In reality there is no real criminal statute being pursued. The diary was bought and paid for by Project Veritas. Even if it was apparently stolen when Project Veritas bought it, we have decriminalized pretty much any petty theft of anything. You can walk into a Target, walk out with any item under $1000 and sell it in the parking lot without legal repercussions. That is the law of the liberal.
There is no way the FBI gets involved in breaking down doors with midnight raids looking for a stolen book probably with no literal net worth value. Unless the book in question has political ramifications. To believe differently... well... I don't think anyone really can. Neither could anyone ever find any other examples of federal law enforcement getting involved in a petty theft of a diary.
The media has been downplaying the contents of the diary, declaring Ashley Biden to be a troubled child with addiction problems. Obviously troubled children with addiction problems cannot be trusted to tell things like the truth. In reality Ashley Biden has had a fairly accomplished life for a woman of 40. While she might have had some issues growing up, that does not mean that she was a liar.
The diary suggests that Ashley Biden was sexually molested growing up. Obviously we all know who she is accusing of molesting her. Obviously we also know why it was so important to downplay, threaten, attack, and use the full force of the FBI and the liberal MSM to undermine these allegations.
In addition to a stolen laptop showing our current President involved in international monetary scams, we have a diary showing our current President being accused of sexually molesting his own daughter. Would he be the President today had those to revelations been allowed to be told?

Michael Osterholm, who served on Biden’s coronavirus advisory team during the transition, said in an appearance on CNN that the health care system could be overwhelmed as omicron becomes more prevalent in the U.S.

Christmas didn’t really need saving, but former President Donald Trump is — again — claiming he did it anyway.
He revived the annual lie when prompted during an interview on Newsmax with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R), who insisted that “America had gone through a long period where people quit saying ‘Merry Christmas.’”

“It was all, ‘happy holidays,’” Huckabee said. “You deliberately changed that and openly said, ‘Merry Christmas.’ We’re going to say it again.”
Trump claimed that, before his campaign, the country had “started with this woke” trend that made it “embarrassing for stores to say ‘Merry Christmas.’”
“They’d use reds and they’d use whites and snow but they wouldn’t say ‘Merry Christmas,’” he claimed. “When I started campaigning I said, ‘You’re going to say “Merry Christmas” again,’ and now people are saying it.”
“I would say it all the time during that period, that we want them to say ‘Merry Christmas.’ Don’t shop at stores that don’t say ‘Merry Christmas’ and I’ll tell you, we brought it back very quickly,” he added.
Trump routinely claims at random intervals throughout the year that he brought back the use of the Christmas-specific phrase. Though “happy holidays” can be used as a more inclusive festive greeting, neither Christmas nor the phrase have ever been unpopular in stores or otherwise. Former President Barack Obama often wished people a merry Christmas and Trump has used the happy holidays greeting, as have many of his his businesses.
He’s also claimed that people want to change the name of Thanksgiving — and that he, of course, would be there to save it.

The “War on Christmas” was made up by conservative media and politicians to claim that liberals want to eliminate Christianity from American life. Fox News, which frequently propagates the myth, brought its “War on Christmas” programming back before Halloween this year.

Turning to the Christmas story for relief from politics
Sick and tired of the constantly disturbing news, we turn to the Christmas story for relief. Surely in the beautiful Christmas narrative we can find respite from all the hateful language, all the negative, divisive infighting that is so rampant in American politics today. Surely we can there find relief from the incessant demand that we must side either with the Republicans or with the Democrats.
And so we turn to this Sunday’s gospel scriptures, and there we discover a text in which the author of Luke relates what the mother of Jesus must have predicted about his arrival:
“God has shown great strength with his arm,” Mary says. “He has dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart. He has brought down the mighty from their thrones, but lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away.”
Oh no! we tell ourselves, for Mary’s words challenge us to choose whose side we are on, requiring us to side with those politicians who are most committed to “bringing down” the powerful from their “thrones.” Her words challenge us to side with those who are most committed to dislodging the selfish wealthy from their positions of greedy dominance, thereby “sending the rich away empty” and “lifting up the lowly” and “filling the hungry with good things.”
In that way, political realities come barging right into the Christmas story, right into the narrative of the low-born baby who as an adult criticized the rich for their selfish greed, warning them that “you cannot serve two masters, for you cannot serve both God and money,” and admonishing all of us to care for the poor, the ostracized, the outcasts, including even the least and last of people, no matter who or what or where they are.
Contradicting the distortions of far too many politicians, Jesus warns us to “guard yourselves against every form of greed, for your life does not consist in the abundance of your possessions. For I myself,” he reminds us, “did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give my life for all.”
And this, actually, is good news. For if taken seriously, Jesus frees us from the delusion that greed can make us happy, and invites us to stand instead with and among the humble in heart who know true blessedness.

But three ferociously partisan retired generals are thinking ahead, publishing an op-ed in the Washington Post Friday, which warns that those dastardly Trump supporters would certainly stage an “insurrection” in 2024, so the military must start preparing now to “preserve our democracy,” that is, destroy our republic.
