A new found faith in humanity?

Had a rough night last night back in Minnesota

Have you ever lost your wallet or purse? Few things are quite as disturbing as losing your wallet. You might have lost your ID, your credit cards, and even cash. You don't know if the wallet is innocently sitting out of the way where nobody notices it. You don't know if someone is using your credit cards or using your ID for identity theft. If you were traveling (as I am) you might wonder how you get back on a plane to get home without your ID.

Luckily I did not lose my wallet last night. But my 19 years son did at the Mall of America. We believe it was likely dropped in a changing room as he tried on some dress cloths for the funeral we went to today. Either way, he noticed he didn't have it as we left the mall, but thought he may have left it in his car. But when we got there he couldn't find it. We made a couple of calls to the stores we were in,  but all but one had closed and the one said that they would have probably turned it into Mall Security had they had found it. Mall security said that it would have turned it into Guest Services who was gone for the night. Either way it was a long shot. People rarely turn in wallets.

On top of his Driver's license, two bank cards, and a Visa card, he had gone to the bank earlier where he pulled out $550 for his portion of the rent and still had it in his wallet. The perfect storm and the worst possible time to lose a wallet. We went to bed believing it was gone. He had already canceled and ordered new cards and filled out a preform application to get a duplicate license. We had planned on going to the DMV to finish that request today.

On the way to the funeral he called gift services and asked just to make sure. I could hear the man say that someone had turned in a wallet that matched the description of his wallet with his ID in it. Whew!  At least there would be no need for a temporary license and we knew his wallet was not in the hands of a identity thief. Even if he lost the money, money can be replaced over time. But the peace of mind cannot be.  After the funeral we went to the mall and picked it up. As the security person walked up and handed to guest services I could already tell....

The wallet was fat. The money was still in it. Well not all of it. The person who turned it in looked to have helped themselves to one of the $50 bills. But there as $500 left in the wallet. That takes an honest person not to help themselves to $500 cash.  On top of that, my son learned a serious lesson. He will not be careless in the future about two things: carrying large amount of money on his person and making sure to check for your wallet when you come out of a dressing room.

The only time I did that was in 1970 I went to a concert in Rapid City. We called it Rapidstock! Ted Nugent and The Amboy Dukes plaid the final time. At 11:00 PM they turned on the lights. Ted Nugent said Turn the fucking lights off 🙄

I got my wallet back in the mail a few days later, and the only thing missing was about $50.

People were actually throwing joints into the crowd! We were all stoned.

Obviously not some scumbag leftist like the regulars around here.

Look at it this way - had the wallet been returned in full, the stand up thing to do would've been to hand the person a $50 as a finders fee; at least that's what I would've done. So he can consider himself even. And extremely lucky.

Faith in humanity 🙏 by Mike Pence.

Was Pence responsible for ending the joint congressional session abruptly, before all the electoral vote objections had been considered?  The answer is no.  Once again, he was present to preside, not to propose.  The session ended abruptly for a variety of reasons.  To some of the participants in the pro-Trump ingressions were a useful nuisance and provided a good excuse for ending the event they considered useless from the outset.  Others, on the other hand, were genuinely afraid that the pro-Trump mob, if further riled up, could produce a real danger to the Republic.  The few brave stalwarts like Josh Hawley of Missouri who were fighting to hear out the remaining objections were no match for the quitters.

Was Mike Pence a coward on January 6?  In no way.  He was, on the contrary, a perfect profile in courage.  He surely knew his actions would precipitate a tempest of vicious personal smear and slander from the very people he considered himself politically aligned with.

Despite that threat, he called on his strong moral compass and abiding Christian faith and did what was right.

If you hadn't got it back the POS "pastor" would have accused me of stealing it.

My guess is that the guy who found it turned it in full. Then gift services gifted themselves $50

They couldn't take the risk of reporting that it came back empty. Probably had the name of returnee in case you wanted to contact them. They knew it was possible the honest Samaritan could contact you if they had jotted the number down from the id.

1 bill missing could be a counting error...

Student forgiveness?

Someone pays that back Roger. If not the student, then I do... as a taxpayer. The loans are not being "forgiven" the Government is using our tax dollars to pay off the debt for them.

