The Bitter Truth: There’s Still No Rhyme or Reason to COVID-19

The stats defy the spin: This pandemic does not hinge on whether the governor is a Democrat or Republican, whether restrictions are tight or loose. It does not care...
Two presidents. Fifty states. One-hundred-and-ninety-five countries. A multitude of different approaches. And still, there’s no rhyme or reason to this pandemic. Vaccines help a great deal. That much we know. Beyond that, though, the coverage of the virus has mostly been partisanship and witchcraft. Here, current as of today, is the per-state death chart per 100,000 people in the United States:
What Griffin, O’Brien, and others wanted the Times to say was that Red States Are Bad and Blue States Are Good — or, perhaps, as Paul Krugman argued over the weekend, that the North Is Good and the South Is Bad, Just Like During the Civil War. But this simply isn’t correct. If it were, what could possibly account for the death-rate pairings of New York and Mississippi? Of Alabama and Connecticut? Of Michigan and Arkansas? Of Texas and Delaware? Of Idaho and Colorado? For months, many in the press have banged on and on and on about Florida’s governor and then been shocked to learn that, even after a terrible spike — a spike that, mercifully, is beginning to fade — Florida’s record remains better than those of New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Michigan, and Illinois; that the number of children who have died in Florida (per capita) is not only exactly in line with the national average, but around five times lower than D.C.’s number, and just over half of New York’s; that, far from lagging behind, Florida’s vaccination rate is above the national average; and that, despite having a disproportionately old population, Florida sits in the bottom half for deaths among senior citizens. The state of Louisiana, which seems to get hit around the same time as Florida each time there is a wave of COVID-19 infections, currently boasts many policies that Florida does not — among them, an ongoing indoor mask mandate that applies even to the vaccinated, a statewide school-mask mandate for all students over the age of five, and, in the city of New Orleans, a system of vaccine passports. Despite this, Louisiana’s death rate is the fourth worst in the nation, while Florida — which has a much older population (as of 2020, Florida has the largest senior population in the union; Louisiana’s is 42nd) — sits in 20th place. What gives?

President Biden set to deadline on August 31st is because. The Congress gets back from vacation time.

He will get both of the bills sent to his desk in the Oval Office and sign the most transitional laws since FDR.

This Covid-19 bullshit Mr Scott Johnson has killed hundreds of people of American citizens.

The Prez was supposed to speak to the unwashed masses about how great this operation went, and originally it was set for 1:30 pm

Then was pushed back until 2:45, and then everyone was given a pager and told they would be alerted when Joe was “ready” to face the cameras, and not take any questions.

I know I can hear those people that are screaming that ALL PRESIDENTS are late. That is true, but I would add two caveats. Not this often, and not this late.

There is always something that can delay a president from meeting a deadline of any kind. Yet, this White House is putting on a show of how to keep the press waiting around, while Joe has one last bite of that ice cream they gave him, being he ate all his veggies. At least we can be pretty sure he is not being delayed like President Clinton was alleged that one time, while Yassar Arafat was waiting in the Rose Garden, being Dr. Jill would not be allowing any of that nonsense.

So, what is the real reason that Joe is becoming tardier and tardier?

The easy answer is that Joe is obviously slipping.

Yet, for those of us that have watched politics on a national level for years know about Joe Biden and his Tourette’s-like outbursts of anger, and making outrageous statements, is par the course. Adding that all of a sudden he is late more often because he has all the responsibilities of being president, and I guess it is plausible.

Yet, I think it is more than that.

I know the popular theory is that he is suffering from dementia, and they are prepping him for hours beforehand. I know people who have that dreaded disease, and I sure as hell would like to know how they get someone with that condition to function enough to answer questions badly by the mostly toothless White House Press Corps. Also if that were the case, there are a bunch of people that would be covering that up and will need to go to jail for covering that up.

Probably most everyone in the West Wing, and that type of scandal would make Watergate look like a church picnic.

