The bigger lie...

Democrats are geared up to make another fuss about Jan 6th


They say words are a powerful thing? People are influenced everyday by words. A salesperson, an elected official, an attorney, and countless other professionals use words to convince people of whatever it is that they want to convince them of. As someone who has spent most of my life in sales or front facing customer support, I can assure you that some people are more susceptible than others to the use of fancy wording. 

When it came to the 2016 election, Democrats made use of the term "collusion" as their bread and butter. Hillary Clinton and most every Democrat in Congress demanded that Trump's victory was illegitimate based on "collusion" and pretty much everyone who votes Democrat fell in line. After challenging the election in court, having Congress members challenge and vote against the Electoral College vote, having three separate Congressional investigations, an FBI investigation, and a two year special counsel, it turned out that the only evidence of collusion was a made up dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton. 

Now after spending over two years demanding that the 2016 election was illegitimate because of "collusion" that never existed, the Democrats upset that many people feel that the 2020 election had issues with election fraud. Specifically five states (Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona) have been singled out as having results affected by potential fraud. Already an Arizona audit found over 50,000 questionable ballots, in Wisconsin lawsuits attempting to garner information on whether 9 million dollars was spent on illegal vote drives in heavy Democratic areas, Election officials in Pennsylvania have been caught on tape destroying election documents for fear of an audit there. Huge unexplained counting anomalies took place in Michigan and Georgia and nobody had provide any explanations. Lawsuits in every states have been filed attempting to prevent audits and second looks. 

But just as the perfectly legal Trump victory in 2016 was marred with the term "collusion" the questions about the 2020 election have been discounted by the terms "big lie" and "insurrection". The logic is lacking, but the pretense appears that anyone who believes either that there was fraud or refuses to accept the charges that 500 unarmed Americans were trying to take over the US Government is part of some evil cult and should likely be sent to jail and have the key thrown away. 

There is no evidence or any logic involved here.  Just as people were entitled to believe in the fantasicle election collusion where Trump stole the election with the help of Vladimir Putin, people have the same first amendment right to believe that 2020 was riddled with fraud. Just as it was not illegal to challenge the 2016 results in court (as happened), not illegal to challenge the electoral college vote in 2016 (as many Democrats in Congress did in 2016), it was perfectly legal to do the same in 2020.

While it is illegal to storm the Capitol grounds for any reason, it is not illegal to believe that it was not an attempt at a coup or insurrection. It is also not illegal for others not associated with it to believe it was somewhat justified, nor is it illegal for a President to have "not done more to stop it". It is not a lie to say it was a riot, not unlike the Kavanaugh riots which saw hundreds of angry Democrats filtering through the capital compound attempting to find the Senate committee and prevent their vote.

The reality here folks, is that the bigger lie is coming from Democrats and others who once again are just "defining" their own reality... where doing the exact same thing they did in 2016 is now treason or somehow against the integrity of the US constitution.  Where they want you to believe that somehow 500 unarmed and unorganized people were involved with an attempt to overthrow the United States Government. 

None of this stuff makes any sense from the outside looking in. Had you asked people two years ago if 500 unarmed people breaking into the Capitol compound to protest election results was an attempt to overthrow the Government, almost nobody would have agreed it was. But give politicians a forum and the ability to use their "words" and their sheep will follow.

And the rioters who stormed the capitol complex looking for the Senate commitee week were looking to stop that commitee from completing that process. Just as they entered the USSC building looking to prevent the swearing in.

I hate to treat you like a child, but the reality that any adult would understand is that had any of those attenpts had succeeded, it would not have changed anything. Kavanough would have been confirmed and Biden would have been sworn in. These attempts would have at best delayed the inevitable.

Only a fool would think you can overturn a confirmation or election by delaying part of the process.


That is why these people are charged with obtructing a Congressional act, rather than insurrection.

If enough States had decided to turn the electoral vote in the house of Representatives, where each state was one vote. They would have declared him the winner of the electoral college votes. If even single state refused Trump's demands, he would be the President of the United States of America.

There is no evidence that any of this was planned, no coordination from within the protesters, no evidence that Trump or anyone else knew before hand about any of it.

One such post uses images of protesters demonstrating in late 2018, during the confirmation hearings for now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who was accused of sexual assault as a teenager – an allegation he denied. An array of photos on the post shows protesters being removed by U.S. Capitol Police, pounding on the doors of the Supreme Court and occupying the Capitol steps.

It reads:

Protests erupt during Kavanaugh hearings
While Kavanaugh answered questions from senators during his confirmation hearings, protesters demonstrated both inside and outside the U.S. Capitol and at the Supreme Court.

