Sundown Joe "Checking" To See if the Constitution Gives Him Dictatorial Power To Declare That All Schoolchildren Must be Masked
He'll just declare it and then keep appealing to the Supreme Court, as he already has done with respect to his lawless declaration of an extension of the eviction moratorium.
President Biden said Tuesday that his administration is examining whether he can order universal masking in public schools, overriding Republican governors in states like Florida and Texas.
"I don't believe that I do [have that power], thus far," Biden told reporters during an event in the East Room of the White House. "We're checking that."
Last month, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended masking for all students, faculty, staff and visitors in K-12 schools due to the spread of the Delta variant.
However, Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has dismissed the CDC recommendation. After initially banning school districts from imposing mask mandates and suggesting funding cuts for those that do require masking, the governor suggested Monday that the state could "move to withhold the salary" of local officials who make face coverings mandatory.
Here's where the foolproof plan is: Get Vaccinated!!!
Breakthrough Cases Aren’t the Cause of the Latest Surge August 11, 2021 at 3:48 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard
Vox: “The problem is the unvaccinated population. If more people got the vaccines, the current surge wouldn’t be as big; it certainly wouldn’t lead to the levels of hospitalization and death now seen across the US. This was true months ago, and remains true today.”
IT DOESN'T TAKE A LOT OF INTELLECT TO FIGURE THAT OUT.
Youngkin Regularly Praised Florida’s Pandemic Response August 11, 2021 at 4:37 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard “Virginia’s Republican gubernatorial nominee Glenn Youngkin has repeatedly praised Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in recent months as a model for COVID-19 mitigation efforts, specifically lauding DeSantis’ decision to reopen his state and ban mask-wearing requirements — even in places where large swaths of the population are ineligible for vaccines,” the American Independent reports.
“As recently as Aug. 6, as COVID-19 cases in Florida were surging, Youngkin told right-wing radio host John Fredericks that he supported DeSantis’ continued decision to ban mask wearing requirements in businesses and schools.”
Parents Support Masks But Not Vaccine Mandates for Kids August 11, 2021 at 4:39 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard
A new Kaiser Family Foundation poll finds that 54% of parents surveyed don’t support their schools requiring Covid vaccinations even with full FDA approval, but that 63% support requiring unvaccinated students and staff to wear masks.
Hawaii Will Reimpose Gathering Restrictions August 11, 2021 at 3:10 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard
Hawaii Gov. David Ige (D) said his state will re-impose COVID-19 restrictions limiting social gatherings to avert straining the state’s healthcare, Reuters reports.
“Hawaii, with more than 60% of its population fully vaccinated, has witnessed a rise in cases by 168% between July 26 and August 8.”
THAT'S CALLED BEING SENSIBLE AND BEING CARING.
California to Require Vaccine or Testing for Teachers August 11, 2021 at 3:08 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard Associated Press: “California will become the first state in the nation to require all teachers and school staff to get vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID-19 testing.”
Democrats Pass Another Test August 11, 2021 at 3:37 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard Jonathan Last: “The universe keeps setting up tests for the Democrats, daring them to show they’re not a normal political party:
Are you going to nominate a socialist as your presidential candidate?
Are you going to defund the police?
Are you going to pack the Supreme Court?
Are you going to blow up the filibuster?
Are you going to tolerate a sexual abuser as governor of New York?
“And every time—every single time—the Democrats have passed.” LOL LOL LOL

Ex-U.S. Attorney Quit After Refusing Trump’s Fraud Claims August 11, 2021 at 5:09 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard “Byung Pak, a former U.S. attorney in Atlanta, told congressional investigators on Wednesday that his abrupt resignation in January had been prompted by Justice Department officials’ warning that President Donald Trump intended to fire him for refusing to say that widespread voter fraud had been found in Georgia,” the New York Times reports.
Pak stepped down with no notice on Jan. 4, saying that he had done his best “to be thoughtful and consistent, and to provide justice for my fellow citizens in a fair, effective and efficient manner.”
The "CDC is asking clinicians to watch for any acute bacterial infection that doesn't respond to normal antibiotics and consider melioidosis – regardless of whether the patient traveled outside the United States," the statement said. "CDC also urges clinicians not to rule out melioidosis as a possible diagnosis in children and those who were previously healthy and without known risk factors for melioidosis."
LOL. Like there's any remaining clinicians stupid enough to listen to the CDC anymore. If there are they should be booted from the profession.
Medically as a nation we're probably fucked anyway since medical schools are adopting affirmative action admissions standards to meet their diversity goals.

The anti mask at schools revolution is underway in Tennessee. These are the people who couldn’t get in the meeting tonight. They’ve never seen a crowd this big before for a school board meeting.
You don't have to worry about it because he won't be the President on this Friday.
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has promised, more than once, that former President Donald Trump will be restored to the White House this month.
This week, Lindell is holding a "Cyber Symposium" in South Dakota that he claims will prove that Trump really won the 2020 election and was the victim of widespread voter fraud.
When Vice asked Lindell about his claim that Trump will be restored as president sometime in August!
Vice's David Gilbert, however, shared videos showing that Lindell did, in fact, make that claim.
During an interview for Steve Bannon's podcast in March, Lindell predicted, "Donald Trump will be back in office." And in July, Lindell said that by August 13, it will be "the talk of the world" when the 2020 election is "pulled down" and "communists" are removed from the White House:

Giuliani Told Agents It Was Okay to ‘Throw a Fake’ August 11, 2021 at 5:40 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard A newly obtained transcript shows that Rudy Giuliani told federal agents it was okay to “throw a fake” during a political campaign, to which his then-law partner, Marc Mukasey, added, “there’s no obligation to tell the truth,” the Washington Post reports.
As President Donald Trump entered the final year of his term last January, the U.S. recorded its first confirmed case of COVID-19. Not to worry, Trump insisted, his administration had the virus “totally under control.”
Now, in his final hours in office, after a year of presidential denials of reality and responsibility, the pandemic’s U.S. death toll has eclipsed 400,000. And the loss of lives is accelerating.
On January 20th the death toll exceeded the number of deaths in World War Two.
But Scott the hypocrite never blamed one death on Donald Trump.
On January 20th over 4,000 died.
On the average, we are losing 400 per day.
That is 10% of the death rate under President Joe Biden.
He is actually doing better than expected, except by

A compparison of two highly-effective mRNA vaccines for COVID-19 during periods of Alpha and Delta variant prevalence”, that was posted on medRxiv, raises concerns about the mRNA vaccines’ effectiveness against Delta (Indian) variant, particularly Pfizer’s COVID shots. The study found the Pfizer vaccine was only 42% effective against infection in July 2021, when the Delta variant was dominant. The study has not been peer-reviewed.
The study found that the Moderna vaccine was 86% effective against infection over the study period, and Pfizer’s was 76%. Moderna’s vaccine was 92% effective against hospitalization and Pfizer’s was 85%. Moderna was 76% effective against COVID infection, and Pfizer was only 42% effective for the July time period.

