It pained CNN to report this!

Exclusive: Former FBI lawyer under investigation after allegedly altering document in 2016 Russia probe
An FBI official is under criminal investigation after allegedly altering a document related to 2016 surveillance of a Trump campaign adviser, several people briefed on the matter told CNN.
This is just the start of things to come from the Russian investigation hoax! There will be more in the coming weeks.

the FBI's 302's - the reports written to record interviews (like with michael flynn) - are ripe for fraud and corruption.

the bureau has a policy explicitly prohibiting the recording or videotaping these interviews by their agents, and no one should ever agree to be interviewed by the FBI without an attorney present AND the means by which to videotape the entire interview.

as clint eastwood is reminding us with the release of richard jewell these cocksuckers are corrupt and rotten to their core and cannot be trusted to enforce any US law in any capacity.

MOUNTAIN OF IMPEACHMENT EVIDENCE IS BEYOND DISPUTE
November 22, 2019 at 7:12 am EST

“After two weeks of riveting public hearings in the House impeachment inquiry into President Trump, there is a mountain of evidence that is now beyond dispute,” the AP reports.

“Trump explicitly ordered U.S. government officials to work with his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani on matters related to Ukraine, a country deeply dependent on Washington’s help to fend off Russian aggression.

"The Republican president pushed Ukraine to launch investigations into political rivals, leaning on a discredited conspiracy theory his own advisers disputed. And both American and Ukrainian officials feared that Trump froze a much-needed package of military aid until Kyiv announced it was launching those probes.

“Those facts were confirmed by a dozen witnesses, mostly staid career government officials who served both Democratic and Republican administrations. They relied on emails, text messages and contemporaneous notes to back up their recollections from the past year.”

The Impeachment Hearings Have Been Useless

Democrats on the Intelligence Committee have spent the vast majority of their impeachment hearings trying to persuade voters that bureaucrats believe Donald Trump is impulsive, self-serving, and misguided — all of which is unsurprising, and completely irrelevant to the matter at hand.

Quite often, in fact, the most breathless coverage of these tedious hearings has absolutely nothing to do with the allegedly impeachable offenses of quid pro quo or “bribery” — or whatever focus group-tested terminology Democrats are deploying today. Take the newest blockbuster witness, Fiona Hill, a Russia expert whose testimony nearly every outlet promised would be “explosive.” She “lashes Rs for siding w Russian theory instead of us on 2016,” Politico’s Jake Sherman informs us.

Having a witness repeat “Russia” a whole bunch of times in front of the House Intelligence Committee’s impeachment panel isn’t nearly as fascinating or significant as reporters might imagine. Certainly, it has little to do with the supposed investigation undertaken to ferret out impeachable behavior.

For one thing, Hill’s broader contention is dubious. While Trump hasn’t called out Russia for interference, various other GOP leaders have done so on numerous occasions, including in a Senate intel report. And a person can simultaneously believe that both the Russians and Ukrainians meddled in 2016 to various degrees (and the Iranians.)

Even if one doesn’t, though, failing to adopt the Democrats’ histrionic tone over the threat of Twitter bots is neither criminal nor unconstitutional. (Reacting to 2016 as if it were Pearl Harbor, in fact, is likely quite pleasing to Putin.) If selling conspiracy theories to the American public for partisan reasons were a crime, Representative Adam Schiff would be serving consecutive life sentences in Supermax.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday toured a Texas plant that makes high-end Apple computers, chatting with Apple’s chief executive, Timothy D. Cook, and accepting a plate with the words “Assembled in USA.”

It was a pretty typical publicity event, until the end. Trump walked in front of the news cameras and took credit for the plant, suggesting it had opened that day. “For me, this is a very special day,” he said. Cook stood next to him, stone-faced.

The plant has been making Apple computers since 2013.

The corrupt president had become the corrupt policy. He’d run a fraudulent university, a dubious charity and bragged of cheating on prior wives and grabbing pussy; no surprise that he directed a foreign policy obsessed with a scheme to extort a fragile ally. As any novelist could have predicted, character was destiny.

Republicans had chased phantoms, political ephemera. Like Trump, they listened to propagandists in the right-wing press and fell into a hole of irrelevance. What about the whistle-blower? Unmask him! He’s a deep-stater, a never-Trumper!

But the whistle-blower was only a bit player, another in a long line of public servants whose vaccine of duty was strong enough to resist the contagion of Trump. The whistle-blower’s motive was, perhaps, stated best by Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the Purple Heart on his dress uniform speaking loudly, who said simply, “Here, right matters.”

