Liberals fall for another anti-Trump hoax!!!

First it was the Russian collusion, then it was the good people hoax, then there was the 25th Amendment hoax, then there was the election coup hoax (which is still going on), and more hoaxes than we can even count. Now the Democrats have released their latest hoax and their faithful followers fall for it hook line and sinker!

PARTISAN DEMS CLAIM TRUMP INTENTIONALLY UNDERMINED PANDEMIC RESPONSE
First, let’s consider the source. The subcommittee is chaired by James Clyburn, one of Joe Biden’s closest political allies. In fact, Clyburn probably had more to do with Biden’s ascension to the presidency than anyone in America, Biden included. It was Clyburn’s support of Clueless Joe in the South Carolina primary that took the Biden campaign off of life support and propelled it to victory. (I look forward to a House report from a GOP majority scrutinizing Biden’s ineffective response to the pandemic.) The odious Maxine Waters is also on the subcommittee. So is Jamie Raskin, the ultra-leftist who, I’m sad to say, represents the district in which I live.
What about the substance of the report? Much of it is based on a few positions Trump took that were contrary to the advice of public health officials and other experts. The disagreements pertained, for example, to reliance on herd immunity and the authorization of certain covid treatments like hydroxychloroquine and convalescent plasma. I don’t think the Trump administration ever adopted a herd immunity strategy for combatting the Wuhan coronavirus. As I read the report, it objects mostly to him hosting a meeting with people who favored the strategy. The horror!
In any case, one cannot infer a “deliberate effort” to undermine the response to the pandemic from disagreements about various methods to combat it. This is true even if Trump at times took positions that differed from those of public health officials and certain experts. Generally speaking, Trump followed the recommendations of these folks. When he didn’t, he followed the advice of other medical professionals such as Dr. Scott Atlas. Trump might (or might not) have been wrong to do so, but that’s very different from deliberately trying to undermine the pandemic response.

Reality here is that even Fauci (and the now disgruntled Birx) had admitted loudly that Trump followed pretty much all of their advice to a "T" - even as we now know that he probably shouldn't have in some situations. Where there were tangible differences it was in the idea that we could develop a vaccine in quicktime, something both Fauci and Birx said would be impossible. Trump turned out to be right whereas Fauci and Birx were wrong. There are other examples where Trump was right and the doctors were wrong.

As this Powerline article points out, the President of the United States gets a lot of advice from a lot of different people. To suggest that looking into alternate ideas is a "deliberate effort" to undermine other advice is just silly. This is the difference between politics (where you listen only to those on your political side) and the real world where you listen to all advice, take in all opinions, before coming to your conclusions.  The truth is that Democrats seem to believe (as does Fauci and Birx) that any opinions other than those of Fauci and Birx should not be considered, much less followed.

Bottom line is that Democrats are in a free fall. The President has been a failure, especially on Covid. Democrats in Congress have been complete failures, especially on Covid. Their approvals are in the tank AND FOR GOOD REASON!

This might be their last hurrah for a while. Their last chance to be in charge of these sorts of subcommittees and reports. Rather than write a real report that actually has some relevance to why 400,000 people have died under Joe Biden in spite of 62% of our population being vaccinated or what to do about it, they write another partisan hit job against the former President.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is why American have soured on the Democrats, why the GOP is holding large 2022 leads in the polls, and why Donald Trump is leading Biden in most every 2024 hypothetical matchup (in once case by double digits). Democrats are not leaders who want to make anything better. They are children who want to attack their opponents and spend money that we do not have.

Trump sure must have been listening to some real doozies of scientific advice when he opined that the virus was little more than a case of the flu and could be probably treated with an injection of disinfectant or an infusion sunlight and would go away like magic in the summer and be down to near zero within a few days.

Fauci and Birx had to do the equivalent of tackling him and bringing him down from his plan to encourage people to pack the churches for his last Easter in office by finally convincing him THAT WOULD HURT HIM POLITICALLY because of the numerous deaths it definitely would set off.