Why is it that nearly all of Democrat's ideas seem to to be buying one demographic's votes with other people's money?

Why is it that nearly all of Democrat's ideas seem to to be buying one demographic's votes with other people's money?

It's been that way since way before we were born and it will be that way until the fucking sun burns out.

When your base consists exclusive of the parasite class and those who wander around with a perpetual guilt complex it really can't be any other way.

My son is servicing some student loan debt. Not a ton like some of these fucking grievance studies majors who've racked up a couple hundred grand and have now embarked on a Starbucks career as a barista, but he has some and it's manageable. He's torn by the prospect of having it dumped on the taxpayer, and not "forgiven" as the left likes to LIE. He feels he signed up for it and he's solely responsible, and doesn't agree at all with having it wiped away. The only good part as far as he's concerned is that the grift won't work on him. Even if he's relieved of the debt he'll never vote for a fucking democrat ever.

I raised him right.

Some Republicans in Congress allegedly considered using martial law to keep Trump in office. Thankfully our institutions have held the line

This week has seen developments in two important legal battles. At stake is whether we are a society ruled by law or not. Without law, we face not survival of the fittest but survival of the fiercest – those most willing to use intimidation, force and violence to get their way.

First, a New York judge held Donald Trump in contempt for stiffing a subpoena from the state attorney general, Letitia James, for documents relating to her civil investigation of the Trump Organization. She is investigating Trump’s businesses for allegedly inflating financial statements to lenders.

Judges do not hold parties in contempt lightly. There needs to be an act so egregiously contemptuous of the law’s authority that a court cannot ignore it.

In this case, the New York state court found team Trump’s efforts to locate documents in response to the New York attorney general’s subpoena “woefully insufficient” and showing complete disdain for the legal process. Trump was fined $10,000 for every day he continues in noncompliance.

That court stood up for the rules that make our society work.

Georgia election results investigation

Return to menu

What is it: Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis (D), an elected prosecutor in the Atlanta area, is investigating efforts to overturn Trump’s loss in Georgia’s 2020 presidential election. Trump pressured Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) to “find” enough votes to reverse Biden’s victory. He also called the top Georgia state elections investigator and urged her to identify wrongdoing in the state’s vote. Prosecutors are scrutinizing Trump’s calls, as well as the circumstances around the sudden resignation of the U.S. attorney in Atlanta, according to an official familiar with the probe.

Story continues below advertisement

Where it stands: In January, judges granted Willis a special-purpose grand jury to aid her investigation. Willis said the grand jury, which can continue for up to 12 months, was needed because a “significant number of witnesses and prospective witnesses have refused to cooperate with the investigation absent a subpoena requiring their testimony.”

What’s at stake: Willis is investigating possible violations of Georgia state law, including whether anyone illegally solicited election fraud, made false statements to state and local government officials, made threats or participated in a criminal conspiracy. She is also looking at testimony before the state’s General Assembly, which held hearings where Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, and other Trump allies made unfounded allegations of election fraud.

What’s next: The grand jury will be seated starting Monday, according to the Associated Press, and will presumably issue subpoenas and potentially hear testimony from recalcitrant witnesses.

Georgia will join at least 17 other states that have passed laws or other policies to limit how teachers can discuss race and racism in classrooms. This sets a dangerous precedent that allows our democratic government to dictate, conceal and censor accurate information they disagree with. These bills were designed to distort the truth and sanitize history at a time when awareness of systemic racism is growing as a result of the last few years. The awareness frightens Republicans because educated people tend to vote for Democrats.

DHS Chief Can’t Say Whether Illegal Alien Terrorists Have Been Released Into U.S.

BySavannah Hulsey Pointer

Questions about the administration’s policy of releasing illegal immigrants into American towns have voters questioning the vetting system.

QUICK FACTS:Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted he cannot say for sure whether or not illegal aliens on the terror watch list have been released into American communities.Mayorkas was testifying before the House Judiciary Committee when he said he didn’t know where illegal aliens accused of terrorism or ties to terrorism might be after being apprehended.Some 42 illegal aliens on the FBI Terrorist Watch List or No-Fly List have been apprehended at the southern border.

