Just a simple question for Lil Scotty......does trump claim he declassified top secret documents change the content of the file or just enables more to see the secret information that could do great harm to the country??? Just asking!!!!

It's interesting how many of today's Sunday funnies really have very little to do with anything at all.

The former President is out of his mind. He's irrational.

Trump launched a late-night attack on the FBI after latest damaging Mar-a-Lago revelations

Tom Boggioni

August 14, 2022

Hours after the New York Times released a report that Department of Justice rushed the search at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort after seeing a surveillance video showing the boxes of stolen government documents were being moved, the former president lashed out at the FBI in a post-midnight attack

The Times report stated, "The Justice Department also subpoenaed surveillance footage from Mar-a-Lago recorded over a 60-day period, including views from outside the storage room. According to a person briefed on the matter, the footage showed that, after one instance in which Justice Department officials were in contact with Mr. Trump’s team, boxes were moved in and out of the room."

Taking to his Truth Social account, Trump aimed multiple accusations at the FBI including "was there a 'plant?'"

He first stated, "The FBI gas (sic) a long and unrelenting history of being corrupt. Just look back to the days of J. Edgar Hoover. In the modern era, nothing has changed except that it has gotten far worse. Look at Comey, McCabe, Strzok and lover Lisa Page. Check out the brilliantly written but damning I.G. Reports. See what they were willing to do in order to get Crooked Hillary Clinton elected (they failed), and got caught!," before adding, "They spied on my campaign, pushed the FAKE Dossier, and illegally used the FISA Court."

"The Inspector General said the FBI acted with 'gross incompetence and negligence.' I was fully vindicated in the Russia, Russia, Russia SCAM, the 'No Collusion' Mueller Investigation, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and all else," he continued. "NOW THEY RAID MY HOME, ban my lawyers and, without any witnesses allowed, break the lock that they asked us to install on the storage area that we showed them early on, which held papers that they could have had months ago for the asking, and without the ridiculous political grandstanding of a “break in” to a very storied, important, and high visibility place, just before the Midterm Elections."

He concluded, "The whole World was watching as the FBI rummaged through the house, including the former First Lady’s closets (and clothing!), alone and unchecked. They even demanded that the security cameras be turned off (we refused), but there was no way of knowing if what they took was legitimate, or was there a “plant?” This was, after all, the FBI!"

Compromise we'll never see...

Republicans agree to better background checks for guns id democrats agree to better background checks for voters

Republicans agree to better background checks for police if democrats agree to better background checks for illegal immigrants

So Roger...

Just so we all understand what is going on here...

Trump took everything from his office including personal belongings such as pictures and such, likely personal documents, along with some of the Presidential documents that were in dispute. Everyone understood that these documents were moved from the White House to a personal storage locker in Mar-a-Lago.

The FBI had already gone through the boxes in a storage locker in the Trump Residence. They took what they stated they needed. They did so under subpoena and Trump cooperated.

and somehow people want us all to believe that it was some sort of criminal action for someone to actually go into a private storage locker in a private residence? That if Trump wanted to go retrieve some of his personal belongings (such as pictures and such gather) - that it is "criminal" for him to be going into a storage area IN HIS OWN HOME?

Moreover, it has been weeks since they had first went through the documents.

While if one is paranoid enough, they might believe that any attempt to go in that room could be nefarious... but it also could be justified. They can ask him to put on a different lock, but they cannot prevent him from personal property in his residence (which by all accounts still existed in that storage locker proven by the fact that much of what was in that locker is still there after the second raid).

Now this is like the third "leak" in terms of the justification of the Warrant. We had a Trump associate turning him in, we had a Secret Service agent who saw something and was duty bound to report it, and now we have the speculation that it was the surveillance footage.

Either way... whether or not someone might say it justifies the warrant, there is no crime associated with someone moving a box in someone's private property.

We don't have enough information to make this assumption. If the witnesses saw something wrong or illegal??

Today the same media worships Bush and faithfully carries his every word when he is critical of Trump.

John McCain was an absolute media darling during the Trump Presidency.  However, during his presidential campaign, McCain was branded, you guessed right, a bigot. They frequently highlighted his age and the fact that he was a cancer survivor. McCain’s adopted daughter from Bangladesh was the target of a sinister whisper campaign that he had fathered a black child out of wedlock. McCain's running mate Sarah Palin was also attacked. McCain lost and once again became a media darling.

The same happened with Mitt Romney. The Democrats made baseless allegations of bullying and homophobia during his school days. They called him a sexist by twisting an innocuous remark. The attempted to claim he was a heartless money-minded capitalist. Romney, like McCain, lost to Obama.

For allowing his funeral ceremony to become an anti-Trump forum, McCain is now regarded as a legend. George H W Bush was also treated like a hero following his death. Tributes to McCain and Bush were always concluded with a vicious attack on Trump.

There are only two kinds of Republicans the Democrats love, those who are defeated or dead… or preferably both.

So, what happens if DeSantis or Pompeo or Cruz or Paul or (most unlikely) their favorite useful idiot Liz Cheney gets the nomination?

Will the unfair attacks stop?

Emphatically not. The Democrats have with every passing presential race breached all standards of decorum. Bush, McCain, and Romney were destroyed.

The difference between Trump and his GOP predecessor is that he punched back often much harder than he received. This was the first time Republicans saw their candidate fight back, which caused the already strong bond to become unbreakable.

The war that the Democrats are waging is not against Trump, it is actually against the idea that someone dares to challenge them.
