If anyone thinks that food prices have only gone up 4.6% over the past year they haven't been to a grocery store over that period.

Or own a restaurant.

or are only eating seaweed

Those percentage increases in that graphic are a month old.

93 octane gas here is $4.07/gal, and fuel oil and natural gas are up HUGE, just in time for seniors on fixed incomes to prepare to decide between heat they can't afford and food they can't afford.

Ginger twat Psucky will be on later to tell us how much of a good thing this is and how lucky we are.

It's not the same thing as in the 70s but it is a big problem for the President and the Democrats.

Adolf Trump melts down ahead of Jan. 6 committee vote on contempt charges for Bannon

Donald

Adolf Trump melted down over the House select committee investigation hours ahead of a vote on possible contempt charges against adviser Steve Bannon.

The select committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection will convene Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. to vote on a report recommending that Bannon be held in contempt for ignoring a subpoena, and the twice-impeached one-term president issued an angry statement through his spokeswoman Liz Harrington because he has been banned from Twitter.

"The fake, highly partisan Unselect Committee continues to rock and roll," Trump complained. "They were unable to make a deal with Kevin McCarthy to put real Republicans on the Committee, so they got stuck with low-polling warmonger Liz Cheney and Cryin' Adam Kinzinger who have no idea what our Party stands for."

"Cheney is polling in the low 20's in Wyoming, the State she doesn't represent," he continued. "This is just a continuation of the Witch Hunt which started with the now fully debunked and discredited Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, quickly reverting to a perfect phone call with Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and now this. The Unselect Committee is composed of absolute political hacks who want to destroy the Republican Party and are decimating America itself."

"I am the only thing in their way," he added. "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

You said Seig Heil the day after he was nominated by the former Republican party now

Hey roger when are you going to be able to keep on topic for even a little while and not go into a Trump TDS rant ?

Have the people in white coats given you any medication for this ?

Or are you just still stuck in your room and even abandoned by your former roommate as well as the staff ?

No one answering your bell anymore ?

Trump appears to be the last person in the United States other than you who still cares about the Jan 6th "investigation".

The rest of the country has pretty much moved on!

Trump is right that the Jan 6 committee is just a vehicle to demonize Republicans.

Don't think it will work however.

He's carrying on like the subpoena matters. 0linsky's regime ignored multiple congressional subpoena's and no one cared then. Now it suddenly is an earth-shattering eveny.

Stage IV TDS can cripple a guy. Especially an aging alcoholic with anger management issues.

Biden’s Agenda Suddenly Has Momentum

Playbook:
“Biden began pitching lawmakers on an outline for his Build Back Better plan Tuesday night. The proposal, pegged in the range of $1.75 to $1.9 trillion, is far from a done deal: Moderates and progressives will have plenty to say before giving anything their blessing. But Hill Democrats are relieved that Biden is getting his hands dirty after sitting on the sidelines for weeks.”

Punchbowl News:
“It does seem reasonable to believe Democrats can agree on a reconciliation framework before President Joe Biden heads to Italy and Scotland in 11 days. That’s a change from where things stood heading into this week, a crucial one for both the White House and party leaders on the Hill. Biden had some good meetings with House Democrats Tuesday, and for the first time in a while — weeks or months really — there’s some renewed optimism in Democratic ranks. It’s amazing what some TLC from the president can do.

“And if Democrats get a reconciliation framework agreed upon, and the feelings stay positive, maybe the House can pass the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill soon too. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has set an Oct. 31 date for that vote, and it’s critical for moderates that it happen.”
