More Biden-created problems in the United States

US consumer sentiment hits 10-year low with inflation fears surging
Americans fear White House will be unable to tame rising prices even as record numbers quit jobs.
US consumer sentiment has weakened to its lowest level in a decade, reflecting Americans’ concerns about rising prices and a belief that the Biden administration has failed to address the surge in inflation.
The University of Michigan’s consumer sentiment index slipped to 66.8 in November, according to a survey published on Friday. That was down from 71.7 in October and well below economists’ forecast for a stronger reading of 72.4. The decline in sentiment this month came amid “an escalating inflation rate and the growing belief among consumers that no effective policies have yet been developed to reduce the damage from surging inflation”, said Richard Curtin, chief economist of the university’s consumer surveys.
The Biden administration has been rushing to reassure Americans that it is focused on fighting inflation as rising prices threaten to undercut the recovery from the pandemic. That messaging took on a new urgency this week after data showed consumer prices had risen 6.2 per cent in October from a year ago, the fastest pace in 30 years, as inflationary pressures broadened throughout the economy beyond sectors linked to the reopening from the pandemic.
The problem with the Biden Administration isn't just that they do not have a real plan to deal with inflation, but that they
  • a) are trying to convince people that inflation is good
  • b) that their actual plans will cause more inflation
If they were serious about inflation they would actually put some emphasis on it and stop acting as if it is either transitory or a good thing. They would also abandon the idea of spending another 1.75 trillion dollars, which everyone who took Economics 101 knows will cause more inflation.

The Biden Federal Reserve is worthless.
Their stated aim.

"With inflation having run persistently below this longer-run goal, the Committee will aim to achieve inflation moderately above 2 percent for some time so that inflation averages 2 percent over time and longer‑term inflation expectations remain well anchored at 2 percent.Nov 3, 2021

The Republicans will never credit Sleepy Joe Biden.

Just like they did after they inherited the longest economic recovery in history.

They cut taxes and increased the deficit astronomicaly.

When the President and the Democrats get the BBB bill passed, and again when the economy continues to grow at a record pace, they will never recover from Trumpism.

If the President gets the supply system back in shape again and again the infrastructure projects moving forward quickly enough, the inflation rates will slow down, over the next year.

American workers are on strike, because they need higher wages and insurance coverage.

If the economy continues to grow at the same rate, the Democrats might hold onto the house.

Sure they will. They'll give him credit for massive price increases across the fucking board on all things that are necessary to survive. They'll give him credit for massive job losses in the energy industry.

He get's credit for completely screwing the fucking pooch in Afghanistan, and then disrespecting the fallen and their families at Dover AFB.

And best of all, he get's credit for the brazen fucking LIE that he'll "stop Covid in it's tracks."

Republicans are threatening each other.

Michigan Rep. Fred Upton, one of the Republicans who said he received death threats for voting “yes,” also disputed that he and his 12 colleagues are helping Democrats advance their other bill, which Democrats are hoping to pass next week. Instead, he said, the 13 House Republicans prevented progressives from continuing to hold up the infrastructure bill.

“We were able to cut the cord,” he said.

Rep. Andrew Garbarino (R., N.Y.), who also voted to pass the infrastructure bill, said he expects the outside threats and harsh rhetoric from colleagues to be raised at the House GOP conference meeting next week. Police in Nassau County, N.Y., arrested a 64-year-old man on Wednesday and charged him with aggravated harassment in the second degree for allegedly making a death threat against Mr. Garbarino in a phone call on Monday.

“I honestly don’t believe that any of my colleagues want me killed over an infrastructure bill,” Mr. Garbarino said of the backlash to the vote within the GOP. “But there are consequences for actions when people put misinformation online.”

As for the White House bill-signing ceremony, “I actually wish they had signed it already,” said Mr. Garbarino, who won’t attend.

I have never seen this before.

They cut taxes and increased the deficit astronomicaly.

This was, is, and will always be complete bullshit.

Letting us keep more of what we work to earn did not increase the deficit astronomically.

The spending did, and always will. 70% of federal spending is entitlements. The "free shit" the feds have been handing out since FDR created the welfare state, and LBJ tripled down on it to buy the black vote for the next 200 years.