And I'm sure he will be put on the stand again in the future to clear up statements he made about not knowing "whistleblower", leaking confidential information, etc. and why he didn't go through his chain of command. Upon further information coming out some of his answers lacked candor such as his commander not being available (Vindman actually went to him on another matter the same day) and his lack of time to do so.

Conduct that will be explored more deeply.

And if this "impeachment" is so "urgent" and Trump a "threat to our republic" why are House democrats leaving on a 10 day vacation and not working non-stop with a sense of urgency? Odd.

The Double-Barreled Dream World of Trump
November 22, 2019 at 10:01 am EST

Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch:
“The Ukraine scandal now unfolding in congressional impeachment hearings has at its core a Shakespearean twist: President Trump, abetted by his paladins of spin, has trapped himself in an alternate universe. To undermine the well-established fact that Russia corrupted the 2016 vote to help him win, Mr. Trump and his allies have tried to build a fiction that pins those crimes on Ukraine.

“In so doing, he has confirmed our darkest fears. The president’s bid to solicit foreign help to impugn a domestic political rival in 2019 should wipe away any doubts about his willingness to do the same with Russian help in 2016.

“Mr. Trump and his enablers — Rudolph Giuliani foremost among them — have scrambled all year to do two deeds at once. They want to besmirch Joe Biden, without foundation, for supposedly using his office as vice president to protect his son Hunter, who served until recently on the board of a Ukrainian gas company. And they want to reinvent what happened in 2016 so as to switch the blame for the election meddling from Moscow to Kyiv.”

Trump’s Crime Against America
November 22, 2019 at 10:04 am EST

Adam Serwer:
“All of these arguments, ranging from the weak to the false, obscure the core reason for the impeachment inquiry, which is that the Trump administration was engaged in a conspiracy against American democracy. Fearing that the 2016 election was a fluke in which Trump prevailed only because of a successful Russian hacking and disinformation campaign, and a last-minute intervention on Trump’s behalf by the very national-security state Trump defenders supposedly loathe, Trump and his advisers sought to rig the 2020 election by forcing a foreign country to implicate the then-Democratic front-runner in a crime that did not take place. If the American people could not be trusted to choose Trump on their own, Trump would use his official powers to make the choice for them.”

“Look, the case has been made. Almost everything in the impeachment hearings this week fleshed out and backed up the charge that President Trump muscled Ukraine for political gain. The pending question is what precisely the House and its Democratic majority will decide to include in the articles of impeachment, what statutes or standards they will assert the president violated.

“What was said consistently undermined Mr. Trump’s case, but more deadly was what has never been said. In the two months since Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry was under way and the two weeks since the Intelligence Committee’s public hearings began, no one, even in the White House, has said anything like, ‘He wouldn’t do that!’ or ‘That would be so unlike him.’ His best friends know he would do it and it’s exactly like him.”

Worth Your Time to Read.

Richard, (my husband), never really talked a lot about his time in Viet Nam, other than he had been shot by a sniper. However, he had a rather grainy, 8 x 10 black and white photo he had taken at a USO show of Ann Margret with Bob Hope in the background that was one of his treasures.

A few years ago, Ann Margaret was doing a book signing at a local bookstore. Richard wanted to see if he could get her to Sign the treasured photo so he arrived at the bookstore at 12 o'clock for the 7:30 signing.

When I got there after work, the line went all the way around the bookstore, circled the parking lot, and disappeared behind a parking garage. Before her appearance, bookstore employees announced that she would sign only her book and no memorabilia would be permitted.

Richard was disappointed, but wanted to show her the photo and let her know how much those
shows meant to lonely GI's so far from home.. Ann Margaret came out looking as
beautiful as ever and, as second in line, it was soon Richard's turn.

He presented the book for her signature and then took out the photo. When he did, there were many shouts from the employees that she would not sign it. Richard said, "I understand. I just wanted her to see it."

She took one look at the photo, tears welled up in her eyes and she said, "This is one of my gentlemen from Viet Nam and I most certainly will sign his photo. I know what these men did for their country and I always have time for 'my gentlemen.'' With that, she pulled Richard across the table and planted a big kiss on him. She then made quite a to-do about the bravery of the young men she met over the years, how much she admired them, and how much she appreciated them. There weren't too many dry eyes among those close enough to hear. She then posed for pictures and acted as if he were the only one there.

That night was a turning point for him. He walked a little straighter and, for the first time in years, was proud to have been a Vet. I'll never forget Ann Margaret for her graciousness and how much that small act of kindness meant to my husband.

