So what does the indictment of Stone really tell us?

It shows that there was no collusion with Russia

While the Special Counsel basically was forced to charge Roger Stone with the process crimes surrounding "congressional testimony" (making Stone the eighth person in seven decades to see these charges) the entire indictment is littered with innuendo about what sort of dealings Roger Stone may or may not have had with people associated with Wikileaks.

Of course, none of those dealings are criminal, but the implications are quite obviously red meat designed to raise some hackles with those on the left. I strongly suggest that the small army early morning raid of the Stone residence was a matter of overcompensation for having a "small package" of goods on this one. Something more for the sort of optics necessary to make people believe this was bigger than a series of process crimes (that never would have existed had our government not started investigating a whole bunch of people not accused of committing any crimes).

If  you piece this all together, what you will find is that shortly after Julian Assange released the John Podesta emails, that someone from the Trump administration contacted Stone, who then contacted a person by the name of Randy Credico who had previously interviewed Julian Assange, all with the express intent of finding out if any other damaging material would be released.

Now if you believe for a second that the Trump campaign was the only entity out there wondering if there was more coming from Wikileaks, then I have some ocean side property in Florida for sale I would like to show you. If you believe that this behavior of curiosity is somehow criminal, I will just admit to you that it is swamp land and still expect you are dumb enough to buy it anyways.

The reality here is not only was this behavior not criminal, it's actually quite exculptuary.

Certainly if the President and his inner circle were conspiring with the Russians, then they would not have needed to go to a friend of a friend of a friend to figure out what might be going on. In fact, they would have already known what Wikileaks had, and how many other shoes there was going to be to drop.

The fact that the Trump campaign was reaching out to Stone to see if he had any contacts that knew anything is evidence that the Trump campaign was otherwise in the dark. Obviously a Trump administration knee deep in Russian collusion would have never been in the dark.

JOHN PODESTA SPEAKS OF
Roger Stone’s Time In the Barrel
January 25, 2019 at 10:29 pm EST

John Podesta:
“Despite my Italian roots, vengeance doesn’t run deep in my veins. But I admit I smiled when Roger Stone’s arrest was announced Friday morning.

“To give some context: On Oct. 7, 2016, WikiLeaks began leaking emails from my personal inbox that had been hacked by Russian intelligence operatives. A few days earlier, Stone — a longtime Republican operative and close confidant of then-candidate Donald Trump — had mysteriously predicted that the organization would reveal damaging information about the Clinton campaign. And weeks before that, he’d even tweeted: ‘Trust me, it will soon be Podesta’s time in the barrel.'

“Stone’s connection with and boasting about WikiLeaks during the campaign has always been fishy. But thanks to special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation, the truth is finally coming out.”

Trump Campaign Had 100+ Contacts with Russians
January 26, 2019 at 8:12 am EST

“During the 2016 presidential campaign and transition, Donald Trump and at least 17 campaign officials and advisers had contacts with Russian nationals and WikiLeaks, or their intermediaries, a New York Times analysis has found. At least 10 other associates were told about interactions but did not have any themselves.

“Among these contacts are more than 100 in-person meetings, phone calls, text messages, emails and private messages on Twitter. Mr. Trump and his campaign repeatedly denied having such contacts with Russians during the 2016 election.”

DECLARATION OF A NATIONAL EMERGENCY WITH RESPECT TO THE 2009 H1N1 INFLUENZA PANDEMIC
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
A PROCLAMATION
October 24, 2009

“NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, including sections 201 and 301 of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.) and consistent with section 1135 of the Social Security Act (SSA), as amended (42 U.S.C. 1320b-5), do hereby find and proclaim that, given that the rapid increase in illness across the Nation may overburden health care resources and that the temporary waiver of certain standard Federal requirements may be warranted in order to enable U.S. health care facilities to implement emergency operations plans, the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic in the United States constitutes a national emergency. Accordingly, I hereby declare that the Secretary may exercise the authority under section 1135 of the SSA to temporarily waive or modify certain requirements of the Medicare, Medicaid, and State Children's Health Insurance programs and of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Privacy Rule throughout the duration of the public health emergency declared in response to the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic. In exercising this authority, the Secretary shall provide certification and advance written notice to the Congress as required by section 1135(d) of the SSA (42 U.S.C. 1320b-5(d)).”4

But that’s not to say it’s not a potential political problem for Democrats also,” Bash stated.

She continued, “I’m hearing from senior Democrats that they are hearing more and more from their rank and file, particularly the new members who tend to come from more moderate districts saying they’re getting pounded because the Trump message, the Republican message that they don’t care about border security has started to seep in as well.”

