Don't watch this if you don't want to know how the Ukrainians really view the U.S.
So why is this guy upset? Well our reporter suggests that the US is not willing to "face off" against the Russian troops. Okay, but if that is the case, then why DID we actually make any guarantees to Ukraine that we would protect them if they were willing to push back against Russia and look at joining NATO. We always had to know that Ukraine flirting with NATO would prompt some sort of response from Putin. Why claim we would protect them in that case if we were never willing to do so?
Perhaps this really is a situation where they get guarantees from one Administration and set of military commanders and the next Administration decides not to honor it. Pehaps this guy is right by going all the way back to Obama (who allowed Putin to annex Crimea). But everything this guy says is true. By all accounts we did tell them that they would be protected if they wanted to move away from Russia and towards the west. But apparently that was never the case?
There are other countries within NATO willing to do more, but obviously this take everyone being on board. If I was another country under the influence of Russia. I would never trust the west if they made promises like this. Putin has called that bluff.

Scott, it's not over yet despite you believe that Putin out smarted Sleepy Joe Biden..
Senator Joe Manchin, a West Virginia Democrat, said that the West should keep a no-fly zone over Ukraine as an option, saying the U.S. shouldn't take any options off the table after a Saturday call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Zelensky and other Ukrainian leaders have repeatedly called for NATO and the U.S. to set-up a no-fly zone over Ukraine—arguing it will help the Eastern European nation defend itself against Russia's invasion. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said Moscow would view this as a "threat."
"That very second, we will view them as participants of the military conflict, and it would not matter what members they are," Putin warned on Saturday, commenting on the possibility of a third-party nation declaring a no-fly zone.
Manchin told NBC News' Meet the Press on Sunday that Zelensky is seeing his people "slaughtered" by Russia every day in Ukraine. The Democratic senator said that the Ukrainian president is asking, "Just help me, I'll fight my own fight. Just give me the tools to do it."
The President should not take it off the table.
The President is a very experienced person,.
It's not checkmate yet today
He has been a lot more liberal than Obama.
You make a lot of assumptions
Pehaps this guy is right by going all the way back to Obama (who allowed Putin to annex Crimea). But everything this guy says is true.
You said this because you hate liberals.

As Russian President Vladimir Putin continues his bloody invasion of Ukraine, a growing number of Russians have taken to the streets in increasingly risky protests. Reuters reports that more than 4,300 people were detained across 56 Russian cities on Sunday, citing Russia-based monitoring group OVD-Info. Those protesters face imprisonment for their dissent, and are often held for days without chance of due process. On Sunday, the monitoring group said, many of the protesters were beaten as they were taken into custody. The protests in Russia mirrored those across the world, with people gathering in European and American cities in support of Ukrainian people. “The screws are being fully tightened,” Maria Kuznetsova, OVD-Info’s spokeswoman, told Reuters. “Essentially, we are witnessing military censorship.”
An experienced military officer on MSNBC said that Putin could be in danger
-More than 1,000 people were detained at protests on Sunday in 29 cities across Russia against President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, according to an independent Russian-based protest monitor. The OVD-Info protest monitoring group said 1,015 people were detained at protests across Siberia and Russia's far east. Opposition activists posted videos showing protests and arrests in cities across Russia. Reuters was not able to independently verify the information. Reuters was unable to reach spokespeople for Russia's interior ministry. "The screws are being fully tightened...

U.S. Gas Prices Soar
“U.S. gasoline prices jumped 11% over the past week to the highest since 2008 as global sanctions cripple Russia’s ability to export crude oil after its invasion of Ukraine,” Reuters reports.
MAYBE THIS WILL HELP:
U.S. Meets in Venezuela to Discuss Oil Exports
“The Biden administration is seeking to ease oil sanctions on Venezuela as part of a broader U.S. strategy to temper oil prices that have skyrocketed because of Russia’s war in Ukraine,“ the Wall Street Journal reports.
“U.S. officials began rare face-to-face meetings with Venezuelan officials in Caracas over the weekend, with a view to allowing Venezuelan crude oil back on to the open international market.”
BUT EVEN IF IT DOES NOT HELP,
A Russian Oil Ban Could Be Coming
Playbook says:
“If there’s one thing we’ve learned from covering this White House, it’s that they are extremely adverse to being out of step with their base and fellow Democrats. And though the White House has resisted appeals for a ban on Russian oil,
that could change.
“Since the video conference, multiple Democratic lawmakers have vowed to push the administration on the issue as soon as they return to Washington.”
ABSOLUTELY.
PEOPLE MUST COME BEFORE POLITICS
AND THAT INCLUDES THE PEOPLE OF UKRAINE.
IT MAY HURT THE DEMOCRATS POLITICALLY, BUT IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!
Roger Predicted $236 oil

