The Biden Pentagon is obsessed with “extremism.” The moment Lloyd Austin was confirmed as Biden’s Defense Secretary, he put the entire military on a 60-day stand down to purge “extremism” in the ranks. Apparently, that stand down was ineffective because Austin is back again, this time with new rules that are again meant to counter “extremism” by preventing troops from engaging in “extremist” activities. The wise and/or paranoid among us believe that those new rules are an effort to clear the ranks of conservatives, especially Trump supporters (and, I bet, DeSantis supporters).
Ostensibly, the newly issued rules for “handling protest, extremist, and criminal gang activities in the Armed Forces,” state some obvious things that troops aren’t allowed to do, such as political violence, supporting terrorism, etc. These general descriptions of bad things allow the Pentagon enormous leeway in penalizing troops who have political views that are inconsistent with the Biden administration’s goals. We already know that, for help figuring out what extremists are, the Pentagon relies on the Southern Poverty Law Center, a hard-left organization that defines anything that’s not leftist as terrorist or extremist.
We also know that the obsession that requires a whole new set of rules is inconsistent with the current data about actual “extremism” in the ranks. Although the U.S. military has around 1.3 million active-duty personal, the AP article breaking the news about the rule changes concedes that only about 0.008% of the military is official “extremist”:
According to the Pentagon, fewer than 100 military members are known to have been involved in substantiated cases of extremist activity in the past year.
Nevertheless, there’s that fear about “recent spikes in domestic violent extremism, particularly among veterans.” Who believes, as I do, that both the AP and the Pentagon, when they speak of “domestic violent extremism, particularly among veterans,” are thinking about the imaginary insurrection on January 6?
It’s scarcely a coincidence that these new rules appeared just as three retired generals announced in the pages of the Washington Post, that the United States is at such risk of an insurrection in the 2024 election, that the military must purge itself of extremists so that a purified military can instantly take control of the U.S. if the 2024 election doesn’t see a Democrat returned to the White House. As part of their justification for a military coup, the generals define the events on January 6 as an “insurrection” and note (horrors!) that there were veterans there.
I happen to believe that there was indeed some sort of insurrection on January 6. My belief is premised on the compelling case The Revolver makes about the events of that day, something it backs with backed by reams of publicly available data. The data show that an organized cadre of individuals loudly and aggressively encouraged entry into the Capitol. Additionally, they engaged in deliberate behavior (stripping barriers and signs) that ensured that people drifting over to the Capitol after Trump’s speech would be unaware that they were entering onto ground that, while normally open to the public, had been declared off-limits for the day.
The meticulous planning and the orderly way in which these acts were conducted suggests that an organization, whether in the government or the military, planned and carried out the entrapment (1) to cow private individuals from objecting to Biden’s government and (2) to allow for precisely the military purge the generals suggest and the new rules authorize. I know I sound utterly paranoid when I write those words, but others are thinking along the same lines—and bringing the receipts to prove it.
So no, I don’t think there’s anything random about the timing of the newly promulgated rules, about the Soviet-style January 6 committee, or about the three generals openly justifying a coup at the next election. There’s a deliberate plan here and, while I can see it forming, I have absolutely no idea how we can challenge it.