MORE ON MAYORKAS TESTIMONY BEFORE CONGRESS:The DHS official was being questioned by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) who asked: “Secretary, have any of the 42 illegal migrants on the Terrorist Watch List or No-Fly List encountered at our southwest border been released into the United States?”Boyorkas replied, seeming to skirt the issue saying, “as I mentioned before, I will provide that data to you. With respect to the disposition of each one, I do not know the answer to your question.”“The Secretary of Homeland Security does not know the answer to the status of 42 individuals who came to our southern border illegally, are on the N0-Fly List and the Terrorist Watch List,” Jordan responded. “You do not know whether they have been released or not into the country. That’s your testimony?”“Ranking member Jordan, as I’ve said before, I will provide you the data,” Mayorkas responded before Jordan called his response “amazing” and yielded his time.

BACKGROUND:The Biden administration has been receiving pushback, particularly from Republicans, over their decision to bus and fly illegal aliens awaiting a court date to communities around the nation. More recently, Biden has released a plan to offer more taxpayer support for non-government organizations to provide more efficient transport for the influx of immigrants expected to be placed around the nation if Title 42 comes to an end.

Musk’s Ties to the Chinese Communist Party

ByJon Fleetwood

Elon Musk is heavily invested in China.

QUICK FACTS:Elon Musk opened a Tesla factory in Shanghai in 2019, as the Chinese government welcomed him with billions of dollars worth of cheap land, loans, tax breaks, and subsidies. “I really think China is the future,” Musk said at the time.A quarter of Tesla’s 2021 revenue came from China.Batteries for Tesla vehicles come from Chinese electric vehicle battery maker Contemporary Amprex Technology (CATL), which in June of 2021 extended a battery supply deal with Tesla that will last through December 2025. CATL is owned by Bohai Harvest RST, the Chinese fund manager in which Hunter Biden holds a 10% stake through his business, Skaneateles. On the 100th anniversary of China’s Communist Party last year, Musk tweeted that the “economic prosperity that China has achieved is truly amazing, especially in infrastructure!”“China rocks in my opinion,” Musk said in a July 2020 podcast from Automotive News. “People there—there’s a lot of smart, hardworking people, whereas I see in the United States increasingly much more complacency and entitlement.” Former Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) described Musk’s comment as “tone deaf to the legitimate national security concerns that members of Congress have.”Responding to Musk’s opening of a showroom in China’s Xinjiang region, where the Chinese govt. is reportedly committing genocide on the Uyghur people, Representative Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) office tweeted, “Nationless corporations are helping the Chinese Communist Party cover up genocide and slave labor in the region.”

CONGRESS DOESN’T HAVE “GOOD EYES” ON MUSK’S “FINANCIAL ENTANGLEMENTS WITH CHINA”:Rep. Chris Stewart (R-UT) is pursuing confidential briefings in Washington, D.C. with officials from agencies including the National Reconnaissance Office (which coordinates the launch of intelligence satellites) to find out whether the Chinese government has any direct or indirect links to SpaceX.Stewart also wants to determine whether any companies with Chinese ties have invested in privately-traded SpaceX.“I am a fan of Elon Musk and SpaceX, but anyone would be concerned if there are financial entanglements with China,” said Rep. Stewart, a senior member of the House Intelligence Committee. “Congress doesn’t have good eyes on this.”

WashingtonCNN —

Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and Fox’s Sean Hannity exchanged more than 80 text messages between Election Day 2020 and Joe Biden’s January 2021 inauguration, communications that show Hannity’s evolution from staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump’s election lies to being “fed up” with the “lunatics” hurting Trump’s cause in the days before January 6.

CNN obtained Meadows’ 2,319 text messages, which he selectively provided in December to the House committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. While the logs show Meadows communicating with multiple Fox personalities, as well as a number of journalists from other organizations, Hannity stands out with 82 messages. The texts, including dozens of newly disclosed messages, offer a real-time window into how Hannity, a close friend of Trump, was reacting to the election and its aftermath.

'That's not OK': Bash reacts to Hannity's texts to Mark Meadows

Throughout the logs, Hannity both gives advice and asks for direction, blurring the lines between his Fox show, his radio show and the Trump White House.

On the afternoon of Election Day, Hannity texted Meadows at 1:36 p.m. to ask about turnout in North Carolina. Two hours later, Meadows responded: “Stress every vote matters. Get out and vote. On radio.”

