So even when told not to.... are teachers going to teach CRT anyways?

Minnesota student says teacher told her to hide ‘equity survey’ questions from parents
A Sartell-St. Stephen School District student is speaking out after the school required grade-school children to take an equity survey. Some students didn’t understand some of the surveys questions, but were told by a teacher they couldn’t repeat the survey questions to their parents, according to a video uploaded by Alphanews.
“My teacher said that I could not skip any questions even when I didn’t understand them. One question asked us what gender we identify with. I was very confused along with a lot of other classmates,” Yasgar said during Monday night’s meeting. She said students were told they could not “repeat any of the questions to our parents.” “Being asked to hide this from my mom made me very uncomfortable, like I was doing something wrong,” she told the school board.
The school district hasn’t yet responded to a request for comment. It’s unclear what value a survey holds if respondents don’t understand the questions.

Yeah... when any adult tells a child to do something, then tells that child to hide that action from their parents, it's a pretty good bet that that adult is requesting something that is wrong. While the third grader might not be doing anything "wrong" here - the gut reaction of a child to understand that something was amiss is hitting the mark, as these gut reactions generally do.

Obviously this particular teacher feels that she knows better than the parents what these children need to learn about these topics and obviously this teacher feels the need to get to these children at a young and impressionable way. To the degree that a 3rd grader is not able to comprehend this stuff is proof enough that it shouldn't be addressed at this level. Also, let's be clear. You tell a third grader not to tell their parents, the first thing they are going to do is go home and tell their parents.

This is clearly a teacher who wants to do what they want to do regardless of what anyone is going to tell them. I doubt very seriously that Sartell (a small town of around 20,000 outside of St Cloud) is the sort of place where school administrators are putting CRT into the curriculum. Especially not at a third grade level.

CRT is not designed to convince children to hate their elders.

It teaches the coldheartedtruth about our dark past and again how we repealed slavery and gender discrimination and again the civil rights legislation that was passed by a bipartisan majority.

The Red Scare of this generation is the opposition of the civil rights movement and again the cold war.

Truman and Eisenhower stood up against the Red Scare.

The America First movement is isolationist.

Every single teacher who pulls this shit needs to be run out of their teaching job and banned from for life from teaching anywhere ever again.

We were lucky to have stayed one step ahead of this shit when my son was in public school, and the one day I did pull him with an 'unexcused absence' was when one of his classes showed 'An Inconvenient truth.' He got the day off. We went hunting instead. He learned more by being with me out in nature that day than he ever could've learned from a charlatan like Al Gore.

CRT is hateful, divisive, and INTENTIONAL. These scumbags in the public school system are pushing this shit on purpose. It's fucking child abuse straight up. Small children don't see color or race. They see another kid. An individual. Kids must be taught to hate. And the left excels at teaching hatred.

Should be fired and a video made of that. That video then should be shown to every classroom along with a test to see if they understand what happened and why.

Other than that I agree with you.

Asking children about gender or racial equity as a third grader has nothing to do with teaching history. Why you think it does is beyond me.

Everytime you make this tired stupid strawman argument, the nursing home employees are literally seeing brain cells ooze out of your ears and fall to the floor.

But I guess at the end of the day.

You cannot make a real argument.

So you resort to stupid strawman arguments instead.

And by "you" - I mean liberal CRT advocates in general.

Everytime you ask them to stop doing things like asking a 3rd grader to grade their race equity and gender identification - they demand that you are actually asking them to stop teaching history.

I mean who... is dumb enough to fall for that?

Everyone here repeating the argument, I guess.

Scott has been casting doubt on the effectiveness of vaccines for months now. “If vaccines work, why are vaccinated people still banned from living normal lives,” he asked on April 13, before the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) did in fact issue revised guidance that it was safe for vaccinated people to interact without masks. “Honestly, what's the answer to that? It doesn't make any sense at all,” Scott added in April. “If the vaccine is effective, there is no reason for people who have received the vaccine to wear masks or avoid physical contact.”

My spreadsheet provided his mind brain cells ooze out of your ears and fall to the floor.

If I actually was demented, I would not be allowed to come and go from this facility.

Unfortunately I have been seeing people like that here for months.

Most of them are not allowed to come and go.

The people who work here are great people.

Scott, I think you mentioned someone in your family has gone crazy.

One of my sisters went through that shit.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) advised officials working to convince unvaccinated Americans to receive a coronavirus inoculation to focus on explaining the facts about vaccines rather than mandates.

