Special counsel for thee, but not for me...

Biden Administration announces a second special counsel for Donald Trump...

But nothing for Hunter Biden?

Apparently the case is not so cut and dried that Garland feels he can make any call himself. Or perhaps he knows that he has no real case at this point, but wants to drag it out longer. Either way, the experts who demanded that the Trump indictment was a done deal no-brainer apparently will have to wait for a while.

Of course, the time for a "special counsel" on this would have been months ago... not immediately following the midterm elections. That reeks of politics and of someone looking to drag this out. After all, we are still investigating something that happened right before and right after Trump left office. The archives dispute has been going on since 2021 and Jan 6th is now over 22 months in the past.

When you add the Russian collusion investigations to the Jan 6th investigations to the Presidential archives investigations you are now pushing close to five years of investigations without a single indictment. Now you want to add another special counsel to the mix?

Wow... just wow!
