Mike Lindell (the my pillow guy) was picked up by the Feds after purchasing a Mushroom and Swiss Burger at the Hardee's drive thru in Mankato, Minnesota
Mankato is my home town and Hardee's was a staple growing up. We had one probably a mile from my house (or within walking distance when we were kids). It was right next door to an old fashioned Dairy Queen that back in the day only served ice cream. Often, my parents would go out on a Friday night and leave my brother and I with a few bucks to wander down to Hardees and buy our dinner.
Obviously this is a new building and in a different location, but still brings back some memories.

They have taken about 12 different phones from 12 different people over the past couple of months, including several members of Congress. There have been no real good reasons given, the warrants have been vague, and nobody has heard anything in terms of charges or even target letters. If these people are criminals, the FBI is not making them aware of the crimes they supposedly committed.
Not sure who is signing off on these warrants, but this is getting out of control.

On a lighter note I guess Dairy Queen’s were different up north? All of them served flame broiled burgers, hotdogs etc., here but went by DQ Braziers.
They were my fave fast food until “God’s Chicken” got popular, even after the Indians began buying them in the 80’s and the scent of curry hit you as you walked in the door, the burgers were still better than BK or McD’s. Still no In and Out’s here so it’s 5 guys

The DQs in Minnesota all served food when I left.
This was back in the 1970s and it was just a small little place. No kitchen or grill. Just the DQ makers, toppings, and a freezer for the dilly bars and such. We had another one up on the hill that served food. So it was a rarity, but we had a few that were not 'brazier".

Yep, that's what we had about 20 miles south of my hometown. One of the banks we used for our farm was located there so it was always a treat if I could convince mom or dad to stop there on the way home.
