More wonderful news!

U.S. Economy Holds Up With 1.9% Growth on Consumer Strength

A resilient American consumer helped the U.S. economy expand more than forecast in the third quarter, assuaging concerns for now of a more pervasive slowdown tied to weakening business investment and faltering export markets. Gross domestic product increased at a 1.9% annualized rate, according to Commerce Department data Wednesday that topped forecasts in a Bloomberg survey that called for 1.6% growth.

Sure, this isn't 3% as Trump and others would like to see... but have you noticed that quiet gap in recession talk? Haven't been hearing much of the "R" word in recent weeks, after hearing almost nothing but.

This is probably a combination of it being "foolish" to predict a recession, being a full on dickface for rooting for a recession, and that new "shiny object" called impeachment that is now distracting the Democrats and their gullible following.

Btw... the chances of removing the President via impeachment is about the same as this last quarter being the start of a recession. Zilch!

Welcome back the lost years!

The U.S. economy cooled over the summer, growing at a 1.9 percent annualized pace from July through September, the latest sign that the slowdown is deepening.

When the economy was recovering from the Great Recession after the Bush administration failed, the growth under the Obama administration improved at the 1.9%, annualized rate, you claimed it was a failure.

Hypocrisy is evident in everything you say.

Firsthand account of Trump’s Ukraine call puts GOP in bind, emboldens Democrats

A top National Security Council official on Tuesday delivered a FIRSTHAND account of President Trump pressuring Ukraine to investigate his political rivals, putting congressional Republicans IN A BIND and EMBOLDENING Democrats as they moved toward their first impeachment vote Thursday.

Trump and his allies on TV lashed out at Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who said his concerns about what he heard in Trump’s July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky drove him to notify his superiors.

Trump dismissed Vindman as a “Never Trumper,” while some of his allies questioned the patriotism of the Army combat veteran because his family emigrated from the Soviet Union when he was 3.

Trump’s attack on the Purple Heart recipient UNNERVED Republicans in Congress, with several PUSHING BACK, albeit without naming the president, defending Vindman's integrity and patriotism..

The response from Trump’s party created an unusual dynamic in which Republicans were defending a man who was simultaneously accusing the president of undermining national security for his own political purposes. Privately, several Republicans found Vindman’s testimony to be damaging and lamented that once again they were forced to defend the president.

The GOP reaction to Vindman comes as the party faces frontal attacks on two of its major talking points in Trump’s defense. Vindman’s account of the phone call DEPRIVES Republicans of the complaint that the witnesses called by Democrats have relied on HEARSAY when discussing the president’s interactions with Zelensky.

And as Democrats moved to vote on a resolution to hold open hearings on impeachment, Republicans faced the prospect of losing their complaint that the inquiry is being conducted in secret.

SEE? TOLD YA YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR!

Consumer spending continues to power the economy, but business investment has now contracted for six straight months, falling 3 percent in the third quarter, the biggest drop since the end of 2015. A number of companies have said they are pulling back because of economic uncertainty, particularly related to whether trade rules will be shifting with China and other countries. Spending on both structures and equipment was deeply negative.

Welcome back to the lost years!

@RepMattGaetz

I just filed an ethics complaint against @RepAdamSchiff over his handling of the impeachment inquiry into President Trump.

Schiff has lied to the American people and abused his power.

We won't allow him to continue trampling the Constitution.

Really?

@ByronYork

Why we need interview transcripts: NYT, citing 'three people familiar,' said Vindman testified rough transcript 'omitted crucial words and phrases' from Trump-Zelensky call. Later said 'phrases do not fundamentally change lawmakers’ understanding of call.'

@gregpmillwe

Officials described the discrepancies cited by Vindman as minimal and of limited significance to investigators. Even Vindman "didn't ascribe any sinister motive or effect" to the changes he sought that were not incorporated into the document.

President Trump released the full transcript of the Ukraine call

Adam Schiff's newest "star witness" tried to have the Ukraine call transcript edited

But we're not allowed to criticize him because he served in the military

Why didn't the same rules apply to General Flynn?

don't worry, Flynn will have the last laugh if there is any justice.

NSC staff are not supposed to wear military uniform.

Why did Alex Vindman turn up for his testimony today in full uniform?

It's political theatre. A coup.

Because these people don't like Trump's America First foreign policy.

I have significant concerns about whether an active duty officer deliberately leaked top secret information as part of a deliberate effort to subvert the authority of his military command and potentially overthrow the elected commander-in-chief.

Normally called a coup.

Wait... so "whistleblower #2", Alexander Vindman, was a registered "foreign agent", embedded inside the U.S. National Security Council, and leaking the content of presidential phone calls with foreign leaders... and this is not an explosive headline why?
