"People are going to die" because the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is rationing the distribution of Regeneron's monoclonal antibody treatment to states including Texas, Republican Rep. Brian Babin, a member of the GOP Doctors Caucus, said on the John Solomon Reports podcast.

"This is a federal takeover, and really seemingly punishing six conservative Republican red states" that have successfully treated COVID patients while resisting the president's mandates, said Babin, a longtime dentist who represents parts of Houston. Texas and other states "are being cut 30 to 50%," he claimed. "It just goes without saying that this Biden administration doesn't care," said Babin, adding that "they flip-flop routinely" on vaccine mandates and lockdowns. Referring to Dr. Anthony Fauci, he said "the only thing you know that's always certain about this man is that he's uncertain."
This topic has come up before. The reality is that the manufacture of this antibody treatment is on record as saying that they have no supply issues. The manufacture insists that they can create as much of this treatment as is being asked for and is being used. Apparently the Biden administration cannot stand that anyone is doing anything differently than what they are telling them to do. So they are cutting the supply of these antibodies to at least six different states who have been using them successfully.
Now for those keeping track, our Covid numbers are still on the rise. We had 133K cases yester day and over 2200 deaths. The main reason this is no longer a headline is the fact that all but three of these deaths occured in states that are not Florida or run by Ron DeSantis. The Florida surge seems to have waned and given way to surges in other parts of the country. When you are seeing 47 times more deaths from California than you are from Florida, the media stops talking about it. Nothing interesting about this if you cannot blame DeSantis.
But this is the politicization of lives, folks. Liberals can get their panties in a bunch over the fact that Trump loved to send controversial tweets in the middle of the night, but they seem okay with the fact that Biden seems to be killing people. If it is not Military service members or Afghani families, it's Covid patients who are looking for a treatment that Biden is now holding back.
There is nothing about the monoclonal antibody that is dangerous. There is no reason to block it. There is no reason to ration it. There is no reason to prevent one single doctor from providing it to one single patient in this country. But that is exactly what the Biden administration is doing. What is the possible motivation here, folks? If anyone has anything that makes sense, I would love to hear it.

U.S. stocks jumped for a second day as fears around a crisis in China’s property market eased somewhat and as the Federal Reserve kept current monetary stimulus in place for just a little bit longer.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 506 points, or 1.5%. The S&P 500 rose 1.3% and the Nasdaq Composite gained 1%.

Bank stocks, which are typically viewed as cyclical stocks whose performance is tied to the path of the economy, rose as Treasury yields climbed higher. JPMorgan, Bank of America and Citibank added about 3%. Regional banks, which tend to trade closely along with the 10-year, like Regions and Fifth Third gained more than 3%.

MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow was fed up with the unvaccinated overwhelming state hospital systems.
"We are following breaking news out of the great state of Alaska where Alaska's Republican governor, Mike Dunleavy has just announced that Alaska has now become the second state in the country to declare that all its hospitals statewide will now be shifting to crisis standards of care," Maddow reported.
"What that means, in English, is that hospital care is now being rationed at hospitals in Alaska. In practical terms, that means that people who are less likely to survive get moved down the priority list in terms of whether or not they get an ICU bed, whether or not they get certain intensive forms of treatment and care," she explained. "People less likely to survive will not get those resources, they will be moved down the line."
Maddow noted the crisis is not just in Alaska, but two other states with GOP governors.
She said that crisis standards of care "is a thing that we really haven't confronted before as a country. Now we've got it in place, though, in one of Montana's major medical centers — they moved to crisis standards of care this week. We've also got it in every hospital in the state in Idaho as of last week and in every hospital in the state in Alaska as of tonight."
Maddow said the unvaccinated were "effectively breaking the hospital systems in these states" and she warned other states are "teetering on the brink."
She went on to criticize those who say getting vaccinated is a personal decision.
"To put it in blunt terms, the personal decision by someone in Alaska to not get vaccinated right now ultimately results in someone else dying in Anchorage because that person can't get the dialysis treatment that would save their life and that they would otherwise be able to get if it weren't for the hospitals being overwhelmed by people who are sick specifically and only because they chose not to get the shot to protect them from Covid," Maddow said.
"Your decision whether or not to get vaccinated can be a life or death determining factor for somebody else who did get vaccinated, but gets in a car wreck or needs dialysis, or needs a heart catheterization procedure, something that they won't be able to get because of all the unvaccinated people filling up the hospitals," she explained. "This is not complicated math, and it is not -- yeah, it may be a personal decision, but it's a decision that has consequences way beyond your personal corporeal self."

Florida's new top health official issued a controversial emergency order Wednesday that lets parents choose whether their children will quarantine after they are exposed to the coronavirus.
The order, signed by Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo,who believes the same inane horse treatment still requires children with covid-19 symptoms or a positive coronavirus test to isolate. But children who are exposed to the coronavirus by coming into close contact with someone who tests positive do not have to stay home if they do not have symptoms.

The Biden administration has come out against an amendment to the defense budget that would prevent the Pentagon from dishonorably discharging service members who refuse to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Office of Management and Budget said in a statement Tuesday that the administration "strongly opposes" the amendment, arguing that if it's implemented, it would "detract from readiness and limit a commander's options for enforcing good order and discipline when a Service member fails to obey a lawful order to receive a vaccination."

Tennessee Republican Rep. Mark Green, a veteran, has led the push to prevent the military from discharging service members who refuse the vaccine with any distinction other than honorable via the National Defense Authorization Act.
"I am disgusted that the Biden administration is trying to gut my amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that prevents anything but an honorable discharge for servicemembers who refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine," Green told the Washington Examiner in a statement.
"Every Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee agreed to my amendment. It is tragic and horrifying that the Biden administration can’t respect the rights of our military that every House Democrat on the Committee voted for," he said.

Despite my big win in Texas, I hear Texans want an election audit! You know your fellow Texans have big questions about the November 2020 Election. Bills to audit elections in your great state’s House and Senate were considered during Texas’ Second Special Session. Instead, the legislature passed a watered-down amendment that doesn’t even apply to the 2020 Presidential Election. This short amendment doesn’t answer the questions Texans have about the last election. Texans demand a real audit to completely address their concerns.
We need HB 16, which was just filed in the Third Special Session. This legislation specifically addresses the 2020 Presidential Election, and enables audits for future elections. The bill creates a process for candidates and party chairs to initiate an audit, and uses the same language as SB 97, which already passed the Texas State Senate, but did not have enough time to make it through the House during the Second Special Session.
Texas needs you to act now. Your Third Special Session is the perfect, and maybe last, opportunity to pass this audit bill. Time is running out. Paper ballots in your state are only kept for 22 months after the election. Your citizens don’t trust the election system, and they want your leadership on this issue, which is the number one thing they care about. It is their most important issue—one that will affect 2022 and 2024.
