Hillary Clinton’s career that sticks out in my mind and in the minds of probably quite a few gamers close to my age, her 2005 war on violent video games.

It was one of the hallmark proposals of Clinton’s Senate era, that selling violent games to the underage should be criminalized. Together with Senator Joe Lieberman, the two crafted the Family Entertainment Protection Act."

Yet, when President Trump brings it up, Crippled Alky go all angry, again.

Gun control advocates say we should depend on law enforcement for our protection.

Well I have never in my like seen such a complete and systematic failure of law enforcement under all levels as the shooting at Majoria Stone High School.

Agreed.

I live in very rural part of Kansas. I support my LEO's. They do an unbelievable job. However. Their response time to my home place is 20 plus minutes at best. We are armed.

DEMOCRAT SEN Nelson stood during the town hall and said:

The bill that I have co-sponsored defines very specifically “assault rifle.” It lists 200 different “assault rifles.” . "

thanks to liberals and their invincible ignorance, this is where we've landed:

Student investigated after allegedly saying a math symbol looked like a gun

Menstral our cramp postulated....

failure of law enforcement under all levels as the shooting at Majoria Stone High School.

Especially that officer who was sticking his thumb up his ass as kids died....and donnie wants to arm teachers when an officer with 30 years acts like a little girl.......Thans to lepierre and his red meat speech yesterday....especially the part where dem's love a shooting as much as you do menstral......

Which makes a compelling argument for arming teachers.

The only good guy with a gun, the one whose specific job was to guard and protect the children at school failed to do his job.

If there was more than one good guy with a gun his failure would have been so devastating.

Inside a Chaotic White House

Mike Allen: “The episodic drama is almost impossible to cover accurately, because the views reflected in the press often depend partly on which characters in the drama are most aggrieved at the moment, and which faction they belong to. Remember that President Trump thinks of each day as a new episode in a reality show, with him as the star, writer, producer and critic

“West Wing aides privately admit they have no earthly idea what Trump will do about anything — whether it be guns, immigration, their own careers, or the fate of Chief of Staff John Kelly.”

What’s Next for the NRA?

Playbook: “They believe the CNN town hall has provided a visual that the masses in this country want changes to the gun laws of this country. They believe this is false, despite polling that shows a movement in this direction. Seeing Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), a long-time ally, change his position under public pressure has many nervous that he is just the first Republican willing to make concessions on the issue.

“Look for them to support, or at least not try to stop, legislation to ban bump stocks and close mental health loopholes. Raising the age limit for purchasing the AR-15 would be a lot tougher for them to swallow. Still, they realize that their biggest advantage has been winning elections. The stakes have never been higher for the NRA than in the 2018 midterm elections. And the president of the United States has publicly said the NRA wants to cut some sort of gun-control deal, so they’ll need to find some safe ground.”

menstral our cramp should be armed during a shooting to see how fast he runs the other way posted....

"Shooting under stress is extremely difficult. Even for the most well-trained shooters," Jay Kirell, an Afghanistan veteran who has written about difficulties veterans face in civilian life, tweeted. "A teacher is not going to be able to do this. Cops & soldiers literally get paid to do this & most of them can't shoot accurately under stress."

"Not because they suck, but because it's nearly impossible to hit a target in one shot when pumped full of adrenaline," Kirell added. "And if you're in a school with a shooter and dozens of children, if you're not shooting accurately you're just creating crossfire."

Oh look Dennis can't make an argument so he insults instead.

And James post off topic spam as usual.

What lousy lineup of liberals devoid of any intellectual capacity CH has.

None of them can do much more than troll.

The Sicko is already facing you with a gun so the stress is already there.

The difference is whether you are resigned to your death or you have a chance to live with a gun in your hand.

And even if you miss, you force the shooter into evasive action which will delay his killing spree.

I'm sure james meant to sign in as AWOL but just because his echo chamber may find a few vet's who take that position or he imagines that, most vet's are PROUD to serve and highly support armed response if they are teaching or have qualified patriotic teachers do the same.

Libs not so much and we all know there is a lot of them "teaching"...

The Liberals of CHT.

There are literally hundreds of examples each year of Americans using guns in self defense, and dozens of examples of criminals being thwarted in a criminal act by armed citizens...

About half the time, those who perpetrated a mass killing were either killed by return gun fire, or killed themselves. The last person who went nuts at a local mall here in Minnesota was killed by a guy who had a gun and a conceal and carry license.

But the real issue is to do everything in your power to "prevent" the killings before they take place, not to end up in a gun fight. The idea of arming people is to make it a more difficult decision for someone who is thinking about a mass killing. It's a deterrent.

You don't hear of many people performing armed robbery on a bank that posts armed guards, or trying to get through security in a building where the security guards are armed. You don't see people bringing guns and opening fire at events where there is a large police or military presence. At least not very often.

Remember the last couple of times people opened fire in Paris, it didn't last very long. The guy who pulled out a gun on Champs Elysees, was gunned down by a military sniper within a few seconds after he opened fire... because in France, they have a strong military presence in public. You can't walk around the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame in 2018 without seeing soldiers and police carrying rifles. It's a deterrent.

Another reason our State secretes are not safe anymore with this kind of talent in the WH

White House senior aide Jared Kushner’s multiple omissions on required financial disclosure forms for his security clearance would “be a crime, punishable by prison” for other people, Fox News host Shepard Smith said Thursday.

“Apparently not in this case,” Smith added.

The White House has implied that Kushner’s frequent revisions to his financial forms to provide information that was incorrect or missing have caused delays which have held up his security clearance, even though he works with an interim clearance that allows him to view classified information.

Two sources, however, also told CNN Thursday that Kushner will not obtain full security clearance until special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation is complete.

Donald Trump’s son-in-law “submitted his application and did not include 100 contacts with foreigners,” Smith said on “Shepard Smith Reporting.” He “later had to go back and include them ... but he did not include the meeting in Trump Tower with the Russian lawyer and Russian translator. So that was another amendment to this thing.”

Revisions made last July by Kushner, who is married to Ivanka Trump, added 77 previously undisclosed assets and more than $10 million in holdings.