"The vaccines do work," Christie said Sunday on ABC's "This Week." "Every focus group I've been in, Republicans who are not vaccinated, you have to walk them through the logic of this."

Christie added that vaccine-hesitant Americans "don't want to be indoctrinated."

"They're willing to be vaccinated," he added.

The former governor of New Jersey said leaders in the U.S. have "fallen down" in their messaging campaign on vaccinations.

"They're just saying, 'Get vaccinated,' " he said.

The Republican said he recently spent time with a conservative friend who he said told him that he doesn't "want the government telling me what I have to do."

"These folks do not respond to be ordered to do those things. It's a sort of libertarian response to this," Christie said. "I walked him through the facts of this and he said, 'OK, I'm going to go get vaccinated.' That's what we need to do."

With the highly contagious delta variant now spreading through the United States and daily coronavirus cases across the country rising, public health officials say a lack of vaccinations among hesitant or unwilling Americans is driving the surge.

Those who aren't in on the grift and take the words of Henry Rogers X and Robin DiAngelo at face value.

I'm sure there are some true believers out there and the alky may very well be one of them.

I'm more cynical when it comes to this shit and I remain convinced that CRT is part of the larger BLM con, as Patrice Cullors illustrated with her comments on being a true Marxist who's in the game to build a multi-million dollar real estate portfolio.

You almost can't blame Rogers X, DiAngelo, and Ta Ha Ha Sneezy Coates. They're heralded as "thought leaders" to the point that they believe their own bullshit. Mr. X received a multi-million $$$ infusion from Jack Dorsey, DiAngelo pulls down $40K/lecture, and Ol' Sneezy Coates could wipe his ass with 10 sheets of paper and land at the top of the NY Times best seller list.

And guilty white liberals line up to fawn over these clowns and shower them with $$$$$$$. You almost can't blame them for fleecing the sheep. Almost.

After weeks of battling through oxygen treatments, her 28-year-old son died in the hospital two months after being diagnosed with covid-19.

Now in Carpenter's Alabama home, the room belonging to Curt, her "beautiful baby boy" and firstborn, remains empty - a painful reminder of a life that could have been saved if the family had decided to get vaccinated, she said.

"It took watching my son die and me suffering the effects of covid for us to realize we need the vaccine," the mother said. "We did not get vaccinated when we had the opportunity and regret that so much now."

Although for her it will always be impossible to understand the reason for Curt's passing, Carpenter said she is determined to not let her son's death be futile.

"If Curt were here today, he would make it his mission to encourage everyone to get vaccinated," Carpenter said. "Cayla, his sister, and I are carrying out that

Critical Race Theory’s Chief Marketing Officer

Ibram X. Kendi’s brand of “antiracism” sanitizes for elite institutions the academic Left’s most pernicious ideas.

But since the protests have died down, many Americans have realized that Kendi’s brand of “antiracism” is nothing more than a marketing-friendly recapitulation of the academic Left’s most pernicious ideas. While Kendi, born Ibram Henry Rogers, presents himself as a radical subversive, he is really an ideologist of elite opinion, subsidized heavily by America’s corporations and public institutions. Kendi’s work has been used and recommended by Fortune 100 companies, the federal bureaucracy, and the United States military—the very foundations of the power structure he claims to oppose.

Kendi’s thesis—that if the races are equal, then racial disparities can owe only to racism and must be rectified through “antiracist discrimination”—is a simplistic reiteration of critical race theory’s core concepts. As journalist Aaron Sibarium has documented, Kendi has borrowed ideas from critical race theory and translated them into a media-friendly narrative. “When I see racial disparities, I see racism,” Kendi says, excluding other explanations. His logic often descends into circularity: when asked to define the word “racism,” he told attendees at the Aspen Ideas Festival that it is “a collection of racist policies that lead to racial inequity that are substantiated by racist ideas.”

In another nod to 1960s-style radicalism, Kendi also claims to oppose capitalism. “The life of racism cannot be separated from the life of capitalism,” he says. “In order to truly be antiracist, you also have to truly be anti-capitalist.” But Kendi, like fellow traveler Patrisse Cullors of Black Lives Matter, is a prolific capitalist in his personal life. He charged Fairfax County schools $20,000 an hour for a virtual presentation and has merchandised his entire line of ideas, releasing self-help products and even an “antiracist” baby book. He has accepted millions from tech and pharmaceutical companies on behalf of his Antiracism Center. Fighting against capitalism, as it turns out, is a lucrative enterprise.