Later at dinner, Richard was very quiet. When I asked if he'd like to talk about it, my big, strong husband broke down in tears.. ''That's the first time anyone ever thanked
me for my time in the Army,'' he said.

I now make it a point to say 'Thank you' to every person I come across who served in our Armed Forces. Freedom does not come cheap and I am grateful for all those who have served their country.

If you'd like to pass on this story, feel free to do so. Perhaps it will help others to become aware of how important it is to acknowledge the contribution our service people make.

A True Patriot Will Pass This On. A Foreigner In This Country Might Not.

Democrats are focusing on a push by President Trump—and his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani—to get Ukraine to launch investigations tied to former Vice President Joe Biden at the same time the Trump administration had put a hold on almost $400 million in military aid. There’s also evidence that Trump’s aides told Ukraine such an investigation was a prerequisite for a coveted Oval Office visit for the country’s new president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Objection of justice.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller found multiple instances of potential obstruction of justice by the president in his long-running Russia investigation. Campaign finance violations.

In October, federal prosecutors in New York charged two associates of Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, with campaign-finance violations. Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman are accused of laundering more than $300,000 that went to political groups backing Trump initiatives and to a Republican congressman, who they pressed to help in removing the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine at the time, Marie Yovanovitch. Parnas and Fruman have both pleaded not guilty, and no trial date has been set.

so democrats wish to cave to putin's demands. who's colluding again???

Former White House national security expert Fiona Hill testified Thursday that Russian president Vladimir Putin viewed American fracking as a "great threat to Russian interests"; top contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination, however, have called for an outright ban of the practice.

Under questioning from Rep. Mike Conaway (R., Tex.) at a hearing on the impeachment of President Donald Trump, Hill agreed that a ban on fracking would play into Putin's hands.

"In November 2011, I actually sat next to Vladimir Putin in a conference in which he made precisely that point," she said. "It was the first time that he had actually done so to a group of American journalists and experts who were brought to something called the Valdai Discussion Club. So he started in 2011 making it very clear that he saw American fracking as a great threat to Russian interests."

Hill added everyone in attendance was struck by how much Putin stressed the issue at the time. Putin has continued to oppose American fracking, which has transformed the U.S. into the world's top oil and gas producer and reduced Russia's influence in the global energy market. It has also helped reduce greenhouse gas emissions, a goal of climate change advocates.

However, 6 of the 10 Democrats on Wednesday night's debate stage—including Sens. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.), Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.), and Kamala Harris (D., Calif.)—support a ban on fracking, citing its supposedly negative environmental effects.

Trump again lashes out at Yovanovitch

President Donald Trump unleashed fresh attacks on Marie Yovanovitch Friday, the former U.S. ambassador he ousted in May as his associates began pressuring the new Ukrainian president to investigate Joe Biden, accusing her of refusing to hang a photo of himself in the Ukrainian Embassy and saying she “was not an angel.”

"This ambassador that, you know, everybody says is so wonderful, she wouldn't hang my picture in the embassy,” Trump said in a phone interview on “Fox & Friends," WITHOUT OFFERING ANY EVIDENCE of his claim. “She is in charge of the embassy. She wouldn't hang it. It took like a year and a half, two years to get the picture up.”
_________

...The claim that Yovanovitch refused to hang Trump's portrait echoes similar complaints from earlier in his tenure when Trump's official portrait was reportedly missing from thousands of government offices — until the White House released portraits of the president NINE months after he was sworn in.

The State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Former President Barack Obama on Friday offered a firm warning to the 2020 Democratic primary field. Worried the candidates may be openly pushing the party too far to the left, he urged them to remember the age-old secret of getting elected as a Democrat.

“They’ve got to save the far-left stuff until after they get elected,” Obama said. “You’ve got to lie a little. ‘Mislead’ is the better term. You won't get elected otherwise. On the campaign you want to stick with the simple stuff like ‘yes we can’ and ‘change.’ Once you’re elected, you can basically go full commie.”

Historically, Obama is correct. Every single Democratic president since Grover Cleveland has won the presidency by simply lying to the American people–or at least misleading them. It worked then, and it would likely work in 2020.

Obama noted that typical Democratic voters are not ready for forced abortions, wealth confiscation at gunpoint, or even labor camps. "Unfortunately," Obama said, "ideas like this take time to develop in the collective mind, so we have to hide them from the American people."

Obama also warned that another four years of President Trump could be devastating to the far-left agenda. Worse, he warned that the continued push for impeachment will likely aid Trump in winning a second term.

