FBI claims they lost Hunter Biden laptop?

Ch is using information from a pedophile.

Then-Attorney General Bill Barr went to great lengths to avoid being seen near Rep. Matt Gaetz after he was alerted to the federal probe into the Florida Republican’s alleged sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl, according to Politico. Barr is said to have gotten several briefings about the investigation, at least partly to ensure that the then-attorney general didn’t inadvertently find himself standing next to Gaetz at any public events, according to one source cited by Politico. The Department of Justice reportedly went so far as to cancel a planned appearance by Barr at a meet-and-greet with House Republicans after it was learned that Gaetz would be in attendance.

Even Bill Barr won't be associated with your source.

So, nearly a year and a half later, it’s worth revisiting what happened back in the heat of the 2020 campaign. Some decisions and claims look dubious in retrospect. Twitter briefly blocked links to the story for potentially containing hacked material and Facebook briefly restricted it as possible “misinformation” — but it may have been neither. And no evidence has emerged to back up suspicions from former intelligence officials, backed by Biden himself, that the laptop’s leak was a Russian plot.

But the emails were indeed being put out as part of an orchestrated campaign by Trump’s team to try to drive negative media coverage toward Joe Biden shortly before the election. And whatever the revelations about Hunter, claims from conservatives that the leaked emails proved Joe Biden acted corruptly in some way were false — they proved no such thing.

“The laptop from hell”

In October 2020, the New York Post began publishing some of Hunter Biden’s texts, emails, and other documents. As for how they got this information, the following story soon emerged, from a Delaware computer repair store owner, John Paul Mac Isaac.

In April 2019, someone dropped off three water-damaged laptops with him for repair, Mac Isaac claimed. He couldn’t say for sure who dropped them off, because he is legally blind, but he said the person identified himself as Hunter Biden and signed a receipt with what appears to be Hunter’s name.

One of the laptops had a Beau Biden Foundation sticker. No one ever returned to pick up the laptops, so Mac Isaac (an enthusiastic Trump supporter) started looking at what’s on one of them. He saw what he thought was lots of scandalous material, so he called authorities and handed it over — but also kept a copy of its material on a hard drive. At some point, he gave that hard drive to Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello, and they gave it to the New York Post (and circulated it among other Trump supporters like Steve Bannon).

The Post and other conservative media outlets’ coverage of Hunter’s files partly involved lurid material about Hunter’s personal life. Hunter’s struggles with drug addiction were already a matter of public record, but the files contained further embarrassing details, as well as sexual material. The other focus of coverage was Hunter’s lucrative foreign work, most notably with a Ukrainian gas company and Chinese business interests. Trump allies had long claimed this work proved not just Hunter’s but Joe Biden’s corruption, and they combed through Hunter’s emails to try to make that case.

The Post’s coverage was controversial, including inside the paper — per the New York Times, one reporter refused to put his name on the story due to credibility concerns, and other Post staff “questioned whether the paper had done enough to verify the authenticity of the hard drive’s contents.” But Trump cited what he dubbed “the laptop from hell” constantly. And conservatives began to argue that the mainstream media and social media companies were suppressing the story to help Biden win.

Well because:

1) I never said "Trump won"

2) My issues were purely math and statistics related.

Math stands on its own without a need to explain it. If you don't understand it, well then you don't understand it. I certainly cannot teach you math over a comment board. Some things are just over some people's heads.

The logs also show Trump reached out on the morning of Jan. 6 to Jordan, who had been among members of Congress organizing objections to Joe Biden’s election on the House floor.

The logs show Trump and Jordan spoke from 9:24 a.m. to 9:34 a.m. Jordan has acknowledged speaking with Trump on Jan. 6, although he has said he cannot remember how many times they spoke that day or when the calls occurred.

Trump called Hawley at 9:39 a.m., and Hawley returned his phone call. A spokesperson for Hawley said Tuesday that the two men did not connect and did not speak until March. Hawley had been the first senator to announce he would object to Biden’s victory, and continued his objections even after rioters stormed the building and other senators backed off the plan.

The logs also show that Trump spoke from 11:04 a.m. to 11:06 a.m. with former Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., who had recently lost his reelection campaign to Sen. Jon Ossoff.

A spokesperson for Sen. Bill Hagerty, R- Tenn., confirmed he had called Trump on Jan. 6 but said they did not connect. Hagerty declined to comment.

Despite the lack of call records from the White House, the committee has learned that Trump spoke on the phone with other Republican lawmakers on the morning of Jan. 6.

For instance, Trump mistakenly called the phone of Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, thinking it was the number of Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala. Lee then passed the phone to Tuberville, who said he had spoken to Trump for less than 10 minutes as rioters were breaking into the building.

The president also fielded a call from Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California, the top House Republican, who told Trump that people were breaking into his office on Capitol Hill.

During that call, Trump was said to have sided with the rioters, telling the top House Republicans that members of the mob who had stormed the Capitol were “more upset about the election than you are.”

Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, was also calling lawmakers that day and continued to do so even after rioters laid siege to the building. In an evening phone call, he made clear that the effort to fight the result of the election was still alive even after the riot.