Great news

At the urging of federal regulators, two coronavirus vaccine makers are expanding the size of their studies in children ages five to 11 — a precautionary measure designed to detect rare side effects including heart inflammation problems that turned up in vaccinated people younger than 30.

Appearing at a televised town-hall-style meeting in Ohio last week, President Biden said that emergency clearance for pediatric vaccines would come “soon.” The White House has declined to be more specific on the timeline, and it was unclear whether expanding the studies will have any impact on when vaccines could be authorized for children.

Because the technology companies have banned Trump!

The more the American Regime clamps down on its citizens domestically, the less ability it has to weaponize its alleged “moral high-ground” to advance its interests abroad. While such a decline in “moral authority” would be a problem for any regime, it is uniquely and perhaps even existentially so for the United States. More than any other country in history, the United States leans on its alleged moral superiority as an instrument of power. Terms like “human rights,” “equality,” “fair elections,” and “freedom of speech” are not simply ideals to aspire to. They are weapons often cynically deployed against target regimes that have resources America want. A country like China is more transparently transactional in its dealings with other nations — they will promise infrastructure in exchange for being able to mine for precious minerals in the Congo, without pretending the mining deal has something to do with “women’s rights” or “gay rights” and so forth.

This difference plays out domestically as well. In China, people tend to defer to state authority so long as the state is performing competently. There is no psychological need for the Chinese to think of their nation in “moral terms” as a “free society” that respects “human rights.” For better or worse, things are different in America. Being a “free society” is just as must an essential part of American self-identity as being a “global superpower.” America’s decline from global superpower status and its transition from a nation that at least pretends to be a free society to a more transparent and overt totalitarianism are mutually reinforcing tendencies that could strain the very special preconditions for American patriotism as we know it.

Perhaps one of the most interesting challenges facing the American regime is how it can slow its geopolitical decline and maintain a viable form of patriotism, even as it transitions from a persuasion model of control that relies on at least a lip-service pretext to being a free-society to a coercion model that relies on pure force and intimidation, rather than the pretty lies that used to serve as at least public justifications for regime institutions and their behavior.

It is far from clear that the American regime can complete this transition without dire consequences with respect to its standing globally, and to its own citizens right here at home. Patriots of all stripes should not view this as a consolation prize, but as a great opportunity.

Separation Is Required

“With a rising drumbeat
of criticism, several Republican Georgia legislators are building a case for the state government to take over Fulton County elections,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

“The newfound power to fire local elections management, created by Georgia’s voting law, worries voting rights advocates, who say it could be abused for partisan purposes to tamper with the heavily Democratic county.

“Though a state monitor reported sloppy management, three counts of Fulton’s ballots arrived at similar results and state election investigators haven’t found fraud.”

Why Top Democrats Are Listening to Eric Adams
July 26, 2021 at 4:00 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard
New York Times:
“Eric Adams, for his part, is seizing the mayoral bully pulpit, moving to cement a national reputation as a Democrat who speaks with uncommon authority about both public safety and police reform… In some ways, it is a difficult playbook to replicate. Mr. Adams, who will be New York’s second Black mayor if he wins in November, as expected, grew up in poverty and says he was beaten by police officers before joining the force himself…

“But some party officials and lawmakers also say that Mr. Adams offers a template for how to discuss matters of crime and justice, urgent issues for Democratic candidates across the country as the early contours of the 2022 midterm campaigns take shape… Whether party leaders are ultimately comfortable with Mr. Adams as a national standard-bearer will hinge on how he governs.”

If we keep this up we'll produce a nation of alky's and BWAA's -

Over time, our educational deficit with other countries, notably China, particularly in the acquisition of practical skills in mathematics, engineering medical technology, and management, has grown, threatening our economic and political pre-eminence. Our competitors, whatever their shortcomings, are focused on economic competition and technological supremacy. In math, the OECD’s 2018 Program for International Student Assessment found the United States was outperformed by 36 countries, not only by China, but also Russia, Italy, France, Finland, Poland, and Canada.