A little lesson in juris-prudence here genius.

1. "Clear and Present Danger" is whatever the president declares it is.
2. The national emergencey act is a law so broad you can drive a Mack truck through it. To even file with the court you would have to prove standing and that would be a hard nut to crack. If you did, even the 9th circuit would have to stretch their legal imagination to justify an injunction.
3. There is no legal basis for Impeachment.

However the Democrats will impeach regardless of what Mueller says or what Trump does. But they still don't have 67 senators needed to convict.

As pointed out (and obviously you didn't bother to read) the Democrats are bound and determine to impeach him.

If for nothing else than for the "high crime" of winning an election they thought he shouldn't have won.

The founding fathers foresaw that impeachment could have used as the mechanism to engineer a coup d'eta. That's what it takes 67 votes in the senate to convict.

I can't have a conversation with anyone who actually believes this. And the only disclosed collusion so far is between Hillary's campaign and herself with the Russians and that's a fact.

The FBI did conduct an investigation into the alleged crimes you believe happened.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Fox News is the nearest thing to Pravda during Soviet Union era.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

The actions by the candidate Trump and President Trump are under investigation because of the comments by the President, especially after he fired Comey. It's not a Deep State conspiracy. That's just total bullshit.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Total bullshit.

Hillary, Comey, Rice, Brennan, Clapper etc are NOT continue to try and unseat the people's choice of president. The investigation is being conducted under the Trump's administration. Although they are part of the executive branch, because the founding fathers gave the investigative authority to investigate the President to make sure that he does not act without restraint. Trump wishes he could be a dictator. He admires Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Ung, even though he called him "The Rocket Man". They are great friends now.

cowardly king obama said...

So you should have no issue with a second special prosecutor. Much more factual basis for the second than the first and then we can believe the truth will have gotten out.

cowardly king obama said...

You should listen to One America News, much better than Fox. And after the past week anyone who listens to CNN,MSNBC or the msm is a fool

cowardly king obama said...

Amazing how those networks with totally different staffs use the exact same word choices nearly every day. No collusion there right? And ignore the same stories. I can see how you are so unaware.

C.H. Truth said...

There is as much evidence that Obama coordinated his campaign with the Russians, as there is that Trump did.

But there is ions more evidence of Clinton through Steele, working with Russian nationals to try to bring down Trump during that election.

cowardly king obama said...

And you are aware that the person responsible for the first special prosecutor is under criminal investigation right? The guy who was fired on the direction of his old handler...who didn't recuse himself even though he was friends with him and was a potential witness who wrote the memo causing the termination.

Unbelievable.

cowardly king obama said...

Actually the text messages from Strotz/page implicate Obama. Then Mueller accidentally deleted all their texts while they worked for him. Amazing how many times that has happened to those under suspicion ever since the IRS lady. And never to the other side...

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

It's a total waste of time and energy to discuss issues who believe in the Deep Throat Conspiracy. Jokes intentional. You keep sucking the mushroom penis President.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

LMAO

Then Mueller accidentally deleted all their texts while they worked for him.!

cowardly king obama said...

So you know what they said and where they are?

Or are you just being ignorant.

I believe the IG is trying to get to them but no success that I know of.

cowardly king obama said...

And if you are totally ignorant the ones everyone is aware of are back from their FBI days before Mueller.

cowardly king obama said...

Oh and take your ignorant penis comment and shove it up your ignorant ass

cowardly king obama said...

And if you think that when you fire an agent for previous text messages you don't retain his current text messages like Mueller didn't you are more than ignorant, you are dumber than shit

cowardly king obama said...

If the shoe was on other foot Mueller would be filing for obstruction of Justice and calling out his gestapo Gestapo arrest squad. These are government records and have retention policies he did not follow.

Stone at least tried to use Credico to get damaging WikiLeaks on Hillary Clinton during the campaign. Stone has even said Credico ponied up with information from Assange. Is he lying about Credico? Who the fuck knows! Stone seems to have had several back channels to the Russian hackers and WikiLeaks anyway, but regardless, MoJo confirms that Credico has been subpoenaed by the Mueller investigation.

And about that PREPARE TO DIE COCK SUCKER stuff! You see, Randy Credico said on the radio that Roger Stone was saying fibs about him, so Stone emailed Credico on April 9 of this year:

"I am so ready. Let's get it on. Prepare to die cock sucker," Stone emailed Credico on April 9 in response to Credico indicating he would publicly challenge Stone's description of their 2016 contacts.