NEW - Hunter Biden claims Russian drug dealers stole another one of his laptops for blackmail while he was close to overdosing in a Vegas hotel room.
WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT Hunter Biden claims Russian drug dealers stole another one of his laptops for blackmail while he was drugged out in a Vegas hotel room in 2018
Video obtained by DailyMail.com shows Hunter with a naked hooker in 2019 after filming a sex tape and explaining how he believed his laptop was stolen
Hunter left the camera rolling as he recounted a Las Vegas bender in which he spent '18 days going round from penthouse suite to penthouse suite'
The incident would mean Hunter lost a total of three computers, each likely to hold sensitive information on President Joe Biden
The laptops contain embarrassing pictures, videos and communications of the president's son
'They have videos of me doing this,' he said, referring to the filmed sex he just finished. 'They have videos of me doing crazy f***ing sex f***ing, you know'
Hunter's claims also raise the possibility that he was targeted as a vulnerable conduit to Joe Biden as part of a foreign intelligence operation
Mask mandates correspond to no decrease in transmission: “For mandates we see no reduction: 0.0 percent.” Like all observational studies, however, this study is ill-equipped to show causation, to separate out the effects of just one variable from among other, frequently related, ones.
Mask supporters often claim that we have no choice but to rely on observational studies instead of CRTs, because CRTs cannot tell us whether masks work or not. But what they really mean is that they don’t like what the CRTs show.
Just a few minutes ago The Food and Drug Administration is planning to authorize a third shot for the immune-compromised on Thursday, two sources familiar with the plans confirmed to ABC News.
If the FDA green-lights the additional shots -- first reported by NBC News -- it’s up to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, the Centers for Disease Control's expert advisory panel, to make its own recommendation on who should get the shot and what factors they might want to consider. Those recommendations are typically adopted by the CDC as nationwide public health guidance. The ACIP is scheduled to meet on Friday, though it is not currently scheduled to vote.
MORE: CDC advisory committee voices support for immunocompromised people getting boosters
Many immunocompromised Americans have not had high immune responses to the vaccines, leaving them vulnerable to the virus even after getting a shot. Response has been low particularly in transplant recipients, cancer patients or people on medications that suppress their immune response.
About 2.7% of U.S. adults are considered immunocompromised.
The president pointed first to an impressive jobs report from July, noting that his administration added nearly 4 million jobs to the economy within the first six months in office. Hiring surged in July as American employers added 943,000 jobs, and the unemployment rate dropped to 5.4%.
A Wednesday report from the Labor Department also showed that consumer prices jumped 0.5% from June to July, down from the previous monthly increase of 0.9%. They have increased a substantial 5.4%, though, compared with a year earlier. “This is not accidental,” Biden said of the economic growth. “It is a result of our strategy to get shots in arms, grow the economy from the bottom-up and the middle-out, and it is the result of the American Rescue Plan and everything else we have done. And it is the result of the great determination and really hard work of the american people.”
Still, the administration is hardly finished addressing the repercussions from the ongoing pandemic. Biden’s “Build Back Better” agenda effectively has three parts: The American Rescue Plan, a $1.9 trillion relief bill which Biden signed into law in March; the American Jobs Plan, which is currently making its way through Congress; and the American Families, which the president introduced earlier this year.
Biden’s speech came on the heels of the Senate’s passage of a sweeping infrastructure framework early Wednesday morning, a $3.5 trillion budget framework that includes a number of social programs – referred to as "human" infrastructure – that can pass without Republican support.
“In the past 24 hours, the Senate has advanced two key pieces of my economic agenda: the bipartisan infrastructure bill and the budget resolution that is the framework for my Build Back Better plan,” Biden said Wednesday.
The president thanked Republicans for their votes on a $1 trillion "hard" infrastructure bill that passed the Senate with widely bipartisan support — but went on to say it would hardly be enough to make an impact on American families in the long term.
The Build Back Better plan is “not a short-term stimulus, it is a long-term investment in American families,” Biden said, later adding: “A vote against this plan is a vote against lowering the cost of health care, housing, childcare, eldercare, and prescription drugs for American families.”
On Tuesday, a rare coalition of Democrats and Republicans joined together to pass the $1 trillion infrastructure plan for states coast to coast, a package that includes funding for traditional infrastructure like rebuilding roads, broadband internet, water pipes and public works systems.
Biden’s bigger $3.5 trillion package is a more liberal undertaking of child care, elder care and other programs that is much more partisan, and has so far drawn support only from Democrats. The Senate voted 50-49 in favor of the package early Wednesday.
The House is expected to consider both measures when it returns from recess. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has pledged to consider both bills at the same time, setting up a particularly tricky tightrope for the California Democrat to walk.
Build Back Better.
Build Back Better. Build Back Better. Build Back Better.
From the August 11, 2021 edition of Fox News' Fox and Friends
STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): Well, that former I.C.E. official, Thomas Feely retiring over what he calls the administration's refusal to enforce the law. Also claiming activists from non-profits routinely weigh in, and stop deportations.
AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): And now Tucker Carlson exclusively obtaining e-mails confirming this. Like this one that you see on your screen, from a member of the abolish I.C.E. movement, urging I.C.E. to block the deportation of a convicted felon.
BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): Wow. The request was ultimately forwarded along by I.C.E. Director Tae Johnson, who requested a 14-day stay of removal to which an official responded "Will do." Tucker Carlson joins us now. Another scandal involving the border. Tucker, this is unbelievable. A lot of these whistleblowers feel at home on your show. That's the ultimate reward, don't you think?
TUCKER CARLSON (FOX NEWS HOST): Yeah, I mean, you know what this tells you honestly? What's happening at the border is not a crisis. A crisis is a flood in Bangladesh, it's an act of God. This is an intentional act. This is the administration bringing felons, violent criminals into our country on purpose. Why would you do something like that? Only to destroy it. I mean, there's no other explanation for this. It's not an act of compassion. It's an act of hostility against the United States in order to change it forever. I think this is the greatest scandal of my lifetime, what's happening on the border right now.
DOOCY: Well absolutely, although, you've heard Secretary Mayorkas, Tucker, says the strategy is working, which makes you wonder, what is the strategy?
CARLSON: Right. Well, the strategy is to change the demographics of the country. When you say that, they have a heart attack and call you names, but they say it out loud. I mean, they say it on the floor of the Senate, Dick Durbin did two weeks ago. This country is changing in a way that benefits the Democratic party. More Democratic voters. There's no other upside in this policy. By the way, it doesn't help the people coming from around the world. There's a humanitarian disaster unfolding thanks to the Biden administration. The only beneficiaries are the people who run the Democratic party and this is an effort to change the country, and we should be honest about it and not be bullied into silence as they take our country away and import violent criminals, what?
EARHARDT: What is the benefit of that though. I've heard Republicans say it's to turn Arizona and Texas blue, but what's the benefit of allowing felons to come in?
CARLSON: Well, you know, for the same reason that they push to allow felons to vote is the same reason they're doing this. They believe these are their voters. Look at their behavior, not what they say. If you want to know the truth about something, put earmuffs on and just watch the person talking to you. What's he doing and what they are doing is bringing in people they think will vote for them, and I don't know, that is an attack on democracy. It's the definition of it, when you change the electorate you change the outcome. You disempower the people who live here. You take their votes away. That's what they are doing. Why is no one saying anything about this?
KILMEADE: But Tucker, you know what I'm heartened by? I'm playing this out, it's going to blow up in Democrats' faces and you saw it in the last election. More Hispanic votes went Donald Trump than ever before and people who live in those areas who are Hispanic want to be Americans first and they see this is hurting their country, and if people think that Hispanics are going to go to Democrats, I think it's game on, because it's not.
CARLSON: Well, I think that's exactly why they are doing this because they saw in the last election results that people with Spanish last names on the border are just Americans like everybody else and they don't want their country wrecked either. Just because they have a Hispanic last name doesn't mean they are for this craziness. They're not, and they voted against it. So the Democrats need to import new people and it doesn't matter what racial or ethnic group they are from. They are from other countries, Democrats are bringing them here, purely to vote for them. Purely.
OUR INSPIRATION President Abraham Lincoln led the United States through its bloodiest, most divisive and most decisive period of our history. He fought not because he wanted to, but because he knew the dual goals of preserving the Union and the end of slavery would be achieved only through armed conflict. Lincoln always kept the enormous human cost of the struggle in the front of his mind. At Gettysburg, he implored us not to forget those that had given “their last full measure of devotion” to preserving the American experiment. As it became clear that the Union would be victorious, Lincoln’s thoughts turned to how the nation would “bind up its wounds” and move forward together.
Today, we find ourselves divided again – tribalism in the country and hyper-partisanship in government has led to ever uglier examples of how our political system is failing. President Donald Trump and those who ascribe to Trumpism are a clear and present danger to the Constitution and our Republic.
Here are my comments @WCSedu school board tonight on why masks in schools make zero sense. I encourage all of you to speak out at your own school boards:

