Another poll shows Biden at 22%

First CNN shows sleepy Joe at 22% and now Quinnipiac is showing the Joester at 22%. In both polls, Harris has propelled herself into second place.

Now this tells me a couple of things. First and foremost, the Hillary Clinton stay out of sight plan cannot work for Joe Biden. Too early in the game to start playing four corners and attempting to run out the clock. While it might be a better strategy for Joe to lay low and not make the inevitable gaffes that Joe makes, it looks like he needs to re-establish himself, and fairly quickly. The second is that this race is so up for grabs, that something like a reasonably good debate performance can propel someone towards the top.

Regarding Kamala Harris? We'll have to see if this is just another flavor of the month deal, or if she has the staying power that Betomania or Buttomania could not sustain. I suspect at the end of the day, the wildly liberal Californian with almost no national experience will wear thin with those who are looking for electibility. Beating up on old man Joe in one debate does not a President make.

For now, it looks alot like a four person race, with a handful of hopefuls looking to be the next Kamala Harris and make a big jump over something fairly inconsequential. Personally I am rooting for a big day for Marianne Williamson, and am very hopeful that she can move up to personally battle with the big four!
