A report issued last year by the watchdog group Open The Books, “The Militarization of The U.S. Executive Agencies,” found that more than 200,000 federal bureaucrats now have been granted the authority to carry guns and make arrests – more than the 186,000 Americans serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
You want to know what fascism looks like? It's not questioning election results or filing lawsuits or passing new laws. It is using the FBI to demand a President is a Russian spy, using the FBI and other agencies to hassle political opponents. It is using the FBI to shut down free speech and punish Americans who criticize the President or disagree with his policies. Or coordinating with social media to dampen stories about a candidate's son?
This is what fascism looks like. It is not a liberal thing or a conservative thing. It is not left or right. It is a series of actions where politicians start to use the power of the Government to bully their constituents into submission and to stifle any resistance.