“Yes sir,” Hannity replied. “On it. Any place in particular we need a push.”

“Pennsylvania. NC AZ,” Meadows wrote, adding: “Nevada.”

“Got it. Everywhere,” Hannity said.

The texts also show the two men debating Trump’s strategy to challenge the election, complaining about Fox, and plotting about what to do after Trump left office – including possibly working together.

“You also need to spend at least half your time doing business with us,” Hannity texted Meadows on December 12. “And I’m serious. Did u ever talk to Fox. I’ve been at war with them.”

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

“I agree. We can make a powerful team,” Meadows responded. “I did not talk with (Fox News CEO) Suzanne (Scott) because I got tied up with pardons but I will make sure I connect. You are a true patriot and I am so very proud of you! Your friendship means a great deal to me.”

“Feeling is mutual,” Hannity wrote back.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Hannity did not respond to requests for comment from CNN; neither did Meadows or his attorney. A spokesman for the January 6 committee declined to comment.

Feeding the fraud conspiracies

Initially after the November 2020 election, Hannity appeared to be all in with Trump’s false election claims. On November 29, he texted Meadows saying he had his team trying to prove election fraud: “I’ve had my team digging into the numbers. There is no way Biden got these numbers. Just mathematically impossible. It’s so sad for this country they can pull this off in 2020. We need a major breakthrough, a video, something.”

Meadows responded, “You’re exactly right. Working on breakthrough.”

“Ok. Would be phenomenal,” Hannity texted back.

But several weeks later, as Trump’s team lost court challenges and the wild claims from attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell failed to materialize into anything more than false conspiracy theories,

Hannity checked in with Meadows on December 22, asking him how he was doing.

“Fighting like crazy. Went to Cobb county to review process. Very tough days but I will keep fighting,” Meadows said, referring to the Trump team’s objections to votes from Cobb County, Georgia.

While Hannity never appeared to dispute Trump’s false claims about the election itself, he expressed alarm at the tactics of some of those pushing Trump’s case. Hannity responded to Meadows, “You fighting is fine. The fing lunatics is NOT fine. They are NOT helping him. I’m fed up with those people.”

By New Year’s Eve, Hannity warned about the fallout if top White House lawyers resigned in protest. Hannity also appeared to accept the fact that the election was over and the President’s best course of action was to go to Florida and engage Biden from there.

“We can’t lose the entire WH counsels office. I do NOT see January 6 happening the way he is being told,” Hannity said. “After the 6 th. He should announce will lead the nationwide effort to reform voting integrity. Go to Fl and watch Joe mess up daily. Stay engaged. When he speaks people will listen.”

Prepping for a Trump interview

Hannity’s text messages to Meadows are of interest to the House select committee, which wrote to Hannity in January requesting an interview. That month, the panel released some of Hannity’s texts to Meadows showing his concern about what would happen on January 6, 2021.

After the letter was sent, Hannity’s attorney, Jay Sekulow, told CNN, “We are reviewing the committee’s letter and will respond as appropriate.”

The texts provide evidence of what many White House and Fox sources claimed during Trump’s time in office: That Hannity acted as a “shadow chief of staff” while also juggling radio and TV shows. Trump would frequently call into Hannity’s show – and Hannity appeared on stage with the President during his final 2018 campaign rally.

Supporters of President Donald Trump watch a video featuring Fox host Sean Hannity ahead of Trump's arrival to a campaign rally in Michigan on October 30, 2020.

While Hannity was fiercely loyal to Trump on-air, his off-air relationship was more complicated. He sometimes complained about Trump’s conduct and fretted that the President was hurting the Republican Party writ large.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

See what Hannity said on his show vs. what he said privately about Jan. 6

Hannity has said he is not a journalist, and Fox does not hold him to traditional journalistic standards. He is more akin to a GOP activist and entertainer, like some of his fellow Fox hosts. In addition to Hannity, Fox’s Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson, Maria Bartiromo and Brian Kilmeade all sent messages to Meadows as well.

Ad feedback

A spokesperson for Fox did not respond to a request for comment.

