What if?

So I have stated (and maintained) that at least some of the allegations against Judge Roy Moore are certainly more believable than not. That being said, now that we have seen some of the "piling on" from other women, it is starting to appear that not everything is on the up and up.
  • First the women who hired Gloria Allred has been under scrutiny over her suggestion that Judge Moore signed her yearbook. There now appears to be at least some real cause to doubt the legitimacy of the signature (as explained here). Given the reluctance of both the accuser and her attorney to turn over the yearbook for professional verification, Occam's razor is starting to logically point to a forgery. Added to this, is that her own step son is maintaining that she is lying for attention (and has a history of doing as much).
  • Next we had the woman who insisted that she had Roy Moore banned from the mall. This is now being disputed by the former Mall Manager who states that he saw no record of Moore ever being banned (and that Roy Moore was well known at the time so it would not have been something that flew under the radar).
  • Add to this, that the original woman (the most believable of the bunch) has had certain "details" of her story disputed by her mother. While the mother and father both support the story overall, the small details can cause some overall credibility problems. (In a criminal or civil trial, such small lapses in the truth can allow for a  jury to discount the entire testimony)
  • Lastly, if you actually take the other three "allegations" against Judge Moore, it includes three women who claim that he pursued them when they were between the ages of seventeen and twenty two. None of them are suggesting he did anything other than show interest or ask them out. While this may seem unusual, it was not at the time (and still not today) actually against the law.
So what if we literally gave Roy Moore the same benefit of the doubt that he would get if this was a criminal trial. First, the allegations are all nearly four decades old. Well past any statute of limitations (which exists for many real reasons). Second, there is literally no non-anecdotal evidence that can be verified. In fact, the only non-anecdotal evidence (the yearbook and the mall ban) at this point have not been verified. In one case, because the witness (and her attorney) refuse to turn over the potential evidence to be verified. In the other, there is actually anecdotal evidence (the former mall manager providing a statement) against the allegation.

What if this actually "is" what Judge Moore and his supporters allege it to be? What if it is a coordinated hit job from the Washington Post and others, who are looking to tear down a Senate candidates with allegations that cannot be adequately rebutted within the time period provided?

Would it really matter to those who are against Judge Moore's candidacy? Would the ends (winning a Senate seat) justify the means (dragging everyone through four decades old sexual allegations that were more hype than truth)?  Would we (as a country) want to see sexual allegations "weaponized" in this sort of manner?

Republican Sen. Jeff Flake (Ariz.) was caught on a hot mic Saturday warning saying that the Republican Party will be "toast" if it becomes the party of President Trump and Roy Moore.

At a tax-reform event in Arizona on Saturday, Flake was caught on a live microphone by ABC affiliate KNXV bashing the president in a conversation with Mesa Mayor John Giles, a friend of Flake's.

"If we become the party of Roy Moore and Donald Trump, we are toast," Flake is overheard saying.

Most of the women who say they were sexually assaulted by Moore, have described the events with similar actions by Moore. And don't forget the people who worked at the mall descriptions of his obsession with young children.

Then you conclude with: Would we (as a country) want to see sexual allegations "weaponized" in this sort of manner? again you are assuming that the Wall Street Journal actually made the whole damn thing up.

Again and yes I'm serious, if you really believe that, you are out of your mind.

“Just ask the very people who wrote it. The U.S. Congress Joint Committee on Taxation is run by the chairs of the House Ways and Means Committee and the Senate Finance Committee—Representative Kevin Brady and Senator Orrin Hatch, respectively.

"The Joint Committee’s reports of this week make startling reading, or as startling as a series of spreadsheets of tax revenue data can be.

"The report shows that this bill is much like a teaser rate on a new credit card: there are some goodies in the first couple of years, but those disappear fairly quickly, at least for those below the median income.

“The report shows that the rich benefit and the poor are hurt in EVERY way that it measures.”

That after all this time, you still believe that a settled sexual harassment civil suit, multiple allegations of sexual assault (including rape), admitted improper relationship with employees... and 11 counts of criminal acts referenced by a special prosecutor... who recommended impeachment (and said he would have indicted him if he wasn't President)

That you still believe that Bill Clinton was unfairly attacked as part of a "right wing conspiracy"... and there were no grounds for any action against him.