Easy fix, turn on Canadian and US Oil.
Stop begging other countries.
AS THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE CONTINUE TO FIND OUT HOW EGREGIOULSY THEY HAVE BEEN LIED TO ABOUT INNOCENT CITIZENS OF UKRAINE BEING KILLED WHILE THEY WERE BEING TOLD THERE WAS NO WAR GOING ON, ONLY EXERCISES, THEY WILL BECOME ANGRIER AND ANGRIER.
AS THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE CONTINUE TO FIND OUT THERE WAS NO REAL "NAZI" RESISTANCE IN UKRAINE (WHOSE DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT IS JEWISH) THEY WILL GET ANGRIER AND ANGRIER.
EVEN PUTIN'S OWN SOLDIERS ARE SAYING THEY WERE "DUPED" AND LIED TO.
IT IS TIME FOR THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE TO RISE UP AGAINST PUTIN AND OVERTHROW HIM AND DEMAND A DEMOCRACY AND NOT AN OLIGARCHY OF THE SUPER RICH.
Funny Lil Schitty.....I bet those pilots in that Russian Chopper brought down by a stinger would have a different opinion of US support!!!!!!!
And the goat fucker continues drumming the same old beat that drilling in the US will solve the supply problem......BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! What a wantonly stupid asshole from the bowels of KU!!!!
POLITICO reports exactly what I said before.
But what about a Russian oil ban? That could be coming. Here’s why:
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from covering this White House, it’s that they are extremely adverse to being out of step with their base and fellow Democrats. And though the White House has resisted appeals for a ban on Russian oil, that could change.Since the video conference, multiple Democratic lawmakers have vowed to push the administration on the issue as soon as they return to Washington. Speaker NANCY PELOSI even doubled down on her support for a ban, tweeting out a video of her telling the California Democratic Party’s convention that “we must stop buying and relying on Russian oil and move to diversify our energy sources.”On CNN this morning, Secretary of State ANTONY BLINKEN confirmed that “we are now in very active discussions with our European partners about banning the import of Russian oil to our countries.” We’d be willing to bet that Zelenskyy, who had another phone call with JOE BIDEN Saturday night, also brought this up with the president.
And about that no-fly-zone request? It’s — er — not going to fly. Notably, Sen. JOE MANCHIN (D-W.Va.) was the only senator on the talk shows today who didn’t rule one out completely. Others, from CHRIS MURPHY (D-Conn.) to JONI ERNST (R-Iowa) and MARCO RUBIO (R-Fla.), said enforcing one would require the U.S. to enforce it, shoot down Russian planes and essentially go to war with Russia.
“If people understood what it means, it means World War III,” Rubio said. “It means starting World War III.” More on the no-fly zone from Maeve Sheehey … More on the latest in Ukraine in a minute …
MEANWHILE …
TRUMP’S LATEST ‘VERY STABLE GENIUS’ IDEA — During a more than 80-minute speech to RNC donors Saturday night, former President DONALD TRUMP offered up his own suggestion for the Ukraine situation: He said that the U.S. should label a bunch of its F-22 fighter plans with Chinese flags — then “bomb the shit out of Russia.”
“And then we say, ‘China did it, we didn’t do,’” he said. “‘China did it,’ and then they start fighting with each other and we sit back and watch.”
Such is the news from WaPo’s Josh Dawsey, who was up late Saturday night tweeting little tidbits of the outrageous things the former president said — then up early posting a scoopy takeout this morning. Some highlights: Trump called NATO a “paper tiger,” praised North Korean leader KIM JONG UN, attacked MITCH MCCONNELL and GEORGE CONWAY, and reminded the nation that he’s serious about running in 2024.
— What Trump said about 2024: “We will see a Republican president reclaim that beautiful White House in 2024. I wonder who that might be,” he said, per Alex Isenstadt. “We are looking at it very, very strongly, because we have to do it, we have to do it.”
— Related read: AP’s Jill Colvin writes that the war in Ukraine is undermining Trump’s “America First” approach to foreign policy, as multilateral alliances step up in a show of unity. “Perhaps most fundamentally, the war is a fresh reminder, observers say, that the U.S. can’t simply ignore the world’s problems, even if that’s sometimes a politically appealing way to connect with voters facing their own daily struggles.”
Ch still will not accept the fact that Trump is as dangerous as Putin
I find myself in total agreement with this FOX NEWS video!
Note that at the beginning the extremely angry Ukrainian soldier blamed BIDEN and OBAMA AND TRUMP for not living up to their commitments to his people.
As for gas from Russia, I think the Biden administration is about to stop getting ANY oil/gas from Russia,
and fighter planes will soon be on the way to Ukrainian pilots who can fly them.
And as was STRONGLY POINTED OUT on the video,
it is impossible for a nation of millions of people to be held by a force of a few hundred thousand when the populace is AGAINST them.
Good to hear square talk and straight talk and reasonable talk from FOX NEWS for a change.
Apparently they are getting the memo that THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY MORE TRUMP SUPPORTERS ROOTIN' FOR PUTIN.
Alky, I’m about to pop some maple marinaded pork chops, fresh pineapple and bok choy on the Egg.
What will come with your mashed nanners?

A lot of oligarchs in Russia are eating well right now, aware that the day may come when they may not be able to do that anymore in prison. Think of that as you enjoy your meal.

And as was STRONGLY POINTED OUT on the video,
it is impossible for a nation of millions of people to be held by a force of a few hundred thousand when the populace is SO STRONGLY AGAINST them and also WHEN SO MANY SEVERE SANCTIONS ARE BEING PUT UP AGAINST THEM.

Biden Advisers Weigh Saudi Arabia Trip
“President Biden’s advisers are discussing a possible visit to Saudi Arabia this spring to help repair relations and convince the Kingdom to pump more oil,”
Axios reports.
“A hat-in-hand trip would illustrate the gravity of the global energy crisis driven by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“The possibility also shows how Russia’s invasion is scrambling world’s alliances, forcing the U.S. to reorder its priorities — and potentially recalibrating its emphasis on human rights.”
IF WE COULD GET HUMAN RIGHTS AND FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND REAL DEMOCRACY RESTORED TO RUSSIA, IT WOULD BE WORTH LOSING SOME GROUND ON HUMAN RIGHTS WITH THE STINKING CORRUPT SAUDIS.

'I'm just so mad!' Fox News host throws a fit because Biden's wartime poll numbers are 'inching up'

March 06, 2022
Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy on Sunday lashed out at Democrats who have noticed that President Joe Biden's poll numbers are on the rise as he handles the war in Ukraine.
During a segment on Fox News about the Ukraine war, Campos-Duffy argued that Biden could have deployed more military resources before the conflict began.
"Why didn't you act sooner?" she said, quoting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. "I say that because Democrats right now are very ecstatic over what they see as poll numbers inching up for Joe Biden."
"[CNN contributor] Chris Cillizza said now there is an opportunity for a Biden comeback," the Fox News host continued. "They are looking at it as a political opportunity to somehow show this wartime president. We didn't need a wartime president. We got one because he was so weak!"
Campos-Duffy added: "I'm sorry. I know you guys are focusing on all the troop movements. I'm just so mad that we're in this situation!"