Fauci and Birx both got disgusted by Trump's willingness to ignore sound scientific and medical advice in favor of his usual propagandizing bluster, which they sometimes were forced to refuse to affirm for the sake of their own scientific and medical integrity.

President Joe Biden will deliver a speech on Tuesday addressing the omicron variant, where he will unveil new steps the administration is taking to help communities in need of assistance, a White House official told NBC News on Saturday.

Biden is expected to go beyond his already unveiled "Winter Plan" with additional measures while "issuing a stark warning of what the winter will look like for Americans that choose to remain unvaccinated," the official said.

The news comes amid a rise in Covid-19 cases and pleas from federal health officials to get vaccinated.

Trump and Don Jr. could be in big trouble if Assange is extradited to the US: national security expert

Tom Boggioni

December 18, 2021

Saturday afternoon, the former assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI explained to MSNBC host Alex Witt that Donald Trump and his son Don Jr. should be shaking in their boots if Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is successfully extradited to the U.S.

According to Frank Figliuzzi, Assange could provide information linking the two Trumps -- along with former Trump adviser Roger Stone --to the Russians and possible collusion with the 2016 Trump presidential campaign.

On Dec. 10th it was reported that government lawyers "won an appeal against a London court ruling that had blocked the extradition of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange from Britain."

AFP reported, "Assange is wanted to face trial for the publication by WikiLeaks in 2010 of classified military documents relating to the US wars in Afghanistan and Iraq."

RELATED: Trump's CIA considered kidnapping or assassinating Julian Assange: report

According to Figliuzzi, successful extradition and interviews with Assange could center on Trump and his oldest son.

"There's at least three people who should be very concerned about the possibility of Assange being extradited to the United States, " the ex-FBI man explained. "First, former president Trump. secondly, Don Trump Jr., and also Roger Stone, and here's why. Assange possesses the capability, the knowledge to help close the gap between all of that [Special Counsel Robert] Mueller investigation talk of collusion with Russia and the 2016 campaign, and the gap between that and criminal chargeable conspiracy with Russia."

"So here's the deal, if you recall Assange's Wikileaks actually reached out to Guccifer 2.0 known to be a Russian intelligence GRU entity and said give that to me, Wikileaks, that hacked material that ,by the way, Mueller charged 12 Russian intelligence officers for hacking. Give that to me, I'll disseminate it and help the Trump campaign. He knows also who he was in direct contact with during the campaign."

"We know from the investigation that Don Jr. was in contact with Wikileaks for months during the campaign, even received tasking and acted on it from Wikileaks," he continued. "We also know from the investigation that Rick Gates, an aide to Trump, on a trip to La Guardia airport with Trump, Trump took a call he says from Roger Stone, hung up the phone and told Gates there's going to be more dirt coming from Wikileaks soon."

"If Assange can close that gap: here's who I talked to in the campaign, here's what they told me Trump knew, here's how I talked with Russia on behalf of the campaign, it also means that Trump would have lied to Mueller when asked about this issue numerous times," he added.

“As omicron drives a new phase of the pandemic, many are looking to Denmark — and particularly the government institute devoted to testing, surveillance and modeling — for warnings about what to expect.

“The emerging answer — even in this highly vaccinated, wealthy northern European country — is dire. For all the defenses built over the last year, the virus is about to sprint out of control, and scientists here expect a similar pattern in much of the world.

“Ever since the omicron variant emerged in November, the best hope has been that it might cause less severe sickness than the delta version it is competing with, which in turn might make this wave more manageable and help the transition of covid-19 into an endemic disease.

"But Denmark’s projections show the wave so fully inundating the country that even a lessened strain will deliver an unprecedented blow.”

STILL WANT TO BRAG ABOUT SWEDEN AND HERD IMMUNITY, CH? READ THIS:

Covid-19: Whatever happened to pandemic pariah Sweden?

Nikki Macdonald

“Judge me in a year,” said Swedish public health boss, Dr Anders Tegnell, in July 2020.

The Covid-19 crisis was still in its infancy, but the Nordic nation normally lauded for its social safety net had already emerged as a global pandemic pariah.