Normal people who's income drops, for whatever reason, understand immediately that they have to spend less.

Not democrats. As we reel from inflation democrats need to spend fucking TRILLION$, and LIE that it costs "nothing."

Party like it's 1979 folks.

The deficits under Trump (pro-Covid) were reasonable and actually lower than they had been under Obama. Oddly those "tax breaks" didn't seem to cause any issues until we passed a few trillion dollars in Covid release.

Then after coincidently spending several trillion, apparently liberals like Roger believe that the problems with the large deficit was tax cuts (not the trillions in spending).

Unlike you I believe that it works both ways. But history shows that government spending has improved the economy than tax cuts.

Just go back to 2006 when the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression in the 1930's

Bill Clinton had created 21,000 jobs and the deficit was almost zero.

Under Barack Obama administration we had the longest economic recovery in history.

The last 18 months of his administration, created more manufacturing job than under the first year of Trump presidency

Then he intentionally hid the dangerous situation since 1919 and the Spanish flu.

The pandemic has been identified as the major reason for world wide inflation.

Presidential have very little power over inflation rates.

A blue-collar blueprint to rebuild America: The Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal

What’s in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal? Jobs. This historic legislation is a blue-collar blueprint to rebuild America. A majority of these jobs don’t even require a college degree.

We are going to invest in the health and safety of our communities, tackle the climate crisis, and create opportunity by:

Putting pipefitters and plumbers to work replacing lead water pipes so every child and American can drink clean water.
Transforming rail, roads, bridges, public transit and modernizing our ports and airports and freight rail.

Manufacturing solar panels, wind farms, batteries, and electric vehicles to grow clean energy supply chains we can export to the world.

Building out the first-ever national network of charging stations so families can travel coast-to-coast in electric vehicles.

Making high-speed internet affordable and available for every household in America.

America is getting back to work

This week, we learned some promising news about the economy: We’ve had six consecutive weeks of decline in new unemployment claims. The number of workers losing their jobs is at the lowest level since the pandemic began. Unemployment claims are down 70% since January, when President Biden took office -- and they are falling at the fastest rate since the 1950s.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Passing President Biden’s Build Back Better plan is critical to continuing our recovery. The Build Back Better Framework will create good-paying jobs and directly lower costs for families by providing more affordable health coverage, child care, elder care, energy, and prescription drugs -- all without raising taxes on those making less than $400,000 or adding to the federal debt.

The American Thinker believes nothing beats the government campaign against those enemies of the people and vile counterrevolutionary saboteurs -- parents of school-age children.

This is, evidently, a product of the mind of Merrick Garland. Anyone opposing Mitch McConnell needs to hold onto the thought that Cocaine Mitch prevented this creature from sitting on the Supreme Court.

This past year has revealed Garland to be a petty, vicious, small-minded bureaucrat. But his “domestic terrorist” order, identifying parents of schoolchildren as enemies of the state, has also revealed him to be a complete idiot.

Garland was triggered by an incident in Loudoun County, Virginia, in which a member of a government protected class – a male transexual – followed a young girl into a high-school bathroom and raped her in a particularly repellent fashion. Cops looked the other way, the school and school board initiated a coverup, and it looked as if Tootsie, Jr. was going to walk until the girl’s father, Steven Smith, showed up at the next school board meeting.

When Smith attempted to speak, the board declared the meeting a “public disturbance” and sicced the cops on him. The cops put Smith under arrest, attempting to humiliate him by tearing his pants off. Smith was booked on a series of specious charges.

A short time later the transexual rapist was also “arrested” – picked up and almost instantly released. Shortly after the start of the next school year, he attacked another child under similar circumstances.

The National Association of School Boards appealed to the regime to put an end to all this unseemly uproar. Garland attempted to do so by labelling school board critics “domestic terrorists” and threatening action through the FBI, going so far to refer to Smith in particular. Don’t ever let it be said that you don’t know what “domestic terrorist” means – according to the Department of Justice, it’s a father whose young daughter has been raped.

How far Garland intends to take it is difficult to say. Armored tactical teams pouring into school board meetings when somebody at the mike speaks a trigger word? Agents in varsity jackets sitting in the rear, taking surreptitious photos of attendees? Agents in dark suits and mirrorshades standing behind the school boards, glaring out at the assembled parents?