In one noteworthy text, Bartiromo messaged Meadows on the morning of November 29, less than an hour before she was set to conduct Trump’s first interview since Election Day. The text included questions she planned to ask Trump.

“Hi the public wants to know he will fight this. They want to hear a path to victory. & he’s in control,” Bartiromo texted at 9:21 a.m. “1Q You’ve said MANY TIMES THIS ELECTION IS RIGGED… And the facts are on your side. Let’s start there. What are the facts? Characterize what took place here. Then I will drill down on the fraud including the statistical impossibilities of Biden magic (federalist). Pls make sure he doesn’t go off on tangents. We want to know he is strong he is a fighter & he will win. This is no longer about him. This is about ????. I will ask him about big tech & media influencing ejection as well Toward end I’ll get to GA runoffs & then vaccines.”

Fox's Maria Bartiromo

At 10:12 a.m., Trump called into Bartiromo’s show, “Sunday Morning Futures.” Her line of questions mirrored much of what she laid out in the text message.

“Thank you for talking with us in the first interview since Election Day,” Bartiromo said. “Mr President, you’ve said many times that this election was rigged, that there was much fraud. And the facts are on your side. Let’s start there. Please go through the facts. Characterize what took place.”

The committee previously released texts from both Kilmeade and Ingraham expressing alarm over the attacks at the Capitol and its effect on Trump’s legacy. Tucker Carlson appears in only one exchange in the Meadows text logs, when he was trying to speak to Meadows while prepping for his show on November 17.

“Sorry I missed you. I was writing the show. Figured it out I think, but I appreciate it,” Carlson wrote.

The logs also show there were dozens of journalists from other organizations who texted with Meadows during this time period. In contrast to Hannity’s messages, these reporters were frequently seeking the White House chief of staff’s confirmation of breaking news or trying to secure an interview with Trump.

Meadows received texts from reporters with the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Politico, Bloomberg, NBC,

The "perfect phone call" is coming back to haunt him.

Fulton County prosecutors will begin selecting participants Monday for a special grand jury to consider whether former president Donald Trump should be charged for his attempts to pressure Georgia officials to overturn the results of the 2020 election, which he lost.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis asked a panel of judges in January for the special grand jury because of "information indicating a reasonable probability" that the election "was subject to possible criminal disruptions."

Willis has said in interviews that the investigation includes a January 2, 2021 phone call in which Trump told Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, "I just want to find 11,780 votes." Trump lost the state to Joe Biden by that margin — an outcome that was affirmed by several recounts.

Special grand juries are unusual. They focus on just one investigation, and can be impaneled for far longer than typical grand juries, which often consider charging recommendations for a variety of investigations.

This grand jury will have "an investigatory focus appropriate to the complexity of the facts and circumstances involved," Willis said in her January request.

Willis wrote in the request that "a significant number of witnesses and prospective witnesses have refused to cooperate with the investigation absent a subpoena requiring their testimony."

Willis said in an April 19 interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that she will wait until after the state's May 24 primaries to issue subpoenas to public officials — meaning the special grand jury may not hear witnesses until June.

"I don't want anyone to say 'oh, she's doing this because she wants to influence the outcome of this upcoming election,'" Willis told the newspaper.

Willis notified at least four state officials of her investigation in February 2021, sending document preservation notices to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Attorney General Chris Carr.

Trump said in a January 20 statement that "My phone call to the Secretary of State of Georgia was perfect."

A spokesperson for Trump claimed Friday in a text to CBS News that an "illegal ballot trafficking ring" had influenced the outcome of Georgia's election, referring to unproven claims often made by Trump and his supporters.

"A grand jury should be opened for the massive voter fraud in Georgia in 2020," said Liz Harrington, the Trump spokesperson.

Hmm yeah The Russian meddling is getting worse?

Americans are accustomed to walking on scorched earth,” Nikolai Patrushev, one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s most loyal and most powerful aides inside the Kremlin, said in a jarringly expansive interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta on Tuesday that touched on a variety of cultural and geopolitical grievances.

Using the kind of Soviet-era rhetoric that is more reminiscent of 1982 than 2022, Patrushev aimed his remarks not only at ordinary Russians but also, perhaps, to war dissenters in the West.