Does Hillary want civil war? Doubtful. Her calculations are shorter term and always self-interested. Her comments are a way of recapturing centerstage in her party. Her eye is on a 2024 presidential run, so her words were meant to grab attention and galvanize the Democrat base. Hillary wants to lead the charge, starting with the midterms, to boost her White House prospects.
Hillary’s maudlin reading of her never-was 2016 victory speech was pretense. Okay, could 74-year-old Hillary have been wallowing in a very public display of self-pity? Perhaps, but she may have thought that her reading would rally the feminized Democrat rank-and-file, which fetishizes feelings and laps up displays of emotion.
When it comes to Hillary’s comments, remember the critical takeaway is that words have consequences, particularly when uttered by a personage with high public profile. Hillary knows her target audience. Her words are red meat for them.
The Clintons are about two things: power and money. Both are grifters of the first order. It’s not that they brought corruption to Washington in the mid-1990s, but they certainly supercharged it. It’s been downhill ever since. The corruption today that permeates government and society may be historic in scope.
Whatever wreckage Bill and Hillary leave in their wakes is always someone’s else’s trouble. If Hillary’s baloney stokes fears and enflames the passions of her party’s faithful, so be it. Hillary’s ends justify any means. The nation will be left to grapple with the conflicts and clean up the mess caused by her rabblerousing. Such is often the legacies of charlatans and demagogues.
Sleepy Joe Can’t Explain Why He Slumbered On COVID Testing After 12 Months To Prepare!
President Joe Biden is now faced with the same issues that plagued the final year of the Trump presidency, only this time the president had 12 months to prepare.
On Tuesday, Biden addressed reporters on the administration’s efforts to ramp up testing as the nation confronts a new wave of the coronavirus pandemic introduced by the Omicron variant.
“This is not March of 2020,” Biden said. “Two hundred million people are vaccinated. We’re prepared; we know more.”
Except, just as abysmal testing at the surprise onset of the pandemic nearly two years ago was billed as a failure of the Trump administration, poor capability of meeting testing demand today is back in the headlines.
At the White House, Biden announced the military deployment of 1,000 medical professionals to coincide with construction of new vaccination and testing sites and a bulk order of 500 million rapid COVID-19 tests that would begin distribution in January.
The president also continued to scapegoat the unvaccinated as purveyors of the pandemic, despite infection in vaccinated people who continue to spread the virus.
The president’s speech was less reassuring of the 79-year-old president’s capacity to deliver on promises to manage the coronavirus. After fumbling through the brief address, Biden pivoted to questions seemingly out of nowhere.
“Let me answer some questions,” the president said, abruptly concluding his remarks mid-sentence.
Biden was peppered with questions surrounding the administration’s failure to prepare for a COVID surge that would require the radical expansion of rapid testing.
“Public health officials have been saying for months you need to surge rapid tests for just this moment,” said CNN’s Phil Mattingly. “Is it a failure that you don’t have an adequate amount of tests for everyone to be able to get one if they need one right now?”
Biden explained the shortage as a consequence of the coronavirus “spreading so rapidly.”
“It just happened almost overnight, just in the last month,” Biden said, 14 months after the president hinged his entire candidacy on shutting down the virus. Biden entered office with two effective vaccines immunizing 1.3 million Americans a day.
PBS Reporter Yamiche Alcindor pressed the president to offer a “message to Americans who are trying to get tested now, and who are are not able to get tested and who are wondering what took so long to ramp up testing.”
“C’mon, what took so long?” said Biden. “What took so long is it didn’t take long at all. What happened was, the Omicron virus spread more rapidly than anybody thought.”
When the topic pivoted to the president’s signature legislation, the “Build Back Better” bill set up to fail in the Senate following West Virginia Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin’s opposition, Biden touted the bill’s importance before cutting himself off.
“I’m not supposed to be having this press conference right now,” Biden said.
Hey goat fucker.....my old company has lots of job openings.....you might even be able to find one there if you try....but your lazy bones will win.....BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Weeks after Kyle Rittenhouse said he wanted to “lay low” when he was found not guilty of homicide, attempted homicide and other charges related to last year’s fatal shootings that rocked Kenosha, Wis., the teen was welcomed Monday at a conservative conference to music, pyrotechnics and a standing ovation from thousands of attendees.
“You’re a hero to millions,” Turning Point USA leader Charlie Kirk told Rittenhouse during the group’s AmericaFest gathering in Phoenix. “It’s an honor to be able to have you.”
The new faces of the GOP!!!! Boebert, Greene, and Rittenhouse........all citizens that we can be proud of!!!!! A murderer, a bigot and a racist!!!!!!! BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Omicron erupted at a precarious moment for the president, who ran on a promise to curb the pandemic, only to be confronted with a shape-shifting virus that is now claiming more than 1,000 American lives every day. It is also a divisive political climate in which many Americans, particularly supporters of former President Donald J. Trump, have refused to get vaccinated.
In his remarks, Mr. Biden acknowledged the former president, noting that Mr. Trump recently said he had received a booster shot, and that “thanks to the prior administration and the scientific community, America is one of the first countries to get the vaccine.”
In a remark sure to raise eyebrows, Biden said that “when I first started the vaccination program and we got all that vaccine, enough for everyone, we were vaccinating 3 million people a day, we were getting very close before things began to slow down.” body bag biden
For around 100 years, the generally accepted principle about viruses, which Theobald Smith, a pioneering epidemiologist articulated, is that they are subject to “the law of declining virulence” which sees them enter into a fairly benign relationship with humans over time. However, since COVID, that principle is suddenly being challenged.
There is, of course, one good reason to question the principle’s applicability to COVID right off the bat and that’s the fact that COVID is not a naturally occurring virus. The Chinese, with help from Tony Fauci, engineered it in a lab, so it may have different long-term properties. However, the Omicron variant, which is highly contagious but incredibly mild (there’s only been one confirmed American death to date in a man with significant comorbidities), certainly seems to confirm Smith’s rule.
But as I said, in a COVID era, all sorts of publications from pro-vaccine types insist that viruses actually get more virulent so nobody should assume COVID will go away without human intervention. However, if you read the articles warning against “the law of declining virulence,” you might notice that most of the examples of viruses that became more virulent did so because of human intervention:

