Amid a rolling series of calamities, Biden’s feeling lately is that he just can’t catch a break. “Biden is frustrated. If it’s not one thing, it’s another,” said a person close to the president. An assumption baked into Biden’s candidacy was that he would preside over a smoothly running administration by dint of his decades of experience in public office. Yet there are signs of managerial breakdowns that have angered both him and his party.
If people "really" believed that Joe Biden's "experience" would allow him to preside over a smoothly run administration then they would not have hidden him away during the campaign. It was clear that they were trying to make Joe Biden appear as generic opponent as possible against Trump, hoping that people would just vote "against" Trump rather than for Biden.
The "one thing after another" sort of deal is because of Biden's total lack of leadership and the fact that everyone other than the most partisan Democrats understand he is incompetent. Those who truly believe that there is nothing to the idea that that the Taliban and Putin both waited till Trump was gone and Biden was in to take action... well there is no really arguing with that stupidity. Anyone who will not accept that our inflation and economic problems are largely the fault of policy are not being honest.
Biden has bad poll number because he is a bad President. That is reality.