Washington Post: Trump golf course fires undocumented employees during shutdown
By Sophie Tatum

Washington (CNN) — Approximately a dozen undocumented employees at Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, New York, were fired last week, as lawmakers -- including President Donald Trump -- were in the middle of a partial government shutdown over funding for a border wall, The Washington Post reported on Saturday.
The Post spoke to the workers and their attorney who said the abrupt firing took place on January 18, despite some of the individuals having worked as staff at the club for several years.
Last year, The New York Times reported that his private club in New Jersey had employed people who managers allegedly knew were in the country illegally.
The two women who spoke to The Times last year said that supervisors at the club took active measures to help them avoid detection and hold on to their jobs.

Extramarital affair with Kamala Harris? Former San Francisco mayor, 84, admits it happened

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown addressed his past extramarital relationship with U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris in his weekly column Saturday, saying he may have boosted the presidential hopeful's career.

"Yes, we dated. It was more than 20 years ago," Brown wrote in the San Francisco Chronicle.

"Yes, I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was [California] Assembly speaker. And I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco."

OSSINING, N.Y — They had spent years on the staff of Donald Trump’s golf club, winning employee-of-the-month awards and receiving glowing letters of recommendation.

Some were trusted enough to hold the keys to Eric Trump’s weekend home. They were experienced enough to know that, when Donald Trump ordered chicken wings, they were to serve him two orders on one plate.

But on Jan. 18, about a dozen employees at Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, N.Y., were summoned, one by one, to talk with a human resources executive from Trump headquarters.

During the meetings, they were fired because they are undocumented immigrants, according to interviews with the workers and their attorney. The fired workers are from Latin America.

Only the ignorant and the main stream media think Kamala Harris has a real shot of becoming president. She is currently polling at 4%, comes from California and has more baggage than J-Lo. Even her announcement that she was running had more reporters than supporters.

But shine a spotlight on her.
Catfights are fun to watch.
And that will happen.

Boy would Trump have a field day with her.

The National Emergencies Act of 1976 gives every president unconditional authority to declare an emergency on any subject, including a border emergency. Codified at 50 U.S.C. § 1601, this federal statute provides that “the words ‘any national emergency in effect’ means a general declaration of emergency made by the President.”

Contrary to the hyperventilating from partisan Democrats and media pundits pretending to be legal experts, these emergencies are common, and can last decades. Presidents have declared 58 emergencies since 1979, and 31 of those 58 are still in effect today. The first such emergency, which President Jimmy Carter declared in 1979 against Iran-sponsored terrorism, is still in effect 40 years later.

Congress has passed 136 statutory provisions pertaining to presidential emergency powers over the years, delegating significant authority to the president when he declares an emergency. Congress’s research arm notes that in certain types of emergencies, these powers include restricting travel, seizing commodities or property, and regulating businesses.

Not only that, but Congress specifically amended the Posse Comitatus Act – the law that prevents U.S. military troops from operating on U.S. soil, found at 18 U.S.C. § 1385 – in the 2007 National Defense Authorization Act to allow U.S. troops to function domestically under certain circumstances. One of those circumstances is to enforce federal law. Another is that the defense secretary can deploy troops to stop illegal aliens from crossing the U.S. border if the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requests military assistance.

Once President Trump declares an emergency, under 33 U.S.C. § 2293(a) the secretary of defense:

without regard to any other provision of law, may … apply the resources of the Department of the Army’s civil works program, including funds, personnel, and equipment, to construct or assist in the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of authorized civil works, military construction, and civil defense projects that are essential to the national defense.

The next subsection of that law adds that this authority continues until the president declares the emergency has ended, plus an additional 180 days.

Congress passed the Secure Fence Act in 2006, which explicitly authorizes building physical barriers on the U.S.-Mexican border. But even if Congress had not passed that law, the separate law quoted above gives President Trump all the authority he needs to act without further approval from Capitol Hill.

Once President Trump declares an emergency on the border, he can direct Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan to order the Army Corps of Engineers to begin constructing the wall. Congress has already appropriated $13.9 billion in emergency funds that the Corps can use, much more funding than the president’s $5.7 billion plan calls for.

Additionally, if DHS requests military support, the Pentagon can then also send however many additional troops the president needs to protect the workers and secure the border during construction.

So Roger...

Are you suggesting that the President, who is trying to curb illegal immigration, should not have fired workers who were undocumented?

Are you suggesting the he (or anyone else) should be just ignoring the law?