New York State is still losing people at a higher rate than any other state.
Preliminary Census numbers show the state's population fell by 319,000 -- or 1.6 % -- in the 12 months ending this past July. It's the second straight year the state has led the country in population loss. Most of the decline has been upstate. Net migration out of the state totaled more than 350,000 people. New births and immigration only slightly reduced that total population loss.
Thecoldheartedtruth is the fact that the covid-19 virus and the new viruses that evolve will be part of our lives, possibly forever.
The only virus disease we have destroyed is smallpox. It existed for over 3,000 years and killed millions, especially when the Europeans came to America and infected the Native American who had never been exposed before 1492.
The only way to handle this horror story is get every single person immunized, and unfortunately probably every year or less.
Wrap Speed was the greatest accomplishment by Trump
Sales of previously owned homes in November rose 1.9% from October to 6.46 million units, according to the National Association of Realtors’ seasonally adjusted count. Sales were 2.0% lower than November 2020.
These sales reflect home closings, so contracts that were likely signed in September and October.
Regionally, month-to-month, sales in the Northeast were unchanged. In the Midwest, they rose 0.7% and in the South they rose 2.9%. In the West, sales increased 2.3%.
Sales likely increased due to a strengthening job market and concerns among potential buyers that mortgage rates will be significantly higher next year, according to the NAR’s chief economist Lawrence Yun.
There were 1.11 million homes for sale at the end of November, down 13% year over year. At the current sales pace that represents a 2.1-month supply.
“New listings are coming on the market, but they are being snatched up quickly,” said Yun, who added that he expects to see a further decline in inventory in December.
That tight supply continued to put upward pressure on home prices. The median price of an existing home sold in November was $353,900. That is a 13.9% gain from November of 2020. Price gains are slowing from earlier annual gains of about 20%.
(CNN)President Joe Biden is struggling in the minds of the American public. While his approval rating is down on a slew of issues, his difficulties are perhaps most noticeable on the economy.
Biden now sports the lowest net economic rating of any president at this point through their first term since at least Jimmy Carter in 1977. In the latest CNN/SSRS poll, Biden comes in with a 44% approval rating to 55% disapproval rating among registered voters on his economic performance. This makes for a -9 point net approval rating. The average of all polls taken in December is quite similar with Biden at -13 points on the economy.
To put that in perspective, the average president at this point in the last 44 years (since we have been polling on the topic) had a net economic approval rating of +5 points. That means Biden's is 18 points worse than the average.
The share of sales to first-time buyers was just 26%, down from 32% in November of 2020. The share of sales to investors was 15%, up from 14% the year before.
Slow Joe proves what we've been saying for decades - government is NOT the answer.:
Those liberal geniuses who told us they could manage the economy like a well-honed machine have managed to create the highest inflation in nearly 40 years, eroding real wages and imperiling economic stability. The brilliant ideologues who run our cities have presided over a surge in violent crime that has reduced life for many residents to a real-life dystopia. Those omniscient technocrats who know how to devise and implement a humane and functioning immigration policy have left us with a border in name only and chaos and lawlessness to accompany it. The strategic geniuses who told us “America is back” produced a debacle in Afghanistan whose full ramifications for U.S. security we haven’t even begun to see.