I agree that "we didn't need a wartime president."
But we got one because TRUMP was so weak!
PUTIN was just crazy with joy that Trump would be reelected and would withdraw the U.S.A. from NATO.
Ever since Trump lost by millions of votes, Putin has been going on a downhill slide into madness, culminating in this VERY UNWISE and SHORTSIGHTED invasion.
I agree "we didn't need a wartime president."

Another Cold War??
A new Cold War without rules: U.S. braces for a long-term confrontation with Russia
Analysis: Unlike the struggle against the Soviet Union, economic warfare is a key element in this new standoff with Moscow.

The United States and its allies are girding for a long-term confrontation with Russia, a contest of wills reminiscent of the Cold War, triggered by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, current and former U.S. and European officials say.
With Putin showing no sign he is ready to pull back Russian troops shelling Ukrainian cities, and with the United States and Europe vowing to arm Ukrainian forces and wage unlimited economic warfare on Russia, there is no end in sight to the emerging duel between the West and Russia.
“I think we are going to have to face it as something that we’re going to have to deal with for quite some time and be quite resolute and creative about confronting it,” said Eliot Cohen, a professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, who served in George W. Bush’s administration.
As in the Cold War, countries are being forced to choose sides in a clash that President Joe Biden and European leaders describe as a struggle between democracy and authoritarianism, between the rules-based order set up after World War II and the “law of the jungle” where might makes right.
“Any nation that countenances Russia’s naked aggression against Ukraine will be stained by association,” Biden said in his State of the Union address last week.
His speech carried echoes of past presidents during the Cold War, who also vowed to lead the “free world” against the threat from Moscow. And Biden’s top diplomat, Antony Blinken, also employed similar rhetoric that recalled the Cold War years.
If so...it's better than a Third World War

Venezuela kputz is so stupid troll
By easing the sanctions now, the U.S. would redirect Venezuelan oil exports out of an opaque China-bound export network and back to Gulf Coast refiners that process the heavy crude Venezuela produces, people familiar with the administration’s thinking on the matter said.
It also would peel Caracas out of the political orbit of Russia, which has helped Venezuela sidestep U.S. sanctions by putting its financial system to work processing payments for PDVSA, as the Venezuelan state oil company is known. And sanctions relief would replace Iran’s supply of condensate—a very light oil that PDVSA uses to dilute its extra-heavy oil—with Western-supplied diluents like naphtha, according to people familiar with the Biden administration’s strategy.
With the help of its allies, Venezuela’s authoritarian regime—which the U.S. accuses of widespread rights abuses—was able to increase production to about 760,000 barrels a day in 2021. That is only a quarter of what it pumped in the 1990s. But Reinaldo Quintero, president of the association representing Venezuelan oil companies, estimated that the country could get production up to 1.2 million barrels a day in under eight months, particularly if Chevron, the only major American oil producer in Venezuela, can jack up pumping.
Mr. Quintero, who with other Venezuelan oil company representatives has met with U.S. officials in Washington in the past to discuss sanctions relief, said they have worked to convince “the American government that the vacuum they leave behind in Venezuela is occupied by another economic actor.”
The U.S. in 2020 imported about 7.86 million barrels of oil from many countries, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Russia exported about 540,000 barrels a day to the U.S. in 2021, a little under what Venezuela exported to American refineries in 2018 before sanctions shut off the spigot.
Mr. Quintero said with the U.S. weighing cutting off Russian exports, Venezuela could in time replace Moscow. “How are they going to resolve the issue of the crude they need if they don’t consider Venezuela, which can replace a good slice,” Mr. Quintero said.
But even without sanctions, Venezuela faces serious challenges to increasing oil production, said Francisco Monaldi, a Venezuelan who is director of the Latin America Energy Program at Rice University’s Baker Institute.
There have been no new wells drilled in Venezuela for months, he said, and to reach significant production levels Venezuela would need investments of $12 billion a year for five years. The country that was essential in providing crude to the Allied effort in World War II now pays down debt with oil to China. And Mr. Monaldi said its production is a “drop in the bucket in the world oil market.”
“This won’t help ease the pain at the pump for American consumers,” Mr. Monaldi said of the possible lifting of oil sanctions.
Nobody is in favor of Putin except for Trump.
But President Biden's speech carried echoes of past presidents during the Cold War, who also vowed to lead the “free world” against the threat from Moscow. And Biden’s top diplomat, Antony Blinken, also employed similar rhetoric that recalled the Cold War years.
If so...it's better than a Third World War
Putin will be looking for an out as 'more Russian body bags go home to Moscow': military expert
This is why I agree with the cold war two is going to happen.
Appearing on MSNBC's "The Sunday Show" retired Admiral James Stavridis claimed Vladimir Putin and his generals botched the invasion of Ukraine and the Russian president will be looking for a way out as the war dead are returned to back to their families.
Speaking with host Johnathan Capehart, the military expert went into detail about strategic mistakes the Russians are making and said Putin may end up looking for a "climbdown" before things get worse at home.
Discussing how the war is going, Stavridis suggested, "As to whether Putin wants a way out, we have to turn over a few more cards and I will tell you this: the more Russian body bags go home to Moscow, the more likely he is to find a climbdown here."
"What we need to do is provide the Ukrainians the means to fight; anti-armor and intelligence and cyber over-watch," he explained. "We need to slam Putin with heavy sanctions. I would argue to include oil and gas and above all we need to continue to rally the NATO alliance, move our forces to the border, continue that flow of military equipment into Ukraine."
He will have no other choice short of a war he can't win

