60% of Americans don't want vote by fraud.

Wrong side of yet another issue.

When I vote I go to the same church I have vote at for 30 + years. I say hi to Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. Shaffer they run the voting station. They know me and I know them. yet, I present my Drivers License, They scan it, find me on the paper roll and I sign in. I vote at the electronic voting machine, confirm my votes, They are recorded and I leave.

The bridge in Selma Alabama should be named after John Lewis.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Trump is hinting that he might not “accept” the election results. Since that would be breaking the law, non-uniformed Federal agents will have to throw him in the back of an unmarked vehicle and drive him away.

Edmund Pettus was a racist and the Grand Dragon of the Alabama KKK. Help us rename the bridge that bears his name after civil rights icon John Lewis.

Edmund Winston Pettus (born July 6, 1821 – July 27, 1907) was an American politician who represented Alabama in the United States Senate from 1897 to 1907. He previously served as a senior officer of the Confederate States Army who commanded infantry in the Western Theater of the American Civil War. After the war, he was politically active in the Ku Klux Klan, serving as a grand dragon.[1]

This Stuart Rothenberg, liver? From 4/09, what did the Rs win, I think 63 seats...

Yes, Republicans have plenty of opportunities in good districts following their loss of 53 House seats over the past two cycles. And yes, there are signs that the Republican hemorrhage has stopped and even possibly that the party’s fortunes have begun to reverse course.

But there are no signs of a dramatic rebound for the party, and the chance of Republicans winning control of either chamber in the 2010 midterm elections is zero. Not “close to zero.” Not “slight” or “small.” Zero.

Trump Won’t Say If He’ll Accept Election Results

President Trump refused to say on Fox News whether he would accept the results of November’s election if he loses to Joe Biden, telling host Chris Wallace: “I have to see. I’m not just going to say yes. I’m not going to say no.”

The Republican National Committee (RNC), the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), and the Florida GOP won a federal court victory upholding Florida’s ban on ballot harvesting.

The same as what I said in 2016.

Bonus Quote of the Day
“The residents here are terrified. And I’m terrified for the first time in my career, because there’s a lack of leadership and we simply have not gotten our arms around this.”

Without the strong national leadership we need, it can ONLY continue to get worse.

Trump’s License to Skirt the Law

“President Trump and top White House officials are privately considering a controversial strategy to act without legal authority to enact new federal policies — starting with immigration,” administration officials tell Axios.

“The White House thinking is being heavily influenced by John Yoo, the lawyer who wrote the Bush administration’s justification for waterboarding after 9/11.”

“Yoo detailed the theory in a National Review article, spotted atop Trump’s desk in the Oval Office, which argues that the Supreme Court’s 5-4 DACA ruling last month ‘makes it easy for presidents to violate the law.'”

“The president has brought up the article with key advisers.”

Which, woof. At a time when coronavirus cases continue to surge -- 70,000+ cases were reported nationwide on Saturday -- it seems more than a little strange that the Trump administration would be pushing to reduce money for the CDC, not to mention cuts to testing and contact tracing dollars for the states.

Ryan Warned Trump Was Losing In Wisconsin

Former Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) recently warned during a private gathering that President Trump risks losing Wisconsin and other key states to Joe Biden in November, the New York Times reports.

Said Ryan:
“Biden is winning over Trump in the category of voters 70 to 30, and if that sticks, he cannot win states like Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.”

_____________
My, my. Seventy to Thirty.

BUT PUTTING THAT ASIDE THE WHOLE Biden is winning over Trump in the category of voters 70 to 30 MAKES NO SENSE. THERE IS NO CATEGORY 70 to 30.

AND THEN YOU COPY THAT GODDARD MISTAKE AND EVEN TRY TO LOOK SMART AND MAKE AN ADDITIONAL COMMENT.

ROFLMFAO !!!

Renaming the bridge loses the historic context of the civil right's movement. Do you really want future children to be taught that John Lewis was beating up at the John Lewis bridge?

It's up to the city fathers of Selma (now majority black), but I doubt they will go along.

John Lewis’s America
Wall Street Journal editorial:

“We had differences with Lewis on policy, not least his opposition to the 1996 welfare reform when he predicted a catastrophe for the poor. The reform, passed by a GOP Congress and signed by President Bill Clinton, is the most successful bipartisan reform of the last 30 years.

“But these differences are trivial compared to the significance of Lewis’s life and contribution to America. He famously forgave George Wallace, Alabama’s segregationist Governor in the 1960s, in an example of reconciliation all of us should emulate. He never gave up his belief in nonviolence, despite the violence used against him. He never lost faith in the capacity of American democracy, despite its flaws, to strive for a more perfect union.”
______________

AMEN!!!

And that's the man KDim called a racist A-hole.
