Russia then recalled their ambassador to reevaluate their relationship with the U.S. Putin then challenged Biden to a live debate and Biden said he was “too busy,” backing down (link).
So is "this" really the way you show that you are tough on Russia? By making personal insults of another nation's leader? Well yeah... as witnessed here almost every day. Liberals love to argue using personal attacks and insults. Way easier than having a real argument or making real points. I guess Joe is just taking his personal leadership to a new place!

There are two possible reasons why the Georgia proposal would ban people from handing out refreshments to people in line at the local polling stations.
1) Because there have been complaints that political advocacy groups have been approaching people in lines offering them food and drink in an implicit attempt to sway voters in violation of Federal laws prohibiting campaigning at polling stations.
2) Because Georgia legislators are all mean and spiteful people who want voters to die of thirst.

The Dominion lawsuit is that is making the argument that Sidney Powell is so credible that her opinion must be seen as expression of a fact. That is the basis of how they are wanting to get around the "free speech" aspect of this situation. The argument is that it's not free speech if you are expressing what is seen as a fact. Not sure where in the constitution that argument is made, but lord knows what people are thinking anymore.
If I was "truly" arguing that Sidney Powell was credible, then in fact I would be agreeing with Dominion. But I am not really agreeing with Dominion (and I think I have made that fairly clear).

You can't lose a case until the court decides to hear it, and the various courts decided NOT to hear virtually all of them because of "standing."

The argument made by Dominion is that you cannot make any claims that their machines might have been hacked or used to alter the 2020 election, because doing so is akin to defamation. They have threatened people who do not have the resources to fight their lawsuit and many of them have had to "retract" claims that are (in fact) a matter of speculation or even opinion.
Powell is one of a handful that are actually willing to stand up to it. Because make no mistake, it's a matter of a large corporation bullying people into submissions with threats of lawsuits that under normal circumstances would have no chance of success, but under current politically charged environment causes a risk for those who fight back.
I don't believe that Dominion was in on any attempts to undermine the 2020 election. But the facts remain that some of their own statements (such as the fact that their machines are not internet accessible) were clearly false. I believe that Powell will likely prevail legally and may even get it tossed as some point. It has nothing to do with whether or not her claims are true or false. It is entirely based on whether or not she factually claimed things about Dominion that wasn't true. Her allegations are largely against those election officials and her argument regarding Dominion was that their machines were "used" to alter the elections.
So ultimately if Powell (or whichever defendant) can prove that Dominion machines were accessible via the internet and that their programming can be altered, then Dominion ultimately will not have a case.