Biden is the one in favor of trump. He is will8bg to sanction anything except the russian oil that drives Putin's economy. This, even with both parties opposing Biden's Russian friendly policies.
Trump was arming the Ukrainians. Biden stopped it h8s first week in office.
"Don't underestimate Joe's ability to f*** things up," as President Obama used to say.
What's an incompetent president to do? Not reverse his bad decisions on domestic energy production, of course. Joe's looking for a bailout -- from Venezuela.
According to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, the U.S. has committed more than $1 billion in total security assistance to Ukraine in the past year alone. That includes an additional $350 million defense aid package for Ukraine approved by Biden last week. Compare that to Trump who, while he was president, slow-walked $250 million in military aid to Ukraine in a quid pro quo scheme to strong-arm President Volodymyr Zelensky into manufacturing dirt on Biden and his family.

Russian Television Hacked with War Footage
GOOD!!!!
JUST LET THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE KNOW THE ATROCITIES PUTIN IS COMMITTING WITHOUT THEIR KNOWING IT IN THEIR NAME WHILE KEEPING IT SECRET AND TELLING THEM ABSOLUTE LIES!!!
The hacker group Anonymous on Sunday has hacked Russian streaming services and live TV channels to broadcast footage of the war with Ukraine, the Jerusalem Post reports.
Anonymous also allegedly posted photos on Twitter instead broadcasting a message that “ordinary Russians are against the war” and a call for Russians to oppose the Russian attack on Ukraine. [edited to make sense]

DESPICABLE BEYOND WORDS.
THE JERUSALEM POST:
The hacker group Anonymous has hacked Russian streaming services on Sunday, hitting Wink and Ivi, as well as live TV channels Russia 24, Channel One, and Moscow 24 to broadcast footage of the war with Ukraine.
Anonymous also posted photos on Twitter showing that instead of regular broadcasting, a message appeared stating that "ordinary Russians are against the war" and called for Russians to oppose the Russian attack on Ukraine.
Anonymous has been actively targeting Russia in cyberspace since the initial assault on Ukraine began on February 24.
In the days since, the group has claimed credit for several cyberattacks including DDOS attacks and the complete shutdown of government sites, which brought Russia's media and government sector to a grinding halt on the internet.
GREAT!
From shutting down the Kremlin's official website to Russian "propaganda" news outlets the group certainly has been busy.
However, the group itself is more of an informal collective rather than a unified outfit, making the attacks themselves difficult to attribute to them fully.
Its targets in the past have included the CIA, the Church of Scientology, and the Islamic State, and widespread arrests of alleged members were made in the US in the 2010s.
But the group's loose structure can also drastically change their goals as well as the hackers they attract.
While anyone could theoretically use the Anonymous handle the group does seem a lot more organized in the case of the Ukrainian war, and a lot more focused on their own "declaration of war" against Russia.
GOOD!
The Russian-Ukrainian stage has brought to light the importance of cyberspace in the modern battlefield, with several skirmishes hitting both sides as the war continues. Even Elon Musks Starlink was hit with disruptions almost as soon as it was implemented in Ukraine.
The Guardian
The war in Ukraine has given an unexpected boost to Biden’s efforts to revive bipartisanship in Washington. Republicans have been broadly supportive and gave him several standing ovations when he discussed the conflict at the start of his State of the Union address last week. But the truce only goes so far.
Some Republicans argue that Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan betrayed weakness and encouraged Putin and that the invasion would not have happened if Trump was still in the White House. They say the sanctions have been too slow and incremental. And they are joining Democrats in pushing the president to ban Russian oil imports while calling for American energy independence.
Forty years of foreign affairs experience by President Biden is paying off
Leon Panetta
Biden, however, has been reluctant to call out his Republican critics so far, and his approval rating has begun to climb since the crisis began, according to a PBSNewsHour/NPR/Marist poll. About half of the American public – 52% – said this week they support how the president is handling the situation in Ukraine. This was up from two weeks ago when about a third said they approved.
Leon Panetta, a former defense secretary and CIA director, said: “Forty years of foreign affairs experience by President Biden is paying off. We weren’t sure with Afghanistan but it clearly is paying off now in the way he’s been able to establish a unified approach between the US and our Nato allies. The bottom line is that we could not have made Putin pay a price were it not for that unity.”
There appears to have been determination not repeat the blunders of Afghanistan, when allies felt blindsided as the Taliban rapidly took over and the US and western governments fled.
Panetta, co-founder of the Panetta Institute for Public Policy , added: “Presidents are always tested by crisis but presidents have to learn from their mistakes and I think President Biden knows what he did wrong and knows now what he has to do to provide that leadership.
“In some ways I thought Afghanistan was kind of his Bay of Pigs but John Kennedy was able to come back and really establish a strong foreign policy and I’m hoping that Joe Biden can do the same. He will be tested but, having put together this unified approach, I feel confident that he will now see it see it through. You have to remain strong. You can’t blink when it comes to dealing with Putin.”
That Trump came to New Orleans at all — he rarely leaves his properties — and that the GOP did not hold the event in Palm Beach, Fla., at his club as they did last year were signs to some that his influence has faded. Last year, his speech was widely panned, and some donors left early, as he made it all about the election.
Trump spent much of the evening talking about the fighting in Ukraine and sought to project strength on his foreign policy record, regaling the crowd with a long story about how his administration took on the Islamic State militant group.
He bragged about pushing NATO — which he called a “paper tiger” — to force its countries to pay more for joint defense, but did not mention that he threatened to pull out altogether. He attacked Biden for rising inflation and gas prices, using exaggerated numbers in some cases, and said countries were “emptying their prisons” in the United States until he came along.
He mocked Biden for continually saying the United States would not militarily attack Russia but offered ambivalence on exactly what he could do. “We’re not spreading democracy at the point of a gun,” he said. Trump said Putin had talked more about nuclear power recently because he did not respect Biden, but he did not offer proof. And he said Biden should take a more belligerent tone.
“At what point do we say we cannot take this massive crime against humanity? We can’t let it happen. We can’t let it continue to happen,” he said.
He said the military, under his watch, had gotten in “skirmishes” with Russian troops and won, but he did not say more.
And he ominously spoke of Putin being more willing to engage in nuclear war — even referencing World War III — because Biden is president. He said that around the world, others would become more aggressive, too, without him.
“Watch China. You watch what’s going to happen there. Everything seems to be falling to pieces,” he said. “[Biden’s] complete and gross incompetence, they threaten a much wider world.”
Biden has received some plaudits for his handling of the Ukraine situation among foreign policy experts.
Trump reiterated some of his frequently repeated falsehoods and petty grievances. “The global warming hoax, it just never ends,” he said. He mocked the concept of sea levels rising, disputing widely held science. “To which I say, great, we have more waterfront property,” he said.
“There was a big thing about global cooling — what will be next?” he said. Trump said he was more concerned about “nuclear warming” than global warming.
He bragged about his crowds, inflating numbers at recent rallies, and mocked Biden for observing social distancing during the 2020 campaign. “He’d have eight circles and he’d have to get the media to fill them,” he said, describing the distanced seats Biden’s team would put out at rallies, with circles around them.
Trump called George Conway, the husband of Kellyanne Conway and a fierce critic of the former president’s, a “stupid son of a b----” and questioned why she married him, even as he extensively praised her. He mocked several of his former aides, including John Bolton, who he said only loved going to war. And he labeled Rep. Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.), who led the congressional impeachment probes against him, a “watermelon head … because his head is shaped like a watermelon.”