Mark my words: The focus on testing is to increase “cases” to fuel Dem argument for universal mail-in voting for 2022. If we were focusing on actual health, they would spend the ‘free tests’ money funding therapeutics & treatment for those who are still getting sick.
(CNN)President Joe Biden on Wednesday touted progress his administration has made in alleviating supply chain issues that have spurred shortages of consumer products, raised prices for Americans and contributed significantly to historic levels of inflation in the United States.
"Packages are moving, gifts are being delivered and shelves are not empty," Biden said at the White House.
Biden on Wednesday received a progress report from members of his Cabinet and private sector CEOs on efforts to tackle supply chain issues, lower consumer prices and keep shelves stocked amid the holiday season.
The meeting comes as the Omicron variant threatens to put renewed pressure on global supply chains that were thrown into chaos amid the pandemic -- something the administration says it is watching closely.
The administration has taken several steps to address these issues, and there is evidence that bottlenecks are beginning to unclog. But businesses are still grappling with a shortage of truck drivers and some critical components, including computer chips, remain scarce.
Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Department of Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, Department of Labor Secretary Marty Walsh, Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, National Economic Council Director Brian Deese and Port Envoy John Porcari will all attend the meeting on Wednesday.
Fred Smith, CEO of FedEx; Darren Hawkins, CEO of Yellow Corp; Christopher Connor, CEO of the American Association of Port Authorities; Sonia Syngal, CEO of GAP and Dave Harrison, executive director of Fastport, will attend the meeting as well.
Last month, Biden held a meeting with the CEOs of a number of major retailers and grocers to discuss the holiday shopping season. Following that meeting, the President assured Americans that shelves would be stocked and that the US was "heading into the holiday season in very strong shape."
The administration has taken several steps to address the supply chain issues. This week, the administration is announcing $230 million in Port Infrastructure Development Grants, which the White House says is the only federal grant program dedicated to port infrastructure. The administration also recently announced its Trucking Action Plan to recruit and retain more truck drivers by improving the quality of the job.
In October, Biden directed his administration to work with companies and ports on a "90-day sprint" to alleviate bottlenecks. The Port of Los Angeles was moved to 24/7 service, which brought it into line with operations at the Port of Long Beach, which is already working on a 24/7 schedule. Those two ports handle 40% of container traffic in the US.
The administration also worked with the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach last month to impose a fee on ocean carriers if their cargo sits on docks for more than eight days. The White House says since then, the number of containers sitting on the docks for more than eight days has fallen by nearly 50%. The White House also says the price of shipping a container between Asia and the West Coast has fallen by more than 25% since its peak in September.
Just like I have been a for months because the President has little authority to do more about the inflation rates except the supply chain issues.

There's only one problem alky...
Slow Joe and his merry band of assclowns have had absolutely nothing to do with it.
Talkers are out at the White House this morning.
This story doesn’t suggest Biden had anything to do with it, and makes clear problems still persist for a lot of people.
But we haven’t seen the WH seize this hard since they were pushing for positive stories on Afghanistan.
In September I said that would decrease inflation pressure on goods and services like chips.