Critical Race Theory and its growing chorus of implementers—from the highest reaches of academia down to the grade school level—have little use for such practical skills acquisition and brook little dissent from teachers and researchers who raise objections to the new curriculum of racial grievance. Woke educators, like San Francisco’s School board member Alison Collins, claim that “merit, meritocracy and especially meritocracy based on standardized testing” are essentially “racist systems.” Some among the new racial cadres even denounce habits such as punctuality, rationality, and hard work as reflective of “racism” and “white privilege”.

In a world where brainpower pushes the economy, the denigration of habits of mind can only further weaken our economic future and undermine republican institutions. Even though the vast majority of corporate executives perceive a growing skills gap, they have failed to stop educators from abandoning skills in favor of ever greater emphasis on ephemera of race and gender.

The Vaccinated Turn Against the Unvaccinated

“Among the vaccinated there’s a growing realization that we’re going backwards, seeing rates go up, seeing some mask mandates come back because of the non-vaccinated. And people are getting frustrated.

“That is a big part of why you’re seeing Republicans not simply encouraging people to get vaccinated but even more trying to ditch the vaccine-resistant brand. They’re feeling exposed to shifting public opinion. In short, they don’t want to be accountable for what they’ve [already] done.”

Can Affirmative Action Survive?
July 26, 2021 at 2:30 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard
Nicholas Lemann:
“It’s distinctly possible that the Supreme Court, as early as next year, could signal that it considers efforts aimed explicitly at helping Black people to be unconstitutional. In June, the Court asked the Biden Administration to give its views on the Harvard case. If the Court decides to take it, that would be seen as good news by the plaintiffs and bad news by Harvard, which has won in the lower courts…

“It’s by no means clear that the Supreme Court has shared in the resurgence of passion for racial-justice issues that has swept through many other leading American institutions. This could be one of those Court decisions which set off not just private legal readjustments but public demonstrations, and years of political organizing… It will be fitting if the Court takes the Harvard case. The long-running battles over affirmative action involve a clash between two opposing principles, both arguably invented at Harvard: meritocracy and diversity.”

How Trumpists Prey on Loneliness
July 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard
Matt Lewis:
“While lack of communal ties may be killing us at the micro level, on the macro level this phenomenon has contributed to numerous societal ills, including the rise of Trumpism.

“In the 2016 Republican primary, for example, it was well documented that Trump performed better in places where people were socially atomized. For example, Republicans who attended church regularly were less likely to support Trump.

“If you are surrounded by friends and family or are otherwise well-adjusted, this probably won’t resonate. But if you are lonely and marginalized (or think you are, like so many of today’s MAGA fans), it will resonate.”

The second incident took place at a grocery store on Parsons Boulevard on June 16. Bell allegedly approached a 34-year-old woman, asked her, “Why are you looking at me?” and punched her in the back of the head, WABC reported.

The third incident occurred at the corner of Parsons Boulevard and 72nd Avenue on July 11. Bell allegedly approached a 63-year-old woman, slapped her face and removed her mask, AP News noted.

The fourth and most recent incident took place on 71st Avenue and Parsons Boulevard. Bell allegedly approached a 75-year-old woman -- who had been collecting bottles -- and struck the back of her head with a hammer, leaving her with a laceration, according to Sunnyside Post.

The charges: Bell was charged with robbery as a hate crime, assault as a hate crime and grand larceny as a hate crime, as well as aggravated harassment and criminal possession of a weapon, according to Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz. She faces up to 25 years in prison, if convicted.

My research team at Johns Hopkins worked with the nonprofit FAIR Health to analyze approximately 48,000 children under 18 diagnosed with Covid in health-insurance data from April to August 2020. Our report found a mortality rate of zero among children without a pre-existing medical condition such as leukemia.

it's not worth the time to educate idiots like VERY lo iq and the lying POS "pastor". I also posted a list of maybe 10-15 studies all concluding masks made little or no difference. I'm not going to dig it up again.

Losers, incapable of doing anything but repeating the party line.

Repeatedly.

They are the type of people that allow authoritarians and dictators come into power

While accusing others.

I wonder why such a low percentage of health care professionals have themselves taken the vaccine voluntarily ?

And why do politicians and CEO's want to force them to .

And I posted a string of information for the lying POS "pastor". He stopped replying and hours late came back with some more Goddard spam on whatever. He wants the last word like VERY lo iq always does. Even if his post is completely irrelevant.

He could have posted corrections to people's posts here but he is not a real pastor.

Just a ultra-partisan following his party's orders and positions.

Mindlessly

Doesn't care who he hurts, he thinks his party can never be wrong.

Fuck them