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE LIARS !
The latest inflation report says that prices rose 7.5 percent over the past year, the highest inflation rate in 30 years. And according to the corporate media, it's all because of Joe Biden and government spending.
That's hogwash.
In fact, one of the biggest drivers of inflation is something the mainstream media never talks about at all: the outsized power of corporations.
Just two companies, Procter & Gamble and Kimberly-Clark, dominate the market for household paper products like diapers and toilet paper. Four large meat-processing conglomerates control the prices of beef, pork, and poultry. And don't get me started on Amazon and Walmart.
These companies aren't raising prices because they have to. They're raising prices BECAUSE THEY CAN.
But the American people aren't hearing any of this, and that's a big, big problem. Because if the voters don't get the real story about monopolistic power and what's causing inflation, they won't know what solutions to demand from their elected officials.
Worse yet, they just might end up rewarding the very corporations responsible for the problem by electing a Republican majority in Congress—whose corporate campaign donations ensure they won't break up corporate monopoly power.
Inequality Media Civic Action has launched a major public education campaign across all our platforms to make sure the American people know the truth about inflation and call out the corporate media's misinformation. Will you chip in and help support our critical work?
If markets were truly competitive, companies would need to keep their prices down in order to prevent competitors from grabbing away customers. But greedy corporations are raising prices even as they rake in record profits.
How can this be? The answer is that they have so much market power they can artificially drive up prices with impunity.
Again: The lion's share of the market for toilet paper is controlled by just two companies: P&G and Kimberly-Clark. So last April, when they jacked up prices, we had no choice but to pay up.
Or consider another consumer product duopoly—PepsiCo (the parent company of Frito-Lay, Gatorade, Quaker, Tropicana, and other brands), and Coca-Cola. In April, PepsiCo announced it was increasing prices. Then, just like clockwork, its only major competitor announced similar price hikes.
In every case, the companies blamed higher costs on labor, freight, and raw materials. But in every case, these companies were also recording record profits, and their CEOs were raking it in.
In other words, they're lying to you. They're using "inflation" as an excuse to price gouge and fatten compensation packages for their executives.
Here's the thing. Turning dry economic concepts into social media content that that people (including young folks) will actually watch is a huge task! But the brilliant creative team at Inequality Media Civic Action has figured it out—and they continue to exceed my expectations. Plus, we've built an online audience of more than 6.5 million followers, including a surprisingly large number of conservatives and independents. So we can reach the people we need, even as viewing habits change and attention spans get shorter, with a small team on a shoestring budget.

The American Thinker wants a new civil war.
I’m not suggesting here that Americans wouldn’t act heroically in the face of foreign military invasion. I also don’t think such bravery would be limited to “conservative” Americans, and I’m willing to wager that traditionally “liberal” (not Left) Americans would join the fight in larger numbers than we’d give them credit for. But we continue to suffer from the self-inflicted wounds of horrible leadership, which in turn can only exist in a culture that has been thoroughly corrupted beforehand.
A recent Pew Research Poll showed that only 68% of Americans have confidence in our military (read: military leadership, not the rank-and-file soldiery). After the Afghan humiliation and our generals’ obsession with wokeness, I’m surprised the number is that high. After General “Hundred Medals” Milley handed the Taliban $80 billion in weaponry, thirteen American corpses, and a propaganda victory too valuable to price, he was publicly criticized by one military officer. One.
The same poll shows that levels of trust continue to fall for our medical institutions, our public schools, our media, and, of course, our politicians. These once-noble institutions are now unabashed mouthpieces for the Groupthink Left, as is evident by their despicable responses to the Ukraine crisis.
I don’t know all the reasons why Ukrainians muster the national resolve that we can’t. Maybe it’s because the constant threat of a looming Russia gave them common purpose. Maybe it’s because Ukraine is a smaller country. Whatever the reasons, there was a time when America felt the same level of devotion and loyalty from her citizenry that Ukraine does now. But not anymore.
We don’t have to let our self-proclaimed elite dictate our culture to us. We can shape that ourselves and force the slow trickle of change upward. But we have to live it, not just preach it. We American conservatives like to talk a big game about how many scalps we’d take in the event of either a foreign invasion or a civil war. That's great, but right now America doesn't need battlefield heroics. America needs living examples of patriotic, religious citizens, doing the day in, day out, decades-long thankless work of reclaiming our culture through the examples we set in living our lives, raising our children, and interacting with our communities. And in the event that we ever need to rise as one nation against enemies foreign or domestic, we can proudly follow in the footsteps the Ukrainians are now walking.