They were demonstrating after California professor Christine Blasey Ford accused Kavanaugh, initially in an anonymous letter and then in testimony during the confirmation hearings, of sexually assaulting her when the two were teenagers decades earlier. Kavanaugh, then a federal appeals court judge, vehemently denied the allegation.

While some people protested outside, others waited in line for tickets to the confirmation hearing, where they stood to disrupt senators' questioning of Kavanaugh, according to Reuters.

That followed hundreds of protesters arrested during earlier hearings, including about 200 in early September 2018, mostly for disorderly conduct, according to Reuters.

USA TODAY could find no reference to those protesters damaging the Supreme Court or Capitol, which was open to the public in 2018. During the Jan. 6 riot, though, the Capitol and its visitors center were closed to the public, including tours led by members of Congress and their staff, according to a security notice sent to all members of Congress.

Video and images from the riot show demonstrators beating a police officer with objects, including a hockey stick; assaulting a photographer; carrying zip-tie handcuffs, and breaking out windows in the Capitol.

U.S. Capitol Police also reported that two pipe bombs were discovered nearby during the demonstrations.

Scott, the house of representatives investigation into the January 6th inciden, already have considerable evidence that when he knew and what he did.

If they find credible evidence that when he knew and what he did, the Department of Justice can hold Grand Jury hearing. He could actually be held in contempt. And if the Supreme Court decision doesn't allow executive privilege, the FBI could have him arrested, and because 5th of rights don't apply in a Grand Jury hearing, he would be indicted for sedition, or Obstruction of congressional proceedings like the attempted coup on January 6th.

Either you can accept what he actually said... which is how the law works. Or you can add about 101 different opinions about what he meant (but didn't actually say).

It's like saying... well yeah, that person didn't actually kill anyone. He didn't actually do anything that will kill someone. But based on my own convoluted logic regarding things non-specific to these events that this person (who didn't kill anyone or attempt to kill anyone) is a murderer.


Sometimes you can only prove that you cannot accept reality.

The more the Reverend and others try, they cannot change the fact that the President himself never told anyone to storm the Capital, in fact suggested that they would be peaceful and patriotic and the actual reference to "fighting" was actually clarified by suggesting a perfectly legal primary.


If you ignore what he said. Take bits and pieces of it out of context. Or repeat other "opinions" about what people "believe" he said...

Then you are being dishonest.

Plain and simple.

The FBI Is Not What It Used to Be

There was a time when every kid, and a lot of cops, fantasized about becoming FBI agents. Its agents were known as the best of the best.

That was then. After Mid-Year Exam, Crossfire Hurricane, and numerous other scandals, being a part of the FBI is no longer a thing of pride. Many retired agents admit to being embarrassed and ashamed of what the bureau has become.

When it comes to preventing crime, the FBI has dropped the ball far too many times. The FBI had credible warnings about the attack on 9/11, the Pulse Nightclub slaughter, the San Bernardino shooting, the Parkland school shooting, and even the Boston Marathon bombing. Yet somehow failed to take preventive action.

They’re no longer our guardians against public corruption either. They gave Hillary Clinton a pass for her email transgressions. They did an investigation in name only, that lasted months. Oddly, the FBI never served any subpoenas. The bureau even destroyed the evidence at the conclusion of the investigation. It’s almost as if they didn’t really want to find anything -- no?

Hillary Clinton, in collusion with the DNC, orchestrated the dirtiest trick in U.S. political history -- the fabricated Trump/Russian collusion tale. The FBI learned within two months that the whole thing was a setup. Yet they played along with the plan for three years -- even to the point of affecting the 2018 midterm election. Their investigation became the famous “insurance policy” against the Trump Presidency. Rather than ferreting out corruption, the FBI became enthusiastic participants.

Evidence of Biden family corruption is lying around everywhere -- in plain sight. Hunter Biden is selling kindergarten-level art to Chinese officials for half a million bucks a pop. His sales started right after his dad was inaugurated. Where’s the investigation? For that matter, what’s happening with Hunter’s laptop? It’s full of incriminating evidence. We’ve all seen it, and we know the “Big Guy” was getting 10%. But the FBI has been sitting on it for years.


Eric Swalwell was having an extramarital affair with a known Chinese spy. From an espionage perspective, it doesn’t get much riskier than that, especially with him sitting on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Has he been investigated? Nope. Has his security clearance been revoked? No again.

Now we’re learning that the FBI is not only turning a blind eye to corruption, but it’s also playing the game for petty personal gain too. In 2015 the FBI was contacted by a member of the U.S. Females Gymnastic Team with allegations of sexual assault. Special Agent in Charge Jay Abbot was placed in charge of the investigation. As a result of an inspector general’s report, we have learned that SAC Abbott made no arrests, asked for no indictments, but did seek employment with the pedophile’s employer -- the U.S. Olympic Committee. Who cares about little girls when there’s a once-in-a-lifetime job opportunity?

