Cheney loses? Go figure!

Already called by the Decision Desk

99% in - Hageman 66.3 / Cheney 28.9 - How humiliating!

This was a pretty dang quick call. Only 9% in and they already feel comfortable calling the race for Hageman. I guess the idea that democrats would cross over and save Cheney ended up not panning out, huh?

I think the democrats who crossed over voted for Hageman too.

With 83% counted, Chaney down 36.2%. An absolute crushing defeat. It's comical seeing the news media all giving the spin that she fought the good fight and she's a presidential contender. Presidential candidates don't get their asses handed to them like this.

Hagerman supports The “great replacement” theory describes a supposed elite conspiracy to change the demographics of America, replacing and disempowering white people – and their influence – with people of color, immigrants and Muslims. In recent years the lie has gone from far-right fringe to Republican party mainstream.

It's no longer on the dark web.

It is the philosophy of the Republican Party of today.

The FBI is the Gestapo.

The replacement of each institution is the greatest danger in history.

Witch Hunt

After witnessing the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) different and unequal justice administered to President Trump, conservatives, and Republicans than to Democrats and liberals, I now understand why Blacks considered the justice system rigged against them; because it was.  The DOJ’s and FBI’s recent actions have opened my eyes.  American justice isn’t blind.  The system is rigged, no longer along racial (or religious) lines but along political ideology.  The DOJ has a two-tiered justice system – one system that targets and is onerously harsh on Republicans and conservatives while being lax and protective of Democrats and liberals.  This unequal justice has been in place for at least 10 years but has gotten much worse since President Trump’s arrival.

A recent survey (last week) by the Trafalgar Group found that 79% of Americans believe we have two tiers of justice – one system for politicians and D.C. insiders and another system for everyone else.  The belief in unequal justice holds true for Democrats (67%), Republicans (88%), and Independents (77%).  Unequal justice is not just in law enforcement, it’s everywhere – every major institution is aligned to empower, and keep in power, the Democrat regime.  The entire federal bureaucracy, media, academia, business, Big Tech, Big Pharma, and the military are fully aligned to keep Democrats in power.

There's an interesting lawsuit working its way through the courts. It's a suit opposing Biden open border policies. But it's legal basis is the Environmental Policies Act. It's a law passed in 1970 to protect the environment from population growth. It could actually work.

Mike Pence says he would think about testifying before the House select committee investigating the attack on the U.S. Capitol if he were invited to do so, according to reports. The former vice president—who came dangerously close to a mob chanting “Hang Mike Pence!” inside the Capitol on January 6, 2021—was headlining a Politics and Eggs event in New Hampshire Wednesday morning when he was asked about the possibility of speaking to the committee. “I would consider it,” if there was an invitation to testify,

Defeating Ms. Cheney became a priority for the former president after she emerged as one of the leading Republican critics of his efforts to overturn his 2020 loss and helped lead the House Jan. 6 committee. In her final TV ad in the race, she defended her position. “America cannot remain free if we abandon the truth. The lie that the 2020 presidential election was stolen is insidious,” she said.

Mr. Trump came to Casper, Wyo., to campaign for Ms. Hageman in May at a rally where he said Ms. Cheney was “ridiculous and stupid-thinking.”

“When it’s a broken marriage, at some point they both leave each other,” said Doug Heye, a former senior Republican House aide. “The reality is, Cheney has remained faithful to who she’s been, and the party has changed.”

Even better news about Mike Pence 👏
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday urged fellow Republicans to stop lashing out at the FBI over the search of former President Donald Trump’s Florida home last week.

Speaking in New Hampshire, Pence was asked what went through his mind when he heard about the FBI search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home as part of a federal investigation into Trump took classified records from the White House.

Pence, who like Trump is considering a 2024 presidential bid, said he has been troubled by what he called the politicization of the FBI. He also said the Justice Department and Attorney General Merrick Garland should be more transparent about what led authorities to conduct the search.

But Trump’s former vice president also had a message for the GOP.

“I also want to remind my fellow Republicans, we can hold the attorney general accountable for the decision he made without attacking the rank-and-file law enforcement personnel at the FBI,” he said at the Politics & Eggs event at St. Anselm College.

Ch, why is it that Trump is finding it so incredibly difficult to find good criminal lawyers willing to represent him?
Surely he can pay them well!

According to one prominent Republican lawyer, “Everyone is saying no.”

Well Reverend...

Since this is your made up story... why don't you just save us all the trouble and just tell us what your anonymous sourced story provides as the reason?

Wouldn't that make more sense that asking a stupid question that most certainly I have no interest in addressing nor do I have any interest in what the "reason" would be if the story is true.

Isn't it because lawyers realize they could get themselves in legal jeopardy trying to defend what cannot be defendd?

Remember when Rudy Giuliani refused to say in curt what he was saying out of court?

Doesn't that explain it?

Well everyone - even a know serial killer is entitled to a defense. If they cannot find an attorney the court provides a public defender. A lawyer cannot get into trouble for defending someone.

Most 6th graders know that.

But at the end of the day... you are on point.

With the DOJ and FBI going after every Trump attorney, not respecting any Attorney Client privilege, and even demanding that attorney client advice be treated as criminal... then I can see why some people would be hesitant to get involved.

But that is an indictment of the sledgehammer DOJ FBI approach in our two tiered system of justice. They have no respect for the law anymore and their intimidation factor works on the weak.