If you're getting economic advice from a Marxist dwarf like Lil' Bobby "Third" Reich, you're an imbecile.
then why DID we actually make any guarantees to Ukraine that we would protect them if they were willing to push back against Russia and look at joining NATO. We always had to know that Ukraine flirting with NATO would prompt some sort of response from Putin. Why claim we would protect them in that case if we were never willing to do so?
Every nation on earth who believes the promises coming from an American democrat deserves everything they get, or in this case, don't get as it relates to "protection."
The eastward expansion of NATO is something that Putin feels genuinely threatened by, and it's not hard to see why from his vantage point.
NATO is a relic of a bygone era which today only serves to allow our European 'allies' to be lazy, and to slough off their defense on the US. It's the same with the UN. We pick up 90+% of the tab for running THAT clown show, and everyone in the General Assembly is either openly hostile to us, or just hates us for no other reason other than - they can.
If we were smart, which we're not, we'd shit-can both for the sake of our national interest, and focus on what is in the best interests of the US... for a change. Instead we go begging to our enemies hat in hand for more oil, we continue to support Putin's war by continuing to buy his, and we pursue another Iran nuke deal that has Putin on THEIR side, while their threat to wipe Israel off the map remains quite real. And to add insult to injury, we send Cum-Allah the cum dumpster to Munich to illustrate to the world just how fucking stupid we are.
I'm not sure it's humanly possible to fuck up US foreign policy more if you tried.
Fortunately we're focused on the really, really important shit... like the outlier NPR/Marist poll that shows Sloppy Joe's approval rising to 47%.
Whee.

Ukraine should have kept out of U.S. politics and impeachment psychodramas—and especially kept clear of the toxic Biden family grifting syndicate.
But for now, all those “shoulds” and “coulds” must be considered after Putin is stopped. He believes he can and will eventually swallow Ukraine, regardless of the costs in Russian blood and treasure or the barbaric killing of innocent Ukrainian civilians. He has pivoted from the failed “easy” Georgia-Crimea model to the messy Chechnya fallback plan—and thus is going medieval in Ukraine.
Worse still, Putin thinks he still can win ugly—maybe even the uglier the better. Then months from now a supposedly galvanized West will fear him even more and remember even less the fate of Ukraine. He assumes Europeans will pivot back and only recall that by hook or crook the Napoleonic Putin had swallowed Ukraine—and in the future could do the same anywhere he wished in his neighborhood.
The leaders of the European Union and NATO are now giving Churchillian speeches. They promise to retract their prior green nihilism. They pledge to pump oil and extract more natural gas. They claim they are through with the appeasing Nord Stream 2 pipeline. They say they will now welcome a Greek-Cypriot-Israeli EastMed pipeline into southern Europe. They soar in rhetoric about a new NATO armed to the teeth by Europeans, shocked by the fate of Ukraine.
Let us pray this is all true.

“Russia faces a crushing economic recession on the scale of its 1998 financial crisis, top analysts have predicted, with savings wiped out and the currency devastated,” the London Telegraph reports.
“Sanctions imposed by western nations and their allies in response to the invasion of Ukraine will slash the size of the country’s economy by 11 percent in the coming months, according to forecasts by JP Morgan.”

China’s foreign minister said the Taiwan issue is fundamentally different from the Ukraine situation as it is a “purely domestic affair” rather than between two countries, the South China Morning Post reports.
Oil Traders Bet on $200 a Barrel by Month’s End

“Traders piled into options that oil could surge even further after rising to the highest since 2008, with some even placing low-cost bets that futures will rise above $200 before the end of March,” Bloomberg reports.
U.S. Walks to the Edge of Direct Conflict
7:38 am EST
“In less than a week, the United States and NATO have pushed more than 17,000 antitank weapons, including Javelin missiles, over the borders of Poland and Romania, unloading them from giant military cargo planes so they can make the trip by land to Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, and other major cities,” the New York Times reports.
“So far, Russian forces have been so preoccupied in other parts of the country that they have not targeted the arms supply lines, but few think that can last. But those are only the most visible contributions. Hidden away on bases around Eastern Europe, forces from United States Cyber Command known as ‘cyber-mission teams’ are in place to interfere with Russia’s digital attacks and communications — but measuring their success rate is difficult.”
Stakes Rise as Putin Says War Will Continue
7:34 am EST
“As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine heads toward the two week mark, the stakes for both sides in the ground war look set to rise, with potentially catastrophic implications for Ukrainian civilians and greater challenges for the country’s so far remarkably successful defense,” Bloomberg reports.
“President Vladimir Putin said again on Sunday the war will continue until Ukraine accepts his demands and halts resistance, dimming hopes for a negotiated settlement. Putin says Ukraine must ‘demilitarize’ and he has made clear his goal is to remove the current government.”
New York Times:
“President Volodymyr Zelensky warned his nation to expect a renewed bombardment of major cities today.”