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

None of this is going to happen. In fact, nothing at all will. It was something far more than simply a stupid move. It was an impossible one.

There are nearly 700,000 cops in the U.S., 3.5 million truckers, nearly ten million health-care workers. But the number of parents, at over 63 million dwarfs them all. The Biden administration has made enemies of every last one.

Parents, particularly parents of school-age children, tend to inhabit a particular space along the political spectrum. They are quintessential moderates, middle-of-the-roaders who loathe extremes and yearn for   stability above all, a steady environment in which to raise their families in peace and security. “Independents” is not the word – they are largely vote-splitters who cast their ballots for the least radical or frightening candidate of either party. They are easily gulled, easily led by platitudes and bogus promises. Many likely voted for Grandpa Joe as opposed to the fiery-haired monster knocking down buildings and frightening the horses. All this is now ended.

We saw the first consequence of the war between the woke left and America’s parents became apparent earlier this month. The left lost one gleaming jewel in its blue state crown and came with inches of losing another (and if it wasn’t for the standard bogus vote from Essex and Hudson counties, Phil Murphy would be packing his bags right now). There’s no debating this conclusion: Terry McAuliffe directly and repeatedly challenged parents, and they responded.

But that’s far from the end of it. The American Left has kicked open a door. The law of karma is simple: when you do that, you have to accept whatever comes through. That door is still swinging wide, and mammoth footfalls can be heard approaching.

‘Banana Republic’: Biden DOJ Indicts Steve Bannon For Contempt of Congress

By Debra Heine

November 12, 2021

Former Trump advisor Stephen K. Bannon was indicted on Friday by a federal grand jury on two counts of contempt of Congress stemming from his refusal to comply with a subpoena issued by the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. Bannon is facing a maximum sentence of a year in jail, as well as a fine of $100 to $1,000.

This comes one week after federal agents raided Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe’s home in New York over the missing diary of Joe Biden’s daughter, Ashley Biden.

“Bannon, 67, is charged with one contempt count involving his refusal to appear for a deposition and another involving his refusal to produce documents, despite a subpoena from the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol,” the Department of Justice said in a press release. “An arraignment date has not yet been set in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.”

Over nine years ago, then-attorney general Eric Holder was held in contempt of Congress after he ignored a subpoena related to the criminal and deadly Fast and Furious scandal. Holder was never prosecuted for thumbing his nose at the Republican-led Congress. Other officials who have defied congressional subpoenas over the years reportedly include Henry Kissinger, Janet Reno, Harriet Miers, Joshua Bolton, Lois Lerner, Bryan Pagliano, Bill Barr, and Chad Wolf.

While Republican critics are denouncing the DOJ’s action as a “banana republic” display, Attorney General Merrick Garland today characterized it a “steadfast commitment” to legal principles—including “equal justice under the law.”

Good chance the judge will toss out the charges for interfering with Bannon right to litigate the subpoenas and not given Bannon enough time to comply should he lose.

I mean the DOJ didn't even wait for the court order to tell him to comply before they swooped in with indictments.

I will be eternally grateful to Mitch McConnell for keeping this gestapo clown off the Supreme Court.

Build Back Better 2.0 Still Raises Taxes For High Income Households And Reduces Them For Others

In a new analysis, the Tax Policy Center estimates that the major tax changes in the latest version of President Biden’s Build Back Better plan would cut taxes on average for nearly all income groups in 2022. The exception: Those in the top 1 percent, who will make about $885,000 or more. They’d pay about $55,000 more than under current law. Those in the top 0.1 percent, who make about $4 million and up, would pay an additional $585,000 on average, a 5.9 percent reduction in their after-tax income.

Looking only at direct taxes—individual income taxes and payroll taxes—the plan also would cut 2022 taxes on average for every income group except those in the top 1 percent. The highest-income households would face roughly the same increase in direct taxes in 2022 as they would with all major provisions.

I guess there is still a bunch of interpretations made to who gets fucked and who does not......IMHO.....me thinks the middle class will be just fine!!!!!! The goat fucker will naturally be contrarian based on what little he knows!!!!!!!