Fact is, Fauci, who became director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in 1984, the position he has held for the last 37 years, is long past his cognitive expiration date.
How did our nation’s compass bearing on American Liberty get overwhelmed by Faucism? The answer, unfortunately, is that Donald Trump inadvertently paved Fauci’s path to power. Unfortunately, Fauci’s ascension to power became a key factor in Trump’s 2020 loss.
Singularly, the greatest irony of Trump’s presidency, and in large measure the reason he was defeated after one term, was his elevation of Fauci and his deference to the power he gave Fauci.
Despite the fact Trump amassed an extraordinary record of domestic and foreign policy achievements in the three years prior to the ChiCom Virus invasion, and despite the fact that Trump earned 11 million more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016, he set Fauci up to accomplish what others had attempted to accomplish the previous three years — take Trump down.
Trump’s most obvious leadership “style” was that he was a bomb dropper. As I wrote shortly after he took office in 2017: “The day he arrived in DC, he dropped a bomb on the status quo in Congress and its special interests. He dropped a bomb on the regulatory behemoths and their bureaucratic bottlenecks. He dropped a bomb on the trade and national security institutions and alliances that failed miserably over the previous eight years. And he dropped a bomb on all the pundits and mainstream media outlets.”
In some respects, Trump inflicted enormous injury to his own agenda, not the least of which was his chaotic communication, which accelerated the metastasizing of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
From Day One, Trump was under threat from a deep-state coup to set him up for impeachment. It took more than two years before fully disabusing this charade based on completely fabricated evidence of “Russian collusion.” Of course, there were Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton fingerprints all over the FBI and CIA co-conspiracy to evict Trump.
They failed.
But the damage was done, and despite Trump’s extraordinary midterm record of achievements, his Republican trifecta was broken up when Democrats retook the House after the 2018 election.
Then there was “Coup d'État 2.0,” an effort by lunatic Demo Rep. Adam Schiff and his Demo Party leaders to impeach Trump for what Joe Biden actually did in Ukraine.
But despite Trump’s objective to keep America great — and despite the fact he had carpet-bombed many of the Beltway obstacles to American greatness — when the ChiCom Virus pandemic invaded, Trump made a fatal error that cost him a second term, and has cost our nation irreparable damage.
Trump turned his agenda and virtually every facet of American life over to Anthony Fauci, then not a household name with 99.999% of Americans. Trump empowered Fauci, allowed him to drive the booming Trump economy into the ground, to grow national debt astronomically, and to weaken our national security. Ultimately, Trump became the poster child for Faucist misery.
Notably, it is no small irony that the greatest beneficiary of Faucism was, and is, America’s most lethal adversary, Red China. Ironic I note because Trump took on China trade issues, and it is no coincidence that in return, that government unleashed the ChiCom virus.
Last November, the resulting lockdown misery and mayhem, combined with the Demos’ bulk-mail ballot fraud election strategy that Fauci enabled and the massive Leftmedia and social media blackout of Biden’s ChiCom quid pro quo crime syndicate, resulted in Trump’s defeat.
The bantamweight bureaucrat set Trump up to achieve what all his other foes could not — boot him out of office.
Of all the powerful people Trump fired over his four years, he left Fauci in power. The fact that Trump did not fire Fauci in April of 2020, when it was discovered he had publicly lied about the efficacy of wearing masks, remains a mystery. Not only did keeping Fauci in place help end Trump’s presidency, but Fauci continues to wreak havoc on our nation today, and poses an enormous threat to American Liberty.