WASHINGTON — Joe Manchin joined fellow Senate Democrats for a special caucus meeting Tuesday night about next steps for the Build Back Better Act, just two days after he said he could not support President Joe Biden’s signature legislation.
Multiple sources familiar with the call confirmed that Manchin, D-W.Va., attended.
The meeting, which took place virtually, comes at a precarious moment for Biden. Manchin's declaration Sunday that he could not vote for the House-passed version of the bill threw its prospects into doubt and left the White House scrambling to salvage the nearly $2 trillion package.
“I know we are all frustrated at this outcome. However, we are not giving up on BBB. Period. We won’t stop working on it until we pass a bill,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said in the meeting, according to a Democratic source, who added that the call lasted more than 90 minutes.
A source familiar with Manchin's thinking said he mostly listened and let everyone say their piece. Manchin spoke in the beginning, largely reiterating his concerns with the bill, the source said.
Schumer highlighted the stakes of the bill in his remarks, noting that some economists have said they will downgrade their growth forecasts if the legislation does not pass, the Democratic source said.
“This evening Senator Manchin had an honest conversation with his colleagues for whom he has a great deal of respect,” said Sam Runyon, a spokeswoman for Manchin.
Schumer said on the call that the Senate would vote on a revised version of the Build Back Better Act and a potential rules change — if Republicans do not drop the filibuster — early in the new year. Both endeavors hinge, in large part, on Manchin, the linchpin of the 50-50 Senate.
Changing the filibuster rules would allow a vote on sweeping legislation to expand access to the ballot box and safeguard against election subversion. The legislation is a high priority for Biden, Democratic lawmakers and progressive advocates.
Democrats scramble to save Biden’s agenda in face of Manchin’s opposition Schumer said in a letter to colleagues Monday that "the right to vote is the cornerstone of our democracy," and he accused Republicans of using the filibuster to protect "voter suppression and election nullification laws" in GOP-led states.
"If Senate Republicans continue to abuse the filibuster and prevent the body from considering this bill, the Senate will then consider changes to any rules which prevent us from debating and reaching final conclusion on important legislation," he wrote.
Are you suggesting that a citizen of the United states found not guilty of a criminal charge can just be called a murderer because you were too stupid to follow the trial?
Or what, exactly are you trying to actually say here?
Calling Rittenhouse a murderer is costing people money!
In case you didn't notice, a day after saying he was a firm no on BBB, Joe Manchin said he talked to the president and was open to further negotiations after all. So early next year discussions will continue.
With any luck, we're all a little bit clearer on what each side wants, so perhaps talks will move more smoothly. Biden really wants an expanded CTC, and Manchin might be open to that if there's some kind of phase-in or work requirement. Manchin wants fewer, fully funded programs, and perhaps Biden can work with that.
Manchin also says he wants to focus on repealing the 2017 Republican tax cut, which is kind of odd since he opposes raising corporate taxes back to their pre-2017 level. I dunno. Maybe he's changed his mind.
Anyway, we're back to square one, but things are no longer looking hopeless.
You brought up Rittenhouse, not anyone else. Nobody here has been "cheering for him". Most of us (like the entire jury and most every legal expert) thought he had a valid self defense claim.
You just disagree 100% because of your politics and because at the end of the day three criminals are better people in your mind than a 17 year old kid because the criminals are liberals and the 17 year old is not.
Rat is right... still clinging to the idea that the three liberal criminals were in the right to attack a 17 year boy because he is conservative is pathological and downright dangerously deluded. You seriously need help.
Or more help than you are getting, because it's obviously not enough.
ouse, not anyone else. Nobody here has been "cheering for him"

An acquired murder is a new conservative hero!

Ch didn't mention that!

California is a close 2nd, 175,000 lose in population.

Great news for homeowners.
So "Sales were 2.0% lower than November 2020."
Is great news, God you are really actually a stupid dumb broke and broken fucktard.

Breaking news. BBB is not dead
Democrats scramble to save Biden’s agenda in face of Manchin’s opposition
Schumer said in a letter to colleagues Monday that "the right to vote is the cornerstone of our democracy," and he accused Republicans of using the filibuster to protect "voter suppression and election nullification laws" in GOP-led states.
"If Senate Republicans continue to abuse the filibuster and prevent the body from considering this bill, the Senate will then consider changes to any rules which prevent us from debating and reaching final conclusion on important legislation," he wrote.

What's an acquitted murder, Roger?
Are you suggesting that a citizen of the United states found not guilty of a criminal charge can just be called a murderer because you were too stupid to follow the trial?
Or what, exactly are you trying to actually say here?
Calling Rittenhouse a murderer is costing people money!
Manchin’s “no” has turned into a “maybe”
It's my personal opinion.
Under the law he is innocent.