But when it comes to a Republican (such as Roy Moore) that you simply believe everything you are told (without any critical analysis what so ever)... and anyone who questions the questionable is the one who is not being impartial.

Top general says he'd push back against 'illegal' nuclear strike order
By Daniella Diaz, CNN
Updated 2 hours ago Nov 18, 2017
Washington (CNN) - The top US nuclear commander said Saturday he would push back against an order from President Donald Trump for a nuclear strike if it were "illegal."
Speaking at the Halifax International Security Forum in Nova Scotia, Canada, Gen. John Hyten, who is the commander of US Strategic Command, shared what would happen if he were ordered to launch a nuclear strike.
"I provide advice to the President," Hyten said. "He'll tell me what to do, and if it's illegal, guess what's going to happen? I'm gonna say, 'Mr. President, that's illegal.' Guess what he's going to do? He's going to say, 'What would be legal?' And we'll come up with options of a mix of capabilities to respond to whatever the situation is, and that's the way it works. It's not that complicated."
US Strategic Command oversees US nuclear weapons and missile defense.
Hyten's remarks come after a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing this week on the President's authority to launch nuclear weapons -- the first such congressional hearing in more than 40 years.
While the President retains that authority, Hyten publicly emphasized that the US military always has the obligation to follow only legal orders, including those entailing the launch of nuclear weapons.
Testimony at Senate hearing
At the Senate hearing this week, experts testified that the use of nuclear weapons must be proportional to a threat, and the Pentagon has extensive options for use of conventional weapons against North Korea.
Retired Air Force Gen. Robert Kehler, who previously served as the commander of US Strategic Command under President Barack Obama, explained at the hearing that there are layers of safeguards within the current system designed to ensure any order is both legal and proportionally appropriate.
"US nuclear forces operate under strict civilian control. Only the President of the United States can order the employment of US nuclear weapons," Kehler said.
"This is a system controlled by human beings ... nothing happens automatically," he said, adding that the US military does not blindly follow orders and a presidential order to employ nuclear weapons must be legal.
While the President retains constitutional authority to order some military action, Kehler explained that the nuclear decision process "includes assessment, review and consultation between the President and key civilian and military leaders, followed by transmission and implementation of any Presidential decision by the forces themselves."
"If there is an illegal order presented to the military, the military is obligated to refuse to follow it," he said.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

In the event that Trump decided to launch a nuclear attack, Hyten would provide him with strike options that are legal.

The command would control nuclear forces in a war.

The comments come as the threat of nuclear attack from North Korea remains a serious concern and Trump's critics question his temperament. Trump's taunting tweets aimed at Pyongyang have sparked concerns primarily among congressional Democrats that he may be inciting a war with North Korea.

During testimony before the Foreign Relations Committee earlier this month, retired Gen. Robert Kehler who served as the head of Strategic Command from January 2011 to November 2013, also said the U.S. armed forces are obligated to follow legal orders, not illegal ones.

Hyten said he's talked it over with Trump.

"I think some people think we're stupid. We're not stupid people. We think about these things a lot. When you have this responsibility how do you not think about it?" he said.

He said he would not obey an illegal order.

"You could go to jail for the rest of your life," he said.

The Washington Post has posted a newly compiled timeline of Trump campaign officials' known contacts with Russians throughout the 2016 election season:

Despite denials from the campaign and the White House, it is now clear that members of the Trump campaign interacted with Russians at least 31 times throughout the campaign. (There are at least 19 known meetings.) Knowledge of these communications went to the highest levels of Donald Trump’s operation — both Corey Lewandowski and Paul Manafort, two of the campaign’s three managers, were aware of it.

Since the information about members of the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russians has come out in dribs and drabs, as a public service, we compiled a comprehensive timeline of what we now know from media reports and court documents detailing which members of the campaign met with Russians during the campaign as well as internal discussions about those meetings. We will update this timeline as necessary.

On The Difference Between The Military Refusing And “Resisting” A Nuke Order

Just as an aside, I can tell you from personal experience that there were plenty of us in the military, from the top to the bottom, who didn’t much care for Jimmy Carter as Commander in Chief. But you know what? We followed every one of his damned orders to the letter. And our military today will follow the orders of Donald Trump. Take it to the bank.