“Sen. Tuberville, or I should say Coach Tuberville, this is Rudy Giuliani, the president’s lawyer,” Giuliani said in a voicemail message intended for Tuberville, but mistakenly left on Lee’s phone. “I’m calling you because I want to discuss with you how they’re trying to rush this hearing and how we need you, our Republican friends, to try to just slow it down.”

The news of the call logs came the same day that the White House said Biden would not extend executive privilege to cover any testimony to the committee by Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Trump’s daughter and son-in-law, who worked as his advisers.

“The president has spoken to the fact that Jan. 6 was one of the darkest days in our country’s history, and that we must have a full accounting of what happened to ensure that it never occurs again,” said White House spokesperson Kate Bedingfield. “And he’s been quite clear that they posed a unique threat to our democracy and that the constitutional protections of executive privilege should not be used to shield, from Congress or the public, information about an attack on the Constitution itself.”

Kushner is scheduled to testify before the committee this week, while Ivanka Trump has been negotiating the terms of her potential cooperation.

We all understand the history of the laptop. We don't need you to explain it to us. We also know that everyone at this point has admitted that the laptop allegations were not "russian disinformation" and that there was incriminating information on the laptop. Even the precious "NYT" are admitting that the laptop, contents, and allegations are very real.

We are also all adults and understand politics. Considering how much the left used the "fake" Russian collusion narrative for over two years against Trump, a international pay for play and possible laundering scandal that involved Hunter and Joe Biden would be used by Trump and Republicans as a similar type of political attack. The only difference being the Hunter Biden laptop was not Russian disinformation. It was real. The fact that someone meant to use it, doesn't make it any less real.

In fact, we should all welcome these sorts of facts getting out. If a candidate for President is involved with an international play for pay scheme... I think the general public should know. More to the point, our slanted idiotic "security" people should not be allowed to simply lie and cover it up (as they did).

They have been fully exposed as a partisan organization completely dedicated to serve the DNC as their STASI, and it would save a lot of time if when called upon to testify they would simply reply to GOP congressmen -

"Go fuck yourself, senator. Go fuck yourself Congressman."

"Hearing adjourned."

Here's the final version I just submitted to our paper.

From the Pulpit
James Boswell

WHEN Jesus was only a toddler, two thousand Jewish insurrectionists were captured and crucified by Roman soldiers at Jerusalem. Some thirty years later, Jesus entered the city accompanied by large Passover crowds who were excitedly shouting, “Blessed is the Kingdom that is coming” – words which upset the city’s ruling priestly power brokers who, in lucrative collaboration with the still occupying Romans, did not want to see change come about.

Today we face a similar situation wherein foreign soldiers have invaded Ukraine in an attempt to compel that country to submit to being ruled by others. Some of those who want richly to rule Ukraine claim to be “orthodox” representatives of Jesus.

A like-minded power arrangement existed in czarist days when Russia’s rulers utilized the church in defending their exploitation of society for their own selfish advantage. When communism arose, the church suffered persecution, but managed to survive by keeping a low, largely acquiescent profile.

Since the fall of the Soviet Union, however, Vladimir Putin has cynically brought the church back into favor, but only as a willing tool in support of his own corrupt ambitions. The Russian head of the church, Kiril, has been his obedient servant in helping him do this. Kiril refused to denounce Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, and even blessed it, causing many Ukrainian and other Orthodox Christians no longer to recognize his authority. Both men pretend to be defenders of the faith against such Western “immoralities” as acceptance of the rights of gays and women, and in that pretense they enjoy support from too many Americans who also claim to be Christians while supporting would-be oppressors.

In reality, both men are willing collaborators with a selfish oligarchy committed to holding on to their own corruptly gained wealth by keeping a greedy dictator safe in his seat of power.

How different was Jesus’ “invasion” of Jerusalem, not arrogantly riding a war chariot, but a humble little donkey – his only weapon, love, his strategy not to kill, but be killed. Comparing himself to a mother hen offering her own life while calling her endangered chicks to the safety of her protective wings, Jesus summoned everyone, not to an enforced servitude, but to a freely given loving servanthood like his for the sake of all.

‘Trump is mentally unwell’: CNN analyst goes off on Trump for asking Putin for dirt on the Bidens

On CNN Wednesday, analyst John Harwood tore into former President Donald Trump for publicly asking Vladimir Putin to release dirt on President Joe Biden's family.

"Donald Trump is mentally unwell in a way that makes him interested exclusively in what benefits him," said Harwood. "Distinctions between true, false, right, wrong, America's friends, America's enemies are irrelevant to Donald Trump. Russia has helped him financially and politically over the years. And he has aligned himself with Vladimir Putin. This is significant not just because he was president, but he's the leader of one of America's two primary parties, and he might be president again."

"This is a moment of moral clarity, when Vladimir Putin is slaughtering thousands of people in Ukraine, for Republicans who do care about the difference between right, wrong, true, false, America's friends and America's enemies, to reflect on whether this is the person they want to attach their party to," added Harwood. "Again, there is no evidence that ... President Biden has done anything wrong. But we know that Donald Trump has aligned himself for years with Vladimir Putin. And Vladimir Putin is the butcher in this war that is going on right now."