I’m just going to punt for now and say that maybe Joe is hanging with his baby boy Hunter, and they are playing video games, and they can never time the end of the game with starting the press event on time.

Florida Changes How It Counts Covid-19 Deaths
August 31, 2021 at 5:58 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard

The Florida Department of Health has started using what one economist describes as a “statistical sleight of hand” to make daily COVID-19 deaths appear much lower than they actually are, the Miami Herald reports.

Should be taken out and shot.

Abbott, a Republican, is expected to sign it into law.”

We don't want no blacks and browns voting. ng

August 31, 2021 at 3:43 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard

In televised remarks, President Biden delivered a defiant explanation of the chaotic withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan: “I was not going to extend this forever war. And I was not extending a forever exit.”

He added:
“The bottom line: 90% of Americans in Afghanistan who wanted to leave were able to leave. And for those remaining Americans, there is no deadline. We remain committed to get them out, if they want to come out.”

Here is my original 2020 article on the most famous and celebrated modeler in the world, Neil Ferguson:

Neil Ferguson: the ghost in the machine—

Why do governments salute when he predicts a pandemic and tells them to lock down their countries?

Does anyone care about his past?

Why does he still have a prestigious job?

Who is he connected to?

Neil Ferguson, through his institute at London’s Imperial College, can call the shots on a major percentage of the global population.

He’s Mr. Genius, when it comes to projecting computer models of epidemics.

Fellow experts puff up his reputation.

According to the Business Insider (4/25/20), “Ferguson’s team warned Boris Johnson that the quest for ‘herd immunity’ [letting people live their lives out in the open in the UK] could cost 510,000 lives, prompting an abrupt U-turn [massive national lockdown in the UK]…His simulations have been influential in other countries as well, cited by authorities in the US, Germany, and France.”

Not only cited, not only influential, but swallowed whole.

Business insider continues: “On March 23 [2020], the UK scrapped ‘herd immunity’ in favor of a suppression strategy, and the country made preparations for weeks of lockdown. Ferguson’s study was responsible.”

There’s more. A lot more.

Same BI article: “Dr. Deborah Birx, coronavirus response coordinator to the Trump administration, told journalists at a March 16 press briefing that the Imperial paper [Ferguson’s computer projection] prompted the CDC’s new advice to work from home and avoid gatherings of 10 or more.”

Ferguson, instigator of LOCKDOWN. Stripping away of basic liberties. Economic devastation.

So let’s look at Ferguson’s track record, spelled out in the Business Insider piece:

Anonymous said...

“Ferguson co-founded the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis, based at Imperial, in 2008. It is the leading body advising national governments on pathogen outbreaks.”

“It gets tens of millions of dollars in annual funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and works with the UK National Health Service, the US Centres for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC), and is tasked with supplying the World Health Organization with ‘rapid analysis of urgent infectious disease problems’.”

Getting the picture?

Gates money goes to Ferguson.

Ferguson predicts dire threat from COVID, necessitating lockdowns—thus preparing people to accept a vaccine. The vaccine Gates wants.

Ferguson supplies a frightening computer projection of COVID deaths—to the CDC and WHO. Ferguson thus communicates a rationale for the Gates vaccine plan.

National governments surrender to WHO and CDC. LOCKDOWNS.

Business Insider: “Michael Thrusfield, a professor of veterinary epidemiology at Edinburgh University, told the paper he had ‘déjà vu’ after reading the [Ferguson] Imperial paper [on COVID], saying Ferguson was responsible for excessive animal culling during the 2001 Foot and Mouth [mad cow] outbreak.”

“Ferguson warned the government that 150,000 people could die. Six million animals were slaughtered as a precaution, costing the country billions in farming revenue. In the end, 200 people died.”

“Similarly, he [Ferguson] was accused of creating panic by overestimating the potential death toll during the 2005 Bird Flu outbreak. Ferguson estimated 200 million could die. The real number was in the low hundreds.” HELLO?