“Listen,” Obama said, “If they had tried to impeach me, I’d have been done for real quick. We had so many scandals we actually ran out of code-names for them. But this Ukraine deal, it’s a joke, and it needs to stop.”

The message from Barack Obama is crystal clear. Democrats need to save the far-left talk for November 4, 2020--and stop trying to impeach President Trump for no reason.

She knows what’s at stake. And she has done her part. It gives me hope, I guess. Hope that we can, in fact, expose and defeat this malignancy at the heart of our democracy.

IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY
Trump hits back against impeachment hearings, defends Giuliani's Ukraine dealings

Trump gave his first extensive interview since the House Intelligence Committee wrapped up two weeks of public

Less than 24 hours after the House wrapped up a marathon round of public impeachment hearings, President Donald Trump on Friday hit back hard, denying all wrongdoing in his dealings with Ukraine, insulting witnesses and key Democrats involved in the inquiry, and defending putting Rudy Giuliani in charge of a parallel policy process in Ukraine.

Over two weeks of public hearings, multiple witnesses told the House Intelligence Committee that Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer, ran a shadow policy team with the goal of pressuring the Ukrainian government to announce investigations into Burisma — the Ukrainian gas company that Hunter Biden joined as a board member in 2014 — and debunked conspiracies that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election.

Trump, however, defended his decision to put Giuliani, a private citizen, in the middle of Ukraine policy Friday, citing his experience, decades ago, in fighting corruption as a U.S. attorney and as the mayor of New York City.

“Rudy is a great crime fighter,” Trump said during a telephone interview with "Fox and Friends" that stretched nearly an hour. He lauded his old friend as “the best mayor” and “a very legendary figure in our country.”

“He’s also a friend of mine,” Trump added. “A great person, an iconic figure in this country.”

“He’s got credentials,” the president said. “When Rudy Giuliani goes there and it’s a corrupt country, it means a lot.”

Two associates of Giuliani, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, who helped the former mayor dig for dirt in Ukraine on former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, were indicted last month on charges that they were funneling money from foreign entities to U.S. candidates in a plot to buy political influence.

WHY DIDN'T YOU MENTION THEM, MR. PRESIDENT, AND HOW GREAT THEY ARE TOO. AND DON'T TELL US AGAIN YOU DON'T KNOW THEM, THERE ARE PHOTOS OF YOU WITH THEM AND OF YOUR WON SITTING WITH THEM AT A TABLE, AND THERE WAS A TIME WHEN YOU AND RUDY AND THE TWO OF THEM HAD A PRIVATE MEETING.

Trumpism stage four brain cancer victims are the Republican!

He’s a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot. He doesn’t represent my party. He doesn’t represent the values that the men and women in uniform are fighting for,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham in December 2015. In another interview, Graham said, “I think he’s a kook. I think he’s crazy. I think he’s unfit for office.” Graham has now become one of Trump’s most ardent advocates.
“This man is a pathological liar, he doesn’t know the difference between truth and lies,” said Sen. Ted Cruz in May 2016, adding that “the man is utterly immoral” and “a narcissist at a level I don’t think this country’s ever seen.” Cruz now insists that Trump did nothing illegal with regard to Ukraine and says of the impeachment inquiry, “Washington is always a circus, but this is three rings with all the clowns and it’s nuts right now.”
“Yes, I am supporting Donald Trump, but I’m doing so despite the fact that I think he’s a terrible human being,” said Mick Mulvaney in November 2016. He now serves as Trump’s acting chief of staff.
“He offers a barking carnival act that can be best described as Trumpism: a toxic mix of demagoguery, mean-spiritedness and nonsense that will lead the Republican Party to perdition if pursued,” said Rick Perry in July 2015. “Trump’s candidacy is a cancer on conservatism, and it must be clearly diagnosed, excised and discarded.” Perry became Trump’s secretary of energy, then was tasked to implement Trump’s corrupt Ukraine policy as one of the “three amigos.”
“During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices,” said then-governor Nikki Haley in February 2016 in a reference to Trump, adding that he was “everything a governor doesn’t want in a president.” Haley became his ambassador to the U.N., and now says of Trump that he’s “truthful” and "great to work with.”
There are conservative pundits and activists who flip-flopped on Trump as well. To take just one vivid example, longtime right-wing activist L. Brent Bozell III wrote in early 2016, “Trump might be the greatest charlatan of all.” But in a recent book entitled “Unmasked: Big Media’s War Against Trump,” Bozell writes about finally meeting the great man: “His intelligence was clearly evident. But so was there a thoroughly unexpected — dare I say it? — humility and graciousness. … Trump was about the most charismatic man I ever met.”