7:38,7:40 I can easily guess who wrote that tripe.
If it hadn't been for Fauci and Birx, Trump would have packed the churches for Easter and a calamity would have followed, as Fauci and Birx were finally able to get through Trump's thick skull.
That asshole Schumer tried to pull a fast one, trying to pass that shitty federal election takeover bill by unanimous consent at 4 am this morning. Luckily, Ted Cruz was awake and objected to stop it.

A law enforcement source told me there's been a dramatic increase in vehicle smuggling this year, leading to more crashes. In the RGV, there were three fatal car crashes in a one-week period, totaling 13 deaths. None of them were the result of the police pursuing the vehicles.

California dad killed his kids over QAnon and 'serpent DNA' conspiracy theories, feds say NBC Universal August 11, 2021, 7:47 PM . A California surfing school owner who was charged with killing his two children in Mexico is a follower of QAnon and Illuminati conspiracy theories who thought the children “were going to grow into monsters so he had to kill them,” federal officials say.
Matthew Taylor Coleman, 40, was charged Wednesday with foreign murder of U.S. nationals in connection with the death of his 2-year-old son and 10-month-old daughter, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. Coleman confessed to the killings, telling the FBI he used a spear fishing gun to stab them, authorities said.
He told the FBI he killed his children because he believed they “were going to grow into monsters” and that conspiracy theories led him to believe his wife had passed down her “serpent DNA” to the kids, according to a criminal complaint.
Coleman’s wife, identified only by her initials, contacted the Santa Barbara Police after her husband had taken the kids out on Saturday, but did not tell her where they were going, the complaint said. She grew concerned after he failed to respond to her messages and knowing that her husband didn’t have a car seat with him, she told police.
A missing person’s report was filed on Sunday and officers asked her to use Apple’s “Find my iPhone” feature to see if she could find Coleman. The program showed Coleman’s last known location in Rosarito, Mexico, the complaint said.
Police alerted the FBI to the investigation as it became a case of suspected parental kidnapping. Coleman was detained Monday after an inspection by Customs and Border Control of his van upon re-entry into the U.S., where agents did not see his children and found blood in the vehicle.
Coleman confessed to the killings upon being interviewed Monday, giving authorities the location to the murder weapon and discarded bloody clothing, the complaint said. He also identified two bodies recovered by Mexican authorities as his children, it said.
A judge ordered Coleman be held without bond Wednesday and scheduled his arraignment for Aug. 31.
He said he knew what he did was wrong, but “it was the only course of action that would save the world,” according to the complaint.
“Serpent DNA” is a likely a reference to the lizard people conspiracy theory, which falsely purports that reptilian aliens secretly run the world and have taken over important positions in government, banking and Hollywood.
The complaint states that Coleman told authorities he learned about “serpent DNA” through QAnon and Illuminati conspiracy theories, although the lizard people conspiracy theory predates both by several decades.
The believers in each conspiracy theory have melded together over the last several years due to conspiracy theory influencers and algorithms on social media that frequently lump the theories together.
QAnon is a more recent conspiracy theory premised on the belief that a similar global cabal at the top of the U.S. government is secretly murdering and eating children, and that Donald Trump was quietly working to defeat them during his time in office.
Anthony Quinn Warner, who bombed his own RV outside of an AT&T building in Nashville on Christmas Day last year, claimed lizard people were taking over Hollywood and the U.S. government before the explosion. Warner died and three others were injured in the explosion.
Your source is a fucking nutcase. Highly educated women has been married several times and fucked her was up into Trump world.
The infrastructure bill the Senate passed Tuesday discriminates against white people at every turn.
Americans are enthusiastic about spending money on physical infrastructure — bridges, roads, broadband. But this racist bill hands out jobs and contracts and locates projects based on race, not merit. Minority businesses and neighborhoods hold the inside track. If you’re white, you’re low priority.
The bill includes grants to install solar or wind technologies and generate jobs in areas decimated by closing coal mines or coal-fired electric plants. Here’s the catch: When contractors bid, the bill says minority-owned businesses will get selected first. Bad news for small-time white contractors in depressed areas.
The same is true for the bill’s proposals to improve traffic patterns in cities. Contractors and subcontractors get priority only if they’re owned by minorities or women. White male business owners can take a hike.
You would think Democrats and the Biden White House would get the message. Instead, they’re doubling down on rigging legislation and divvying up taxpayer dollars to benefit minorities and shortchange whites.
Chances are high the infrastructure bill’s hodge-podge of anti-white discrimination will be struck down by federal courts. In 1989, the Supreme Court ruled that the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution bars government from trying to even the score by discriminating against whites and in favor of minorities. The justices warned against creating “a patchwork of racial preferences based on statistical generalizations” to correct past injustices. That’s precisely what this infrastructure bill does.
The bill’s backers would have you believe that obsolete airports, dilapidated public works and deteriorating roads and public spaces are evidence of racial injustice. Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY) rails that “our infrastructure is racist” and calls on the Congress to pass a bill that “puts the needs of underserved and disadvantaged communities at the fore.”
She didn't provide anything but her crazy rhetoric.
Naturally, all of the Democrats voted for this monstrosity. But so did 19 Republicans. I call them Vichy Republicans because they remind me of those Frenchmen who, during WWII, were happy to collaborate with the Nazis. I'm not calling the Republicans or Democrats Nazis; I'm just calling the Republicans collaborators who willingly abandon their people to make their own lives comfortable. I could as easily call them Quislings, after the Norwegians who collaborated with the Nazis.
Here's are the 19 Vichy Republicans, every one of whom should be primaried:
Roy Blunt, Missouri Richard Burr, North Carolina Shelley Moore Capito, West Virginia Bill Cassidy, Louisiana Susan Collins, Maine Kevin Cramer, North Dakota Mike Crapo, Idaho Deb Fischer, Nebraska Lindsey Graham, Queer South Carolina
Chuck Grassley, Iowa John Hoeven, North Dakota Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Lisa Murkowski, Alaska Rob Portman, Ohio James Risch, Idaho Mitt Romney, Utah Dan Sullivan, Alaska Thom Tillis, North Carolina Roger Wicker, Mississippi
it would be foolish to tilt at the windmill of herd immunity. Even as we seek to vaccinate as many people as possible, let’s be clear-eyed about the challenge.
The best estimates for herd immunity — the proportion of a population that needs to be immune from the virus so that the number of new infections decreases — establish a goal in the 60-70 percent range for the world community, with the possibility of needing at least 80 percent for the U.S. population. But as long as there are communities that still have very low vaccination rates (under 40-50 percent), Covid outbreaks will continue. So is herd immunity a realistic goal? And if not, then what?
Herd immunity occurs when so many individuals have been vaccinated or previously exposed to the virus that it has a hard time finding new people to infect. Such immunity has been achieved for other viral infectious diseases including measles, mumps and chickenpox, but the percentage of immunized people needed differs for each disease.
Because Covid has only been studied for some 18 months, the exact percentage required to achieve herd immunity is still being debated. Best current estimates suggest that if 70-85 percent of the U.S. population were immune, new cases of Covid would decline. But these estimates are likely to continue changing until we know more about how long the virus can persist in asymptomatic individuals and the potential for some variants to be carried and spread even by people who were vaccinated, both of which will help keep the disease in circulation for greater amounts of time.