In the end, as I said at the top, this was a hypothetical conversation which probably never should have been taken up on the public stage. And it’s almost entirely being used as a tool to paint the President in a bad light rather than any serious discussion of foreign policy or military procedures.

The cynical strategy of trying to delegitimize the president of the United States continues.

Which is providing aid and comfort to the enemy (Russia). One of the definitions for treason in the Constitution.

The Daily Beast reported that Nakoula was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in 1997 after being pulled over and found to be in possession of ephedrine, hydroiodic acid and $45,000 in cash.[6] Nakoula was charged with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.[20] He pleaded guilty and was sentenced in 1997 to one year in Los Angeles County Jail and three years probation. Given the reluctance of both the accuser and her attorney to turn over the yearbook for professional verification, Occam's razor ...

Occam's razor suggests that a third party - a forgery - is less likely than the simple explanation that Moore signed the yearbook. Regarding whether the girl forged it herself or Moore signed it, Occam's Razor is not helpful.

However, if Moore subsequently sought a social involvement with this girl - and reports say that he did - it is reasonably consistent that he'd earlier signed her yearbook.

wphamilton said...

What if this actually "is" what Judge Moore and his supporters allege it to be? What if it is a coordinated hit job from the Washington Post and others, who are looking to tear down a Senate candidates with allegations that cannot be adequately rebutted within the time period provided?

Yes it's a classic dirty trick to publish accusations at the last minute, whether or not the allegations are true. I would go so far as to say that it's a disservice to voters, who are placed in the position where they must judge his behavior without the benefit of his full defense.

Having empathy for his victims, if such they are, I don't blame them. I'd want to do the same, hit him when it results in the most damage. If you have to blame someone, blame whoever is driving it. And blame Moore, whose habitual behavior has given credence to these allegations.

Commonsense said...

Occam's razor suggests that a third party - a forgery - is less likely than the simple explanation that Moore signed the yearbook.

In fact one should be eager to have it verified.

What makes this a likely forgery is that (from what I understand) the "DA" after his signature. He wasn't DA at that time and while his assistant had those initials she wouldn't be signing the yearbook for him. It was on her divorce papers from much later which would suggest someone used that to transfer the "signature" to the yearbook.

If the glove don't fit, you must acquit and if this is a forgery you must throw her out entirely, and that pretty much destroys the whole case against him.

Lucky for Moore is that he has time to react to this charge and boomerang this on the media and entrenched politicians.

wphamilton said...

What incentive does the girl have, to hand her yearbook to Moore, or anyone else, to have it "certified"? It already serves its purpose, and the girl isn't under suspicion of anything. It would not convince Moore's apologists. There is nothing to gain for her to do that.

He was probably trying to impress the girl with adding the "D.A.", and maybe he thought it was funny that his assistant signed court papers that way. A more curious question is why would a forger do that, in a yearbook? It's most likely exactly what it appears to be.

cowardly king obama said...

Why would an assistant many years later initial Moore's "signature", when she was providing it, exactly like it had appeared supposedly many years previous in a yearbook? And in the exact same style and spacing from documents like the divorce decree?

This is the only physical evidence that has come forward that I know of in these charges. Two of the other accusers have family members casting doubt on their relatives charges and one other is an extreme Democratic partisan.

I think this is a forgery and I think many people in Alabama who vote will come to the same conclusion. Testing it is the only way I think this will be completely resolved, and if it is legit I think she should get this done in a transparent manner.

cowardly king obama said...

In fairness, going back to look at the initials, the style is not the same between the yearbook and the divorce decree. But I still have my doubts about the legitimacy of a very important document...

wphamilton said...

As I understand it Moore was an Assistant DA at the time, and he had an assistant with the initials "DA" who would sign for him, and add her initials "DA" to signify that she had done so.

It begs the question, does the assistant's signature look like Moore's did, and does the yearbook signature look more like one or the other? But it's an academic question, because the yearbook serves ONLY to support a massive amount of testimonials that Moore pursued these girls at that time. It doesn't "prove" anything either way, and there is nothing "legal" about it either way.