The bureau has developed some impressive expertise at putting on a show for the news agencies too. They’ve dragged old men (Paul Manafort and Roger Stone), with no violent history, out of their homes at night at gunpoint, by an FBI SWAT team normally used for hostage situations and the arrest of heavily armed and dangerous fugitives. But CNN did have the cameras running, so they had to make a good show of it.

They raided the homes of Project Veritas reporters and tipped off the press that it had happened. Again, the raids were done at night, with overwhelming firepower, against reporters. That’s a violation of the 1st Amendment, numerous Supreme Court rulings, and FBI policy against leaking details of ongoing investigations. Of course, it was all done for a good cause, to find a -- wait for it -- missing diary. What was the federal crime? Does it matter anymore?

But recently, an even bigger question has arisen. Is the FBI investigating, or creating crimes? Over 500 U.S. citizens are being held without bond for the January 6 protest. We even know that a man named Ray Epps was one of the instigators of the Capitol break-in. Even though he is clearly seen on security video egging on the attack, he was taken off the FBI’s wanted list when internet sleuths located him. Is there any chance he was working for the FBI? Interesting, no? Isn’t it alarming that we have to ask?

The FBI heroically prevented a conspiracy to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer -- the governor of Michigan. Just like that, the embattled Whitmer (a Democrat) is no longer on the hot seat for being a COVID tyrant. Now she’s a victim. But as details have emerged, things have gotten interesting. A large number of conspirators were in fact FBI agents or informants. We’re assured by Special Agent Richard Trask that his people had no hand in instigating or planning the plot. That would be the same Richard Trask that was fired for beating his wife to a bloody pulp after a swinger’s party. Color me skeptical, but I’m going to need more than Trask’s word on the matter.

Won’t it be disturbing if we eventually discover that the FBI had a hand in instigating either January 6 or the Whitmer kidnapping? If so, it will be the dawn of a new method of law enforcement. Talk some poor morons into committing a crime, wait for them to do it, and then arrest them. It’s an efficient system, but not exactly what the American people had in mind when the FBI was founded.

As if corruption and incompetence aren’t bad enough, now they’re even becoming an embarrassment. Fifteen agents were dispatched to investigate a rope that someone thought looked like a noose. Apparently, inanimate objects have the potential to be symbolic hate crimes warranting federal attention. It only took them a week or so to figure out that the rope with a knot in it, attached to a garage door, was a garage door pull. That’s some impressive police work. But I want to know: What if it was a noose? Does the FBI really not have anything better to do than investigate knotted pieces of rope? What is the federal statute against putting a knot in a rope with malice by the way?

We can’t talk about the new FBI without also talking about their integrity -- or lack thereof. They have treated us to some blatantly dishonest behavior lately.

Special Agent Peter Strzok lost or altered official interview notes in the General Michael Flynn case.
Lawyer Kevin Clinesmith falsified evidence to obtain a FISA warrant against Carter Page.
Assistant Director Andrew McCabe lied to investigators to cover up his role in leaking confidential information to reporters.
Director James Comey leaked classified notes about a meeting with the president to a friend and the press -- a felony. When asked about it, he had sudden and complete memory failure under oath.
The FBI’s credibility is so compromised at this point that the judge in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial barred an FBI agent from testifying. It seems the agent couldn’t explain how he “lost” key evidence. So much for the integrity thing.


How does an agent remain an agent, when his testimony is no longer presumed trustworthy? The FBI has squandered its reputation through incompetence, bias, and dishonesty. The next time agents take the stand to testify, jurors may not afford them any more credibility than the criminal that cut a deal in exchange for his testimony. Is that what the FBI wants? It’s certainly not what America needs. We live in a dangerous world. We need them to be what they once were. But that will be a long road back.

A recent shocking report in American Thinker suggests that life insurance payouts are considerably worse then executives expected. Obvious question: is it an aberration or is it for real? Alas, a cursory examination suggests it may be for real.

The scan of the following insurance companies confirms the initial report.  For Prudential, they have had a massive 87% increase in death benefits paid comparing the third quarter of 2020 to the third quarter of 2021. Such a detailed breakdown wasn’t available for New York Life, but their 2021 year to date (1 Jan to 30 Sept) death benefit payout is up by 27%. Examining Pacific Life documents identifies multiple units.  For Pacific Life the year to date claims are up by only 12%. But for a subsidiary, Pacific Life and Annuity, claims are up by over 80%.  This is an opportunistic search; more data may be forthcoming.