OPINION The white rural Americans who are still refusing the Covid vaccine Although vaccines are a triumph of science that will save millions of lives, there is reason to doubt whether they are enough to eradicate the virus completely from the globe. This is particularly true because a significant percentage of the U.S. population continues to be unvaccinated. According to a recent poll, 45 percent of Americans who have not been vaccinated say they do not have any plans to get the shot. Another 10 million Americans, nearly 3 percent of the U.S. population, are immunocompromised, meaning they may not develop immunity even if they are vaccinated or are too vulnerable to get inoculated in the first place.
This means millions of people are providing a potential new home for the virus and giving it the opportunity to mutate into new, more infectious variants. This is happening now with the delta strain, which is surging in the unvaccinated population, further challenging the herd immunity end goal. And there’s the danger that other variants could arise that bypass the vaccines or are even more infectious than ever.
What herd immunity actually is: Infectious diseases physician explains Even if it were possible to vaccinate all U.S. citizens, other large unvaccinated populations capable of traveling to the U.S. pose significant continued risks. Successful vaccination of the entire global community, from the crowded streets of Los Angeles and Mumbai to the far reaches of the Savannah in Africa, is many years away. National and international travel is accessible and fast — "just what the doctor ordered" for Covid to find new homes in the traveler. Whatever hope there is for getting more Americans vaccinated, it is folly to think that the world will achieve herd immunity anytime soon.
This means we simply cannot afford to maintain the illusion that herd immunity will stamp out this pandemic. While it is imperative to continue distributing vaccines because they are proven to be safe and effective in preventing serious illness and death, we should not rely on vaccines alone.

The unvaccinated are ruining it The solution is investing in and doing the scientific and clinical research necessary to identify, discover and test new therapies. To win the war against this virus, we need safe, effective and cheap treatments. In the year and a half since the pandemic began, only one treatment has been fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration, remdesivir — an antiviral drug that stops the virus from replicating. But it is only approved for use in seriously ill hospitalized patients, and it is minimally effective.
Monoclonal antibodies, another therapy that’s been developed, can also save lives, but current guidelines restrict these injectable drugs to high-risk patients. Although lifesaving, their use requires access to advanced health care facilities that are not broadly or uniformly available. So for now, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention treatment guidelines can be summed up as "stay home, drink fluids and call your doctor if you get worse or can’t breathe."
The greatest scientific research and health care enterprise in the world can do better on this front.
There remains an unmet need for additional therapeutics that can be used in mildly ill or asymptomatic patients who don’t require hospitalization or advanced care — particularly in order to help them avoid progressing to a crisis state. Such agents might also reduce infectivity and save lives.

White House Whacks Ron DeSantis August 12, 2021 at 6:32 am EDT By Taegan Goddard Politico: “For the past two weeks, Biden and his allies have publicly escalated a war of words and with DeSantis on Twitter, in speeches by the president and in White House press briefings. Biden advisers see DeSantis — who has defiantly fought mask mandates as infections and hospitalizations skyrocketed in the battleground state — as a foil to a president whose strength is his empathetic style and safety-first response to coronavirus that helped him defeat DeSantis’ benefactor, President Trump, nine months ago.
“Amid the Covid explosion, DeSantis’ constant criticisms as well as his controversial policies and a barrage of media questions about the governor, White House advisers say Biden and the team had no choice but to take on the Republican. But the president has seldom gone to such lengths to train so much fire on a critic other than Trump.”

“The speaker can lose only three votes. So this sets up another Washington staredown, this time pitting Pelosi against some of her most electorally vulnerable members, whom she often bends over backward to protect.

MELBOURNE BEACH, Fla. – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is facing growing resistance to his hardline stance against COVID-19 restrictions and mask mandates.
Officials in a handful of Florida school districts are moving to flout DeSantis’s July 30 executive order banning schools from requiring students to wear face masks, even as his administration threatens to withhold pay to superintendents and school board members who defy his orders.
At the same time, a federal judge delivered a blow this week to the governor’s efforts to prevent cruise operators from requiring passengers to show proof of vaccination, ruling in favor of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings in a lawsuit seeking to block enforcement of the ban.
The efforts to defy DeSantis on his approach to the COVID-19 pandemic comes as Florida scrambles to contain a resurgence in the virus that has transformed the Sunshine State into the new epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States.
As of Monday, Florida is averaging more than 20,000 new infections each day, according to the Centers for Disease Control’s Covid Data Tracker. The Florida Hospital Association announced on Tuesday that some 14,787 people are hospitalized and nearly 90 percent of the state’s intensive care unit beds are filled. Hospitalizations are now up 145 percent from Florida’s previous peak in July 2020, according to the group.
“The governor – what he's done, which I think is really almost sinister, is that he has taken this obvious health care challenge and decided to exploit it,” Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber, a Democrat, said in an interview on NPR’s “All Things Considered” on Tuesday.
DeSantis and the Republican-controlled state legislature have sought to wrest control of the pandemic efforts from county and municipal officials in recent months, relying on a flurry of legislation and executive orders intended to curb local governments’ authority to impose coronavirus-related restrictions and mandates.
In May, DeSantis signed legislation giving him sweeping authority to invalidate local pandemic emergency measures, including mask mandates and school shutdowns. That legislation also made permanent an executive order that DeSantis signed earlier this year that banned businesses from requiring patrons to show proof of vaccinations.
But it was an executive order signed by DeSantis in late July banning schools from requiring face masks that touched off the recent furor from school districts.
On Tuesday, the Broward County School Board voted to maintain a mask mandate approved just days before the governor’s executive order, becoming the third school district in Florida to flout DeSantis’s order. School leaders in Leon County, which includes Tallahassee, and Alachua County, where Gainesville is located, have taken similar steps.
Students in those school districts are required to provide a doctor’s note to opt out of the masking requirements.
The efforts to defy the executive order have drawn the ire of DeSantis, who has argued that the ban on school mask mandates is intended to protect parents’ right to choose whether their children should wear masks. His office threatened this week to withhold the salaries of superintendents and school board members who intentionally ignore the order.
“Ultimately – Education funding is for the students,” said Christina Pushaw, a spokesperson for DeSantis. “The kids didn't make the decision to encroach upon parents' rights. So any financial penalties for breaking the rule would be targeted to those officials who made that decision.”
That was met with defiance from school officials, who said they were willing to proceed with the mandates despite the DeSantis administration’s threats. After the Broward County School Board voted on Tuesday to maintain its mandate, board member Nora Rupert challenged the governor: “Lose our salaries? Bring it.”