There is no criminal trial, and no civil lawsuit, so the idea that "evidence" must be examined to see if it's "legal" is an extreme stretch on your part. It's grasping for straws, but the damage is already done and most of it done by Moore himself decades ago. Voters are going to decide if it's important to them. Many of Moore's hard-core supporters are already on public record that they don't care either way. The rest of the voters in Alabama, we'll see.

Myballs said...

I just don't think the yearbook is so easily dismissed. The signature and subsequent events make it very likely that the only physical evidence was deliberately falsified.

Combined with the perception of Alabama voters that Washington is trying to hijack their state vote, many voters will pull for Moore just for spite.

That's partly how Trump was elected.

(The other part was Clinton's corruption and arrogance).

Commonsense said...

She offered it as evidence that what she said was true. I would think she would want to see a third party to verify it if it is legitimate.

On the other hand, if it was a forgery than she has every reason to keep it from being verified.

I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt until she started balking when asked to get the signature verified.

Moore must believed it's a fake or he wouldn't have challenged it's authenticity.

No, it was signed by an autopen or stamp and she's just put her initials by the signature to indicate that fact.

Why should she care about Moore having a chance (legitimate or otherwise) to clear his name? I didn't say whether Moore has an incentive - obviously he's going to have an incentive to dispute every allegation. He's desperate to disparage every accusation in fact. All the less incentive to give him any pretext to do so.

Fox News defends Sean Hannity amid calls for ad boycott
CNN Jackie Wattles--2 hrs ago
Fox News is standing by host Sean Hannity amid an advertiser boycott campaign.

The network on Sunday denounced a petition that is calling on advertisers to ditch Hannity's show as an "intimidation effort" that is "nothing more than political opportunism based on deceit."

The petition was created by Media Matters for America, a liberal press watchdog group. Media Matters argues that Hannity's show is essentially "a Trump propaganda operation."

Sunday's statement was the first time that Fox News has commented on the boycott effort.

"Sean Hannity hosts the number one program in cable news because millions of Americans make the decision to join him every night and the audience relationship is stronger than ever," said a Fox News spokesperson. When asked specifically about advertisers, however, the network would not comment.

A smattering of companies have publicly said that they're avoiding Hannity's show. But so far there hasn't been a repeat of the advertiser exodus that was seen last April when companies abandoned Bill O'Reilly's show en masse.

Media Matters has long railed against Fox News and Hannity in particular. But the feud between the two has grown increasingly tense in recent weeks.

The organization first called for a boycott in August, and it upped the pressure after Hannity stood by Alabama senatorial candidate Roy Moore.

Moore has been accused of sexually assaulting or harassing underage women. He has called the allegations "completely false."

Moore last week penned an open letter to Hannity after the host called on him to explain inconsistencies in how he addressed the allegations. Hannity read the entire letter on his show and said that the election should be decided by Alabama voters.

ibid. said...

Meanwhile, Media Matters president Angelo Carusone has continued his campaign. Hannity in response has blasted the media watchdog on his show. Those attacks culminated early Sunday in a Twitter tirade against Carusone and CNN's Brian Stelter, who hosted Carusone as a guest on "Reliable Sources."

Hannity sent five identical tweets that all linked to a website that claimed to "expose" Carusone as a "racist" and "anti-gay" person who shames victims of sexual abuse.

"RACIST, BIGOT, AND ANTI-SEMITE PRES. OF @MMFA @GOANGELO WHY DO YOU VICTIM SHAME? WHY DON'T YOU SUPPORT WOMEN OF ABUSE? @CNN @BRIANSTELTER WHY DO YOU SUPPORT THIS?" the tweets read.

Hannity sent the tweets two hours before Carusone appeared on "Reliable." On the program, Carusone called the claims "hurtful" because he is gay and his husband is Jewish, adding that it was a "ridiculous jab" to go after him "in the most personal way."

Carusone told Stelter that Media Matters has heard from dozens of companies after it began calling for a boycott.
"We have statements from 30 companies that have committed that they're not going to advertise on Sean Hannity's program." Carusone said "all of those companies were actually advertising to begin with."

CNN could not independently confirm this claim.

"And then there are many more companies that never started in the first place, because they say this is too volatile, there's too much potential controversy associated with it," Carusone said.

Carusone said he is generally opposed to ad boycott efforts, even though he is currently leading one.