At other times, Patrushev seemed to borrow from the attacks that conservative Americans use against what they perceive as excesses in public education. (Russian media regularly amplifies the voices of Fox News host Tucker Carlson and other Biden administration critics seen as useful to the Kremlin’s purposes; Ria Novosti, the state news agency, ran a column this week praising Rod Dreher of the American Conservative for predicting that what he described as “transgender madness” would lead to “the collapse of Western civilization.”)

“Long ago, America divided the whole world into vassals and enemies,” he asserted, giving voice to the embittered views of a Kremlin inner circle that finds itself besieged by war losses and international condemnation. “From childhood in the United States they have it hammered into their heads that America is a shining city on a hill, while the rest of humanity is just a proving ground for [military] experiments and resource extraction.”

A three-year-old “racist” incident at a Virginia elementary school that helped trigger the woke revolution that made national headlines and pitted parents against schools boards may have all been based on a misunderstanding – and maybe even deception, The Daily Wire has learned.

In February 2019, parents of a black Loudoun County Public Schools elementary student complained after their son was instructed to pretend to be part of the Underground Railroad while navigating an obstacle course in phys ed class. The local NAACP chapter accused the school system of racism, prompting the district to hire racial consultants and create an “equity” bureaucracy.

“We don’t know how much of this is willful ignorance, how much of it is white privilege and how much of it is an intentional racist action or if it’s a combination of all three,” Michelle Thomas, the then-head of the Loudoun branch of the NAACP, told the Washington Post. “It’s unacceptable.”

The district swung into action, doling out a $500,000 contract to a firm called Equity Collaborative to help cleanse it of racism.

“Loudoun County Public Schools does not endorse the use of instructional strategies that place elementary students in role-playing situations depicting the institution of slavery,” the district said in a statement. “If your lesson plans contain role-playing or re-enactments around the topic of slavery, it is imperative that you not implement that activity and that no student is placed in such a role.”

It was one of Loudoun County schools’ earliest steps down a road that would eventually make it the epicenter of parent-school board clashes over transgender, race, and sex education policies. The curriculum and social policy debate that would erupt two years later in Loudoun County drove national headlines and animated political races around the country.

Yet it all appears to be rooted in confusion over the far Left’s penchant for teaching “anti-racism” by employing tactics that are themselves objectively racist and by knee-jerk reactions of local leaders quick to accuse and quicker to apologize.

This year, the most high-profile races will unfold in four of the six states where Trump disputed his 2020 loss to President Joe Biden: Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and Michigan. Trump has endorsed secretary of state candidates in all but one, backing those who support his false claims.

There is no proof of widespread fraud or wrongdoing. Judges, including ones appointed by Trump, dismissed dozens of lawsuits filed by the former president and his allies after the 2020 election.

Last year, an Associated Press review of every potential 2020 voter fraud case in the six states disputed by Trump found nowhere near enough cases to change the outcome.

Kristina Karamo, Trump’s pick in Michigan, is the first to advance to the November election after state Republicans nominated her at the party’s April 23 convention. A community college professor, Karamo gained prominence after the 2020 election claiming she had seen irregularities in the processing of mail ballots while serving as an election observer in Detroit.

At a rally with Trump before the convention, she accused the media of trying to demonize her, adding “corruption in our elections systems is a national security threat.” She will face Benson, a former law school dean seeking her second term.

“All one has to imagine is what it would be like or what it would have been like if Brad Raffensperger had said, ‘Yes, I will find you those votes and deliver Georgia for you,’” Benson said. “That’s what could happen if you have an election denier serving as secretary of state.”

Raffensperger is the Republican secretary of state in Georgia who withstood enormous pressure to uphold the results of the presidential race there, won by Biden. At one point after the election, Trump called Raffensperger and asked him to “find” nearly 12,000 votes to overturn Biden’s win.

Of the 25 secretary of state races on the ballot this year, nine Republican and seven Democratic incumbents are running to keep their seats. While only one of the Democratic incumbents has drawn a challenger, seven Republican secretaries will be facing at least one GOP opponent who either denies Biden won or makes unsubstantiated claims that elections are not secure.