MyPIllow CEO Mike Lindell suffered a major blow on Wednesday when a judge in Washington D.C. smacked down his motion to dismiss a massive defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems.
As news of the judge's ruling broke, Lindell was on stage at his so-called "Cyber Symposium" aimed at exposing purported "voter fraud" in the 2020 presidential election.
A live stream of the Cyber Symposium showed that, within minutes of the ruling, Lindell abruptly got up from his seat and hurried off stage.
While there's no indication that Lindell's exit was directly related to the ruling, there's no doubt the lawsuit has been on his mind since it will cost him $1.3 billion if it is successful.

Presidential know-how. Biden campaigned on having the experience to forge bipartisan consensus, and his 36-year tenure as a senator seems to have helped the bill pass.
“It appears to have taught him the importance of putting in hard work — phone calls to senators, invitations to the Oval Office — necessary to get the deal over the line,” said Jim Tankersley, who covers the White House for The Times.
Biden’s approach was not without error. His suggestion in June that he would not sign a bipartisan bill into law unless Congress also passed a second, larger spending bill nearly tanked the deal. But his efforts to smooth things over — including speaking directly with key negotiators and dispatching his staff to offer reassurances — helped salvage it.
Biden also made significant concessions to win Republican votes. The Senate bill amounts to about $1 trillion less than what the White House had initially proposed, including reduced funding for electric vehicles, public transit and water infrastructure.
Hospitals in Florida have to use the triage system on surgeries.
That's like the military doctors in battle victims
For the 11th straight day, Florida hospitals set records for the number of COVID patients they are treating, and on Wednesday the state set a new high for daily cases.
On Wednesday, Florida hospitals had 15,449 patients a significant jump from just two days earlier when admissions surpassed 14,000 to set a record. The high count reached Wednesday occurred with only 230 of 261 hospitals reporting their COVID patients to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The state also tallied 24,753 new COVID cases for a single day on Wednesday, surpassing the last record high of 23,958 on Aug. 6.
As hospitals across the state contend with the worst spike in new infections since the pandemic began, Broward County has been hardest hit.
Broward ranks first in the country for new hospital admissions over the last seven days through Aug. 10, with 1,800 confirmed COVID patients, a new U.S. Health Data report shows. The county with the next highest number of new admissions is Harris County, Texas, with 1,713 new admissions, followed by Miami-Dade County with 1,434 admissions.
Broward County Mayor Steven Geller said he is unsure why Broward’s COVID hospitalizations are higher than any other county across the United States, and he is concerned the surge of patients into county hospitals could get worse with people going maskless as well as refusing to social distance while gathering in crowds. “Our hospitals are worried,” Geller said. “I’m concerned about people dying.”
Memorial Healthcare System, with five adult hospitals near the Miami-Dade Broward line, has 670 patients, up from 502 just nine days ago. The health system has nearly doubled the number of patients in its intensive care beds over the last nine days — from 56 to 89. In response, Memorial has turned conference rooms, meeting rooms and cafeteria space into patient care areas and asked the state for help securing more oxygen.
Broward Health, the public health system in the north part of Broward County, said it has 338 COVID patients. Of those, 62 are in intensive care. “The majority of those ICU patients are on ventilators,” said Broward Health spokeswoman Jennifer Smith. “About 97% of our COVID patients are unvaccinated.”
The newest wave of COVID patients into Florida’s hospitals hit hard and fast, bringing mostly people between ages 25 and 55 who are unvaccinated and often have no underlying health conditions.
But just because patients are younger, doesn’t mean they aren’t getting critically sick from COVID Hospitals across the state are contending with more COVID patients in their intensive care units each day for the last few weeks. On Wednesday, 90% of intensive care beds in the state were full, according to HHS data.
Some Florida hospitals have reacted to the surge by suspending elective surgeries to save patient care space and ensure staff and supplies are available for the crust of new COVID patients arriving each day.

Anti masking rhetoric has been leading towards violence.
After a school board in Franklin, Tenn., voted Tuesday night to require masks at local elementary schools, dozens of angry parents gathered outside the building and started chanting: “We will not comply!”
A video of the unruly parents, which has amassed 2.7 million views since it was posted early Wednesday, shows some anti-mask parents aim their scorn directly at their pro-mask peers.
“There’s a place for you guys — there’s a bad place in hell,” one anti-mask parent said.
Another parent approached a man sitting in his car, identified by WTVF as one of the health-care experts who testified at the school board meeting, and pointed at him. “We know who you are,” the parent said. “You can leave freely, but we will find
The rowdy scene capped a nearly four-hour Williamson County Board of Education meeting in which parents debated whether elementary students should be required to wear masks at school until Sept. 21. In Tennessee, covid-19 cases among children nearly doubled in July, and a surge of another illness — respiratory syncytial virus — has left children’s hospitals in the state with fewer beds to meet the covid surge, the Tennessean reported.
In mid-July, Tennessee’s top immunization official, Michelle Fiscus, was fired from the Tennessee Department of Health in what she says was retaliation for her efforts to let teenagers choose whether to get vaccinated against the coronavirus. Days before she was fired, a dog muzzle was anonymously mailed to her office.
At one point during Tuesday’s school board meeting, deputies escorted out a man who was being disruptive. Dozens of parents followed him, chanting, “No more masks!” according to another widely viewed video.
“It was hard to fathom,” Meredith Duke, a surgeon at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and mother of four kids at Williamson County schools, told WSMV.
Duke said she wore a white coat and a mask to the meeting, and it was not hard to know which position she took. She had to be escorted out because she feared for her safety.
“There were people screaming and threatening me, and I just couldn’t believe it,” Duke recalled.
The Republicans have to figure out how to become normal again.