He explained his reasons for going after advertisers, asserting that Fox News does not hold Hannity accountable for the "kinds of destructive and reckless things" he does.
"When you're faced with an entity that doesn't have any accountability, you have two choices -- do nothing and continue to endure the destructive consequences of it or appeal to a higher power. In this case, it's the advertisers," he said.

Carusone said he's in it for the "long game" and he hopes "a critical mass of advertisers" will leave, and the show "no longer becomes commercially sustainable or viable."
--CNN's Brian Stelter contributed to this report.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team investigating whether President Donald Trump sought to obstruct a federal inquiry into connections between his presidential campaign and Russian operatives has now directed the Justice Department to turn over a broad array of documents, ABC News has learned.

Interested in Russia Investigation?

In particular, Mueller's investigators are keen to obtain emails related to the firing of FBI Director James Comey and the earlier decision of Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from the entire matter, according to a source who has not seen the specific request but was told about it.

Issued within the past month, the directive marks the special counsel's first records request to the Justice Department, and it means Mueller is now demanding documents from the department overseeing his investigation.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein played key roles in Comey's removal. And Sessions has since faced withering criticism from Trump over his recusal and Rosenstein's subsequent appointment of Mueller.

Mueller's investigators now seek not only communications between Justice Department officials themselves, but also any communications with White House counterparts, the source said. Before this request, investigators asked former senior Justice Department officials for information from their time at the department, ABC News was told.

The latest move suggests the Special Counsel is still actively digging into, among other matters, whether Trump or any other administration official improperly tried to influence an ongoing investigation.

Sessions jokes of Russian ambassador from site of scrutinized 2016 speech
5 key moments from Jeff Sessions' testimony before House Judiciary Committee
Last month, Sessions told lawmakers he would cooperate with any requests from Mueller and is willing to meet with him.

"I want him to complete his investigation professionally," Sessions told the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Trump, however, has openly expressed disdain for the federal probe, and since his days on the campaign trail he has questioned the U.S. intelligence community's unanimous conclusion that Russia tried to meddle in last year's presidential election.

Shortly before firing Comey, Trump secretly drafted a memo laying out his reasons for wanting the FBI chief ousted. The New York Times described it as an "angry, meandering" missive.

The draft memo was never publicly released, but a copy was shared with Rosenstein, who had taken command of the Russia-related probe, according to the Times.

To publicly bolster Trump's decision on Comey, the White House released two memos written separately by Sessions and Rosenstein, with both faulting Comey for his handling of the FBI's probe into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server.

During a House hearing in June, Rosenstein refused to say whether he consulted with the White House ahead of Comey's firing or whether anyone asked him to write his memo, insisting such questions "may well be within the scope of the special counsel's investigation."

Rosenstein still maintains final supervision over the case, even though he was interviewed by Mueller's team as a witness for his own role in Comey's firing.

FBI and Justice Department officials have told congressional investigators in recent days that they have not been able to verify or corroborate the substantive allegations of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign outlined in the Trump dossier.

The FBI received the first installment of the dossier in July 2016. It received later installments as they were written at the height of the presidential campaign, which means the bureau has had more than a year to investigate the allegations in the document. The dossier was financed by the Hillary Clinton campaign and compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele.

EXCLUSIVE: Bill Clinton Still Silent About Flights On Pedophile’s Sex Plane

Former President Bill Clinton continues to remain silent about the 26 flights he took aboard convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet, dubbed the “Lolita Express,” which reportedly offered underage girls to passengers to rape.

Fox News wrote in 2016 that the Lolita Express, a Boeing 727 jet, was “reportedly outfitted with a bed where passengers had group sex with young girls.”

Clinton flew on some trips where the flight logs showed only the first names of female passengers.

The Daily Caller News Foundation contacted the Clinton Presidential Library last week to obtain information about the former president’s relationship with billionaire Epstein, who in 2008 was convicted of soliciting sex from underage girls as young as 14.

At the time of the request, the Clinton Presidential Library was preparing to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Clinton’s 1992 presidential win. It was attended by a small army of Clinton loyalists.

TheDCNF contacted the media office for Bill Clinton, but it refused to respond to a variety of questions about Clinton, his trips and his friendship with Epstein.

Between 2001 to 2003, Clinton and Epstein traveled together on extended trips around the world, according to flight records released in 2015 by Gawker.