Its light-touch approach, which kept open schools, workplaces and cafés and encouraged Swedes to make their own decisions about staying home and social distancing, was presented as the antithesis to New Zealand’s hardline elimination strategy.

Lockdowns would not work, said strategy supporter and former Swedish state epidemiologist Johan Giesecke. They only postponed the inevitable cases and deaths. And keeping the virus out indefinitely would be unachievable.

“I think it’s impossible in a Western democracy. You could do it in China, you can’t do it in New Zealand,” he told Radio New Zealand in May 2020.

New Zealand’s experience – and the success of other countries that eliminated Covid-19 – clearly showed lockdowns were both possible and effective.

But 18 months later, Sweden no longer seems such a global outlier.

It currently has lower case and death numbers than its Scandinavian neighbours and its overall pandemic death toll, per million residents, is lower than the United Kingdom’s.

So was the Swedish experiment a stunning success, or a reckless failure?

What was Sweden’s strategy, again?

Here’s an awkward thing. Giesecke – one of the most public defenders of the Swedish strategy – and Kiwi epidemiologist and architect of New Zealand’s elimination strategy, Michael Baker, are friends.

When Baker did a six-month sabbatical in Stockholm, Giesecke was his host. When Giesecke visited New Zealand, he lectured alongside Baker in Auckland.

But on Covid containment, their views were poles apart.

Remember herd immunity – the idea that if enough of the population are immune, either from infection or vaccination, the virus will run into so many roadblocks to infection it will eventually die out.

That was the basis of the Swedish strategy. In the early days of the original Wuhan virus strain, scientists estimated if 60-70 per cent of people were immune, that would be enough to achieve herd immunity.

In an April 2020 Good Morning Britain panel moderated by Piers Morgan, in which Baker also appeared, Giesecke made the bold statement that Stockholm would reach herd immunity in mid-May.

That’s where Sweden went wrong, Baker says. Its strategy was based on flawed assumptions.

“The Covid-19 pandemic didn’t behave as expected. Initially, people thought it would behave like influenza. That you’d get a wave of infection that would sweep across the globe, people would get exposed and most would develop immunity and some would die. But most wouldn’t and that would be the end of the pandemic.”

Honest, decent, truthful Rev. said...

Take New Zealand’s 1918 ‘flu pandemic wave, for example. The wave quickly infected large numbers and killed almost 1 per cent of the population. But in two months, it was gone.

But Covid-19 wasn’t like that. And Sweden never hit herd immunity. So more than 15,000 people died as the virus continued to spread.

In that RNZ interview, Giesecke conceded their strategy had failed to protect the old and vulnerable. But he remained convinced that Sweden’s disturbing initial death toll would not look so bad once other countries lifted their lockdowns and let the virus in.

“You’re pushing your cases and your deaths into the future. They are not disappearing.”

He told Good Morning Britain: “I think we should wait a year in comparing deaths in different countries... In the end, I think they will be about the same in each country.”

Morgan asked if he could be wrong. “Everything is a possibility. But it is highly unlikely,” he replied.

How is Sweden doing now?

Giesecke was partly right.

East Anglia University professor of health protection Paul Hunter faced off against Tegnell in an April 2020 debate, defending lockdowns.

But he notes Sweden currently has lower case numbers than its Scandinavian neighbours, despite slightly lower vaccination rates and more relaxed control measures.

“Sweden is in a good position now and that will be down to high population levels of immunity due to vaccine, but more importantly – relative to its neighbours – high levels of prior infection.”

Some studies suggest immunity gained from infection is more effective than vaccination at preventing re-infection, so having had lots of cases should make Sweden more resilient to outbreaks.

But that immunity came at a high price, Hunter says.

“You could say that Sweden bought its current good place by allowing very many more of its people to die last year. About seven times as many Swedes died as Norwegians per head of population and three times as many as the Danish. I don’t think that is a record that Sweden can be remotely proud of.”

They are basically doing a comparison of two countries - Sweden and New Zealand

Baker says comparing countries is useful, but cautions against getting too hung up on any one measure. Cumulative deaths only tell part of the story. Measuring years of life lost is better, as it takes into account age at death.