WRONG.
Russia is supplying more oil to the U.S. than any other foreign producer aside from Canada as American refiners scour the globe for gasoline-rich feedstocks to feed surging motor-fuel demand.
U.S. imports of crude and refined petroleum products from its former Cold War adversary surged 23% in May to 844,000 barrels a day from the prior month, government data showed. Mexico was edged out of the No. 2 spot as its shipments to its northern neighbor rose by less than 3%.
White House calls on OPEC to boost oil production as gasoline prices rise
The White House is calling on OPEC and its oil-producing allies to boost production in an effort to combat climbing gasoline prices, amid concerns that rising inflation could derail the economic recovery from Covid.
Biden administration officials spoke with representatives from OPEC’s de facto leader Saudi Arabia this week, as well as with representatives from the United Arab Emirates and other OPEC+ members.
The White House said the group’s July agreement to boost production by 400,000 barrels per day on a monthly basis beginning in August and stretching into 2022 is “simply not enough” during a “critical moment in the global recovery.”
“We are engaging with relevant OPEC+ members on the importance of competitive markets in setting prices,” National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said in the statement obtained by CNBC. “Competitive energy markets will ensure reliable and stable energy supplies, and OPEC+ must do more to support the recovery.”
Fact Check: U.S. Was NOT Energy Independent Four Months Ago ... leadstories.com/hoax-alert/2021/05/fact-check-us... U.S. becomes a net oil exporter for the first time in 75 years
The United States turned into a net oil exporter last week, breaking 75 years of continued dependence on foreign oil and marking a pivotal — though likely brief — moment toward what President Trump has branded as “energy independence.”
The shift to net exports is the dramatic result of an unprecedented boom in U.S. oil production, with thousands of wells pumping from the Permian region of Texas and New Mexico to the Bakken in North Dakota to the Marcellus in Pennsylvania.
The country has been heading in that direction for years, but this week’s dramatic shift came as data showed a sharp drop in imports and a jump in exports to a record high. Given the volatility in weekly data, the United States is likely to remain a small net importer most of the time.
“We are becoming the dominant energy power in the world,” said Michael Lynch, president of Strategic Energy & Economic Research. “Because the change is gradual over time, I don’t think it’s going to cause a huge revolution. But you do have to think that OPEC is going to have to take that into account when they think about cutting.”
The shale revolution has transformed oil wildcatters into billionaires and the United States into the world’s largest petroleum producer, surpassing Russia and Saudi Arabia. The power of OPEC has been diminished, undercutting one of the major geopolitical forces of the last half a century. The cartel and its allies are meeting in Vienna this week, trying to make a tough choice to cut output and support prices, risking the loss of more market share to the United States.
The U.S. sold overseas last week a net 211,000 barrels a day of crude and refined products such as gasoline and diesel, compared with net imports of more than 2 million barrels a day on average so far in 2018, and an annual peak of more than 12 million barrels a day in 2005, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

California Professor Accused of Starting Wildfires Predicted Trump Would ‘Get Violent’ if He Lost 2020 Election
Gary Maynard, the California professor allegedly behind a number of wildfires raging in Northern California, is an anti-Trumper who said in a November interview that President Trump suffered from malignant narcissistic personality disorder and could become violent and destructive in response to defeat. Federal prosecutors allege Maynard, who was arrested Saturday, intentionally tried to trap fire crews with his fires in rural Northern California.
“Donald Trump’s lack of or unwillingness to self-reflect in order to self-improve, and his lack of empathy while being threatened with his first major, public, political and personal defeat, might activate a sense of the need for the use of violence, violent protests by his supporters or outright sabotage of the nation by locking down the economy or some other major act to damage the nation before he is forced to leave office, if he loses,” Maynard told left-wing journalist Charles Krause, who writes for The Globalist.
The journalist posted his interview of Maynard, accompanied by grotesque caricatures of Trump, on his blog, Art Profiler.

More than 4,700 lives lost to Covid-19 in Florida and Texas could have been saved if those states had higher vaccination rates, according to a study released on Thursday.
The study from the Commonwealth Fund, a private health care endowment, was conducted by an international team of epidemiologists and data scientists. The analysis compared the Covid hospitalization and death rates of a group of states like Vermont and Connecticut, which had fully vaccinated roughly 3 in 4 adults on average, with those of Florida and Texas, where roughly 1 in 2 adults are fully vaccinated.
Houston hospitals need more staff as number of Covid patients grows
"Outbreaks are predominantly affecting states that have relatively low vaccination coverage, with nearly a third of recent cases occurring in Florida and Texas," the researchers wrote, warning that the highly infectious delta variant would only worsen matters.
The estimated toll: Higher vaccination rates in these two states could have prevented more than 70,000 hospitalizations and 4,700 deaths by the end of July.
"We found that enhanced vaccination would have markedly curbed the rise of cases in Florida and Texas — averting more than 460,000 cases. Since the start of vaccination on Dec. 12, 2020, until July 31, 2021, Florida and Texas have reported more than 1.5 million and 1.7 million cases, respectively," the researchers wrote. "Achieving 74 percent vaccination coverage by July 31, 2021, could have reduced the case count to approximately 1.3 million cases in Florida and 1.5 million cases in Texas."
The study said more than 7 million Florida residents and 9 million Texas residents who are eligible for the vaccination remain unvaccinated, and many of them are in danger.
"If estimates through the end of July hold true, many of these people will suffer through hospitalizations, and some will likely die — making more rigorous vaccination campaigns in those states all the more imperative," they concluded.
Pratha Sah, a Yale researcher who contributed to the study, told NBC News in a statement "the U.S. has entered another wave of COVID-19 pandemic driven by the Delta variant."

"The vaccines authorized in the US are effective at preventing severe disease and hospitalizations against the Delta variant. It is therefore not surprising that there is a clear correlation between vaccination coverage and viral transmission level across the states in the US," Sah wrote.
"Accelerating vaccination coverage is critical to combat the current COVID-19 wave driven by the Delta variant and potentially other looming variants in the future," she continued.
As cases surge across the country, experts told NBC News this delta-variant-driven rise was "completely preventable" and warned it will get worse before it gets better, with the return of long testing lines and dwindling intensive care unit beds in hard-hit Southern states.
In Florida, amid heated debate over requiring masks for children as classes are set to resume within days, the federal government this week sent hundreds of ventilators to help the state respond to its record number of Covid hospitalizations.
Covid Kills 4 Teachers In One Day In Same School District August 13, 2021 at 7:28 am EDT By Taegan Goddard Four Florida teachers working in the same school district died of COVID-19 within one day of each other this week, CBS Miami reports.
Three of the teachers were unvaccinated and the vaccination status of the fourth was unknown.

