There were multiple fatalities but officials announced at a press conference that they won’t be releasing more specifics about even the number of deaths until the families have been notified.
Not going to comment on what the possible reason or motivation was for this. Personally I hope it was some sort of drug overdose or epileptic seizure deal and there was no motivation. The last thing the country needs right now is more problems with race.

He posted $1,000 cash bail on November 19, 2021.
That’s despite the fact he has another open felony case in Milwaukee County, from 2020.
That case is for second-degree recklessly endangering safety – felony with use of a dangerous weapon (two counts) and possessing firearm convicted of a felony (felony charge.) The case was filed in July 2020, but it remains pending.
He has these prior convictions:
Bail jumping (misdemeanor) and marijuana possession (misdemeanor).
Marijuana possession second plus offense (felony). 2011.
Obstruct an officer (misdemeanor). 2005 and 2003.
Marijuana possession (felony). 2002.
Substantial battery (felony). 1999.

Waukesha: Alleged Attacker Is a Convicted Pedophile, Repeat Felon and Self-Described Black Terrorist Who Preached Violence Against White People
Last night, a red Ford SUV plowed through a group of overwhelmingly white people at a Christmas parade in the town of Waukesha, which is west of Milwaukee.
Media reports have confirmed the identity of the alleged driver, Darrell E. Brooks, a registered sex offender who admitted in a video that he pimps children. The career criminal was released back into the streets on a paltry $1000 bond despite being charged with bail-jumping and facing a plethora of violent felonies and misdemeanors just over two weeks ago, according to Wisconsin Court Records.
Many immediately speculated that Brooks' actions had a racial motive and could constitute an act of Black Lives Matter inspired terrorism. So far, officials have refused to comment on this matter. There are five deaths and 40 injuries being officially reported, with many of the victims being children.

Bank stocks and Treasury yields moved higher after the White House announced the Fed decision. Shares of JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley rose about 2% in early trading.
Powell’s renomination comes as inflation has exceeded expectations in recent months, leading the Fed to walk back its predictions that the rise in prices that accompanied the reopening of the economy would be “transitory.” The central bank slowed its asset purchases in November, its first major scaling back of its emergency programs from 2020, and indicated that it could accelerate that process early next year.

A father whose family narrowly avoided getting struck by the driver of a speeding SUV at a Wisconsin Christmas parade on Sunday described the harrowing scene in which at least five people were killed.
Thomas Kluka Jr. was at the parade in Waukesha with his wife, their 14-year-old daughter and one of his daughter's friends when a red SUV came barreling toward them, missing them by only a few feet.
"I noticed him coming through the crowd and I noticed something was not right, and then I seen kind of like just people flying as I stood up," Kluka told Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on TODAY Monday.
"I'm like 'Oh no.' My daughter stood up, I threw her out of the way, then I basically yelled, 'Get out of the way,' and my wife got out of the way, and by the time she did, the car came right past me within at least two feet. I could've touched the car going by."
At least five people were killed and more than 40 injured on Sunday when the red SUV barreled through the crowd around 4:30 p.m. local time at the 58th annual Christmas parade in Waukesha, just west of Milwaukee.
Kluka's said his daughter had been attending the parade with him her entire life, and he was grateful he was able to pull her to safety.
"I wanted to get her out of the way," he said. "That was my main concern was just to get her out of the way, just to make sure she was OK, her and her friend. If I had to get hit, I had to get hit, I was just making sure they got out of the way."
Five senior law enforcement officials briefed on the matter told NBC News that police are questioning a person of interest and that he may have a significant criminal history.
The sources believed the driver may have been fleeing an earlier knife fight. Waukesha Police Chief Daniel Thompson confirmed at a news conference Sunday night that a person of interest had been taken into custody. At this stage of the investigation, there was no connection to terrorism, the sources said.
The horrific scene unfolded when a speeding SUV rammed through a barricaded street at a high rate of speed and plowed into a sea of people, many of them children.
One video showed the car nearly hitting a toddler, and one officer opened fire in an effort to stop the vehicle, according to the police chief. Parents desperately tried to find their children after being separated from them during the chaos.
Officials issued a shelter-in-place order, requesting that everyone stay away from the scene as they canvas the streets.
"Today our community faced horror and tragedy in what should’ve been a community celebration," Waukesha mayor Shawn Reilly said at a news conference.

In the summer of 1949, a 17-year-old named Norma Padgett lodged an accusation that would thrust Groveland, Florida, a rural community near Orlando, into decadeslong turmoil: While driving home from a dance with her husband, the couple's car stalled. Padgett told police they were confronted by four young Black men who attacked her husband and then abducted and raped her at gunpoint.
The claims made by Padgett, who is white and now in her 80s, set off a manhunt that spurred an onslaught of violence against Black residents of Groveland, mobilizing the National Guard and prompting Thurgood Marshall, then a lead attorney for the NAACP, to take up the cause of the men who would come to be known as the Groveland Four.
While the accused — Charles Greenlee, Walter Irvin, Samuel Shepherd and Ernest Thomas — have since died, it took seven decades before the state of Florida formally recognized how they were failed by the criminal justice system. In 2019, Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a posthumous pardon.
But on Monday morning, a circuit court judge in Lake County went further, clearing the charges against the men and issuing a ruling that effectively exonerated them of the crime. Bill Gladson, a local prosecutor, set the extraordinary move into motion last month, when he filed paperwork to toss Thomas' and Shepherd's indictments and set aside the sentences and judgments imposed on Greenlee and Irvin.
"We followed the evidence to see where it led us, and it led us to this moment," Gladson said at a news conference following the judge's decision.
Carol Greenlee, the daughter of Charles Greenlee, who was the youngest of the suspects, then just 16, wept and fell into the arms of those next to her as a judge formally dismissed the charges.
"If you know something is right stand up for it," Greenlee later said of the lessons she learned. "Be persistent."
In an earlier statement, Carol Greenlee said that despite proclamations from the governor and the state Legislature and a monument dedicated in the Groveland Four's honor, the families were awaiting "full justice" from the judicial branch to feel vindicated.

Several people protesting against Kyle Rittenhouse's acquittal were injured when a car drove into their demonstration in Connecticut.
About 15-20 protesters were blocking portions of a roadway, holding signs and chanting Saturday evening in Manchester when a black car with Massachusetts place drove toward them, and organizers believe the man intended to hurt them, reported WTIC-TV.
"He was angry," said Ivelisse Correa, of Black Lives Matter 860. "It looked like he was looking for a reason and he found one. You could tell in his face. The passenger was screaming bloody murder."
Correa said about six people were struck by the car and four of them injured, including a man whose foot was run over and a 60-year-old woman who was struck head-on.
Police are investigating the incident but declined to offer any specifics about a possible suspect or his motives, but Correa said the incident highlights the issues involved in the Rittenhouse trial.
"This is nothing more than another example of people deputizing themselves against others to police against their own politics and views," Correa said.
BLM860 released a statement making a similar point.
"Vigilante emboldened by the Rittenhouse verdict commits attempted vehicular homicide against jaywalking protesters who were armed and showed superhuman amounts of restraint," the group said in a statement.
The protesters said they were allowing vehicles to pass during green lights.