Research analysing life expectancy changes in 37 countries put Sweden in the middle of the pack, with a 0.75 year loss, well behind the two-year losses of Russia and the United States.

So the US lost much more in life expectancy than Sweden.

Scores of studies presented this week at the world’s largest climate science conference offered an unequivocal and unsettling message: Climate change is fundamentally altering what kind of weather is possible, and its fingerprint can be found in the rising number of disasters that have claimed lives and upended livelihoods around the world.
Record-shattering heat waves, devastating floods, scorching wildfires and persistent droughts are among the litany of catastrophes scientists say they can definitively link to human activities — primarily the burning of fossil fuels.
The world must find a way to cope with this new era of climate disasters, researchers warn. Because without major changes, the forecast will grow only worse with time.
“The weather of the past will not be the weather of the future,” said Stephanie Herring, a climate scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. “As long as we are emitting greenhouse gases at a historically unprecedented rate, we should expect this change to continue.”
Nearly 1 in 3 Americans experienced a weather disaster this summer
Herring has closely tracked the link between extreme weather and climate change since 2012, when she edited the first “Explaining Extreme Events from a Climate Perspective” report for the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society. The annual survey of what is known as “attribution science” draws on weather records and sophisticated climate models to determine how much individual events were influenced by human emissions.

It did not take long for the project to yield evidence of a transformed planet.
In 2016, the hottest year scientists had yet recorded, hundreds of people in India died amid unprecedented heat waves. A gigantic “blob” of warm water formed in the Pacific.Toxic algae bloomed off the coast of Alaska, poisoning shellfish and causing seabirds to starve.
The intensity of these events was beyond anything that existed in a preindustrial world.
The latest edition of the “Explaining Extremes” report shows that the period between December 2019 and February 2020 was the warmest and wettest period in recorded Russian history — a thaw so acute it could not have happened if not for climate change. Melting permafrost belched carbon and destabilized homes. Bears were jolted out of hibernation. Moscow officials had to supplement their New Year’s celebrations with artificial snow.
Just this summer, a dome of punishing heat descended on the Pacific Northwest, scorching crops, melting pavement and cooking a billion sea creatures inside their own shells. Hospitals saw 69 times the usual number of emergency room visits; one facility put patients in body bags filled with ice in a desperate effort bring their internal temperatures down. More than 1,000 people died.

Even Swedish country that Ch used to spread lies about masking, the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, a nonprofit based in Sweden that has been tracking democracies around the globe since 1975, warns in a new report that the number of countries that are becoming "more authoritarian" by the group's calculus is three times the number of countries that are moving toward democracy. This year is the fifth consecutive year in which the trend has been moving in that direction.

It not a coincidence that since Donald Trump was sworn in on January 20th 2016 five years ago that the United States is moving toward an authoritarian government. The fifth anniversary of his swearing in as President of the United States.

Freedom and democracy are not necessarily synonymous—and sometimes can be quite in tension—but democratic governments throughout history have done a better job of protecting and promoting freedom than more authoritarian regimes. Now, the two values seem to be declining in tandem.

We can have a free press and independent institutions like the Supreme Court doesn't mean that a President cannot put hundreds of his supporters in the DOJ, FBI, and the CDC. The United States military corps, and become the first Authoritarian leader in history, and guarantee that the Democratic party will never elect a President, or a majority in either side of the United States Congress, by passing legislation to reduce turnout in sufficient numbers to stop the people from choosing our leaders.

Not sure that this article is saying what you think it is...

Sweden has had less than 50 deaths in December, much smaller Denmark has had approximately 150, and Norway has had 120, Finland has had 120.

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/sweden/

These are Scandinavian countries with half the population and have over double the deaths of Sweden over the past month. You can go back and see this trend has been going on for a while.

If things were to end today, then fine. Sweden might have more deaths per capita that other scandinavian countries, but if this continues to go into 2022, then Sweden will more likely than not end up at the bottom in deaths per million.

More to the point, Demographically Sweden is closer to other European countries as it is to other Scandinavian countries... so it's not really a fair comparison.