The fake news is covering your story

Washington Post: “Over the course of 14 months, the Chinese energy conglomerate and its executives paid $4.8 million to entities controlled by Hunter Biden and his uncle, according to government records, court documents and newly disclosed bank statements, as well as emails contained on a copy of a laptop hard drive that purportedly once belonged to Hunter Biden.”

“The Post did not find evidence that Joe Biden personally benefited from or knew details about the transactions with CEFC, which took place after he had left the vice presidency and before he announced his intentions to run for the White House in 2020.”

“But the new documents — which include a signed copy of a $1 million legal retainer, emails related to the wire transfers, and $3.8 million in consulting fees that are confirmed in new bank records and agreements signed by Hunter Biden — illustrate the ways in which his family profited from relationships built over Joe Biden’s decades in public service.”

Federal prosecutors are zeroing in on a single Trump tweet that may have been the catalyst for right-wing extremists to join the Capitol riot

Sonam Sheth

Tue, March 29, 2022, 9:15 AM·4 min read

In this article:

Donald Trump

45th President of the United

Prosecutors are looking at a December 2020 Trump tweet as a call to action for far-right extremists.

Trump urged supporters to attend the Jan. 6, 2021 rally, tweeting: "Be there, will be wild!"

The January 6 panel is gathering evidence to prove the tweet was in part a catalyst for the riot.

Federal prosecutors are zeroing in on a December 2020 tweet from then President Donald Trump that may have been a call for far-right actors to converge on the Capitol on January 6, 2021, The New York Times reported.

"Big protest in D.C. on January 6th," Trump tweeted on December 19. It was the first time he announced the "Save America" rally, which took place at the Ellipse in Washington, DC, less than two miles from the US Capitol. "Be there, will be wild!" the tweet said.

Prosecutors believe far-right and extremist groups immediately interpreted Trump's message as a call to action for them to head to the Capitol and stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 election that day, The Times said.

According to court filings and interview records compiled by the House Select Committee investigating the Capitol riot, multiple people associated with far-right groups like the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys started communicating with each other on messaging apps and gathering arms and protective gear.

By The Times' accounting, prosecutors have included examples of these actions in at least five criminal cases charging extremists with an array of crimes in connection to the Capitol riot, including seditious conspiracy. And according to the report, both the Justice Department and the House select panel are gathering more evidence that shows Trump's initial December 2020 tweet announcing the rally was a "powerful catalyst" for his supporters to head to the Capitol on January 6.

A number of defendants in the Justice Department's sprawling Capitol riot probe have blamed Trump for "inspiring" and inciting the deadly siege at the Capitol.

"The boss of the country said, 'People of the country, come on down, let people know what you think,'" a defense lawyer for Proud Boys member Dominic Pezzola, who has been charged with conspiracy in connection to the riot, previously told Reuters. "The logical thinking was, 'He invited us down.'"

Earlier this month, the select committee said in a court filing that it believes Trump's efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election violated several US laws.

Specifically, the panel said that the evidence it's gathered so far suggests Trump tried to obstruct an official proceeding, conspired to defraud the United States, and engaged in common law fraud.

The legality of Trump's actions and statements leading up to and on the day of the Capitol riot has also been called into question by more than one federal judge.

On Monday, US District Judge David Carter said in a bombshell ruling that it's "likely" Trump committed felony obstruction of Congress on January 6.

"Disagreeing with the law entitled President Trump to seek a remedy in court, not to disrupt a constitutionally-mandated process," Carter wrote.

The Hunter Biden computer clearly shows the Biden family in sexually, legally, druggishly, and financially compromising positions, with significant potential for foreign blackmail. Given that Joe is prominently featured in that laptop as using his political influence as currency for the exchange of cash and political favors, it may well be that China evaded sanctions because of various financial matters cited in the contents of that computer. The same goes for which Russian oligarchs got sanctioned over Ukraine and which ones didn't.

On the public credibility front, Vorndran does no better. He told Gaetz that the laptop was not in his investigative bailiwick, but a credible question could be raised as to why not. The influence peddling cited in the laptop clearly affects his job, making it a lot harder to protect the country from cyberattacks as certain cyber attackers evade sanctions and others don't, certain drones get bought from China's spyware outfits and others don't.

The fact that the computer, or enough of it, is out there in public and apparently not classified at all might be a factor for the apparent FBI indifference as to its contents  -- intelligence community characters like their information to be entirely secret and this stuff isn't secret.

But it doesn't explain Vorndran's ignorance of the computer's whereabouts. The FBI was entrusted to protect this device as part of its duty to protect evidence, and as evidence goes, this is a whopper. Where the Hunter Biden laptop is is something he should know. His claims that he doesn't know suggests sloppy stewardship or ignorance of bureau procedures, if not outright lying, which is a distinct possibility, too.

Sincerely Crazy Scott

Because I followed the 12 steps

1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol– that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a Power greater than our–selves could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.

8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