Youngkin Regularly Praised Florida’s Pandemic Response

“Virginia’s Republican gubernatorial nominee Glenn Youngkin has repeatedly praised Florida Gov. “As recently as Aug. 6, as COVID-19 cases in Florida were surging, Youngkin told right-wing radio host John Fredericks that he supported DeSantis’ continued decision to ban mask wearing requirements in businesses and schools.”

Pedo fear for your life
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed on Monday that a fourth, and fatal, case of melioidosis, a rare disease that originates in South Asia, was found in Georgia, and is linked to three other cases in various states.
The four cases found in Georgia, Minnesota, Texas, and Kansas included adults and children, two of which did not have any known risk factors for melioidosis, and two of the patients died, according to the CDC.
The CDC examined the bacteria that infected the patients and found that they "closely match each other, suggesting there is a common source for these cases."
Despite the bacterial strains being close in relation to those found in South Asia, "none of the patients had traveled internationally," the CDC said.
"The bacteria normally lives in moist soil and water," the CDC explained. "However, in rare cases, it has also been found to contaminate wet or moist products in the areas where the bacteria are common."
While the CDC has yet to identify the origin of the disease after collecting and testing over 100 samples of water, soil, and products in and around the homes of the patients, it "believes the most likely cause is an imported product (such as a food or drink, personal care or cleaning products or medicine) or an ingredient in one of those types of products."
The patients were spread out across the country, and the times they contracted the illness varied. Additionally, it can take two to three weeks for someone infected with melioidosis to become sick. For those reasons, it may be difficult to identify the source, the CDC noted.
Those who are healthy can still contract melioidosis, but prior conditions such as cancer, kidney or liver disease, diabetes, chronic lung disease, or a condition weakening the immune system can increase risk. Most of the children who contract melioidosis do not have any risk factors.
"People experiencing cough, chest pain, high fever, headache or unexplained weight loss should see their doctor," the CDC advised.

The study found that the Moderna vaccine was 86% effective against infection over the study period, and Pfizer’s was 76%. Hunter Biden claims Russian drug dealers stole another one of his laptops for blackmail while he was drugged out in a Vegas hotel room in 2018
Video obtained by DailyMail.com shows Hunter with a naked hooker in 2019 after filming a sex tape and explaining how he believed his laptop was stolen

Biden has a plan,
Just a few minutes ago
The Food and Drug Administration is planning to authorize a third shot for the immune-compromised on Thursday, two sources familiar with the plans confirmed to ABC News.

Build Back Better.

Tucker Carlson gave rrb an orgasm.
Purely.

President Abraham Lincoln led the United States through its bloodiest, most divisive and most decisive period of our history.

They failed.
Hang Doctor Fauci!

I can easily guess who wrote that tripe.
The democrat leaders don't give a damn about the country. Only their own power.

The overcrowded facilities are one part of the current border crisis. Another aspect has been the vehicle crashes while transporting people trying to avoid BP. This one was last week south of Falfurrias, TX. The van had around 24 people, at least 10 were killed.

A law enforcement source told me there's been a dramatic increase in vehicle smuggling this year, leading to more crashes. In the RGV, there were three fatal car crashes in a one-week period, totaling 13 deaths. None of them were the result of the police pursuing the vehicles.

California dad killed his kids over QAnon and 'serpent DNA' conspiracy theories, feds say
NBC Universal
August 11, 2021, 7:47 PM
.
He's a murderer.
Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott vowed to take school districts to court if they implement mask mandates.
LMAO at you ballsless.
This shit is why they call you a pedophile and you eat children after you fuck them.

I could as easily call them Quislings, after the Norwegians who collaborated with the Nazis.

it would be foolish to tilt at the windmill of herd immunity.

OPINION
The white rural Americans who are still refusing the Covid vaccine
Although vaccines are a triumph of science that will save millions of lives, there is reason to doubt whether they are enough to eradicate the virus completely from the globe.
What herd immunity actually is: Infectious diseases physician explains
Even if it were possible to vaccinate all U.S. citizens, other large unvaccinated populations capable of traveling to the U.S. pose significant continued risks.

The unvaccinated are ruining it
The solution is investing in and doing the scientific and clinical research necessary to identify, discover and test new therapies.

Is it a quick-pick lotto ticket — 70, 80, 85, 90 — or just the ever-changing goal posts on the population percentage necessary to reach herd immunity against Covid-19? From the pandemic's beginning to today, there has been a seemingly endless discussion by epidemiologists, virologists and pundits predicting various vaccination thresholds to eradicate or at least contain the virus.

White House Whacks Ron DeSantis

Politico:
“For the past two weeks, Biden and his allies have publicly escalated a war of words and with DeSantis on Twitter, in speeches by the president and in White House press briefings.

Bring it.”
The true conservative position would allow local authorities to determine on public safety standards.

But the fact is that the current Republican party is an authoritarian party!

That's how Saint Ronald Reagan governed!
He gave up Zero, it only.shifted to the $3.5 Trillion dollar bill.

President Biden also used unspent funds from the covid-19 recovery bill.
Biden gave away our strategic oil and gas avantage.
"During the White House daily briefing, Bloomberg reporter Josh Wingrove asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki whether Biden was considering ways to increase domestic oil production, after sending a public letter to OPEC nations to increase production of foreign oil."
The little Wendys gorl said Outhouse Joe , has no plans to increase US Oil Production.

In 2019, when Donald Trump was president, the U.S. did achieve energy independence, something that had not happened since 1957. This switch from energy dependence to independence is not a straight line of increases, but fluctuates monthly. Since 2019 the overall trend has been more energy production than consumption -- but there have been several months when the U.S. did not produce as much energy as it consumed, including December 2019, January, February and December 2020,
U.S. becomes a net oil exporter for the first time in 75 years
The United States turned into a net oil exporter last week, breaking 75 years of continued dependence on foreign oil and marking a pivotal — though likely brief — moment toward what President Trump has branded as “energy independence.”

ROFLMFAO !!!
in 2018,
How does VERY lo iq even tie his shoes ???
Biden has a plan
So the wonderful plan is to get 2.7% of the population a third vaccination shot of the same stuff? Well if that won't stop Covid in its tracks, then what will?
Brilliant! Biden should get the Nobel Prize in medicine for this!
Either that or it's not much of anything dressed up to make it look like there is some tangible action being done. I can't quite make up my mind.

Higher vaccination rates in Texas and Florida could've saved 4,700 lives, study finds
Epidemiologists used hospitalization rates from highly vaccinated states like Connecticut and Vermont to calculate excess deaths in Texas and Florida.

CORONAVIRUSA Florida woman gave birth while battling Covid-19. She died days later.