Accompanying Clinton aboard the private jet was Doug Band, his “body man” and president of Teneo Holdings, a company that arranged speaking engagements and lucrative business deals for the former president.

On one trip Clinton also traveled with actor Kevin Spacey, who is now accused of have sex with an underage boy.

Clinton traveled aboard the “Lolita Express” with a soft core porn actress and traveled on 11 flights with Epstein’s assistant Sarah Kellen, who allegedly procured underage girls for men, according to Gawker.

Gawker reported Kellam was “accused in court filings of acting as pimps for him (Epstein), recruiting and grooming young girls into their network of child sex workers, and frequently participating in sex acts with them.” (continues)

What happened twenty-five years ago on Bill Clinton doesn't matter.

But it's going to be a long cold winter in the White House.

"Witnesses questioned by Mueller's team warn that investigators are asking about ... foreign contacts and meetings that have not yet become public, and to expect a series of new revelations," the WashPost's Ashley Parker and Carol Leonnig write atop column 1.

What we're hearing: I'm told that Mueller's team is rooting around inside Trump world more deeply than is publicly known. Outside West Wing advisers tell me that may create a showdown.

More from WaPo:

"One Republican operative ... described Mueller's team 'working through the staff like Pac-Man.'"
"[A]t least nine people in Trump's orbit had contact with Russians during the campaign or the transition."
White House lawyer Ty Cobb: "I've done my best ... to share my view that the perception of the inquiry — that it involved a decade or more of financial transactions and other alleged issues that were mistakenly reported — just wasn't true, and that the issues were narrower."
"Cobb added that those who have already been interviewed by Mueller's team have left feeling buoyed. ... [N]obody I know of was shaken or scared."
"The president ... has warmed to Cobb's optimistic message ... Cobb had initially said he hoped the focus on the White House would conclude by Thanksgiving, but adjusted the timeline slightly in an interview, ... saying he remains optimistic that it will wrap up by the end of the year, if not shortly thereafter. "
A White House official tells me: "The only people focused on or consumed by this are the press. The White House staff are working to carry out the President's agenda on behalf of the American people."

Three of Alabama’s largest newspapers owned by the same company on Sunday urged voters to “stand for decency” and “reject” Alabama Republican Roy Moore in the state’s Dec. 12 Senate special election.

Moore, a former state supreme court justice, has been accused of sexual misconduct *by multiple women. One of the women said Moore initiated sexual contact with her when he was a 32-year-old in a local district attorney’s office and she was just 14 years old.

The editorial appeared on the front pages of The Birmingham News, Mobile Press-Register and The Huntsville Times, which are owned by the Alabama Media Group. The editorial is also featured at the top of the papers’ website, AL.com.

He believes that every right enumerated in the Bill of Rights is limited, and the Second Amendment is no exception.

According to the Alabama Political Reporter, Jones described himself as “a Second Amendment guy,” but stressed that some gun control is necessary. He said, “We’ve got limitations on all constitutional amendments in one form or another.” This position is contrary to the clear language of the amendment, which states that the right to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed.”

He stressed that he loves to hunt but still believes in “smart” gun laws.

“But what is heading toward him is not the kind of reform that can command broad political support, and thus stand the test of possible electoral defeat in 2018 and 2020. It’s a scandalous expression of upper-class and Sunbelt chauvinism that will melt away within weeks of the next Democratic electoral success. Her credibility has taken no beating, other than the predictable attacks. She already knew that would happen, and was warned about them by whoever is driving this. Handing over her yearbook will do nothing to hinder those attacks, and would likely facilitate them. You don't react defensively to factually unfounded attacks on credibility, because it only gives those sorts more fuel. Her attackers will disregard or deny anything favorable to her. Or outright lie about it. Look at internet forums for example. Look at this blog. You know that it's true.

What if she hands it over, diverse experts examine it, and they unanimously agree yes, that's his signature all right. What do you think happens then? She'll be reading this: Moore signed her yearbook, yep, no law against that, and she's still a liar because it's not evidence that he did anything but innocently sign a girl's yearbook. Everyone who thinks she's a liar now, will still think she's a liar because that's what they want to believe. She gains literally nothing, and that's best case. Meanwhile, those seeking to attack her credibility will spin off on everything about that yearbook, project her as an infatuated girl overcome with romantic fantasies, and wherever else their demented minds take them.