But every time people point out how well Sweden is doing, the concept is that people will go back to the start of the pandemic and complain about how they did at the beginning.

STOCKHOLM, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Sweden will reintroduce a raft of measures to curb rising COVID-19 infections, urging renewed social distancing and the use of masks in public transportation, the government said on Tuesday.

"We see an increased spread of infection, but still from low levels," Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson told a news conference. "We need to work together to that the situation doesn't get worse, so today we are presenting further precautionary measures."

Report ad
Cases in Sweden have started to rise in recent weeks after a relatively calm autumn. Hospitalizations and the number of patients requiring intensive care are still among the lowest per capita in Europe but have also started to creep up.

Denmark, Norway and Finland, with a combined population of around 16.75 million, have recorded 4,331 deaths attributed to coronavirus as of Thursday (259 per million). All three enforced lockdowns early on in the pandemic. Sweden, by contrast, has registered 12,798 deaths, and possesses a population 10.2 million, meaning it has a far higher death rate than its immediate neighbors (1,255 per million), according to Johns Hopkins University data. For critics of the light touch approach, such as Stefan Hanson, a

continuation of the article I cited:

Clearly, vaccination has changed everything. Had vaccines not been effective, or not been developed at breakneck speed, the different approaches might have come out in the wash.

But as it was, lockdown countries loosened restrictions into a very different environment – one in which most people were protected by vaccination. Even way back in May 2020, Giesecke conceded that New Zealand’s strategy could be the best option if it could keep the virus out until vaccines became available.

Melbourne-based Kiwi epidemiology professor Tony Blakely says with hindsight, Sweden did get some benefit by letting the virus spread when the easier-to-control original strain was dominant.

But even if he’d known last year that 2021 would deliver the doubly-infectious Delta variant, he would still have opted for an elimination strategy.

Blakely’s modelling of the health and economic impacts of elimination, tight suppression and loose suppression (the Swedish approach) found elimination came out tops.

“We definitely want to have done elimination till we got vaccinated, so it’s easier to do, but it does mean that we have to go through our bumpy stuff now.”

What we can learn from Sweden, though, is that as long as you have people who refuse to be vaccinated, you will need natural infection to plug the immunity gaps, Blakely says.

“At some stage we need to really learn to live with this virus. Not look at it from across the dancefloor, but actually go and dance with the damn thing... They probably let the virus run a bit too much initially, but in a year’s time or two years’ time, we may actually decide that the Swedish approach wasn’t a bad one.”

Baker says Sweden’s strategy is now fairly mainstream, but vaccination changes the maths.

“We are seeing all high-income countries gradually converging on a similar approach, which is essentially highly vaccinated, with some social and public health measures retained.

“But in year two you have got vaccines, so it’s quite a different situation. With or without a more infectious variant, the outcomes are just completely different.”

But here’s a confounding statistic – Britain’s cumulative death toll is 2145 per million, while Sweden’s is 1494 per million.

Britain started out with a Sweden-style herd immunity strategy, but changed tack after an Imperial College report predicted that it could result in 510,000 deaths, sparking panic and outrage.

That eroded trust in the government, Baker says.

“Because the UK flip-flopped on its strategy, they did get much worse outcomes, I think.”

How does Hunter explain Britain’s higher death toll?

Honest, decent, truthful Rev. said...

“You cannot compare Sweden with the UK – entirely different country, different lifestyle, different demographics and different economic inequality, all of which will have a big impact on mortality from any disease.”

Is it even useful to compare countries?

We’ve seen it time and again throughout the pandemic – Ireland is great; Ireland is having a ‘mare; Be like Singapore; Singapore is swamped. So is it meaningless to compare countries?

Blakely wouldn’t go that far, but does advise caution. There are two problems – the first is Hunter’s point, that two countries can have very different characteristics, which affect how the pandemic plays out.

Sweden, for example, has low population density and one of the world’s highest proportions of people living alone. Given Delta tends to infect everyone in a household, that could have a huge impact.

Research found Sweden could have halved its deaths by adopting a similar approach to Britain.

