The COVID-19 digital vax pass is the Panzer tank of the next wave of the global public health Blitzkrieg. If a person complies and gets their COVID-19 shots, they get a personal QR code. They can show this code on their smart phone to participate in society. This plan is being rolled out around the world and has spread from Israel to Europe to Australia, and now has been established in the most strategic U.S. cities including Washington D.C., New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Some people with a whole lot of power are now seizing a whole lot more power in the name of public health.
In Israel it has been used the longest. They call it the Green Pass, also translated as “Green Mark.” Israel first used it back in the spring and reinstated it in August. Under this program, your smart phone shows your Green Mark QR code to validate that you’re up to date on your Pfizer COVID shots. With the pass, you’re allowed to be served at a restaurant; you can enter a library or the community pool; you can visit your elderly mom at the nursing home. Some employers require it. Until recently in Israel, if you got your two Pfizer COVID-19 shots, your QR code would be activated. But starting Oct. 3, shots received over six months ago, voided the passport. The 3rd shot, the booster, was required. This applies to everyone ages twelve and up.
There is an important guidance for COVID-19 vax passports that the World Health Organization published at the end of August 2021. The title of this guidance is Technical Specifications and Implementation Guidance on Digital Documentation of Covid-19 Certificates. This “Guidance” provides direction to countries as they issue digital COVID-19 vax passes, so that all these will meet common standards and potentially function together.
Guess who paid for the work? Under the acknowledgements, it says that the work was funded by Bill Gates’ foundation and four other funders.

Since May 2021, people living in counties that voted heavily for Donald Trump during the last presidential election have been nearly three times as likely to die from COVID-19 as those who live in areas that went for now-President Biden. That's according to a new analysis by NPR that examines how political polarization and misinformation are driving a significant share of the deaths in the pandemic.
NPR looked at deaths per 100,000 people in roughly 3,000 counties across the U.S. from May 2021, the point at which vaccinations widely became available. People living in counties that went 60% or higher for Trump in November 2020 had 2.73 times the death rates of those that went for Biden. Counties with an even higher share of the vote for Trump saw higher COVID-19 mortality rates.
In October, the reddest tenth of the country saw death rates that were six times higher than the bluest tenth, according to Charles Gaba, an independent health care analyst who's been tracking partisanship trends during the pandemic and helped to review NPR's methodology. Those numbers have dropped slightly in recent weeks, Gaba says: "It's back down to around 5.5 times higher."
Hospitalizations are up, too, although not as much as cases. Nearly 71,000 Americans are hospitalized with Covid-19, 8 percent higher than the previous week but still well below previous peaks.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday that people who test positive for Covid-19 but have no symptoms should isolate for five days, down from the previous recommendation of 10 days.
The agency attributed the change to growing evidence that the virus is most infectious in the two or three days after symptoms arise.
In addition to cutting the time in half for isolation, the CDC said that for people who are asymptomatic, an additional five days of wearing a mask when around others is recommended.

1619 Project Author ‘Doesn’t Understand’ Why Parents Want a Role in Their Children’s Education

Nikole Hannah Jones, the architect of the New York Times’ controversial and anti-American “1619 Project” admitted in an interview that she does not believe parents have a right to determine what their children should learn in schools, according to Fox News.
On the most recent episode of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” host Chuck Todd had Jones on as a guest as part of the episode’s broader theme of “Schools, America, and Race.” Todd asked Jones if she intended “for The 1619 Project to become public school curriculum,” or if she instead wished for it “to start a debate to improve the curriculum of how we teach American history?”
Jones claimed that, although 1619 started out as a “work of journalism,” she believes that it has since involved into “a great learning tool for students.” She pointed to the Times’ partnership with the Pulitzer Center, which together, Jones says, “are constantly turning works of journalism into curriculum.”
When asked about the backlash that the project has faced, she responded by falsely claiming that 1619, and the broader subject of Critical Race Theory, of which 1619 is a prime example, “only became controversial because people have decided to make [it] controversial.”
“I don’t really understand this idea that parents should decide what’s being taught,” Jones continued, before admitting to her lack of expertise in the area. “I’m not a professional educator. I don’t have a degree in social studies or science…we send our children to school because we want them to be taught by people who have expertise in the subject area. And that is not my job.”

In late August, seven U.S. Capitol Police officers who were attacked and beaten during the Capitol riot filed a lawsuit against Trump, his allies, and members of far-right extremist groups, including the Proud Boys, accusing them of intentionally sending a violent mob on Jan. 6 to disrupt the congressional certification of the election, the Associated Press reported at the time.
Bloomberg reports that the former President is seeking to get the suit tossed, arguing that speakers at political rallies don’t have a “legally enforceable duty of care” to adversaries or others “who might find themselves in the path of impassioned supporters.”
Trump argued in a court filing that the lawsuit should be dismissed because the former President isn’t “vicariously liable” for the actions of people who heard him speak at a “Stop the Steal” rally before the Capitol was attacked.
“Speakers at political rallies do not owe a duty of care to members of Congress or Capitol Police Officers not at the rally,” Trump’s lawyer Jesse Binnall said in the Dec. 24 filing in federal court, the outlet reports.
Trump argued in the filing that his remarks near the White House were in line with a president’s right to “take advantage of the bully pulpit.”
He then threw the Proud Boys under the bus.
‘The complaint, which also names right-wing groups like the Proud Boys, alleges many of the defendants “planned, aided, and actively participated in that attack” and that “all defendants are responsible for it,” ‘the outlet reports. ‘The officers also claim the plot was steeped in “racism and white supremacy.”‘
Trump alleged in the filing that he “acted responsibly” during the speech and that he had “simply called for peaceful and patriotic demonstrations.” According to Bloomberg, the former President also denied that he was threatening violence when he said it was “a very dangerous moment in our history” and that people are “not going to stand having this election stolen from them.”