“In 2009, one of Ferguson’s models predicted 65,000 people could die from the Swine Flu outbreak in the UK — the final figure was below 500.”

So you have to ask yourself, why would anyone believe what Ferguson has been predicting in this COVID hustle?

Are his fellow experts that stupid?

Are presidents and prime ministers that stupid?

And the answer is: This is a monumental covert op; some people are that stupid; some are caught up in the op and are afraid to say the emperor has no clothes; some are aware of what is going on, and they want to destroy national economies and lead us into, yes, a new world order.

Gates knows he has his man: Ferguson. As the recipient of tens of millions of dollars a year from the Gates Foundation, Ferguson isn’t about to issue a model that states: COVID is nothing to worry about, let people live their lives and we’ll be all right. The chance of that happening is on a par with researchers admitting they never properly identified a new virus as the cause of illness in 2019, in Wuhan.

In order to justify injecting every man, woman, and child in the world with synthetic genes, Gates needs A STORY ABOUT A DEADLY VIRUS THAT NECESSITATES SHUTTING DOWN AND IMPRISONING THE PLANET, ACHIEVING A CAPTIVE AUDIENCE.

He’s got the story, all dressed up in a computer model, composed by a man with a past record of abject and devastating failures.

Neil Ferguson is the ghost in the machine. The machine is the World Health Organization and the CDC. The man behind the ghost is Bill Gates.

Once again Lil Schitty shows skewed statistics .....Sadly, NJ leads in deaths per capita probably due to NJ's aging population.....WHen you look at the worst states for infection, ND, Tn RI, AR FL,MS, LA, UT and SC lead the way while HI, VT, ME and OR have the lowest rates......gee......anyone see a pattern here?????? Yes jersey kills the most, but the top ten show the worse infection rates and all but RI led the way of doing nothing!!!!!!!!

Has the Delta Variant Peaked?
September 1, 2021 at 6:57 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

David Leonhardt and Ashley Wu:
“Since the pandemic began, Covid has often followed a regular — if mysterious — cycle. In one country after another, the number of new cases has often surged for roughly two months before starting to fall. The Delta variant, despite its intense contagiousness, has followed this pattern.

“After Delta took hold last winter in India, caseloads there rose sharply for slightly more than two months before plummeting at a nearly identical rate. In Britain, caseloads rose for almost exactly two months before peaking in July. In Indonesia, Thailand, France, Spain and several other countries, the Delta surge also lasted somewhere between 1.5 and 2.5 months.

“And in the U.S. states where Delta first caused caseloads to rise, the cycle already appears to be on its downside. Case numbers in Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Missouri peaked in early or mid-August and have since been falling.”
__________

Whose "fault" is this? Or is the virus itself simply a force with "a mind of its own," so to speak, that we are going to have to figure out as time goes on?

U.S. May Never Recognize Taliban Government

White House chief of staff Ron Klain told MSNBC that he wasn’t sure whether the U.S. would ever recognize the Taliban as Afghanistan’s legitimate government.

James did you know that 75% of the Afghan economy is supported by the generosity of outside countries like the US????? The only thing Afghan has of value is exporting Lapis Lazuli and opium!!!!!!! Yep.....the only US hammer is $ and it seems to me the Taliban are trying their best to troll us for aid!!!!!!

GOP Targets Democrats on Taliban Recognition
August 31, 2021 at 9:32 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard 236 Comments

“The largest block of House Republicans will try to use the annual markup of the federal defense spending bill starting Wednesday to message against any recognition of the Taliban’s legitimacy,” Axios reports.

“All of their proposed amendments to the National Defense Authorization Act are expected to fail, but it’s part of a broader GOP messaging offensive to attack the Biden administration and Democrats over the withdrawal from Afghanistan.”

LOOKS LIKE THE GOP CAN FORGET THAT: SEE 7:45 ABOVE FROM THIS MORNING.
