, became some of the most vocal defenders of the Trump agenda.

And when the pandemic hit, many Republicans supported enormous, deficit-financed spending bills in response, totaling nearly $4 trillion. It was not the first time that Republicans had recently run up the federal tab: Total government spending and deficits grew under President George W. Bush as well.

So who would believe that this party genuinely supports limited government?

Part of the Republican Party’s weakness as an opposition party is structural. Republican politicians don’t care that much about solving problems through public policy because Republican voters don’t care that much, either: In a recent Echelon Insights poll, only 25 percent of Republicans said they believed the goal of politics is to enact good public policy; that number shrunk to 19 percent among the party’s most dedicated Trump supporters.

Part of it is historical, an outgrowth of the party’s recent strategy of opposing Democratic plans without unifying around alternatives of their own.

I've heard the gop economic plan. It's to return to the stuff Trump was doing that had the economy historically strong, the markets rising, working class wages rising over 5% before covid tanked things. Remember all that? Naturally our dementia president wants to flush it all.

The rather curious defining feature of [Democrat] Party foreign policy, going back at least four decades, is that our friends must be bullied and our enemies must be appeased. The Democratic worldview holds that America is a source of geopolitical evil whose destructive influences must be tamed and reined in, and that America's enemies must be emboldened in order to tilt the global playing field away from America's noxious ambit...
...No individual personified the Obama Bros' supine tango with the mullahs better than then-Secretary of State John Kerry. Kerry, the "statesman" who has been on the wrong side of every major foreign affairs issue since at least the Swift Boats of Vietnam, betrayed his country in borderline-treasonous fashion as Obama's chief diplomatic lackey. Not content to sell the farm -- and scores of unmarked pallets of U.S. taxpayer cash -- to a mullocracy with untold American blood on its hands as a diplomat, Kerry then traitorously colluded as a layman with his pal, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, to undermine the Trump administration's "maximum pressure" Iran containment strategy.

Alas, we now know it is apparently even worse. New leaked audio appears to reveal that Kerry, now Team Biden's special climate envoy, divulged to Zarif the details of over 200 clandestine Israeli military operations taken against Iranian targets in Syria. One might be loath to take on blind faith the claims of a thug like Zarif, but in this case the shoe fits. This is who John Forbes Kerry is -- who he always has been, and always will be.The man who was then serving as America's leading diplomat on the global stage betrayed our Israeli allies with reckless abandon, opting instead to buttress a rogue jihadist state and its barbarous Syrian satrapy...

...In the interim, John Kerry has helped solidify his odious legacy as a dunderhead par excellence, at best -- and a traitorous anti-Western ideologue, at worst.

Naturally.

Myballs, NY is circling the drain. For me, acceptance of that fact leads to a commitment to put this dumpster fire in my rear view.

Fuck it. Let the place become over-run with criminal illegals.

Liberals destroy everything they touch, and NY is no exception.