Russian Humanitarian Routes Called ‘Immoral’ Stunt
6:55 am EST
“Ukraine criticized the Kremlin’s announcement of new humanitarian corridors to transport civilians to Russia and Belarus as an ‘immoral’ stunt ahead of a third round of peace talks set to begin Monday,” Axios reports.
Playbook:
“You no doubt saw the horrific images of civilians being attacked in Irpin, outside Kyiv, as they tried to evacuate Sunday.
“People around the world awoke to this ghastly photograph… of a mother and her two children lying dead on the ground while a Ukrainian soldier tried to save a male friend traveling with them. He later died.”
GOP ‘Unforced Errors’ Threaten Path to Senate Control
6:50 am EST
“As the prospect of a red wave grows, a series of Republican missteps including
recruiting stumbles,
weak fundraising
and intense infighting is threatening the GOP’s path to the Senate majority,”
the AP reports.
“Republican candidates in Arizona, Georgia and Nevada are struggling to keep pace with Democratic fundraising.
Recruiting failures have dashed GOP hopes in reach states like Maryland and threaten a prime pickup opportunity in New Hampshire. And a recent plan that would raise taxes on low-income Americans and seniors, released by the Republican Senate midterm chief, Florida Sen. Rick Scott, is putting GOP candidates in a difficult position across states like Wisconsin, Ohio and Florida.
“With Democrats confronting historic headwinds and the weight of an unpopular president,
a Republican Senate majority is easily within reach.
But, sensing discord within the GOP, Democrats are suddenly optimistic they may have a path to hold — or even expand — their majority.”
Macron Keeps an Open Line to Putin
6:39 am EST
Associated Press:
“There is no other foreign leader that Macron has tried to bring closer to his corner than Putin. Macron, a staunch European, was confident that a mixture of personal charm and the splendor of France’s past would convince Putin to keep Russia within the European security habitat.
“Macron first hosted Putin in the sumptuous Place of Versailles in 2017. Two years later they discussed stalled Ukraine peace talks in Macron’s summer residence at the Fort de Bregancon on the French Riviera as Macron tried to build on European diplomacy that had helped ease hostilities in the past.”

Dark Money Group Goes After Trump’s Lawyers
6:25 am EST
“A dark money group with ties to Democratic Party heavyweights will spend millions this year to expose and try to disbar more than 100 lawyers who worked on Donald Trump’s post-election lawsuits,”

But even though lawmakers have delayed passing new appropriations bills during the Biden presidency and instead simply extended Trump-era policies,
this time, there’s new pressure to get the so-called omnibus nailed down.

The White House recently asked Congress for $10 billion to help Ukraine defend itself against the Russian invasion — substantially more than the $6.4 billion it had requested a week ago.

So Blinken is our chief propagandist and bullshit artist:
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed he is looking “very actively” at a scheme for Poland to donate Soviet-designed jets to Ukraine and have them replaced with American jets — hours after the Polish government said the plan was “fake news”.
“We are looking actively now at the question of airplanes that Poland may provide to Ukraine and looking at how we might be able to backfill should Poland decide to supply those planes,” Blinken claimed during a visit to Moldova, which borders Ukraine and, like its larger neighbour, involuntarily hosts Russian-backed separatist territory.
“I can’t speak to a timeline but I can just say we’re looking at it very, very actively,” Blinken added in comments reported by The Financial Times.
A spokesman for the Joe Biden administration also discussed the proposed jet swaps with POLITICO, with an official telling them that the White House was “working with the Poles on this issue and consulting with the rest of our NATO allies”.
Mere hours beforehand, however, the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, had categorically denied that any such deal was on the cards, telling Eastern European online media outlet NEXTA that the claims were “FAKE NEWS”.
“Unfortunately you are spreading misinformation,” the Chancellery’s verified Twitter account posted in response to NEXTA citing Wall Street Journal reporting that Poland “may” provide Ukraine with MiG-29s and Su-25s.
“Poland won’t send its fighter jets to Ukraine [or] allow [Ukrainian pilots] to use [Polish] airports,” they added.

. . . the "Death to America"-chanting mullahs aren't enough. Fox News reported Sunday that "several senior Biden [junta] officials from the White House and State Department traveled to Venezuela on Saturday to meet with the Russian ally as Moscow's economy begins to crater under the weight of sanctions, according to a report." The idea is to entice the brutal hard-Left regime of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro away from Moscow's embrace. The U.S. used to be Venezuela's biggest customer for its oil exports, but the Trump administration put sanctions on those exports in view of the Venezuelan regime's tyrannical behavior and election fraud.
But for Biden's handlers, that sort of thing is no problem, as is clear from the fact that the [junta's] trip to Venezuela was "the highest-profile one to Venezuela from American officials in years." The agenda is obvious: "Some in the U.S. are considering Venezuelan oil as a possible substitute to Russian imports, as more American politicians say the U.S. needs to end its reliance on Russian oil, which could help finance Putin's war." Maduro opened the door to this himself on Thursday, saying: "Here lies the oil of Venezuela, which is available for whomever wants to produce and buy it, be it an investor from Asia, Europe or the United States."
It's astonishing that we have an administration that would rather buy oil from two regimes that terrorize their own people than take the steps that would restore the energy independence the United States enjoyed under the Trump administration. This is partly because the "adults" who are back in charge now are so spiteful, hateful, and immature that they must do the opposite of whatever Trump did, no matter how well it worked and how ill-advised the alternative. Biden's handlers also have to please the green energy advocates who form such an important part of their base and who apparently don't mind the environmental damage that results from the production of oil if it takes place in far-off countries and isn't on CNN.