An August 2021 comparison of different countries’ approaches to the first pandemic wave estimated death rates in Britain would have doubled had they adopted the Swedish policy, while Swedish deaths would have more than halved if they’d used the British or Danish strategies.

The second problem is that the outcome of outbreaks can turn on the smallest things, including whether the virus reaches the areas where it can spread quickly, Blakely says. In Melbourne, that was aged care. In Singapore, it was migrant worker dorms. In New Zealand, it was gangs and marginalised communities.

“The vast majority of the time, what I did four weeks ago at 3.10 in the afternoon has no consequence on humanity. But if I happen to have gone into a rest home and kicked it off, then that one action of mine has a major impact.

“Cross-national comparisons are useful, but people have placed too much reliance on them, because they think that if exactly what happened in Sweden happened in New Zealand, then the outcome would be exactly the same. Well, you can't get exactly the same circumstances, and you've also got things like seasonality, you've got different social structures between places. So things can play out differently.”

The success of a strategy can turn on small things, such as the virus getting into migrant worker dorms in Singapore.

As a predictive tool, country comparisons need to sit alongside modelling and theory, Blakely says.

“What happens in the real world in Sweden is essentially like just one run of a time machine in a model that does it thousands of times, to see what could have happened.”

In Taiwan and New Zealand life expectancy actually increased, because lockdowns also kept out other fatal illnesses.

When Sweden did increase restrictions, they sparked freedom protests.

But you have to also consider the economic and human rights impacts of restricting people’s freedoms, Baker says. So far, elimination has performed best on all those measures, but that might not have been a feasible option for countries with porous borders.

“What measures would you say would define success, overall? I think that will be quite a big discussion topic... In the end, it’s partly about how societies value the choices these governments are making. And inevitably, there are quite complex tradeoffs.”

IT AIN'T SIMPLE.

Meet Ray Epps, Part 2: Damning New Details Emerge Exposing Massive Web Of Unindicted Operators At The Heart Of January 6

Six weeks ago, Revolver News published a blockbuster investigative report on Ray Epps — a man who, more than any other individual, appears to be the key unlocking the question of active federal involvement in the so-called “Capitol Siege” of January 6th.

Out of all of the thousands of January 6’s protesters, and the thousands of hours of publicly available footage from that fateful day, Ray Epps has turned out to be perhaps the only person nailed dead to rights confessing on camera to plotting a pre-planned attack on the Capitol. On both January 5 and January 6, Epps announced multiple times, at multiple locations, his upcoming plot to breach the US Capitol. He then spent hours attempting to recruit hundreds of others to join him. On top of it all, Epps was seen leading key people and managing key aspects of the initial breach of the Capitol grounds himself.

Watch:(video)

It would be one thing if Epps’s repeated calls on January 5 to “go into the Capitol” had simply amounted to bluster. But Epps followed through on his stated mission to shepherd others inside. In clips 4-6 of the above compilation, we see Epps actively orchestrate elements of the very first breach of the Capitol barricades at 12:50 p.m, while Trump still had 20 minutes left in his rally speech.

It is noteworthy that this Ray Epps breach occurs just one minute after Capitol Police began responding to reports of two “pipe bombs” located at DNC and GOP headquarters, respectively. Rather conveniently, the already-handicapped Capitol Police thus had still-fewer resources with which to respond to the barricade breach in question.

While the “pipe bombs” turned out to be a dud, the Ray Epps breach proved fateful. Today, the official stories told by the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the US Justice Department all depict the apparent Ray Epps-orchestrated 12:50 p.m. initial breach of metal barricades as the “Big Bang” event of January 6.

In large part, this description is hardly an exaggeration. Indeed, it was the 12:50 p.m. breach of the Capitol grounds, in conjunction with a handful of suspicious individuals ripping down fencing and signage, that set in motion the conditions allowing for 1/6 to turn from a rally into a riot.

In this report, we will blow open this network of still-unindicted key operators who appear to have been at work either with or around Ray Epps during the initial Capitol grounds breach. You, dear reader, will be scandalized — though perhaps unsurprised — to learn that none of the actors covered in this report have received attention in the mainstream press, despite their active and indispensable roles in the events of 1/6.

