The odd thing about this poll is that it suggests that Republican Governors are transporting thousands... when that is nonsense. More to the point the vast majority of those being transported (probably 95% plus) are being transported by the Dept of Homeland Security.

The poll is worded in a way that it conceals the true nature of what happened. I wonder what the results would be if the poll asked whether it's acceptable to lie and trick people into moving to another state with false promises of housing and jobs.

They all signed a waiver. The waiver did not suggest that the lawsuit said it did. It said they were going to Massachusetts (not Boston). There was nothing about jobs or aid or anything else. They signed the same waiver that every migrante signs when they are transported anywhere.
Which is why DeSantis is continuing to transport people.
And will continue to transport people.

As Turley reasonably explained. This lawsuit is not even designed to see a courtroom.
The complaint is stronger on rhetoric than supporting facts or law. It will face a motion to dismiss and that the litigants may be able to offer more evidence of a fraud or misrepresentations to negate their signed waivers. However, this is unlikely to result in a serious threat to these ongoing flights by various states. This is a civil action that, even if it can survive threshold challenges, will be in the court system for a long time in seeking to establish these claims. Many of these claims are likely to be dismissed or abandoned in the course of that litigation.
If the Massachusetts own office for Refugees and Immigrants is supposedly the smoking gun form of misdirection... well that should tell you something!