Trump, in his interview, also rebutted the accounts of several key impeachment inquiry witnesses who testified publicly over the last two weeks — including Gordon Sondland, the ambassador to the European Union, Kurt Volker, the former U.S. special envoy to Ukraine, and Marie Yovanovitch, the former ambassador to Ukraine.

When it came to Sondland, who’d testified that he had a direct line to Trump and that there had been clear quid pro quo effort to trade a White House meeting Ukraine wanted for investigations desired by Trump and Giuliani, Trump said Friday the allegations were “total nonsense” and that he “hardly” knows Sondland.

Trump also said he didn’t know Volker, who, in revised testimony said that he came to understand that figures in the Trump administration sought an investigation into the Biden family and that they told Ukraine's government that millions in military aid depended on it.

When it came to Yovanovitch — whom Trump had already debased on Twitter while she testified — he alleged that Republican lawmakers had told him he should be “kind to her” because “she’s a woman.”

SHE COULD SMACK YOU DOWN ANY DAY, DONNIE.

He also said he was angry with her because “she wouldn’t hang my picture in the (U.S.) embassy (in Ukraine).”

Lawyers representing Yovanovitch said THIS CLAIM IS FALSE.

"The Embassy in Kyiv‎ hung the official photographs of the president, vice president, and secretary of state as soon as they arrived from Washington, D.C.," a person connected to her legal team said Friday.

The Trump administration's delay in making the images available to government offices was unclear.

(SO THAT MAKES LIE NUMBER THREE THOUSAND AND WHAT?)

Trump, in the interview, went on to slam House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who ran the public hearings, as a “sick puppy” and said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was “crazy as a bedbug.”

“They tried to impeach,” Trump said. “They looked like fools.”

WONDERFUL DIPLOMATIC LANGUAGE YOU USE THERE, TRUMPEY. YOU ARE GOING TO GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE MOST UNFIT PERSON FOR THE OFFICE WHO EVER HELD IT.

And he wouldn’t back down from his belief in a conspiracy theory that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election in a way that favored Hillary Clinton and hurt his campaign — a widely debunked theory that contributed to the impeachment inquiry in the first place because Trump told his Ukrainian counterpart he wanted the accusation investigated.

“They have the server from the DNC,” Trump insisted about Ukraine on Friday. “And I still want to see that server.”

LOOK IN FAIRYLAND.

When asked by the “Fox and Friends” hosts if he was “sure” about that claim, Trump responded, ”Well, that’s what the word is.”

Your crazy President went off the wall today.

In a 53-minute phone interview with “Fox & Friends,” Mr. Trump accused David Holmes, a political counselor to the top American diplomat in Ukraine, of fabricating a phone call between Mr. Trump and the ambassador to the European Union. Mr. Holmes told impeachment investigators that he had overheard the president asking the ambassador, Gordon D. Sondland, about Ukrainian investigations into his political rivals, a consequential detail in the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry.

“I guarantee you that never took place,” Mr. Trump said. He added that he barely knew Mr. Sondland, a wealthy hotelier from Oregon who contributed $1 million to Mr. Trump’s inaugural committee. In his own testimony under oath, Mr. Sondland corroborated Mr. Holmes’s account.

At least 3 other people heard the phone call from the President.

defend himself against WHAT, pederast?

we've seen no formal articles of impeachment. democrats even had to focus group the accusation and change it from 'quid pro quo' to 'bribery.'

so far all we've seen is empty rhetoric and clear bias from the "witnesses."

if you fucksticks can't even agree on a charge the president must answer for, how can you expect him to testify?

the schiff show is just about over. then we swing it over to the senate and cocaine mitch is in charge. outside of c-span and fox we can expect a total media blackout, which will be a shame because this is where the real fun will begin.

and for all those senators to have to indefinitely suspend their presidential campaigns... damn, what a shame.

the alky lives in the dumbest fucking city in the nation:

Los Angeles Democratic Mayor Eric Garcetti and other city leaders recently broke ground on a permanent supportive housing complex that will use stacked shipping containers to house formerly homeless people.

The containers will be arranged into towers, then connected by walkways to create a single, unified building topped with rooftop terraces and gardens. They have been specifically manufactured as modular, prefabricated homes because building codes prevent the developer from using recycled containers.

According to the architect, the design was chosen “as a way to reduce the cost and construction time.” However, KFI News reports that the project’s final price tag breaks down to about $600,000 per residential unit, noting the amount is “more than the median price of a condo” in L.A.