Zero gain for her, no incentive, you can logically draw no further conclusion from her reluctance to cooperate with her attackers.

The only reason, favorable to her, for her to cooperate by handing over her own property or documents is if she is in litigation, or there is a criminal case. And even then, only because our laws compel it.

I, Cowardly King Obama alias James' F'ing Daddy, am a coward.

I put James's name and location here but do not charge him using my own real name and location. I accuse him of being a child abuser, but if I really believed that, I would be morally and even legally obligated to take legal action against James using my own name in order to protect the children.

I do not do that, because
1) I do not believe it myself
and
2) I am a coward, for I know that such a charge would get nowhere and would even get me in trouble

I know James undergoes the frequent background checks required of all pastors of his denomination and he has always come up "clean."

I know the number of accusers
against him is exactly me ZERO.

But I enjoy howling at the moon.

WP...

If I made accusations... was unwilling to allow my evidence to be verified. Had a high profile attorney making poor excuses for me. Meanwhile, my own step-son is telling the world I am probably lying, because that's just who I am...

I would probably feel a little like my credibility is taking it up the ass.

But then again... I am by nature a cynic. I would have thought it out a little better.

Actually she gains everything.

Will it matter for the hard core Moore supporters. Nope.
But that really doesn't matter, does it?

I would never have voted for Moore over strange if I lived in Alabama. Once he was the nominee, I would have probably just stayed home. Once the original allegation of the fourteen year old came out... I would have probably at that point gone out and voted against him.

Since then... the original allegation (which is still the most believable) has been overshadowed by high profile lawyers, piling on by 22 year old who thought it was creepy he asked them out, and people who demanded he was kicked out of a mall (when there is no record of it).

If I was in Alabama right now, believing (as I do now) that this is a hit job as much as anything else... then the year book matter.

It really matters.

Because one of them is lying and the other is telling the truth.

That may not matter to you. But it matters.

If she is lying than I am predisposed to believe most of them are lying.

If he is lying than I am move forward knowing that Moore is a liar and did most everything he is accused of.

So when you see these big 15 point swings due to these sort of allegations and events... remember that those 15 points can swing back just as quick. Because those 15 percent are not part of those who have already made up their minds.

It's Alabama.

Some high profile lawyer comes wandering in from Los Angeles with some woman with a yearbook she claims is signed (but won't turn it over) - then gives some nonsense about verifying the evidence being a "distraction".

This won't go over well with many of those people.

I believe that for those 15% or so who are prone to move back and forth... the truth will matter to them. If the truth is on the accuser's side... then let it be known. There is nothing to lose in showing that he is flat out lying about it.

The only way they lose is if she is lying about it.

Then they deserve whatever loss in credibility there is.

Get a life pastor james boswell, Normal Illinois

I put your name and location here because you have made it known and your inappropriate actions here make it apparent you deserve others to know who you are.

You have made it a routine to publish in my moniker and to continuously publish spam from the left-wing web site PoliticalWire. I established a moniker, JAMES'S FUCKING DADDY to make you cease your actions but you continued. You then offered to change your behavior if I stopped using that moniker. Immediately the next day you published 4 more cut-n-paste transfers from that website. I responded. Every day you do similar. For instance today you posted cut-n-paste spam before I made any use of that moniker. I responded.

YOU ARE A FUCKING IDIOT AND PEOPLE NEED TO BE MADE AWARE

THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING THAT INFORMATION YOU FUCKING IDIOT

and yes I am coward, as in COWARDLY KING OBAMA

You know Opie...

Generally speaking, I give credit for WP actually addressing arguments at least "mostly" how they are made.

You and Rog argue like a couple of four year olds. Reminds me of a kindergarten argument.

The only thing that is missing is to call me ugly and stupid, say you don't want to be my friend ever again... and finish up with "so there!"

CH the sycophant claims.....s. Reminds me of a kindergarten argument.

You remind me of an old white man who is so set in his ways, talking to a brick is easier. Your esoteric BS arguments are like the child holding his breath and stomping his feet...As to friends...don't flatter yourself, I like people who think, not manipulate like a child....LOLOLOL