As reported, Blinken is traveling to Belgium, Poland, the Baltic states and Moldova to reaffirm Washington's support for Ukraine.
The trip, from March 3 to 8, "continues extensive consultations and coordination with our NATO allies and European partners about the Russian Federation's continued premeditated, unprovoked, and unjustified war against Ukraine," the Department of State reported.
It is part of NATO. If he attacks them, we already have troopers there

@MarshaBlackburn:
"Joe Biden didn't let energy independence slip away. He was and is the architect of its destruction. When you go fill up your car every time, $20-25 more. Joe Biden did that. When you look at logistics cost and delivery fees, [...] You can thank Joe Biden."
Its quickly gone to $40-50 more and showing no signs of slowing down
We may see $200 fill-ups for the average car
And soaring electrical and home heating bills
Wonder what that will do to inflation and the mood of the country.
And the economy
Joe did that
I wonder if the botched Afghanistan withdrawal will be the highlight of the Biden presidency ?
He's fucked everything else up arguably worse
And things are getting worse
William Barr conceded that Donald Trump was responsible for the Jan. 6 insurrection as part of an effort to overturn his election loss.
The former attorney general sat down for an interview with NBC News anchor Lester Holt and cast blame on the twice-impeached former president for the U.S. Capitol riot.
"I do think he was responsible in the broad sense of that word in that it appears that it was part of the plan to send this group up to the Hill," Barr said. "I think the whole idea was to intimidate Congress, and I think that was wrong."
And I wonder how fucked up can walk and chew gum at the same time knowing the quality of his lacking intellect!!!!! BWAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

NEW - The U.S. government paid hundreds of media companies to advertise the COVID-19 vaccines.
However, most "did not feel the need" to disclose potential conflicts of interest in their reporting.

Putin justifies his invasion of Ukraine by saying he’s fighting white supremacy and Nazism.
Worth remembering the next time you hear the same justification.
I guess the liberals will be conflicted when they hear this

Now THIS is truly hilarious -
MIAMI — The nation’s first Spanish-language conservative network launches Tuesday morning on satellite radio, opening a new front in the political information wars targeting Latinos in the United States and beyond.
The network, called Americano, arrives during a crucial inflection point in U.S. politics, as more Hispanic voters show signs of drifting right and Democrats continue to sound the alarm about Spanish-language right-wing disinformation on social media and local radio, particularly in Miami, which is also Americano’s home base.
...
Americano’s founder and CEO, Ivan Garcia-Hidalgo, bristled at the notion that the privately funded network is going to purvey disinformation or misinformation, and accused Democrats of trying to cancel speech they don’t like.
"They’re scared. And they should be,” Garcia-Hidalgo said of Democrats in an interview. "Democrats took Hispanics for granted for too long, and no one thought to create a home for us in conservative media. There is an appetite for this. You see it on social media. You see it in elections."
...
Pollster Fernand Amandi, a Miami-based consultant who oversaw Barack Obama’s successful national Hispanic outreach, fretted that Americano could be a success — at least politically — even if it doesn’t spread falsehoods or conspiracies.
“For those concerned about the disinformation problem harming Democrats' chances with Hispanics, this is a Defcon 1 moment. We should worry,” Amandi said. “The Democrats’ response to all of this Hispanic outreach from Republicans — whether it's disinformation or conventional campaigning — is to do the bare minimum. Unfortunately, some Democrats are deluding themselves. The ultimate act of disinformation is to pretend that this is not a big problem.”

Jamie is a material gurl, living in his material world.
Donald Trump famously ran for president in 2016 saying he would surround himself with “only the best people.”
What’s striking is how many of the people that Trump brought into his administration he’s now denounced.
Here’s a partial list:
Vice President Mike Pence
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson
Secretary of Defense Mark Esper
Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis
Attorney General Jeff Sessions
Attorney General William Barr
Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao
Chief of Staff John Kelly
Chief of Staff Mark Mulvaney
National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster
National Security Adviser John Bolton
Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci
Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham
In every case, these are people who saw Trump up close and then unleashed often fierce criticism of him after they left the administration.
Trump responded — in every case — the only way he knows how: by slamming them as “terrible” or “slow” or “incompetent” or by some other variation of the same sentiment.
But, of course, Trump chose every one of them.
The most competent President in history according to Ch.

They hate the neocons like Bush and Cheney, that's why they love Trump, because he would have allowed Putin to attack Ukraine and the rest of the former Soviet Union empire.
Hate for Putin’s Russia Consumes Ukraine
March 7, 2022 at 11:37 am EST By Taegan Goddard
New York Times:
“It is a deep, seething bitterness for President Vladimir V. Putin,
his military
and his government.
But Ukrainians are not giving a pass to ordinary Russians, either,
calling them complicit through years of political passivity.
"The hatred is vented by mothers in bomb shelters,
by volunteers preparing to fight on the front lines,
by intellectuals and by artists.
“The emotion is so powerful it could not be assuaged even by an Orthodox religious holiday on Sunday intended to foster forgiveness before Lent.”

My comment:
They feel this far more strongly than you Trumpians do.
We have plenty to hate in the US as well, pederast.
Oil rose to $130.50/bbl last night. At this rate we'll be "enjoying" $200.00/bbl oil by Memorial Day.
But hey, let's keep buying oil from Putin to help finance his war. And let's also beg our enemies - Iran and Venezuela - to sell us oil as well.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/03/06/wisconsin-gop-investigation-2020-elections-farce/
The Rpublicans behind Wisconsin’s investigation into the 2020 election have made little effort to hide their intentions. Many of those supporting the investigation have connections to the Trump campaign. Leading the investigation is former Wisconsin Supreme Court justice Michael Gableman, no neutral arbiter but rather a man who told a group of supporters of former president Donald Trump in November 2020 that the election had been stolen. Asked last week if he had voted for Mr. Trump, he proudly declared: “You bet I did.”
No surprise, then, that the 136-page draft report released last week by Mr. Gableman was full of debunked claims of misdeeds, accompanied by Mr. Gableman’s suggestion to state lawmakers that they consider “decertifying” Wisconsin’s 2020 election results. That ridiculous suggestion, made during a state Assembly committee hearing, has no legal basis. Even Mr. Gableman conceded there would be no practical effect to such a move: Joe Biden is the president, and he can only be impeached or voted out of office.