This includes Raffensperger, who rebuffed Trump’s demands and has drawn three primary challengers. Among them is one endorsed by Trump, U.S. Rep. Jody Hice, who objected to Georgia’s electoral votes being counted for Biden.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger speaks at the Law Enforcement Appreciation Cookout held at Wayne Dashers pond house in Glennville, Ga., on Thursday, April 14, 2022. The annual event, paused during the pandemic, draws Republican politicians from around the state.

In nine states, incumbents have opted against seeking reelection, are running for higher office or are term-limited, leaving open contests. This includes Arizona and Nevada, which hold primaries in the coming months.

Both races feature Republican candidates ― Arizona’s Mark Finchem and Nevada’s Jim Marchant ― who have questioned the outcome of the 2020 election.

Another high-profile race is unfolding in Colorado, where a Republican county clerk under indictment for a security breach of voting systems is running to challenge Secretary of State Jena Griswold, a Democrat seeking a second term.

Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters has denied the charges, calling them politically motivated. She has been a frequent guest on conservative media and appeared at various events with Mike Lindell, the MyPillow CEO and Trump ally who has sought to prove voting machines were somehow manipulated in 2020.

In an interview earlier this year, Peters said she was committed to finding the truth of what happened in 2020 and hoped “the powers that be — instead of taking time to attack me — would solve violent crime, would look into election irregularities and find the truth.”

Colorado Republicans will be deciding who their nominee will be in late June.

“Americans are going to have a very simple choice — do we want people overseeing elections who believe in upholding the will of the voter regardless of how they voted?” said Griswold. “Or do we want extremist politicians who will do anything it takes to tilt elections in their favor and claim victory regardless of how the American people cast their ballot?”

In a late Friday filing, attorneys for John Eastman, who helped formulate a Donald Trump White House plan to overturn the 2020 presidential election, said their client has agreed to hand over approximately 10,000 Trump-related documents and emails to the House select committee investigating the Jan 6th insurrection.

According to Politico's Kyle Cheney, the committee has been attempting to get their hands on the documents which are part of approximately 37,000 pages of emails, with Eastman previously claiming attorney-client privilege.

The report states that Eastman's change of mind follows a ruling by U.S. District Court Judge David Carter back in March.

According to Politico, "In Friday’s court filing, Eastman’s lawyers indicated that the select committee now wants more time to consider how to handle the remaining 27,000 pages of records that remain in dispute. Carter has asked Eastman to produce a log of all the emails that remain contested, but Eastman is now asking Carter for a brief reprieve while the select committee reviews the new documents and determines how to proceed."

The report notes that a lawsuit filed by Eastman -- in conjunction with text messages sent and received by former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows -- is allowing the committee to paint a portrait showing "...that Trump sat by on Jan. 6, 2021 as a mob of his supporters ransacked the Capitol, waiting hours and continuing to press allies to block Joe Biden’s victory even as he watched the violence unfold on TV."

Politico's Cheney added, "The committee is preparing to hold at least eight public hearings in June outlining its evidence and findings so far, but the panel continues to be deluged with new information, prolonging its effort to bring the probe to a conclusion. The influx of 10,000 pages from Eastman — and the prospect of tens of thousands more — could be fodder for additional lines of inquiry for the select committee."

LMAO.

The funniest part of this whole ruse is that this committee is powerless to do anything, regardless of what it finds.

What a shitty thing to do. But it comes as no surprise from the pack of fucking assholes currently in charge...

When Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently unveiled his “six pillar plan” for dealing with the crisis on our southern border, he certainly didn’t mention this truly awful idea. During his recent testimony before Congress, Mayorkas slipped in one option that Joe Biden is reportedly considering. In order to provide better care for the tens of thousands of illegal aliens streaming across the border, the White House is looking at the possibility of diverting funding from the Veterans Administration for that situation. Additionally, some of the doctors and nurses tasked with caring for our veterans could be reassigned to providing care for the illegals.

Is it because democrats have already lost ?

Well they have

Blogger is an American online content management system which enables multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. Pyra Labs developed it before being acquired by Google in 2003. Google hosts the blogs, which can be accessed through a subdomain of blogspot.com. Blogs can also be accessed from a user-owned custom domain (such as www.example.com) by using DNS facilities to direct a domain to Google's servers.[3][4][5] A user can have up to 100 blogs or websites per account