Life insurance companies have strong incentives to be accurate in their reporting to financial markets.  It is possible that these deaths represent neglected care, the postponed treatments of heart disease, cancer, and the like.  But that seems unlikely given the spike in the third quarter deaths. And presumably COVID already has taken the most vulnerable in 2020 in the absence of a vaccine. These massive claims seemed to be a phenomenon of the third quarter—about six months after the vaccine regimen became widely available.  This just offers further evidence that something is very wrong with these vaccines.

End the mandates. End the vaccination program. And let’s start asking Pfizer what they knew and when.

Enough of the Weekly Testing

This common practice on school campuses, as well as the lone option for employees eschewing vaccination under Biden’s federal vaccine mandate for large companies, never made much sense. A negative test on Monday says little about anyone’s contagion on Tuesday, not to mention Friday. With Omicron — in which symptoms often start before a rapid antigen test will even show positive, and viral load rises remarkably swiftly  — weekly testing becomes theater of the absurd. 

Daily tests for nursing home workers? This I can get around. Readily available rapid tests so that people can make better and swifter decisions (without going to the ER for a test!) about seeking treatment and avoiding contacts? Fine, especially if done properly. But elite universities still doing weekly tests for their fully vaccinated, often boosted, extremely low risk students? A ridiculous use of resources. Enough already.

Enough of the Mask Mandates

I know the arguments for masks: they’re cheap, non-invasive, and just might work. They have a cost, though, aside from the developmental, social, and psychologic cost of asking people to interact with their primary organ of communication covered. I’ll also refrain from discussing the environmental disaster created by disposable masks…

Of course, if I was convinced mandating people to wear masks was an effective policy intervention, I might think it still worth it, at least at high-impact times as hospitals fill. However, positive clinical data on mask-wearing is entirely based on observational studies with high risk of bias (people who wear masks might tend to be more careful than those who don’t, and places which enforce mask mandates might have more cautious people than those which do not). Most prospective studies that have actually looked at the effectiveness of mask policies have failed to deliver significant findings, though one randomized controlled trial conducted last year in Bangladesh led by researchers at Stanford Medicine and Yale University found that mask interventions reduced spread by about 11%.

The outcome of the Jan. 6 'commission' (read: kangaroo court) is pre-ordained. Starting with the make up of the commission and continuing will all of the rhetoric flowing from it, this commission is designed to head off the coming slaughter of the left in the mid-terms by finding several key GOP candidates "guilty" and therefore not eligible to run for office, and to find Trump "guilty" and not eligible to run for president in 2024.

"Guilty" of what you ask?

Who the fuck would know.

Not guilty of any crime or violation of a genuine statute on the books somewhere, anywhere. Just "guilty."

Because "guilty" verdicts against those targeted by the committee is the ballgame. It is what's driving passage of H.R.1 in the senate, the end of the filibuster preceding that, and the elimination of competition in the mid-terms because this is the only path to power for democrats.

No sane and rational person believes ANY of the claims surrounding Jan. 6 by the left, hence the massive amount of water carrying for the dems by the MSM/DNC steno pool in their crazed attempt to convince the electorate of the most heinous act against democracy since the invention of the alky's salad spinner.

In Orange County, California south of Los Angeles, Kelly Ernby — a GOP activist known for her opposition to vaccine mandates — has died of COVID-19 at the age of 46, according to the Daily Pilot.

Ernby, who spent a decade as a deputy district attorney in Orange County, ran for a seat in the California State Assembly in 2020 and competed with Newport Beach Mayor Diane Dixon for the Republican nomination. Dixon narrowly defeated Ernby in that primary before losing to the incumbent Democrat, Cottie Petrie-Norris, in the general election.

Ernby’s opposition to vaccine mandates preceded the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, Ernby opposed a California law that created stricter immunization rules for schoolchildren, saying, “I don’t think that the government should be involved in mandating what vaccines people are taking. I think that’s a decision between doctors and their patients…. If the government is going to mandate vaccines, what else are they going to mandate?”

Demand for workers in the U.S. remained historically elevated in November, with job openings holding near a record high amid the ongoing pandemic.

Vacancies totaled 10.562 million in November, according to the Labor Department's Job Openings and Labor Turnover Summary (JOLTS) released Tuesday. This comes is slightly lower than the 11.091 million in October, based on the government's revised print for the month. Consensus economists were looking for job openings to rise to 11.079 million in November, according to Bloomberg data.

By industry, job openings declined most notably in accommodation and food services, with vacancies falling by 261,000 but remaining at a still-elevated 1.3 million in total. Construction and non-durable goods manufacturing employers also saw notable drops in job openings at 110,000 and 66,000, respectively.