James's Fucking Daddy said...

As we explained in detail in our previous report, the FBI originally put Ray Epps’s face on its Capitol Violence “Most Wanted List” on January 8, 2021, just two days after 1/6. They offered a cash reward for information leading to his arrest. In fact, rank-and-file FBI agents initially deemed Epps’s role as an apparent riot organizer so important that they named him Suspect #16—one of the first 20 high-profile FBI targets in a database now packed with more than 500 suspects.

Then, six months later on June 30, 2021, both Revolver News and The New York Times published inconvenient stories that encouraged a more aggressive interrogation of the “Ray Epps third rail,” leading reasonable people to wonder why this publicly identified man on the Most Wanted List still had no charges filed against him.

The FBI responded to these important media stories the very next day. But their response was to quietly purge all online Ray Epps files from their website, then switch to a posture of “What? Who? Ray Epps? Never heard of him.”

Agents of the FBI Field Office in Phoenix (where Epps lives) have gone so far as to explicitly deny knowledge that Ray Epps even exists. Instead of pursuing Epps, FBI agents have instead pursued journalists who had the temerity to ask Epps in person if he was a government operative. “I understand that, but I can’t say anything,” is all Epps would tell them.

Here’s a quick visual synopsis of this timeline:

What Ray Epps did on Jan. 6

Epps, 60, lives in Queen Creek, Ariz., where he owns Rocking R Farms and the Knotty Barn, a wedding and event venue, records show.

In 2011, Epps served as president of Arizona Oath Keepers, the largest chapter of the anti-government militia group. The chapter has since distanced itself from the national organization. We could not confirm whether Epps was still affiliated with the militia on Jan. 6.

But Revolver claims that Epps’ connection to the Oath Keepers, whose members face some of the most serious charges in the Capitol breach, is suspicious — namely, his association with the organization’s leader Stewart Rhodes, who has also not been arrested for his actions related to Jan. 6.

In national message boards, Rhodes told his members to descend on D.C. to “defend” Trump. Rhodes was on Capitol grounds during the insurrection, prosecutors said, and communicated frequently with several Oath Keepers who stormed the building. But there’s no indication that he entered the Capitol himself.

Federal agents confronted Rhodes outside a Texas hotel in May, seizing his cellphone with a warrant. Against the advice of his attorney, Rhodes agreed to be questioned about his and his militia’s role in the riot and spent hours doing so.

It was then that Rhodes said he expressed frustration with some of his members and told investigators that Oath Keepers who breached the building “went off mission” and didn’t get any instructions from him.

COPENHAGEN — In a country that tracks the spread of coronavirus variants as closely as any in the world, the signals have never been more concerning. Omicron positives are doubling nearly every two days. The country is setting one daily case record after another. The lab analyzing positive tests recently added an overnight shift just to keep up.
And scientists say the surge is just beginning.
As omicron drives a new phase of the pandemic, many are looking to Denmark — and particularly the government institute devoted to testing, surveillance and modeling — for warnings about what to expect.
The emerging answer — even in this highly vaccinated, wealthy northern European country — is dire. For all the defenses built over the last year, the virus is about to sprint out of control, and scientists here expect a similar pattern in much of the world.
“The next month will be the hardest period of the pandemic,” said Tyra Grove Krause, the chief epidemiologist at Denmark’s State Serum Institute, a campus of brick buildings along a canal.
Ever since the omicron variant emerged in November, the best hope has been that it might cause less severe sickness than the delta version it is competing with, which in turn might make this wave more manageable and help the transition of covid-19 into an endemic disease. But Denmark’s projections show the wave so fully inundating the country that even a lessened strain will deliver an unprecedented blow.

State of play: COVID-19 cases detected with the newest variant are doubling every 1.5 to 3 days in areas where there is community spread, WHO said.

"Omicron is spreading rapidly in countries with high levels of population immunity," said the organization, adding: "given current available data, it is likely that Omicron will outpace Delta where community transmission occurs."

The big picture: Coronavirus cases are surging across Europe, largely driven by the Omicron variant, leading many countries to impose tighter restrictions in an effort to curb the virus.

Reject self-styled medical authorities with megalomaniacal statements like “I represent science,” as though other physicians’ studies or experience aren’t real science. When bureaucrat-MDs like Anthony Fauci tell Americans what reports and data they cannot see, reject such censorship. When President Biden orders you to inject yourself with experimental gene therapy (mRNA), reject his instructions. Decide for yourself.

Also reject news outlets and social media that support Washington’s scam, viz., New York Times, Washington Post, CNN; and YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

Republish studies labeled “misinformation,” denigrated, downplayed, or outright censored. A Google search for the Great Barrington Declaration produced: “This site can’t be reached.”

Replace government officials who support and encourage the federal scam. Use the ballot box at all levels, from president, congress, governors, and state representatives to your local school board and city council.

Progressive Democrats, temporarily in control of both Congress and the White House, are engaged in realpolitik, German for practical politics. Realpolitik is a system of decision-making focused solely on increasing one’s power with no regard for ethics, morality, or effect on others. The Red Wave Of Death

As Omicron looms, a growing number of Trump voters who have been gaslighted, oppose even 'encouraging' vaccination.

As the heavily mutated Omicron variant starts to spread across the U.S., more Donald Trump voters now say they oppose officials “encouraging” Americans to get vaccinated than say they support such encouragement, according to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll.

That’s a sharp reversal from earlier this fall, when 2020 Trump voters favored a policy of vaccine encouragement by a nearly 20-point margin — and a worrisome sign of declining trust in COVID-19 vaccination among conservatives at a time when public health officials say all adults should be scheduling their boosters

In September, Trump voters largely opposed vaccine mandates, and they continue to oppose them today. Still, a full 54 percent of Trump voters said back then that they would favor a gentler approach, that is, “encouraging as many people as possible to get vaccinated” in their area in response to “a new wave of COVID-19 cases” triggered by the hypercontagious Delta variant, which was beginning to spread. Just 35 percent were opposed.

Nearly half of Trump voters (48 percent) now oppose encouraging vaccination in response to Omicron. Fewer (41 percent) say they support doing so.

Among Trump voters, that represents a net shift of 26 percentage points against encouraging vaccination in just three months.

Republicans as a whole are now evenly divided over such encouragement, with 45 percent in favor and 43 percent opposed. In September, those numbers were 54 percent and 35 percent, respectively.

In contrast, most Americans (60 percent) — including nearly all Democrats (85 percent) and a clear majority of independents (59 percent) — still favor encouraging as much vaccination as possible.

Experts who are part of the deep state say promoting vaccination is the right policy.

Tell that quarterback he's got to get the vaccine!'

Biden's stark warning this week came two days after officials from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention presented various models showing the trajectory of the virus during a call with state and local health officials. The modeling, along with data from Europe, indicated the number of Covid-19 cases caused by the Omicron variant has the potential to double every two days.

"When you think about that this virus has the potential to double every two days, then in a couple of weeks we're going to be facing a lot of cases of Omicron," said Lori Tremmel Freeman, chief executive officer of the National Association of County and City Health Officials, who was on part of Tuesday's call.

"That modeling implies that sometime in January, we will be at a different stage of recognizing Omicron, maybe as even a predominant virus. However, we still are learning about the severity, transmissibility," Freeman said. "The data is emerging from around the world."

There are hints from South Africa, where the variant was first identified, that cases could be less severe. And early research suggests vaccinations plus a booster shot continue to protect against severe disease, even if the number of overall cases spikes.

"When you look at the early data, it does appear that there is a diminution in the severity as expressed by hospitalization," Fauci told CNN this week. "The real question is, is that an inherent diminution of virulence of the virus or is it because there are so many people in the population who have already been infected?"

Still, concrete information about the severity of disease caused by Omicron remains something of a mystery. And less severe cases will still require widespread vaccination, which remains elusive in the United States, despite Biden's efforts.
